I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and after tax it was almost $20 and it was some of the dryest chicken shawarma I've ever had. There are MANY better shawarma places in the area with higher quality food for the same or lower price.

The sides were good but the dryness of the chicken took away from the whole meal. Definitely won't be coming back.

The older gentleman here was super friendly and funny. Even thanked me in Mandarin

WOW! First time visit and it was delicious. 10pm at night and the food was fresh. I ordered a Chicken Shawarma Platter to go. There is enough food for two so the price is reasonable (especially due to being downtown) My platter included rice, some eggplant stew-like side (love the flavour of this side), chick pea side, lentil side, kale salad with apple side, hummus and garlic sauce and of course chicken freshly cut from the shawarma rack. WOW! A glorious mess of deliciousness! Although I did not stay the place was clean and warm for a very cold night. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely worth making this place a regular stop of mine. Open till 4am which means a visit from me when I work the midnight shift.

This place was a stone's throw away from my hotel while on a business trip to Toronto and in spite of having had a less than stellar experience at a couple Middle Eastern eateries prior, this place looked intriguing enough to give it a shot. I am glad I did. Everything from the quality and freshness of the food to the smiling service was top notch. I am vegetarian so naturally had to try the falafel wrap. It was outrageously delicious. But what really stole the show for me was their roasted potatoes topped with hummus or garlic (or both!). Such a divine experience. And unlike another Mediterranean place in Texas (which I reviewed) where the smell of meat pervaded the vegetarian dishes these folks knew enough to not do that.

I almost ended up eating here twice during a 1 week trip but yet another Middle Eastern eatery beckoned. But I will be back here should I ever find myself in this neck of the woods again.

The food is fantastic and although it's a little pricey for take out the quantity and quality is incredible!

Very good. Good salad options. Tabbouleh is a bit too sour to my liking but still good. Not sure, because it's Lebanese, chicken shawarma all white meat. Garlic sauce and hummus are very good. Hummus the smoothest I've had in a long time.

It was a late Saturday night (or a very early Sunday some would call it!). My companion mike (platonic) and I were returning from being the life and energy at da club like we always are. Lebanon Express was a lighthouse amid the treacherous seas of worry and caverns of hunger. The workers were passionate when handling our order; like a moose treating scathing wounds of her new newborn calf. They offered generous shelter in the form of a 4 seat table for the two of us! Also the food was good

The falafel shawarma here is amaaaaazing! It was very tasty, juicy! I can stop eating meat if all the vegetarian food will be that good

I ordered through Ubereats and the chicken was stale and hard to chew.
Waste of money

The portions are big and the staff is friendly. The shawarma plate is $17 before tax and worth it. It always comes with garlic sauce, hummus and tahini. I like the Arab music in the background.

The food is not fresh ag all and their shawerma taste is so bad, I ordered a shawerma plate; the guy even did not ask me what side or vegetables I want, he added everything by himself. The Service and communication are very bad. I would not recommend anyone go try the food there

Amazing food. Lots of options for side dishes and overall great value. The meat is not dry and is full of taste.

Pricey but this is probably the best shawarma in the core (for the best shawarma in Toronto venture out to Scarborough)

This place is the shawarma of all shawarma in Toronto, the only shawarma that is maybe slightly better is in Ottawa and the Middle East, amazing food and service. Been coming here for years and it’s only improved in quality, thank you for the consistency Please never change

Superb authentic taste for Lebanese food. And I always notice how each time I visit the vegetables are always freshly cut. Ubaidi seems nice

Plates are the go-to here. Get the Eggplant as a side, it's very flavorful. Garlic is par, hummus is par. Chicken by itself isn't flavourful but that's why you have garlic/tahini/chilli etc etc.

Generous portions, good value for money. $10-$15pp.

I was hankering for a simple, fresh, falafel plate with taboule and hummus. Maybe some baklava for dessert. Hit all the notes. Yum.

Love coming here for their wraps. Tried their chicken shawarma wrap and falafel wrap, both of which were affordable and tasty. The portions were huge too. Will definitely frequent this location going forward.

Hoping to visit again and again

We ordered the chicken shawarma wrap. The chicken was very very dry and was made like chipotle type chicken, on the stove. It should originally be chicken slow cooked on a rotating skewer which is actually flavorful and juicy. This is not an original shawarma at all and hard to eat.

Been coming here for years and it's still the best shawarma in town! And I've tried like 20 of them lol

Chicken was good, the salads were also very good. Loved the Portion sizing and price. Nice pleasant staff, and awesome service.

One of the tasty shawarmas i had in Toronto. Their Beef shawarma is very delicious and do ask them to put an extra pickle.

Oct 19 2021. This place is really good. The falafel wrap I had was really tasty and filling and the price was decent too. I loved the song “Palestinian mashup” playing in the store too.

This place is NOT good. Extremely disappointed seeing all these positive reviews. The chicken tastes like dry, microwaved chicken from a frozen dinner. I was disappointed from the moment I opened this box, seeing how dry and unseasoned it looked.

The only good parts of this meal were the rice and the chickpeas.

What a waste of money. Chicken is gross and the food appearance is a disaster. Will never order from there again.

Never had shawarma before, didn't know what to expect
$20 for a HUGE plate full of chicken, veggies, and rice.way too much food for one person! Great value!

The chicken shawarma is really good. Best I have tasted in downtown. The salad is also pretty nice.

One of my favorites spots based on the below 3:
1. Quality of food: Amazing. I usually get the beef wrap with fries but the salads and assortment of food is really outstanding won't disappoint. Fresh!

2. Environment: Really comfortable chairs, lighting and great location to grab a bite by yourself or with friends.

3. The staff: The two guys behind the counter really make this review more than 5 stars. They make you feel as though you're friends, really good guys. If they're the owners good job! And if they're employees they definitely deserve a raise.

Quantity often compromises with quality and taste, but this place in Toronto got it all under oneroof #halal #food friendly staff and the place is maintained pretty well too! Kudos to team #lebanon its a great place to dine in with family and friends# must try

Nice big portion of food, it’s worth the price. Fresh and tasty. My favourite was three big veggie samosas for only $8. Friendly and quick service too.

Highly recommend this place, I got a beef shawarma wrap and it was so juicy and yummy. Definitely will come again for shawarma wrap.

One of the most underestimated places ever. This place might not look the best but man oh man is their food yummy and flavourful and fresh and most importantly, affordable. The owners are great people, and I once even saw them offer a homeless man a free meal at the end of the night. We need more business and food vendors like them! I recommend the wraps! Sometimes their beef samosas can be a little dry though.

The chicken shawarma meat only box (pic attached) is $8. Unbelievable. Spices were so bland. Felt like eating plain chicken. Also ordered falafel wrap with garlic sauce and no cabbage. Guess what there was no garlic sauce and there was cabbage (see pic). The falafels were the worst I've ever eaten.
Please avoid at all costs and save your money.

Good customer service with a massive amount of food.

[Food] The amount of food Lebanon Express served was a surprise. The pleasant overflow of chicken, rice, onions, and salad lasted me 2 days. As for the taste, it was very good. The chicken was tender, and the chickpeas were good. The hummus wasn't up to par, but overall I enjoyed my meal.

Got food to go. Delicious falafel wrap. The ingredients were fresh, spicy sauce and garlic sauce really add a distinct flavor to their wraps - would recommend getting everything on your wrap. Their shawarma wrap is quite tasty as well. Quick service and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Did the 3 salads topped with beef shawarma. All the flavours were great. Separated at first then coming together for the final bites.

Nothing specially. Given I went there near closing time. The grill wasnt clean, the employees where hanging out. I get they where closing early but it doesn't mean they should forget to give me my samosa. The first one they forgot on the press and it became to overcooked and had to get a new one. It was also generally a bit stale. Would have been nice to cover them up in something. Is it so hard to put lids on somethings and wipe down everything so there's no crumbs. Wasnt as clean as I would have liked it to be but then again it was near closing. But doesn't that mean they should have done there pre closing routine? If they even have one. It just felt like a place where they sweep everything under the rug.

Went in at 3: 20 AM and they did not have rice or fries, so ordering a plate was out of the question, so i ordered a wrap instead.the wrap tore at the seam when he was making it, and instead of using a new pita, they just rolled her up and fired it into the grill, then sent me on my way.it was a huge mess.a huge, delicious mess.god that thing was good.i was hungry enough to drive up to toronto from st.catharines, and i was not disappointed.i am NEVER eating shawarma in my car again.

We have tried their beef platter shawarma and chicken shawarma wrap it was good and their fries are super awesome!

The chicken shawarma plate is delicious and lots of food! I split it with my partner and we were both full. The lentil salad is delicious!

May be they should slow down a little bit so that the food they serve won’t taste like some sour and bitter junk.

This is the only place I have been to at least 200 times in the past year and a half. Recommend the beef salad with Kale, tabouleh and potatoes. Rare variety of food and healthy. The people are super friendly too. Best Shawarma in Toronto

I went to eat at this restaurant last week and a man sat beside me and harrassed me the whole time I was eating and the staff just stood there and watched and did nothing. I finished my food as quickly as possible and left. What a garbage restaurant. Food was subpar too. Do not recommend.

Bigger wraps than usual, but also more expensive than I'm used to pay for a shawarma wrap (chicken or beef shawarma wrap costs almost $10). And the taste is good, but not the best.

Was hoping for kabobs, but they only have combo plates with sides, salads, and wraps. I ordered the beef wrap and he offered to make it mixed chicken and beef. Even better. It was a pretty good value for the size and tasted good too.

Veg samosas that we took from this place was stale. Beef samosas were ok but the veg one was spoilt.

This is my FAVOURITE SHAWARMA SPOT and the Best location in downtown Toronto! I love the staff, they are so hard-working. It's my go-to for chicken shawarma!

The place is super clean and the staff is wonderful. However, the food tastes extremely bland. They had the chicken pre roasted and would reheat it for customers. The potato wedges were soggy and tasteless. I was really looking forward to a nice plate of shwarma but was left disappointed ️

Food was amazing! This becomes our spot to have a great food at best price with huge smile. Two thumbs up!

This place has delicious food. I usually go with the beef shawarma plate which gives me the option of 3 other sides of my choice. My favourite side is the beet salad. The staff are also very friendly and polite. Overall, great variety of food options and great service.

Few days ago I was looking for a late lunch and went to a small Palestinian place no too far from my office. There were two more customers, the owner and one employee having their lunch. Suddenly, the owner asked to a third employee to bring the cake and invited everyone to celebrate Easter, because one of his employees, Marta, was a Christian!
Very nice people, very cozy restaurant. If happens that one day you are in the area of Yonge and College, go to "Lebanon Express" to taste the real Toronto immigrants life!
By the way, the chocolate cake was outstanding!

Everything was good except that they didn't provide the pita bread with the hummus. I ordered the food via doordash. When I called Lebanon Express and asked, the person on the phone's excuse was to shift the blame on Doordash at first and their website set-up for the company. Then he said if we came in and ordered hummus, they would have provided the pita bread so it didn't make sense as to why they didn't provide the pita bread with the order and they didn't want to do anything to resolve the issue.

This was one of my favorite food in toronto! I tried many restaurants there and i can just say that i prefer shawarma to many many other type of food. When it was good weather, i bought a shawarma and a salad (veeery good too) and sat in a park to eat it. That was sometimes the peak of my day: D

Incredible place with incredible people. Every time I come here, the employees welcome you with open arms and the shawarmas are the best! I came here today with a friend and we loved the atmosphere. To any shawarma lovers out there, this is the place to go! PS: ask for sauce, it’s the key to a good shawarma.

The size of the Shawarma is pretty big, the chicken taste very good And you don’t get pieces of fat in it like you do with other sure my places. The flavour of the sauce is really yummy and The hot sauce has an amazing flavour. Most places you go to the hot sauce just Taste very tomato wish and not very spicy, But this place the hot sauce is very spicy which I love very spicy food. And I can’t forget To mention how friendly the staff are. They really and truly want to make you leave that place happy with them and the food

So i send my bf to get us food at this location because of the great review. I must say! It's the worst! I have eaten in a long time. The Samosa was warm on the outside and cold on the inside, like they took it from the fridge and thrown it to warm for a few seconds. I can't even find words to describe the mess called shawarma, 40$ went to garbage not even the damn tomatoes was fresh. One star review is very important to read.

Yes, the food looks great but there is a server there that doesn't wash his hands with soap and none of them use gloves. The worst part is that they'll handle money, then serve you with the same dirty hands. I obviously left.

One of the best shawarma in the city. A must visit restaurant, decent price, super friendly staffs, great food and so on. Go try once and you will visit again i guarantee.

The guys are super nice however the food is wayyyy to overpriced, especially for the quality you can walk another 50 meters and get way better shawarma and samosas around the corner at pita way for half the price and with way better quality. The pricing is a pathetic joke. Was super disappointed especially since it was rated so well. Will not be back. Super sad to see this. 9$ plus tax for a shawarma when you can get the same that Better quality for 4.20 tax inclusive. Pretty sure they ripped me off as well as the pricing on their menu did not add up to what they charged. As someone who constantly works in service and with tax it’s just sad to see such blatant fraud.
