Liked it so much we went back the next day. Legit Brussels style waffles outside of Belgium, a very rare find.

Very lekker authentic waffles! I was transported back to Brussels The staff were so amazing, friendly and spoke Dutch with us! We also got chocolate boxes for friends and family for Christmas, can't wait to enjoy them! ️

If you like waffle, Lekker is the place to go. Beautifully designed, friendly staff and oh boy, good 'ol amazing waffles cooked to perfection, topped with a variety of fresh fruits and fancy Belgian chocolates and sauces for any taste that you may crave!
The waffle could be topped with quality ice cream and with the option to add whipped cream!
They have a nice patio, during summer of course.
You can enjoy your waffle with a variety of teas, coffees, and hot chocolate
Beyond waffle, Lekker also offer a variety of chocolates.
A newly renovated shop in the historic Kensington market beautifully compliments the classic old and modern world!

Delicious Belgian waffles and lattes were good too. Good service but disappointed that they don’t serve tap water with dishes as they only serve bottled water for purchase. Overall would recommend trying their waffles.

The liege waffle is sooo good! I recommend getting it the traditional way, plain and dusted with powdered sugar. Yummy! I have been here several times (I can't seem to walk past it without buying a waffle). I love the place, but they never seem to bring my coffee before the waffle. In order to eat the waffle fresh and hot, I have to eat it without an accompanied coffee. Not ideal. But all in all, I will never stop coming here, despite the awkward food-drink timing.

The area where it is located looks shady and dangerous, especially after dark but the cafe itself is nice and welcoming. Staff are friendly. Food is served pretty quickly. Waffles are pretty sweet on their own and toppings are available to make it even sweeter. If you don't have a major case of sweet tooth, it might not be for you

I loved the waffle desserts here. They were so tasty. Perfectly cooked with awesome toppings. This would be a great spot for dessert on a date or with friends. Great sizes to split if not too hungry, but not overwhelmingly large to have on your own. I can’t handle when desserts are too sweet, but the Lekker was perfect for me.

I'm not a big of a dessert person but I loved the waffles soooooo much! We will definitely go back

Food coma incoming! Absolutely amazing waffles! My friend and I did build your own waffles and I got the Biscoff spread. It was my firs time trying it out and I loved it! I didn't expect them to be as heavy as they were which was amazing because we ended up staying till closing just waiting for them to settle LMAO! I will be back as it was a great treat and it rounded off an amazing night. Service is also fast and good. I hadn't tried Biscoff before and they gave me a little spoon to try it out before ordering which I appreciated.

This sweet spot is a go-to of mine! They have the friendliest staff, beautiful seating (indoor and outdoor), and truly delicious authentic Belgian waffles I genuinely love everything on the menu and highly recommend you check this place out for a nice time in Kensington! PS: their milkshakes are top tier!

Simply the best waffles in Canada. Years later and the quality is still exceptional. Ordered a strawberry milkshake and it was great too!

We had the classic Belgium chocolate waffle. We found the shop just by chance when roaming around the Kensington Market. It is a very cosy shop with very cute interiors. They have, both, inside and outside seating. The staff were friendly and sweet. They gave us a new waffle type they were trying out. It was good. Hope it makes it to their main menu.

One of the most delicious things I’ve ever had. So good you kind of wish you didn’t discover it. Had the Berry Ruby, the first of what imagine will be many.

Went here for an impromptu Saturday morning breakfast with my Bestie and I must say I was pleasantly suprised. I had never had savoury and sweet mix with waffles and boy oh boy let me tell you it was a culinary experience. Every bite was filled with tantalizing tastes and flavours, some more sweet and some bites more salty but each bite was equally good. They also have amazing coffee!
