Great boat buying experience!

We purchased a new Chaparral boat. Dave, our salesman, was excellent. He really knows boats, gave us excellent advice. He was always available to answer our questions. We were able to chat with Daryl the mechanic about our motor options, thank you Daryl.

Great marina that helped me out with my engine went I broke down. They were the ones that said yes come here and we'll try to fix the problem.

I don't often take the time to write a review. Neither do I take the time to mention a specific person in them. But this person is beyond helpful and knowledgeable and and and! Timmy McNamee! I bought an x23 from her 7 years ago. Never lost contact. Year after year, spring and fall after srping and fall, she keeps in touch, follows up on how I love my boat. She does deliver it and pick it up from my water plant more than often!
She is not a sales person. She is a friend. That is how you build a long term relationship, friendship and loyal customers. Why would I bring my business anywhere else?
I have options closer to home, by a lot. But I keep my business there only because of her. Even though my boat is off warranty now.

As the leaves start turning, we are looking fondly back at our summer, which was made even more special by Timmy McNamee. Timmy is a one of a kind wakesurf coach - cool, calm and collected. Three of us, my partner in life and best bud, had the pleasure of benefitting from her stellar skill sets during three half-day private lessons over the course of the summer. She adapted her coaching style to our individual skills and learning styles, which allowed all of us to progress significantly. The experience we had on board her new Mastercraft was most enjoyable. Her and Mark were so professional and fun.

She taught us not only how to surf, but also taught us so much about wakesurf boats, which is so important to enjoy this super fun sport. Her extensive knowledge of wakesurf boats, having been on board and driven most makes and models, makes her a treasure trove of information. With this new-found knowledge, our understanding of the limitation of our friends’ current boat increased. Timmy provided top-notch advice on what new boat to consider. Her advice was authentic, honest, and realistic. I, on behalf of my crew would highly recommend Timmy's services for both an incredible wakesurf experience and purchase of boat. Looking forward to next season!

Unfortunately didn't even get a chance to deal with them. We drove to Portland as lens cove came highly recommended by a trusted relative. But it was closed on a Wednesday at 11am due to no salesmen. Anyways we took one of the salesman card (Dave) and I phoned the following week explaining what we were looking for on a pontoon. He took all our information and never heard back. I followed up 2 days later and he said he has been very busy. Ok. I understand I followed back a week later and at this time there was no answer. I totally understand now a days we are all busy but from a customer perspective this is a very poorly way of treating potential new costumers. Anyways we proceeded with a purchase of a new pontoon boat but not from lens!

Great experience end-to-end, from selecting the right boat with the right options for us, to a very informative and instructional lake test, and follow-up to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time on the lake. Everyone I met at Len's Cove was pleasant and helpful.

A full service marina and marine sales outlet. On location cabins can be rented. The place is very well managed by Sean and his crew.

I phoned looking for parts and the secretary didn't know up from down and it was just a joke she didn't even ask for.my name and number so the parts department could phone.when they got back itbwas a total waste of time not impressed one bit

I've bought a boat here years ago and have continued to go there fir parts etc.as it's close by. Always friendly knowledgeable staff. I guess sticker shock is the new norm everywhere, and paying over $100 for 2 bottles of lower unit oil and a bottle of 2 stroke oil once more demonstrated that. I'm sure that is what I would have payed at any marina, but proves that boating is an expensive hobby.

All staff were there to greet us on pick up day. Dave was amazing to work with, Megan was incredibly helpful and keep us up to date, Barb was great and Sean was a pleasure to meet and genuinely was happy with the feedback we provided about his YouTube videos. Go buy a boat from these folks, you will not regret the experience.

When we decided to upgrade our ski boat, we originally called Sean in the fall of 2021 regarding a used boat, but in the end decided to go with a new 2022 Chaparral 23ft and are glad we did. Chaparral pricing is very straightforward, no negotiation required.their accessories and upgrades are not crazy expensive like some of the other brands, so we ended up getting it fully loaded. Between the time we signed the deal, but before production, Chaparral had increased the price of the 2022 boats because of increased pricing in the supply chain that hit worldwide. Obviously this was not good news for us, and we were pretty upset that we had signed a purchase agreement and then the price increased. We spoke with Sean and he was professional, and apologetic and shared all the support from the factory, proving there was no additional profit being made, and also offered us the ability to back out of the deal. We decided it was still a good price and was reflective of what was happening in the market.
Sean was able to give us a timeline of build date, and throughout the process, we were sent emails from his team, and online access to track production stage of the boat. When the boat was finished and arrived at the marina, they sent pictures for us to see it, and scheduled the water test and possession date. Everything was managed efficiently and the paperwork took minimal time to complete - and now we are happily on the water with our new boat. Everyone loves it, and we are happy we chose Len's Cove for our purchase.

Excellent buying experience for the 2nd time. Its all about customer service and they know how it's done. Good communication from the initial purchase through to the boat test and acceptance. Would recommend anyone looking at buying a boat.

We purchased our used Chaparral from Dave in January and did the lake test in April 2021. The organization of all the steps was done very well by all the staff involved. We were informed early of what was going to happen, what we needed to do and what to expect. All worked out very well. We then enjoyed a great summer on the boat.

I recently purchased Sea Ray 340 from Len’s Cove. Sean, Dave, Megan and the entire sales/administration/service team went above and beyond to make the sales process as smooth as possible. Outstanding structured sales process being adopted by Len’s Cove supported by automated emails and educational/guiding videos explaining every bit of the process. We bought a boat held on consignment in July 2021. It was our first time buying a boat so we didn't really know what we were doing. Our experience with Len's Cove was not completely terrible, but was definitely below expectations.

First of all, Toby, who took us on our lake test, was excellent and all we could have hoped for and more. He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and was just an all around really good guy. He taught us more about the boat than we could have figured out on our own.

Other than Toby, our experience with Len's Cove was negative for the following reasons:
1. The salesman misrepresented what the $500 deposit actually entailed. He stated the deposit was to "hold the boat before our lake test", however, after paying the deposit we received an email that we had entered a binding contract to purchase the boat (good thing we were serious about buying).

2. They said they would clean the boat before we picked it up. We picked up the boat and it was filthy, including dirty toilet, dirty carpets and seats, and a hull that had not been washed.

3. After our lake test, we still needed to secure insurance so we left the boat at the marina for three days. Len's Cove left the cover off the boat at their lot and it poured rain soaking the entire inside so when we picked it up all life jackets and all interior equipment was completely soaked. The engine compartment was full of water.

These are all just a basic courtesy that would have made our experience much better if they would have just been professional and took the couple hours to clean and cover the boat. The deposit part is a warning to other potential buyers that you may be entering a binding contract without full knowledge of what you are getting into. Would definitely not go back when looking for a new boat in a few years.

My experience was great. Sales and support as well. Dave, Megan, Toby and Sean made our family feel welcome.
No small letters or hidden fees. I definitely recommend them.

Took my outboard motor here to get serviced. I asked that they get it in working condition and they told me that it will be many weeks before I get it back, but couldn't give me any kind of time frame. Fine, as long as I get it back and it runs. I dropped off the motor at the beginning of May 2020 and didn't hear back from them for 2 months. When I called to check on it, they had lost track of it in their shop and couldn't give me an update. They eventually found it and told me it needed a new carburetor at the tune of $700. I made the mistake of going with it and the motor ran for about an hour before refusing to start again.

Round two with Lens Cove and this time it's the impeller and stator that need to be replaced, totaling more than $1000 and no definite turn around time. My father in law picked up the motor for me but they didn't give back the gas tank that they requested to diagnose the issue. Called this summer (2021) and of course the tank is lost but I could buy one of their replacements for over $400.

Summer wasted and $700 down the drain for a motor that doesn't run. Not to mention a gas tank assembly half full with fuel that's been lost.

Don't take your boat here or give this place your business. Their service department has zero traceability and their lead times are months in advance. Parts they sell and overpriced. Drive the extra 20 minutes to Canadian Tire and save yourself 50% of your purchase if you can.

Avoid this place like the plague.

I'm very pleased with the excellent service I received throughout the whole buying experience, I was missing a part and they took care of it right away, I actually decided to purchase my boat there after watching all of Sean's how to videos, they are down to earth, easy to understand and informative, thank you to the entire team, Dave, Meg (Toby for the lake test and of course Sean, and on an end note, we just love our new boat!

Had a great boat buying experience with Sean and his group. We are first time boat buyers and had quite a few questions regarding type of boat, interior selections, horsepower, etc. Sean was excellent in professionally handling all of them and guiding us in the right direction. We have had the boat for just over a week and couldn't be happier. Shout out to Meghan and Dave for their help as well!

We recently bought a used boat from Len's Cove and it was a great experience! They walk you through the whole process, and have many helpful videos and tips for purchasing your boat. When we arrived the staff were all very friendly and would go out of their way to help us. We highly recommend anyone to purchase from Len's Cove, especially if it's your first time purchasing a boat!

My daughter Brynn has had several wakebaord and surf lessons with Timmy McNamee. After her first lesson Brynn was able to surf and wakebakrd with ease. Timmy has a lot of coaching experience and her interactions with Brynn have been extremely positive. She's looking forward to many more lessons!

Lens Cove over promises and under delivers. I would never buy a boat from them again, use them for storage or any of their other services. They are completely lost. If you can deal with another marina do so. I wish I had.

If you do go with them inspect your new boat with a fine tooth comb when you get it. They will give you a new boat that is dirty, tarnished, has scratches on it that were caused by their own staff, parts will be missing, parts will be broken and it may not even run when you get it. Mine did not run when I tried to pick it up this spring.

All marina’s are like used car dealers. If you sell your boat to Lens make sure you do some homework first. If they can rip you off and get it for a steel they will. So don’t accept the first offer and sell it yourself if you can.

So disappointed. I had expected so much more!

I had the pleasure of buying a preowned mastercraft X30 from the crew at Lens cove last week, the boat was way above my expectations and the delivery process was timely and very professional. I had the opportunity to water test it and set up the boats surf system for our personal needs. The professionalism and expertise of the dealership was seen from sales to service and I strongly recommend them!

Recently I had a part I needed and went through Len’s to get it. With Covid and supply chain issues this ended up taking a little longer than expected. It would have been a little more frustrating if it wasn’t for Bonnie at Len’s who kept me up to date every step.
