Leela Indian Food Bar - Dundas, Toronto

We had a fantastic time at this Indian restaurant! The butter chicken was incredibly flavorful, practically melting in our mouths. The paneer makni was rich and creamy, and the naans and onion salad were absolute delights. The place is clean, making it a great dining experience for our group of 3!

I really like the atmosphere of the restaurant. The service was upto the mark and food was amazing.

Was expecting much better food experience reading the reviews. The food tastes ok and feels more of a western-influenced Indian taste. Even though the dish mentions Spicy, it is not spicy at all. Really disappointed with Panner Tikka Masala. It was more of a butter panner gravy with paneer cubes. Paneer was not soft to the touch.
The service is good, and the servers were attentive.
Wouldn't recommend for an authentic Indian experience.

I have been following this restaurant since a very long time. And i am mesmerized with the utterly delicious food. Everything about the restaurant is very good. Amazing services, mouth watering food and beautiful atmosphere which more often visit. I really love going to this place!

Leela Indian Food Bar never disappoints. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is simply amazing. It's definitely worth a visit if you're craving authentic Indian flavors.

I would like to thank Google for recommending this Indian restaurant while I was searching for restaurants with dine-in open today after having a swim at Smythe Park swimming pool (another gr8 place to spend summer time with family).
This is by far the BEST INDIAN FOOD RESTAURANT in Toronto and GTA I have tried. And believe me I have tried almost all Indian restaurants in downtown (Bindiya, Host, Butter chicken factory, Bombay palace etc.), All restaurants on Gerrard St (India Bazar), Khao Guli and others in mid town, Adrak, Goa Farm Kitchen, Butter chick, copper chimney and others in Up town as well as most of the popular ones in Mississauga, Brampton including buffet places-Tandoori flame, Brars's, Kwality etc.
Mostly the restaurants have 1-2 signature dishes which are really good and guests go for those and have a edible compromise with other items on the menu. That is not the case with Leela Indian food bar.
100% of the dishes and drinks we ordered were well made and delicious-Lasooni cauliflower, virgin mohito, Mango lassi, Kashmiri Lamb roganjosh, Paneer tikka masala and Dal makhni were Perfect and yummiest. Butter naan (with butter u can see) was hands down the best. Pics of empty plates attached to prove how tasty was the food. This place is not very expensive considering the high food quality it offers. Everything is moderately priced. Servers were awesome and very polite. I have found my go to place for Indian food finally. Paid municipal parking is available on Dundas St. Will be going very soon again to try remaining dishes.

I wish, I could have given them a 6 star rating out of 5. Probably, ate at more than 120 Indian restaurants in Canada & U. S. Hands off- This was the best one in food, ambience & GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The waitress was amazing and was so kind to my mom! The best East Indian food I have tried in Toronto by far! It’s in a league of its own! Wow! The Cauliflower Appetizer is UNBELIEVABLE I have NEVER had cauliflower that tasted so amazing!

The food and the service here is excellent. I ordered saag lamb and it was so tender, cooked to perfection! My husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner and we couldn't be more happy. We even got complimentary gulab jamin for our special day! Thank you so much Leela Indian Food Bar for the memorable experience.

Never ate here before the lockdowns but ordered takeout just recently.it is so good! I ordered the vegetable biryani and spicy chicken madras with the mint chutney on the side.the portions are great! Enough for two meals or one for two hungry people.the heat and spice are great and everything tastes fresh (all the vegetables in the biryani sometimes tastes soggy). Usually chutneys at other restaurants come small but here they give you a larger amount which is amazing because i love the coriander chutney.awesome place to order indian if you're looking for some ethnic food!

Recently tried this restaurant for the first time and was quite impressed! The ambiance of the restaurant is nice is this cozy place. I ended up ordering with my girlfriend a Mango lassi (Best I've had in my life). Samosa (highly recommend this) the flavours and the sauce they use with it is delicious. Mutter Paneer (very tasty curry). Vegetable Biryani and Garlic naan. This is some of the best Indian food I've had in the DT Toronto area. The service is great as well, they make sure you are happy and content while you're there. I had allergy concerns since I am allergic to nuts and they made sure to help with my request with what I ordered. If you're at the Junction area in the High Park area, definitely stop by and try this place! You won't be disappointed. Support local ethnic places like this, they are what make these areas great.

Ordered take out from here and was pretty blown away at the quality for the price. I haven't found many good curry places since moving to Canada but this has to be the best. The samosas are huge, the pakoras are crispy, moist and super tasty and the curry is just bursting with flavour and tastes very authentic. Highly recommended. This is now my new go to for a proper good curry.

Im not sure where to begin. The establishment is super clean, staff is very friendly and the food is out of this world good. Being one that has travelled to different parts of India, i strongly recommend this place. I will def go back and looking forward to that.
