Always a good experience taking our dog here, he actually loves being at the vet. The staff and vets are all very friendly, and I don't feel pressure to do tests and procedures that aren't necessary. Highly recommend.

Wonderful care, great staff and well equipped facility.as someone who's worked in the animal care industry myself, i pick up on more details of how well a clinic is run than the average pet owner. I can say that I am very confident when my dogs are in the hands of the team at legallais vet hospital.

Dr. Aiden is incredibly thorough and intelligent. It is evident he has deep care for the well being of animals and provides options for care. I appreciate how he always is up to date on my dogs previous history and incorporates that knowledge into his assessment. I never feel rushed and I appreciate his patience in explaining things.
The staff are also very friendly, prompt and helpful. I have been going here with both my dogs the past few years and will continue to. I also enjoy being able to send photos via text for the vet to review in special circumstances.

The doctors here are absolutely amazing. Each one that we have seen
has been so kind and professional. Specifically though, Dr. Aidin is one of a kind, he has helped Kiko tremendously, both for his epilepsy and pancreatitis. He truly saved his life. Dr. Aidin is not only informative and professional, but he also genuinely cares for his patients. We changed vets when Kiko’s last vet called him “just a dog” and we couldn’t be happier. Here at LeGaillais the front desk clerks are also great, they are very helpful and on top of everything. Overall I am very grateful for the LeGaillais team.

I’ve been taking my Doberman to LeGallais from the first day I got him. He is now almost 3 and I can’t ask for a better Veterinary to take him to. All the doctors he’s seen has been so patient and understanding. The staff is amazing with him. He gets very bad anxiety when going to the vet and with them knowing this they always make sure that they get through his appointments in a reasonable amount of time so he’s not too stressed. I can’t stress how important it is for me to have a vet that cares about the care of my animal because they are our babies and we only want the best for them. Highly recommend this vet for anyone looking for a caring and compassionate placed for their animals health.

Me and my family have been going to LeGallais for YEARS. Even when I was a kid this is the only vet I ever remember going to. My family has all moved hours away and we STILL take our pets here. We've had to extraordinary losses within a year and the staff there handled it with so much love and care and sensitivity. They did what they could to help. This was a very painful time and having their support made it that much easier. Thank you for many years of caring for my family.

I recently moved to Aurora and needed a new Vet for my 20yr old cat. I am so happy with them. We seen Dr. Cathy a couple of times and she was awesome. Patient and knowledgeable. The Admin staff are A+ and the clinic space looks new and is well-appointed.

Dr. Doug and his staff are absolutely the most dedicated and most caring folks that I have ever dealt with. Dr Doug has gone above and beyond to help my two cats, two bunnies and my puppy. He is truly a gem and his staff and fellow vets are also great with follow up calls etc. I live in Keswick and happily drive to Aurora with my fur babies as I know that they will get the best possible care. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Doug is incredibly down to earth and very caring. Always does what is best for me and my family.

I know LeGallais Veterinary hospital is not the cheapest, but I can absolutely recommend Dr. Doug and this clinic. You can see how much the staff loves animales when you walk in with your pet or when they handle them. Dr. Doug has helped my family and I getting through some really tough times with our dogs (one with Lou Gehrig's disease and one with bone cancer) and even called late at night to check in with us to see how they were doing. Our cats have luckily not been sick (knock on wood), but I know they would always be in great hands here.

My family has been going to LeGallais for years and they have always been the best of the best. Dr. Doug knows his stuff and always gave us such an amazing experience in the hard times of having a sick pet.
Recently I have gotten married and now have my own dogs and Dr. Aidin Shojaeetabrizi was the most professional and kind veterinarian, he made for such a great experience for my babies first time at the vet. Everyone here has a lot of experience and they put the care for your animal first.

I wish my family doctor was at least half as attentive, caring, and knowledgeable as Dr. Doug! We are so lucky to bring our fur baby to this vet clinic, and extremely thankful for the amount of attention and care our little one gets here. The service is never rushed, all questions are answered in great details, and staff is super friendly! Thank you for being awesome!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Janice Hung! I was referred to her by a friend when I adopted an injured dog. Her care is thorough, gentle and effective, but her communication is really special. I always feel like I'm making well educated decisions about my pets, thanks to her. I have now brought both my cats over into her care as well.

The vet techs, assistants, and admin staff are incredibly organized and just so lovely to deal with. The clinic is always incredibly clean and inviting. Thank you all so much!

Our experiences with Dr. Doug Legallais have been absolutely great since we first came to the clinic last fall. Our basset hound, while very laid back and confident generally, has unfortunately developed a strong fear of going to the vet due to bad experiences at other clinics in the past.

Dr. Legallais is so compassionate and patient with our dog, and you can really see that above all else he cares about her well being. We really appreciate all the time he has taken with us to help make sure we feel comfortable, and that our dog feels more at ease during visits. We are very happy with our experiences at the LeGallais Veterinary Hospital, and would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a vet that genuinely cares as much about your pet as you do!

The best vet you could ask for! Dr. Doug is phenomenal! He takes his time, is patient and really loves your fur babies. My husband has been seeing doug for maybe 10 years, I brought my cat, and now our new fur baby! Nothing but 5 stars! The office is super clean, staff are very caring and accommodating!

Only came here once during a time of need for a 4 legged friend and the staff were very caring.

I still take our dog here it is very clean and new, the staff are nice, however since they moved to this new location, my dog never gets to see Dr Doug. Who is amazing, and it seems like there is always a new vet, and they only stay for a short time and then they move. I do find this very frustrating, especially because my dog goes there on regular 6mt visits because of medications, he is on.

My dog loves it there. He gets excited when we pull up to the vet and starts wagging his tail. The staff are very sweet and you can tell they love what they do. The facilities are very clean. On display are the thank you cards from so many owners and patients. I highly recommend this vet.

There are not enough good things that we can say about this Vet. Prior to bringing our Wheaton Terrier to them for a cyst on her back we were very "anti-vet" and tired of getting hosed. Dr Doug (the owner) ALWAYS makes sure that each procedure is explained and lets you decide if you want to do a procedure; unless it is mandatory for the animals well-being then he will let you know it is not optional but he makes sure you completely understand why. He has a network of veterinarians he interfaces with across North America and if he wants another opinion on a complex x-ray or report he is happy to tap into that network for consultation. That is in no way an indication of a lack of experience or knowledge rather a reflection on his desire to ensure your pet gets the absolute best care. "I'd rather be certain in this case than waste your money on other tests and bye the way I am going to absorb the cost of this referral. " This is a man you can trust completely with the care of your furry friends.

He is very humble and so kind with the animals. When we brought our Giant Schnauzer in with a bleeding toe you could tell by the way he got on the dogs level and petted him that this man truly loves animals. Being a Vet is not what Dr. Doug does it is who he is. As a small boy I read all of James Herriot's books (A famous country Vet in the UK) and Dr. Doug is the living embodiment of James Herriot. Just so kind. His Dad was a Vet and now he is too; again not what he does but rather who he is.

As for the odd negative review I have a really hard time understanding how anyone who has spoken to Dr. Doug would have anything other than admiration for this Vet and his practice. Not everyone is as over the top wonderful as Doug so if there is any issue at all just ask to speak to him. He likely will not be available but he WILL call you back and discuss any concerns you have because he truly cares for your pets as though they were his own. Like I said just not enough good words for this Vet!

I am so happy with the service at this vet hospital. Dr. Doug is really amazing, he does not rush and really takes his time. He is supportive and offers excellent advice. He genuinely cares and I could not be happier to have my dog cared for by Dr. Doug and his team.

Used to love this place. But our vet moved and new one is all about the money and doing tests. When wasn’t able to explain why we need one test she simply offered another, and other and other. At the end told me they issue may be resolved if I buy some food from them
, like for real. Then informed me she already fed my dog canned food without my consent. On the phone I said I’m open to look and even buy some food if it going to help my dog but definitely not consent to feed her at 3 pm out of her food schedule and a can food when she is on the raw. Then told me to wait, went away and never came back. Now It’s 7pm Friday night and I have a dog with crazy non stop diarrhea from can food. Amazing service”. I know they have two more doctors but this was just too much for me. Place is nice and clean, reception and tech very professional. Shame I was recommending this place to all my friends and family.

I have become "Vet Shy" through the years. I end up with huge bills for virtually nothing. My older dog and I were out for a walk yesterday and she was clearly not feeling well. Another dog walker told me how amazing LeGallais was and I came home and booked an appointment. They were amazing, treated my dog so well, and was 100% fair with prices and services. No longer Vet Shy!

Have been with LeGallais for 2 generations of pets, over a decade. They are extremely compassionate and have a true, genuine interest in my pets' well-being. Facilities are kept clean, staff are always welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended!

Just had an appointment with Dr. Doug at Legallais Vet Hospital today. Was so pleased with the experience from start to finish! My family and friends have been bringing all of our pets to this Vet Hospital for years. I have always admired that the staff at this veterinary hospital so obviously love each and every animal they see.

I have been taking all my 3 pets to Dr. Doug for years. Two cats and a dog. He has always handled them gently even if my female cat has attitude, staff is awesome professional and caring. Facility is clean, comfortable, and organized. Most importantly I know and feel I can fully trust their team with my pets, because they are in professional and caring hands.

The best of the best! Look after my animals like their own and sympathize with you when you lose one. Sending cards, writing letters. I love this place.
