We had a fantastic meal here, including several of the signature dishes. Our server, Lauren was very friendly and provided excellent guidance. Looking forward to returning.

It’s hard to describe our experience at Lee. We went for our wedding anniversary and we had an amazing time. From the atmosphere, the service and the taste of the food! The « Singapore style slaw » is obviously a must have! We also took the Abodo Chicken Satay. Everything was perfect and we can’t wait to visit it again.

A diner at Lee restaurant is always a win. The food is delicious and consistent. I love the atmosphere inside of the restaurant as well as dining in the patio in the summer. The service is great here. You can’t miss with this menu.

Susur Lee and his team at the new location have out done them selves. An adjusted menu with three or four new beautiful items. Cocktails were on point, service was amazing.

Never, have I had a meal this good in my life. I lived in New Orleans, I’ve lived in New York City, I’ve spent a bit of time in Italy, and this beats everything hands-down!

This wasn’t my first time going to Lee’s and never have I had a bad experience. Unfortunately, this time I was disappointed with our server. She started off great and then her attention and attitude changed. It was a bit uncomfortable. Our plates were brought by other servers and one asked me if there’s a problem to which I was taken back because I wasn’t sure why he asked me that. I didn’t find the staff friendly, quite opposite actually…everyone was coming off cold. Before we ordered I asked if the slaw can be made without adding the peanuts and I specified my son is allergic. At the end, she brought my other son dessert for his birthday on the house without alerting me there’s peanuts and my other son took a bite. I didn’t make a fuss about it, I had to take my kid to the nearest shoppers drug mart for some Benadryl not knowing how bad his reaction might be. Thank goodness he only had a mild reaction. Food was great! Beautiful restaurant! But definitely not the same dynamic I’m used to from the old location. The servers were super friendly there and just made the entire dining experience better. I was hoping for that on my sons birthday tonight.

Love this restaurant, vibe and service every time! The slaw and sangria are staples here that we have to order each time we visit since they are so amazing and whatever else we add to the order is always delicious!

We take fam and friends here who are visiting as we know it’ll be a highlight of their visit. Highly recommend!

What surprised me most were the cocktails! I came for the food but stayed for the cocktails. I highly recommend the Intercontinental and the Birds of Nirvana. Both very interesting and complex. Obviously the food was good, my favourite was the Beef Gyoza- simply amazing. The service was also top notch. Our server Sofiia was very attentive and all our needs were handled excellently with the dishes explained very well. Overall great experience.

I booked a dinner for my mother in law and mother and they had an exceptional time. I reached out to the restaurant asking could I provide my card and pick out the menu for them. Right away Delilah reached back out. I was able to pick out everything for them with ease. When they arrived at the restaurant they were greeted with a pleasant hostess. They gave them a print out of the pre selected menu and seated them. They said everything was excellent from the food to the service. They even saw Chef Lee come out and greet a couple of customers. They were so pleased.

I was really excited to see what this place was about especially after seeing so many positive reviews. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed. The starter was a really odd dish that was weirdly plated but maybe I shouldn't have ordered it. The halibut was nice, but not something I would remember as being extremely delicious. I did not enjoy my dessert at all, I'm actually annoyed that I paid for it.
I had to be seated outside even though I had made a reservation almost a month in advance. My waitress was perfectly nice, however I could hear her serving all the tables around me. When telling each table the restaurant's "best" dishes or her "favorite" dishes, she gave a different answer each time. I felt cheated as I ordered much of my meal based on what she told me. Overall my expectations were too high and the menu is overpriced as well. I think its worth trying out, just tamp your anticipation.

High-quality dining experience. Service was top class and food was equally as good. All of the flavors seemed to pop and blend perfectly together. The slaw was amazing but I found the Yucatan Goat Cheese Tart to be my highlight. Will definitely be going back.

The Singapore Slaw is legendary and in my top 5 all time favourite dishes.
Our server was competent but this could have been a michelin star meal if the service was a bit better. They said love this place

My second visit and my first at the new location.
The food sings, everyone knows that, it's stunning and diecious. But my groups enjoyment was greatly enhanced by the excellent staff, in particular our server (Grey), instantly likable, possessing a great knowledge of the menu and significantly added to our enjoyment of the night.

Went in on a Saturday night without a reservation and we were given a seat at the bar. Our waiter was very friendly and funny. The food was the most amazing I've ever eaten.

Oyster Shots in Sake were an excellent flavor combination
Pulled beef Gyoza were crispy and creamy all at once and were delicious.
Waygu Steak was so tender and flavourful

Singapore Slaw is an absolute must! We drive 2 hours to just get this salad. At $40 it’s worth every dollar. Pair with the braised beef and it’s a perfect dinner.

Very annoyed at the new prices. Not worth it. Came for a special occasion and we were being rushed so much that we decided to go for dessert elsewhere. We got so stressed. They were constantly trying to clear plates while we were still eating. Used to go frequently to the old location but now the price and service is all wrong.

The food and atmosphere is very nice here. The coleslaw is a must have, with enough flavour for your entire meal. Seriously, get the coleslaw.

We came here after our city hall marriage; it was suppose to be a special occasion. We didn’t announce anything and just wanted to keep it casual and just have a great time.

I would say the overall experience was mediocre at best; the lower rating comes from the fact that this is suppose to be fine dining and I think it really fell short of that. There was 3 of us, we ordered a drink each plus the 4-5 plates suggested to share.

Service: I am reading reviews and I’ve had similar experience; we weren’t completely done our food or there was just a little left and we wanted to finish everything of course. The server came by 3 times to take a plate away when there was still some food left. (At the price point of $40 for a slaw, you bet we are going to enjoy every bit of it!) I also just think it’s a little rude when we are clearly still eating and taking our time and felt constantly rushed so they could bring another plate out.

Drinks: we ordered whatever the featured drink was; our server couldn’t remember the name of it and couldn’t really explain it other then “it’s one of our best cocktails”. We ordered 2 oyster Cesar drinks and they fell so short. Also - I did not appreciate that we were up sold on vodka selection without knowing it. It was priced at $22 per Cesar and we were asked grey goose or Tito’s which felt like that was the basic price? But the selection costed an additional $6. I just felt that we should have been told the vodka upswell price. It felt like the default and you had a choice. Also - worst Cesar ever; sometimes - too much fusion isn’t great. Hoisin in Cesar is just a bit too much and the drink was not mixed properly and I had to ask for a straw to stir the concoction for the right flavour.

Food: we ordered 5 plates as suggested; it was too much for 3 people; we had the slaw, taco cheeseburger, duck, cod and braised beef. It was a very tasteful, we did enjoy all of it and it was great fusion and pairing. Nothing fell short here, great tasting food.

Overall, I’d say save your money. There are better fine dining restaurants at the same price point where you’ll get the full experience. This simply isn’t the fine dining quality price; food is great but service is equally important.

I’ve been to a few of Susar’s places in the past, so I was excited to try out the new and improved Lee. At first, I was a little put off as the front of house was a bit cold and extremely quiet. That trend continued with another very quiet waiter who struggled with the specials and wasn’t sure what some of the menu items were. That was really surprising for a restaurant like this.

Things quickly improved as our main server came and was clearly a pro. We got the Singapore slaw which was delicious, followed by a steak and black cod. The black cod came with a riff on turnip cake (a dim sum classic), and was absolutely phenomenal. Overall the food was great, albeit a tad expansive for what you get.

Another cool little moment was Susar coming out of the kitchen to go table to table to thank each guest for coming. Very nice touch.

So despite the rough start, it was a good experience and I’ll be coming back.

Our party of two went in for dinner service last week, not super busy. However the service was for a lack of a better word. 'strange'. Our server asked if we had been there before, and I mentioned I had been to the old location. After that it just became odd, instead of going over the menu and the specials she just directed towards me and said, 'Since you are an expert, why don't you explain the menu'. I laughed it off at the time as bad attempt at banter, but it kept happening. When we were served their signature slaw, the server mixing it again asked me go over all the 21 ingredient since 'Since I know and I have been there before'. Finally we were served our meals, lady topping off our sake literally had the most charm free and stern demeanor, and they never even asked if we wanted dessert or how the food was. They couldn't wait for us to leave when we were only 60 minutes into the whole thing. Even the table next to us was not sure why they were acting that way with us. Their menu had the most basic typos too, it was just a mess.

Go in for the most rudimentary cocktails and brilliant decor/industrial design but avoid rest. Food is definitely not worth the hype. Its just looks pretty for social media and kinda designed for patrons who 'think' this is what good food is supposed to taste like. Susur Lee, if he does read reviews, needs to go back to basics/food and stop with his TikTok/Celebrity chef nonsense.
