Leela Supermarket

You will get almost every south indian srilankan items here. I usually come here for fish. I have bought fish from couple of other shops in the area too and items here are pretty fresh and cheap.

When I called Leela Supermarket as a new immigrant to Canada to ask about the cost of the matta rice, they advised me to visit the store instead. The leela market is a long way from my place, and I don't have a car to get there. My displeasure with their customer service is immense.

Fish shop is terrible. Not value for price. If buy shark adding all shark waste in bags and sell. If ask that guy so rude behavior.

It's a fairly big supermarket where you get most of the Asian, Indian or Srilankan items. Price is mostly on the higher side buy you will find most of the items from these parts of the world here.

They have lots of stuff. Well laid out. However, most of their products are not labeled with prices. So we have to guess the price and confirm it at the checkout. Also many of the products are very close to the expiry date or actually expired. So check the expiry dates of the products before buying it.

This is one of the worst place and they are giving worst customer service. They suspicious about the customers. They think customers gonna steel their $1,2,3 veggies and $0.50 Maggie noodles packet. The women who wearing a specs asked me 2 days I have to keep my bag outside. She asked me 2 days. In my bag I have more than $200 value cloths (I did shopping before I came to this place). That women might think I’m gonna steel her $1,2 veggies. She have no rights to ask me to leave my bag outside. Terrible place. 0 review

Leela supermarket they have increased their space, vegetable, non veg and south Indian grocery are available

Great place for Sri Lankan food and spices. They have almost everything a Sri Lankan living in Canada would crave to eat. The fish and meat section is the best. They have all the tropical fish like tuna, trevoli, grouper, seer, swordfish, snapper etc. That Sri Lankans live eating. They also have fresh mutton. The prices are reasonable. A great shop which will improve your quality of life if you are a Sri Lankan living in Canada.

Great place with sri lankan and indian groceries. Feels a bit cluttered inside though with narrow aisles. But the variety they have is extensive.

One place for all Indian food items and also fresh fish and meat is available here. The crabs here are really good quality. Even cooking utensils.like clay pots and other Indian specials are available at reasonable price.

Monthly twice I am going there for shopping. Right place to buy southindian veggies. Crab and meat is also available. Not much expensive. Not a spacious shop but still very good maintenance. Overall very good place for south indian shoppers. Try to avoid to go on weekends.  Too much crowd on weekend eves.

The worst place to go for groceries. During the pandemic, they are letting unlimited customers. Shopping card has never been sanitized. Staffs are very rude to the elderly people. The staff never are given away contact numbers for owners of this place. I would never recommend this place.

The cashiers didn't wear mask.they are serving customers without a mask.
I am going to call health Canada to inform them they are not following the guidelines

I have never seen such a rude store in Canada which treats the Customers very badly. I bought certain stuffs that day and when I took it to use the same day I seen it was spoilt. So when I called to complain about the stuffs i bought, the particular lady who was there wasn't ready to listen to me and she hanged up on me. Such a rude lady she is and when I redialed to speak no one answered. During these time the workers of Leela should be most helpful for the buyers who come and they should be neat as well. Where I don't see this Leela supermarket. The worst store and the worst service.

Check your receipts, cashier is super fishy. No pun intended. This incident was with one cashier.
Prices on stickers didnt match the scanned price. I confronted her, she said she'll match the price on the sticker, however I checked the bill, it wasn't. Also another item was billed wrong. Had to go back. She was rude, lied, didn't want to correct the problem, eventhough her colleagues said to.
Absolutely no care for customers.

Love the place but Need little more clean and neat.

Hey Sri Lankans! Here the place for you. What ever you missing from your back home. Everything from sri lanka in one place.

This is a family bussines run very efficiently. They sell fresh vegitable, sea food, meat and groceries at very reasonable price. They provide very good customer service. The place is so good if you visit them once you will go there for ever.

Nice place to buy fresh vegetables spices and biscuits. Great variety of shampoo and soaps. I will not buy fish or meat from here. A bit of a bad smell around the meat section.

Good place to buy South Indian groceries and they have many kinds of spinach which is even sometimes rare to get back in India all the time. The veggies are super fresh, only I complain I have is there other items than the veggies are not competitive, they are bit more than what we pay for the same at Walmart or other stores. It also as a seafood section for many kinds of fish we do get back in India from Indian Ocean.

Customer infront of me charged 6.99 for a fish and I was charged the same for 7.99. They said price just changed. Rip Off. Beware if you go there. Watch the price they charge for items. Never ever returning to this store.) rating.

When I want to give a super Sri Lankan dinner to my family, I go to Leela Supernarket. They have everything I need at very reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and always ready to help. I love this store.

Pros: You can find some rare Asian snacks, food items in this place.

Cons: Be aware I have noticed expired foods on the shelf and notified the shop keeping staff. This is bad I noticed 2 different items in 2 different visits.

For South Asians: you will atleast visit once in two months if you visit once.

Finally a new Tamil/South Indian grocery store near highway 410/Queen St. So convenient for people in Caledon and northwest BramptonThey got fish and meat section as well but no halal option. Decent store size but I believe there is a chance of expansion

Very neat and clean store. The staff members treat their customers in a very good manner. Fresh vegetables and fruits are available.

Newly open, Indian and Sri Lankan super market. It is very Clean and tidy. Huge verity of selection for very fresh Vegetables and fishes
