Stopped by for my glasses to be adjusted just before the New Year. Aliya (979879) was fantastic helping me pick a close sporty look to my Ray-Ban everyday glasses. Now I got prescription Ray-Ban sunglasses on the way. Even got the 1/2 off the frames deal.

I have no idea what has happened to lenscrafrers. It has become soooooooo expensive. The eye exam was 145$? The sales people tried to upsale me on everything under the sun. In the end my one pair of glasses would have cost me 650$ hahahaha.
I left and went down the hall in limeridge and got two pairs of glasses, one with tint, for just over 500$. The exam is 95$ at this store. Shop around people!

I bought my glasses at a different eye centre but walked into LensCrafters being the closest eye centre to me and they gladly and efficiently helped me even though I didn’t purchase them there. What wonderful and helpful staff they have at LensCrafters at Limeridge Malll. Next time this will be my choice of an optical centre.

I was looking for Sunglasses for a long time now and my search stopped at the LensCrafters today. The staff at LensCrafter is great. We were greeted by Aman and he is really good. He knows and understands his customers really well. I am very choosy about my glasses and he helped me find the best pair of glasses for me. He is very thorough and specific and know things really well.
I would highly recommend LensCrafters and Aman for all your eyewear.

The service I received at this location was superb from start to finish. Reception was welcoming and professional. The doctor who performed my eye examination was thorough, informative, considerate, and friendly. Everyone at the store who helped me with my lenses and new frames was wonderful. Great selection of eyewear, too.

Haven't see a, doctor in 4 years. To be honest, frame's were loose, my previous place wouldn't even answer the phone. I knew LensCrafters always open. Took care soon as I entered the store. First fixed my loose frames - no charge. Second, showed a new frame that I fell for immediately. I brought it up, not a sales gimmick. Third, introduce me to my new doctor Appointment set for next morning. Store gave me glasses info so I could run it by the wife. Fourth, perfect eye exam, learned so much (past doctor said nothing). Fifth, Store help me size, choose, explained each step and left me blown away on how well I was treated. Approx two weeks and new for this guy

I have never been spoken to in such a way. Went in there and asked a simple question to the blond sales lady. The response and tone from her. "I can't answer that. ". "I already said. " not only unprofessional but also incredibly rude. She spoke down to me and tried to belittle me. My family has been customers of LenseCrafters for years and that was enough to make me never go back. Luckily Pearl Vision was just around the corner.

There’s many frames to choose from. Farah helped me pick the perfect pair. She was very helpful friendly and pleasant. I like that she suggested different options for the frames and type of lenses that I needed.
The 50% off lenses and 30%off frames made it a great time to purchase a new pair of glasses at LensCrafters. Keep up the good work.

Went in to the Limeridge store looking for new frames. I work out of my home office and was looking for more of a "professional look" to my glasses. Chris, at this location, helped me find the frames that suited the look I was going for. This must be the worst LensCrafters
At one time 6 years ago I had a decent experience. But this year just terrible. Understaffed and the staff they do have Is inexperienced. I’ve been so inconvenienced for months. First waiting for my glasses. Then the quality, if you don’t purchase the warranty you’re out of luck after 30 days. Then they did the wrong RX measurements for my sunglasses.
Now they only have a optician 1 day a week and I cannot get my replacement glasses. Beyond frustrating. I will never shop here again.

The experience we had with Christopher was great - his service is the only reason I am giving a 4 star rating. The technology they make their staff use made the experience difficult and was not user friendly at all. Technology for the sake of having it and looking “cool” when it hinders your guests and employees environment and experience is not a plus.

But again the staff we dealt with were outstanding and helpful!

Very friendly service. Came in on a snow day to get my nose pads changed and the expert wasn't in until Saturday to fix them, but they tried anyways and turned out great! Thank you again last time I had to fix my arm and they fixed it no cost, same with the nose pads!

Adele at the Limeridge Mall locations is fabulous. She is very professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. I was able to voice my concerns with my eyes and glasses and she went above and beyond to answer my concerns. She was willing to help ease my concerns suggesting certain frames that would suit my prescription and my face. She cares about the customers vision and their look. I recommend anyone who is looking for eyewear to stop in and ask for Adele for the best customer service and the best eyewear.

My experience in the store was wonderful. I brought in a young girl who was very nervous, she had her eye exam, picked out glasses and was very happy and surprised with how easy it was and how nice the staff was. We both agree that the person named CHRIS, which we found out was the new assistant manager, is someone that comes across as being very professional and informative, but most important has the nicest personality ever. I just want to take an extra moment to thank this individual so much for making me feel comfortable in bringing this young lady there for glasses, she has been in my life since she was two and I always make sure she learns and gets what she needs in life. Chris you made it so much easier for her and I thank you. I hope your employer realizes what an asset you are to your profession and I wish you all the best in your future.

Worst managed store! Zero communication with people in line outside the store. The staff are very very very slow! Please do something about this location as it is run very inefficient. 2 to 3 staff huddled over front counter to try and solve an issue. Waited over an hour just to pick up a pair of glasses and get another pair adjusted.

This store is very disappointing and would never reccomend to anyone! Do not give this store any business as they do not deserve it!

Took two weeks and me calling almost daily get my glasses that I was told would be ready next day, then when I finally got them, they have some sort of sticky stuff on the lenses that I can’t seem to clean off no matter what I use.

Horrible experience! Looking for frames for my wife and myself. Comparing prices with a couple of frames we asked the lady for the model # on a card so we can come back at a later date. But she only offered to hold them for us. I guess they know that they are more expensive than the competition.

My experience was horrible at this location! The only reason I chose this location was because my Optometrist told me to use them and they had my prescription.

The first day I showed up, I spoke with Elaine, who was the only good person I dealt with there. The store did not have an Optician onsite that morning. Despite picking out my frames and providing all of my information, I was advised I would have to come back later to complete my purchase. Elaine was very apologetic about it though.

I purchased a pair of regular glasses and a pair of sunglasses. I had a coupon for 60% off lenses on one pair then the store had a promotion that I would get 40% off my frames and lenses on my second pair.

With frames and lenses and with the discounts I would be getting (essentially getting one pair free with the promotions I had), the total cost worked out to $853! I anticipated that the glasses would be $600 at most as I had the promotions, but nope!

The employee that morning (no clue what her name was) had no sympathy in terms of the cost and told me I needed to pay it. What it sounds like to me is they jack up the prices then offer you a “promotion” so they don’t lose any money.

Needless to say, once I pick up my glasses, I will never use LensCrafters again and I will definitely not recommend them to my friends and family.

I recently purchased glasses here and their systems were down for some reason which was fine. I was assured by the sales associate that they would email me a receipt once they were able to charge my card as they could not go through my benefits and I would have to submit this myself due to their systems being down. This was fine and I asked the sales associate to clarify, that I would indeed get the receipt via email and would not be an issue and I could call and they would send if any errors. I was very hesitant as I paid over $450.00 on my credit card and did not receive a physical receipt. Keeping in mind I have full coverage and I would be reimbursed within a month. A week later they notify me the glasses will not be ready for at least a month or longer! Because of their systems but they were somehow able to charge my credit card.another week later I still do not have a receipt to make my claim through benefits.i call their store while I am away on vacation and am now notified THEY CANNOT send me a receipt via email and I will have to return to the store in which I made the purchase or they can mail it to me. Of course I agree for them to mail it as I am away and unable to go there. This has been the most frustrating experience and I still do not have my glasses and am unable to make a claim to be reimbursed. Not to mention how expensive they are. PLEASE be more transparent with your customers as some people DO NOT have a spare $500 to throw around and wait weeks or months for a receipt in order to get reimbursed by their benefits.

Not happy whatsoever I dont even know where to begin I thought goin to Lenscrafters would be ok considering I bought my previous pair of glasses from the Eastgate location and everything worked out great payed almost $1500 for my glasses and I'm still getting headaches from them and the prescription that they set up for me feels wrong I'm actually wearing my older worn out beat up glasses

Elaine and Max at the Limerage location went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Their sanitation and covid precautions are the most meticulous I have seen, being a nurse I'm hard to impress. All offices and stores should take note on their standards. I love my new Versace and Vouge HD glasses their beautiful and the price can't be beat. 5 stars all around

She was friendly, honest, and very professional. I was also impressed by the standard of sanitation and cleanliness they upheld due to Covid 19. I went to lenscrafters under Ben Lootens recommendation. I never had bought glasses before and have been suffering of headaches related to my eyesight while driving and studying for school. I was intimidated by the whole process and mostly I was intimidated by my lack of confidence that I would look good in glasses and be able to find a pair that fit me well. I was stunned by the improvement in my vision demonstrated in the eye exam and was excited at the idea of seeing clearly and not having to strain and deal with the headaches and short study sessions. The last of my worries were eliminated when the staff in the store casually walked me through the frames and what they think would look great. There was no negative response to me trying on many pairs when they all had to be cleaned. I was very impressed by the precautions made in the store to accommodate the pandemic. The entire experience from the dealings I had with the optometrist, to the store staff and how everything was explained so well to me along the way was all incredibly positive and comfortable. I am now waiting for my glasses to come in from ray-ban and am very excited. Thanks for making an intimidating process simple, straight forward and affordable. Will definitely recommend.

There was a miscommunication about the lenses and I received the wrong product. I was nervous that their would be an issue getting the problem fixed. Every touchpoint in the process to resolve the issue was an excellent experience. I was made to feel that I was important, the issue would be corrected and they were eager to satisfy me with the right product as quickly as possible. I had to immediately tell my friend on the phone how excellent LensCrafters is and how totally awesome the staff at the Limeridge Mall location are. Thank you all very much!

I have given two reviews in 7 years. This is the second. That means my interaction with this company left a lasting and meaningful impression and I felt it necessary.

My advice: Use their delightful optometry service (Spectrum), and take your prescription elsewhere as fast as possible.

Let me explain;

1. My family has ordered 3 pairs of glasses from this location now. Not once have they called any of us to inform us that our products have arrive. They often say “we were just about to call you” even though it had been weeks but the most recent time they just skipped right to “yes they are ready”. Not cool for medically necessary products.

2. Staff at this location are far too chatty and have no urgency behind their work. Throughout our multiple shared experiences at this location we have consistently felt our time was worthless and clearly less valuable than staff. As someone who has worked 60-80 hours a week during the pandemic in the Health Care field, I found this particularly frustrating.

3. When I arrived to pickup my most recent pair (after calling myself to find out if they had arrived) I was told the store would be open for pickup until 6PM but to arrive by 5: 30 just to be safe. I arrived at 4: 20 and was curtly told you come back after 5PM because staff needed a break. I understand people needing a break, but not having one staff member for all critical business functions. This is a glaring staffing or process issue. I returned at 5: 05 and was asked to sit and wait. I waited until about 5: 15 for the staff that was on break to return, then the key staff member immediately turned to discuss complex lens and frame repairs with another customer without even acknowledging me.

Remember, I was here to pickup already purchased product. I then proceeded to wait (perhaps too politely) for 40 minutes before the same staff member was forced to engage with me because he needed to use a piece of machinery a foot away from me. At this point I tell him I just want to leave, and ask what I need to sign. He says I don’t need to sign anything and I’m free to go. The ENTIRE engagement was 30 seconds. You don’t make customers who have given you $700 for a pair of glasses wait 40 minutes just to release them with a product they are happy with.

In summary:

This location needs more staff and a cultural revolution not just of service to customers, but commitment to patients who have medical needs. Not medical wants. My lenses were sunglasses, but I am appalled that anyone who had an urgent need for their lenses would be treated the same way as I.

It should not be a 5 hour process to select, purchase and pickup lenses. COVID-19 has made things tough for everyone, but no other business has operated with this degree of ignorance of the time of others and negligence in customer care policies.

My family, friends, and acquaintances will not be returning to any LensCrafters location.

This store is a disrespect to an established (and to my knowledge respected) brand. Embarrassing and infuriating.

The staff at this location are exceptionally horrendous. Definetly under qualified, rude and slow. This is not based on just one experience however I'll share my most recent one. I had gone in and requested for new glasses since I have insurance on them. In quotation my request to the employee was. "I have insurance on my glasses and I'm here to get new ones, I broke mine. " The employee asks me WHO I AM CLAIMING THEM FOR? I'm so sorry what? Furthermore, she comes back and tells me they don't have my frame in stock anymore, I had asked her if she can check other locations to see if they have them and responds with the same answer *there's none left in stock. " I begin looking for a new frame, once I found a pair I liked I had asked if she can check to see if there's any in the colour black. She comes back with her tablet and says "we have the frame available is this colour (frame in store) and this colour and has the tablet out towards me. As if I can actually see what she's showing me. I literally had to ask her 3 times if the frame was available in black for her to say no. I endrd up leaving and today I went to the location in eastgate and they had the frame and were able to assist me in 15 mins. I wasted a day of work because the slow, under-performing/qualified staff at the Limeridge location could not attempt to make a phone call or two to see if the frames I had were at a different location. Help yourself, don't go to this location.

The staff are great. But the stores machines seem to fail allot then requiring your glases to be sent out to be made with a 7 - 10 day return or now up to 19 days on this latest order. So if you have to wait that long why go here. I go for the 1 hour service. If I'm not getting that I can get good service elsewhere, and pay less.

I bought my glasses here a while ago and even though they were busy at the time, the staff still took their time to properly adjust my glasses. I went back the other day because one of my nose pads had come off. I was served right away and the lady quickly fixed the problem.

I took my glasses in for an adjustment. I was informed that it was at my own risk, but since I just needed a simple nose pad adjustment I took my chances. The woman then cleaned the lens and made a total mess, leaving some kind of residue all over them. We asked to use the lens cleaner ourselves and she immediately started insisting that she hadn't damaged the lens and had only touched the nose piece. She was rude and defensive. And perhaps even worse, she was clearly incapable of distinguishing between dirt and a scratch. I got the glasses clean quite easily when I got home. Thankfully i didn’t need to drive because this woman left the glasses in such bad condition it was impossible to see out one lens. I recommend going anywhere else for an adjustment (walk around the corner to Pearl Vision). The staff at this location are under qualified and rude.
