Recently leased a new vehicle from Leggat Chevrolet.

The process was amazing. This was the first time I dealt with this dealership, but it won't be the last. My online / email inquiry was answered immediately. I was contacted by Hailey who was a pleasure to deal with. She took the time to explain the leasing process, and went above and beyond the call to find the vehicle I wanted. Her Manager was also involved, and he couldn't have been nicer to deal with. Peter in the Business Office was great. At no time did I feel like I was being pressured, and they found what I wanted, in my budget.

If I could give -5 stars I would. Not sure where to begin.

Yesterday (1/11/2024) I took my 2014 Buick Lacrosse premium in around 10am to get some break work done. I’ll start off by saying it took 2 days for this whole service to happen. Didn’t get a ready for pick up call until 12: 50pm today (1/12/2024)

I arrived for my appointment and Oscar was my advisor - After dropping off my keys I was told there would be a 20 min wait time for the shuttle and was instructed to wait in the coffee room - Hour and a half later the shuttle driver takes me home and along the way he mentions that they can provide uber if the shuttle is unavailable - No one told me that in the 1.5 hrs wasted.

Then around 3: 15 they finally called with a diagnostic to replace both break pads and rotors for front and rear - Quoting me $844.47 for the front and $727.97 for the rear - I did call within the hour to request them to check the break fluid, which ultimately I was charged $149.99 for.

In the end, my $1500 quoted price ended up being a $2000+ bill.

Overall extremely costly and very slow to say the least. As a side note, my regular mechanic just called and said he would’ve done the job for $1250 + tax. Never going to the dealership ever again. Absolute waste in every regard. Plus the “complimentary car wash” which they performed 3 times left scratches. Avoid at all costs.

My truck has been at this dealership for over a year waiting for a new motor to be installed which was initially promised to be a 2 week turn around. Since I’ve been lied to with updates saying 2 weeks more, motor is lost, you’re next on the list blah blah blah. My truck sits in the back of their lot filthy and all 4 tires flat which are now garbage. To think they have employees walking by my truck daily without care is astonishing. I think it’s safe to say my truck is now a write off as it will likely never be right again since my brand new braking system which was replaced days before releasing my truck in their hands are likely seized and what ever issues that may arise after from sitting so long. Good job Leggat!

Last Thursday I was shopping for a car because mine had given me 14 years of service and was finished. So I went to several dealerships looking for a new car and found myself at Leggat Chevrolet Cadillac. The salesman I talked to when I was there was named John and he was excellent. It was clear he was putting me first and listening to my needs before recommending things for me to do. We discussed leasing a car which I decided to do and he talked to me about what my needs were. We found the perfect vehicle in a Chevy Trailblazer SUV. He explained all the pros and cons of leasing and told me all the advantages of leasing that particular vehicle. I made the decision to go ahead and lease the Trailblazer and was able to choose the colour I wanted. He was personable, polite and an excellent person to talk to. After making a decision he took me to Joann’s office.she was the person responsible for filling out all the paperwork, going over the agreement with me, arranging for financing etc. She was extremely knowledgable about all the different things I had to do. She was very pleasant and amiable and very patient with an overly excited older woman who was getting a brand new car. She answered all of my questions in a clear and concise manner and we had a few laughs in between. I left her office feeling I could ask her anything and she would be happy to accommodate my every need.

In summary I had an excellent experience at Leggat Cadillac and Chevy. The lease of a new vehicle was easy, affordable and reassuring for me. I highly recommend this dealership if you’re looking for a new car or SUV or any other kind of vehicle.

On Saturday I returned to the dealership and drove off the lot in my new Red SUV. Thank you to John A. And Joann S.you were both great!

Thank you so much for helping me purchase my new vehicle Leggat. This is the third truck I have bought from this location with the help of Ian Macdonald and Joann Squire. I came with specific needs and both have helps me find the exact vehicle that fits those needs and specific budget. They were quick and very accommodating to my busy schedule. They answer emails and calls prompt and gave very detailed answers to all my questions. Everytime I visit the location they make it relaxing and take care of everything I need. I will continue to go to Ian and Joann for all my car needs in the future and would highly recommend calling or stopping in even if you just have questions about how they can help you!

I bought a Cadillac for Beau in March 2022.
Less than a week later, the car had an in-vehicle sensor light and trunk failure, and it was a continual iteration, and the bigger problem was that my Cadillac stopped on the highway while driving last January.
The car repairer said the entire engine had to be replaced, which was a month long. And I bought a rubber mat when I bought a car. But it has not yet been received.
It's a nine-month wait.
I'm using a rental car.
I heard the engine hasn't arrived yet.
Is that true?
The person in charge has not responded to this.
I need you to take a quick action.
And I want to hear the supervisor's opinion on this. I sent an e-mail to Beau but he didn't reply.
How long do I have to wait?

Five years I was looking for an electric car and went to Leggat to look around and I went home owning a Chevrolet Volt. Last weekend they reached out to me again to come and see the new Bolt and guess what I have a NEW car, they are so professional, friendly and willing to answer any question, I am super happy to find people that help you through the process of a big purchase like this.

I highly recommend Leggat sales team and the service department that was looking after my Chevy Volt 2018 for the last 5 years.

Stanley called me to test drive Cadillac XT4 when I come in for an oil change of my Mercedes Benz and my response was I will never drive any other car but Mercedes. Stanley manage to convince me and I said okay. Stanley went above and beyond for me, he was very patient in answering all my questions. He explains in details everything about the car that I end up giving in and I bout the car. Stanley deserves award of the year for changing a mind like mine.
Michael went all out for me making sure he got the lowest possible interest rate on the car for me. He fought tooth and nails securing about 5% interest rate for that I was wooed.
Michael also deserved an award of excellent performance for a work well done.

My name is Chacko John and recently I have purchased a Cadillac XT 5 from Leggat Burlington. One of the critical factor of purchasing a car is mainly the people working there and I have to admit, John Amfilochiadis from sales department was really helpful, so I didn’t even check properly the car I purchased. Later I realized that there is some technical issue but the service department ensured to fix it without any inconvenience to me. They have ensured to give me a replacement car and the follow up after the car is fixed was also impressive.

The finance department sorted the required documentations and the next day I could drive off the car. Although Burlington is bit far from where I am staying, I will still go back there for my next car purchase.

The mechanic helped me diagnose my issues immediately eventhough they were about to close. The service manager also came over to ensure that my vehicle would be OK to drive away without worries. Leggat Chevrolet Burlington would not sell me the car I wanted unless I traded in a car. Due to the car shortages was the reasoning. So they wouldn’t sell me the car I picked out. I guess it’s good to be the big fish in town to make these rules up. GM is not advocating that rule. You decide as a consumer if that’s reasonable to you.

While I will say my experience has been very back and forth with Leggats. On one hand they are the go to place for when I need work done on my car. The downside however is I need to double check everything they say they do on my car. Car wash: never happens paid for it twice and still waiting for it to actually happen. Tire change: don't connect sensors. Battery test: doesn't happen until you ask about it when they return your car to you. This comes also with the reassurance that I was told today that it is not out of the norm to keep your car for two weeks before looking at it. Overall it has been frustrating to always need to go back to ask about work done. The techs are very knowledgeable but their organization makes the experience upsetting every time I leave.

Paul Calvert at Leggat Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC in Burlington is the friendliest, most helpful person I've had the pleasure of purchasing my vehicle from. The entire store is clean and well presented and the staff is very pleasant, friendly and always smiling. We purchased our car online without seeing it and everything Paul told us about the car is on key. He sat in the car with us and showed us the various settings and how to use it. He was very patient because if we got it wrong or didn't understand something, he patiently had us redo it until we were comfortable with the settings and using the various devices.

Buying is easy.everybody comes out for the fireworks.although they claim getting a refund was easy and guaranteed, attaining it was difficult. After calling the dealership many times including the sales agent, nobody, and I repeat, absolutely nobody called us back.we had to go into the dealership to address the issue. We are still here and it's been over an hour.

Not impressed at all with the Sales team here, specifically Tim who failed to get back to me on 2 separate occasions. Once was a lack in responding to purchasing a vehicle and the second was getting back to me with a trade-in evaluation.

I happily took my business elsewhere and won’t be recommending anyone I know here when it comes to Sales

[Disappointing] My Partner and I just stopped this evening looking for a third car. We arrived looking for a summer (fun car) but we eyed an SUV instead. We noticed at least two sales representatives and not one even introduced themselves or was willing to assist us. Maybe, we weren’t dressed to their expectations. One sales person looked us up and down like we should leave and that’s exactly what we did. Very sad, we will keep looking but not any Leggat operated establishments.

Would never recommend this place to anyone. I don’t know what kind of show these guys are running but they are shady. We booked an appointment to see a car and when we got there the car wasn’t there. We went back two days later and drove the car, then when we went in to buy it he (Tim Murphy) said the car we inquired about sold weeks ago and the car we drove is the same car just $4000 more expensive.
Interesting that this car sold weeks ago when it was only listed on Auto Trader 3 days ago…
He blamed it on Auto Trader but the listing is still on their website. We also looked into this more and they have doubles of a lot of cars, they get people in thinking they are test driving a certain car and then they put them in the same but more expensive car and don’t even tell them until it’s time to sit down and pay. They don’t even have half the cars that are on their website. If I could give them 0 stars I would

Tres Beau!

My wife and I were looking to get a used, small SUV and went to Leggat Chevrolet in Burlington to look at a Chevy Equinox I saw on Auto Trader. We were wandering around the lot and Beau Cormier came out to check on us. He said the Equinox just sold but he offered to show us a few other vehicles. He let us drive a Cruze and showed us a Terrain. The 2015 Terrain was more than we wanted to spend but it was virtually brand new with only 33K km! We had some concerns about the Terrain since it was a smokers car. Beau assured us that he would do whatever necessary to get the smell out and fix some minor scuffs on the body. We also told Beau that we needed the car ready for use within a few days for some people/cargo hauling. Beau came through without fail! The car looked and smelled great, we had it ready on time as promised and we had a great time dealing with Beau and the dealership. Beau was very funny, easy going and he made the whole process effortless. He delivered everything he promised!

Had an appointment BOOKED to view a vehicle. Showed up and found out they sold it to someone who " just showed up " before us. Should have told them there was someone booked in to view the car but they sold it from out under us just to get a quick sale. Found the same vehicle but even better at a different dealership the same day and received tremendous service. We will not bring our business back to Leggats dealerships.

Mostly come here for convenience, staff is often rude or not aware of what is going on. Last visit the shuttle driver missed me twice and I had to wait two hours to get to work and in today's visit I was welcomed by a gentleman with "I don't have time for you right now there is way too many people in front of you" when I was just going to inquire who to speak to in regards to my appointment. Will say that Crawford is a pleasure to deal with though.

They tried to change the terms of my deal. They lied to Honda financial services and my payments started 9 days ahead of receiving the car. DO NOT GO! Stereotypical car salesman.

Well where do I start. I have absolutely no reason to lie or stretch the truth.

A month ago my wife and I visited the dealership and placed an offer in on a white 2018 Cadillac XTS we seen in the Auto trader, we could not come to an agreement on price. I have zero issues with our offer being turned down, so I thanked the sales person Sean Charles for his time, and told him it was nice to meet you. Everything was very professional that day.

Well.fast forward a month. Life got busy for us and we had not purchased yet. I went back on the Auto trader website Saturday 27th and found they had dropped the price to $38570. My original offer was $38000.

I contacted Sean Charles via email and asked if my original offer would purchase that same car.couple back and forth emails, then I had him call my cell. I told him. I don't think I can make it in today, this was about 3: 45 pm. Sean Charles then told me I could use my credit card over the phone for the deposit. I was not comfortable with that as I wanted to inspect the paint a bit more. I told him I will try and make it in. Sean Charles then told me "this deal is only good for today" WELL. I was at my father in laws 80th birthday party, and a 25 min drive away. Me the dummy fell for his line. "this deal is only good for today".

So, I told the 40 or so people at the party.we will be back in less then 2 hours.just have to make a quick purchase. A car.

I arrived and inspected the car for about 5-10 mins.all good.this is where things take a real bad turn. The papers I thought I would be signing was a bill of sale.not so.after I signed an agreement to purchase at $38000 Sean Charles said he had to see Ian MacDonald (manager) run it by him.

I thought that was really strange.run it by him? We had a deal.a deal that was good for today.

So, Sean Charles comes back. I was shocked, no deal.the deal we talked about, not only over emails.but on the phone. I'm a no games kind of person and 100% honest. I truly thought I was dealing with the same.

So I'm not sure if the used car manger (Ian MacDonald) knew what Sean Charles was up to or not, all I know is that for $570 they completely wasted my time.with that one big lie.

I'm sure someone from Leggat will comment on this review saying I misinterpreted what Sean was saying. NOT SO. He 100% lied to me and my wife. We believed we were purchasing the car for $38000.

MY father once told me. If your talking to a car sales person and their lips are moving, most likely they're lying.

If you do end up going to Leggat. PLEASE do not use Sean Charles as your sales person.

And Sean please don't waste peoples time with your lies!

I don't like salespeople.their stubborn and pushy methods and relentless nagging. However, if it wasn't for their wonderful salesman, John Pacheco - I would, probably, never have bought the car I am driving now. He was professional, knowledgeable and very respectful. If anyone wants to buy a GM car in Burlington and area, go to see him!
John is an old-fashioned gentleman and made us feel very comfortable during the whole process. I was able to take home the car for a weekend to try it, he arranged a good deal for my trade-in and did everything to ease the stress. When the winter was coming I just sent him a message asking about snow tires. In no time I sent me the best quote for winter tires and arranged the service appointment. Once again: John Pacheco is the man, go see him!

Leggat is the best dealership. Period.
Personal and professional attention at every step of the process. If it’s a Chevy vehicle (or any affiliate brand) you’re after, this should be your first - and last - stop!

Awful sales experience. 4 hour long story short. Ended up trading in my GMC terrain and buying a Hyundai Sonata sport. Hyundai met my negotiate price cap without negotiatiation and with the first offer the manager came to great me.

The manager at GMC never came out and she went back 4 times with little improvment and offered me half for my used vehicle trade in that anywhere else did.shows me they know what their cars are worth.or how they try to screw people over. Left crying and ended up feeling so well taken care of at Hyundai. Bought a new car in 1 hour.

Only been there once, but it seemed nice, and they took care of my warranty work on my truck with no issues. They also seem to sell breakfast all day so that's a bonus

Good local car dealership, with a nice inventory / selection of new and used cars. Purchased my previous car and leased the last car from them. Generally speaking, it was and it is a good experience. There were occasionally small issues related to customer service like forgetting to return my calls or forgetting that my car was dropped off for repair.but they will work on fixing this issue to the best of their ability. Service Manager (Mark) really nice guy, will work with you to solve your issues, whether over the phone or in person.

I purchased a brand new 60K dollar Camaro in FEB 2018. Leggat took care of the licencing fees and got me new plates. What they didn't tell me is they only paid for 4 months for my sticker. I assumed they had purchased me stickers to at least may 2019 which was not true. I found out the hard way today and i now have a $110 fine. I haven't even had the car for 12 months and i have to go pay for the rest of 2019 until may and another sticker for 2020. This is very annoying and not very convenient. If someone purchases a vehicle and there is only a new months left on their sticker renewal pony up and pay for the 2 year sticker. Not very happy.
