Very disappointing experience!

I visited here for 8 times, paid almost $700, and got a pair of glasses not wearable.

Here is the timeline:

2023.6.30: purchase date.

2023.7.14: first pickup. There are some issues about the lens. It gives me a very narrow clear vision.

2023.7.18: drop off to replace the lens by high definition (HD) lens. I used HD lens for previous two pairs of glasses from other Lenscrafters store, but this time the serviceman did not mention the HD lens on the purchase date.

2023.8.4: second pickup. There is an area of grease. Either the technician or the service do not notice it. There is no QA! Need to drop again to replace lens.

2023.8.19: third pickup.

2023.9.11 and 9.16: visited twice to claim the lens issue. I wear glasses 20+ years. I can tell there must be some problems with the lens but the serviceman insisted everything is good. They asked me to see the doctor to confirm the prescription and also blamed me why I come too late. Actually, my prescription is very stable in the past 10 years. The difference is only 0.25. I got the glasses after 1.5 months from purchase date and how can I meet the 30-day guarantee? !

2023.9.22: doctor confirmed my prescription and Lenscrafters agreed to replace the lenses.

2023.10: got my final glasses. Forgot the exact date.
There is still issue with the lens. But I am really drained.
In late November, I replaced my lens at Costco for only $100+. Costco lens fixed my problem.

I am not a professional and cannot tell what the issue is. But as a consumer with 20+ years glasses experience, I have the ability to identify the correct glasses.

Recommendation:

If you feel there is anything wrong with the glasses, please return it as soon as possible. One round fix and your try-on time will consume the 30-day guarantee period. You will have no chance to return.

Annabelle was amazing! I had a poor online experience and went instore to try to reorder my glasses that were cancelled 10 days post order (conveniently after the Black Friday/Cyber Monday promotion ended)

Price, which they wouldn’t agree to do online, and got me fitted in the frames I had my eye on. She was so helpful and the best customer service I have recieved in quite sometime.

Sachin Sharma was the nicest employee I’ve ever seen in my life, he helped me navigate through the maze of a store and ended up finding me the sunglasses I will wear for the rest of my life. I travelled from deep in Brampton and because of him he made the trip worth while. Appreciate him so much.

Gurman was very helpful, went in there to get glasses tightened, he greeted me instantly, inspected my glasses, and within 5 minutes had them fixed, leaned and returned to me. Fantastic service.

I found the right choice, Mr. Gurman explained different options for my taste and affordability.
It was quick and the pricing is very reasonable for a progressive, vision/ sun glass

Great variety and very friendly staff, staff Gurman went above and beyond to make the selection process easy and quick at the same time. Highly recommend this place for glasses and high end frames.

Alaukik helped me fix my glasses, he was very polite and helpful and made the process smooth.

I appreciate all the help Sachin provided today. As a man who grew up in Jane and Finch. I have never seen a man this polite and have this much patience.

I lost my screws for my FENDI sunglasses has been purchased else where. The lab and sales stuff has been very helpful and friendly to help me to restore a similar screw back to my sunglasses for FREE! And it fits perfectly, just like the original!

The best eye exam I've had over the years I've been doing eye exams. Dr. M. Chiu was very thorough with her exams, explained everything very detailed. Made me feel very comfortable through the entire exam. Highly recommend this place to everyone. She also made sure that lens crafters took care of me right away, no waiting.

I've visited LensCrafters here and there in the past and the service was satisfactory.however, one of the opticians that works at this location, Bharati, has completely changed my mind and turned me into a repeat and loyal customer!

LESCRAFTERS has been my go to for my optical needs for the last few years. I have purchased numerous glasses from them. Service is very good and is very reliable even with insurance related transactions. Shoutout to William and the entire team at Lenscrafters Square one.

Had a really good experience with the folks at this location. They have a decent selection of frames and can accommodate compressed lens if required.

Service was both friendly and timely, including the call-backs for picking up glasses. I was especially happy with Manesha who helped me and my daughter choose our frames.

She made sure my daughter got her glasses before school started and gave me a call as soon as mine were ready. Manesha is extremely easy to work with, detailed, and super helpful overall.

I am very happy I found this location (by chance) and will likely be back in the future.

I found William the sales rep that helped me, to be professional, knowledgeable and understanding to my eye care needs. His uplifting personally also helped me to feel comfortable during my eyeglass fitting. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with him.

All staff at the Lenscrafter's site at Square One were welcoming! Harpreet, our Optician who assisted us was helpful, friendly, efficient, professional. Very pleased with the wrap around service: Eye exam with the Optometrist, Dr. Brady at at Dr. Fong, Dr. Chiu and Accociates, (equally great experience) and then awesome choices, and service for choosing eyeglasses.

I needed my lens screwed back into my frame but other optical stores had long wait times and charged me for it. Then i came here.

I came to this location to get my glasses tightened. The optometrist ended up making my glasses so loose and visibly flimsy that I was unable to wear my glasses. It was very inconvenient since I had to leave town the day after they messed up my glasses so I couldn’t get them fixed for a week.

Leman was very helpful during my time at LensCrafters Square One. She answered all of my questions in great detail and showed me a wide variety of products that were tailored to my style, size, and preference. Definitely would recommend the Square One location for their helpfulness and welcoming atmosphere.

Got prescription sunglasses, asked for as dark as possible. First delivery was awful, I still had to squint while driving because of how useless the tinting was. Then they got me a darker tint, but even though I specifically requested gray, I got some yellow tint, which distorts colors and is not pleasant to look at. They told me that this is the only way they can make it dark. So if you like dark sunglasses - their lab is not capable of that

NO MORE LENSCRAFTERS AT ALL @SqureOne Mall Mississauga Ontario. Used to be vert good. As regular customer been today nd few months back. Staff are very rude n misbehaves. As soon as i entered a lady came to me and asked me if i need any help i said yes. Then I asked tht if u have this sunglasses in black colour she said let me check. As soon as new customer entered she was start helping other customer i was waiting for 5 min no response i told manager n ther team they ware laughing in front of other customers, i feel so bad n very upset. I wont go anymore or wont give them business anymore. Already bought 4 glasses from them. Shared this to my family nd no one is going to this store as we all r regular customer.
