Lee Valley

I bought and garbage container that perfectly fit on the space we had. I could not find anything close to this in other retail stores. After more than a year balls from the sliders started to come out. I went to the store hoping they will be able to help me. Wendy greeted me, listened to the issue and brought me replacement free of charge. I was extremely happy. Many thanks Wendy and Lee Valley! Great service!

Best place for quality woodworking tools. Also good selection of top end gardening tools.
Lots of the other accessories that go along with those things too. And a good selection of quality baking gear.
Lots of free parking in front of the store and lots of very helpful, cheerful staff.

Lee Valley is an excellent store for woodworkers and Makers in general. (And gardeners, and.)
Their goods are high quality. I genuinely enjoy shopping there.
Only quasi-negative is they sometimes only have the expensive version of something, when a less pricy version would suit me just fine.

It's surreal to me I just found Lee Valley. Besides the atypical in-store ordering situation, this place is amazing. Arguably, most things are expensive and some potentially overpriced, but you get what you pay for. I'm not aware of another brick and mortar store with such an amazing selection of fine woodworking tools and supplies. You will find everything you need here, plus a million things you don't and the customer service is fantastic.

This is a very (as everyone knows) high quality store worth e ery penny. Its a must to check it out

Very dissapointed with how the staff treated my mother who has a medical exemption from wearing a mask. She felt belittled and as if the staff did not respect her.

I always seem to find the needed parts I need for woodworking or other mechanical obscurities that plague me. Parts staff are helpful, courteous people. Got my Japanese water stones here to sharpen my kitchen knives - what a difference! Don't use those sharpeners (that you drag the blade through) for sale at kitchen stores as all they do is notch and damage your blades. Properly sharpened blades hold their edges longer, when you use quality sharpening stones. There are tutorials on YouTube that are very good to get you going.

We where looking for some cabinet handle replacements. E. J.was oustanding. Guys like him, are a credit to Lee Valley awesome service.

Accommodated us very nicely. Although they didn't carry the product we wanted any longer, they made an effort to direct us I. The right direction. We will be back for what they do carry for sure!

Lee Valley can't be beat for its selection of quality - and sometimes eclectic - garden supplies, tools, and hardware. The Burlington location staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Good experience, overall I suppose.not sure if it's because the pandemic or what, but despite a fairly empty store and looking like I need help, I had to wait quite some time for any assistance with the questions I had, however, once I did manage to wrangle a staff member, they were very friendly and knowledgeable. All that aside, it's great place for high quality woodworking tools and and some gardening things.

So nice to be shopping in person again. Friendly always helpful staff make every visit to Lee Valley a pleasure.

Interesting collection of goods, great place to shop for the "hard to buy for people".

Was buying something off the shelve, but was made to wait and take a number to check out. I asked twice to process me and told to take a number and wait. There system is not a good one. If there was a cashier a simple scan and beep would process more customers. I put the item back and will never return.

Plenty of staff so customers are in and out quickly. Floor staff that you can for specific items one is looking for. Follows all covid restrictions.

Returned a 20 yer old spade that I broke ten years ago this afternoon. It was a simple, positive experience. Highly recommend Lee Valley.

Fantastic place to get woodworking specialty tools. Power or hand tools. Also a great selection of garden tools.project plans ect.

Bought my first woodworking tools the other day. The staff is amazing! I went in nervous, and came out confident on my purchase. I had 2 staff members help me, and we were able to throw in personal experiences, and they treated me like an equal.

I ended up buying a No4 smooth plane with the upgraded blade and a set of 4 chisels.
Chisel prices were fair, but the plane was expensive. I am a believer in "You get what you pay for" so I'm ecstatic about my purchases. I was able to try out the plane before purchase and felt the quality difference between this and a Stanley plane I used in a woodworking class.

I wish I wrote down the names of the 2 employees so I can write an email to corporate about them. They were both enthusiastic and you can tell they love what they do. I will be coming back to get my blades sharpened and buy more tools when I need them.

Fantastic seminars taught by knowledgeable helpful people. A great place to find those not-so-easy to find woodworking tools and project ideas

I was at the Burlington store last Saturday looking for a finish to use on a wood table I am refinishing.
They spent the time to offer several options and explain how to use the stain and top coating.
Try it today and am very happy with the outcome.

I've frequently visited the downtown TO location but having moved i am now closer to the burlington location.i was glad to discover the excellent service held true in Burlington as well, very friendly and helpful staff.

I'm somewhat partial to this particular store (s). I discovered this in 1998 in London Ontario. If you are looking for excellent quality in the products you are looking for, look no further. They have what one needs to get the job done. And the staff, in every store that I've visited, excellent. They really know their products and the band over backwards to help you find what your looking for. Highly recommend this place. Top drawer.

We really enjoyed the seminar held by Rosie Treiber for making a leather dog leash and collar. Our first time, so we will be back for other seminars.

Great place for the hobbyist or for finding interesting hardware. Good selection and helpful staff.

This a great company. Some items are pricey but majority of the time it's a quality item. And they do have good sales and one time offers.

Love this company! Their website is a little hard to navigate; and you need to spell the product exactly when searching, which can be difficult if you dont know what the heck the thing is called. LV offers "express pick up", so you can order items online and pick them up a couple hours later with little wait time. Christmas is definitely their busy season. Really kind staff, and nice to see the products all displayed in store.

Always a great place to shop. Today was even better with free gift wrapping. And everyone (even the shoppers) friendly and full of good cheer.

Had exactly what I needed of the service was fast. Your staff is also knowledgeable with years of experience the only downside is they are more expensive than other places and you can get things cheaper online if you prefer to wait but they only sell the best so all in all a handy place to have
