Wouldn’t recommend shopping or working here at all. I remember going in for a job interview as a uni student after the owner reached out to me through a job search site. The owner interviewing me was quite rude honestly and unprofessional, constantly talking badly about all her previous employees and how they didn’t meet her (likely ridiculous) demands and saying I better not be like them if I were to get hired. This gave me serious red flags and I figured it wasn’t worth the headache for a min wage job.

I’ve been in the shop a few times as a customer before browsing the inventory and to be honest most of the stuff is overpriced and not the best quality. You’re likely to find better things at Zara or the Bay.

TLDR; DO NOT SHOP FROM HERE
This store can explain why most people avoid shopping and supporting small businesses, as you can see in most of their other reviews, they sell you defective products and not return or exchange it in the name of final sale. When I asked them why would you even put defective product for sale their respond was some costumer buy it and fix it themselves. Their whole business model is based on deceiving their costumers and sell them damaged products. They did not even let me see the product before they bag it and said they checked it themselves and it was good. Would recommend you to stay away from this store.

I worked at this store’s location on Queen Street West when I was 19 years old as a student trying to make some summer money between my first two years of university. I was pulled into the office in the back where the owner told me that I needed to wear makeup in order to work at her store. I came in for my shift the next day and was fired after three hours. I worked a total of 11 hours before I was fired with no reason. Part of my “duties” (not told to me when I started) were to go to Starbucks and get the store manager coffee. For a woman-owned business, treating employees (teenagers) in such a predatory, exploitative, and humiliating way is a practice that should be condemned.

My wife always goes there to buy clothes, specially after pandemic we alway want to support small businesses, but oh boy this store with this kinda owner should of closed down long time ago, she has a worst attitude and horrible customer service. Also personally I think she even is a worst human being I ever met, I don’t think anybody will treat customers the way she dose, she is rude and unethical, my wife would never give her business anymore.

The salesperson was terrible, she gave me attitude for not trying on a very revealing dress (that I said I wouldn’t try on because there’s no mirrors in individual fitting rooms, only one large mirror outside), and she rudely said I’m not 60 or 70, and should try it on. And then later came back to us full of attitude saying why are we looking at stuff if we’re not trying it on (which we were going to, but were still looking). Best way I could describe this lady is as a b****. And the stuff here are ridiculously expensive for mostly mediocre quality clothes. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Extremely rude associates. Won’t even step thete again. It was definitely my worst experience ever!

A part of me feels bad leaving a review for a store I only happened to walked into. Im usually not the person to feel so compelled to even leave a review. But an employee there was probably the worst human I’ve ever met. And even that is doing it justice….

A person like that really needs to see a therapist or something that’ll make her somewhat remotely bareable to be around.

I could make comments about her Customer service skills or whatnot but tbh that’s not the point I’m getting across. The older lady that works there is genuinely a vile and disgusting human it makes me laugh

Don’t buy from this store! They are scam! I had a credit of $270! When I came back with the picture of it they told me we need a royal recipe! On the time of purchase I’ve been told they don’t need.

They sell clothes that are lower quality than H&M or Zara at high end price. Not worth spending your money, and the customer service is closer to a scam.

I bought a long formal dress with sequins across the bust for my brother's wedding. The dress was on sale & they steamed it for me before I left the store. Being that it was freshly steamed, I decided not to put it in a garment bag, but chose instead to carry it out draped over my arms. About 2 seconds out of the store, and under the brighter lights of the mall, I could see lots and lots of tiny "pulls" with some sequins dangling and a ton of loose threads. I had not even been out of the store for 1 minute, when I immediately turned on my heel & headed back inside. Their response was they could not help me. I asked for a discount considering I would now have to have pay to have this brand new dress repaired. Their response was that it was already "on sale" and would not help me neither by discount or return. On sale does not mean it should be defective. If there are pulls & loose sequins it should be noted and the customer told it is a damaged product and as such is a "final sale". Well, what can I say? I will never, ever give them a penny of my money again and I vowed to write this review so that others can be forewarned.

Bought a top from this shop and discovered a flaw in it a few days later. I went into the shop hoping to exchange the item, but the women working there refused to help me accusing me of damaging the top myself and told me, “if I couldn’t afford the shirt, I shouldn’t have bought” which was quite impressive since my ability to afford the item was not actually the issue. Rude, highly insulting staff, and poor-quality items.

My body has really changed since the pandemic and I basically needed a wardrobe overhaul. I went to this store because I was told they had it all. The sales person HELPED ME SO MUCH! She was totally supportive, understood what I needed and gave me style tips and tricks for my new figure. My look is updated and I now feel beautiful, sexy and cool. I now look fabulous in front of the computer and walking my dog with my kids. My bounce in my step is back! I didn’t realize how much I needed this. Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU!

Very RUDE customer service at Bayview Village. Today I asked one of two assistants who worked at the store to give me my size of the dress that I wanted to to try it. She (Sylvia) basically ignored me and made herself busy with putting back the dresses. She did not care about the customer's priority. Surprisingly when I asked her why she was not coming to serve me she did not even say anything. She did not even apologize.

I had a wonderful experience at this boutique. The manager assisted me and was very helpful. She knew her fashion and helped to me to be a little more exciting. I will return again to shop.

I decided to read some reviews about the store and was very surprised to see that this "woman" is still working in the store after so many years. I came here with my daughter to buy a graduation dress about 4 years ago. The manger/owner not sure who she is, was extremely rude, she actually yelled at us when I asked her some questions. My daughter and I were absolutely shocked, I have never experienced such service before in my life. She should be fired, I can't believe that the store has so many negative reviews and she is still there. She should be working somewhere at a food market selling vegetables. No class what's so ever, wrong business to be in. What an embarrassment to such a high class mall. This creature should be working at a Flea Market not Bayview Village. Learn some basic human manners. Absolutely speechless.

Terrible customer service. They do not know how to speak to customers in a respectful manner. Their customer service is below average. I shop at many retail stores, everywhere from Holt Renfrew to the thrift stores on Queen Street, and this store has by far the worst management and customer service. I highly discourage you from stepping into their store.

It was a wonderful experience. There are clothes for everyone taste in here. There was one young lady in there I cant remember her name I am so sorry. But she was so helpful she help my wife with dresses and tips on how to wear them or tack them to look different very helpful. The most important thing is the price its reasonable price and right now there is a sale going on so it's even cheaper.

The staff was very rude and they were laughing at my wife's friend because She looked fat in a dress don't recommend coming here
