This location is AWESOME! I was struggling to find glasses I liked and I was going to progressive lens for the first time. I had looked everywhere including LensCrafters in Upper Canada Mall with no luck. In fact the worst experience I had was at LensCrafters at Upper Canada Mall. I had written the store off and it was my husband who urged me to try the Alliston location. The team here is amazing very helpful and knowledgeable. Andrea helped me select my frames, she asked a lot of questions and worked with me to find two great pairs. I am so thankful I took the chance and they now have a customer for life.

Went there for a long overdue prescription update: there is a very convenient online appointment form, and once you are there, the doctor and staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. I was advised on why my old glasses were not working well, there was an error in my old prescriptions that was found, and I got help in getting a frame I wanted that they did not carry to work. Also, the glasses take about a week to be finished and the fit measurements they take are more thorough than in many other places. In short, it is definitely worth it.

Amazing customer service through the entire process, great selection of glasses and employees really make you feel comfortable by keeping conversations light and easy. Really a cute “little family. ” Highly recommend this location.

I recently visited LensCrafers for a new pair of glasses, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel comfortable and welcome.
The optometrist who conducted my exam was extremely knowledgeable and professional.
When it came time to select my glasses, the staff was incredibly patient, assisting me with finding a pair that fit my face correctly and looked great. They had a wide variety of glasses to choose from, and I was able to find exactly what I wanted!:)

Every staff members at the lens crafters in Alliston was amazing and did and outstanding job at making me feel comfortable, and understanding my new prescription lenses! They were great with helping me pick out new glasses and just overall very helpful kind and considerate! I will definitely be going to that location from now on and bringing my husband there also! I had a pair of glasses that had a screw missing and tried to fix them myself. After a failed attempt I decided to come into Lens Crafters and Casandra helped me not only replace the screw but tighten up all the remaining screws to make sure it didn’t happen again. I give 3 stars because I felt I was not attended to. The first time I went in, I was ignored and did not get good service. The prescription was not from their store, so perhaps that was a factor? Later, I went back to pick up my glasses and when I indicated when trying them on, that they were not quite right, the person told me I needed educating in how to see through progressives. I’ve been wearing progressives for over 20 years now. I was not impressed by this assessment. I will not return. The frames were free and the prices reasonable but lacking in customer service

I would give a 0 star review if I could.
3 years ago I was told by the Optometrist at the Alliston location that I needed bifocals.
I said that seemed odd as I don’t feel I needed glasses for distance and only for reading when I get tired.
I was talked into purchasing bifocals that were around $600.
I could not wear the glasses because I felt dizzy when I wore them.
Funny, I got my eyes tested at a new optometrist office today who told me I have 20/20 vision.
I don’t need glasses! Let alone bifocals! Am so angry…

Bought my first pair of reading glasses from them in 2018. They were great. Had to get progressives this time around. The staff were all very courteous, friendly as well as knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Everyone was so helpful and the doctor was very informative. They directed me to glasses that were within my budget and were so helpful!

Dropped by with a set of glasses where the lens came loose, they had me fixed up in ten minutes and even replaced my nosepads as they were worn. Awesome service with a smile, will be coming back for my next set of glasses!

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Hung for several years and have been very happy. Every year my husband or I buy new glasses at Lens Crafters. We generally get 2 pair each on alternating years. This is a good investment as our prescriptions are quite strong and our lenses are expensive. Their glasses are quite pricey and there is always an upsell. Each and every year we drop between $1000-$2000. All glasses are always in designer frames.
The staff are quite helpful and knowledgeable. This is why we continually go back.
I must say I was quite appalled when my husband and I both purchased glasses this year. 5 pair between us. Approximately $4000.00
When I asked for the spray to clean our glasses I was told I could come by anytime and they would be quite happy to clean them for us. They wanted to charge us for a bottle of glasses cleanser. Of course I didn't buy it as not only did we just finish paying for 5 pairs of glasses, but also a protection plan.
For this, they have lost my business. Hope the $7.99 bottle of cleaner was worth it. It was quite embarrassing. It should have been included with our new glasses.

Spent over $400 for progressive glasses and I can see better without them. I tried going back to get them adjusted but Dr. Hung said I had to go back to LensCrafters first. So I did and Marz basically blamed everything but the glasses. Said it was probably my desk, my computer, the chair I sit in, etc.he adjusted the arms of my glasses so they sat closer on my face but it didn’t help. So now I’m out $400 and have a pair of glasses I can’t even wear.will never go back!

I was fairly satisfied with my visit. I felt like i was being pushed towards the more expensive frames so they recieved a bigger commission, but other than that im happy with my results. Dr. Hung was great while getting my eye exam. Overall great experience

EDIT; after doing some research the frames i got i could have gotten my same pair of frames directly from burberry for half the price. So beware this place is extreamly expensive.

The manager replaced my lenses after a year and 3 months of use due to a lens delamination issue. She was very helpful and polite. The replacement lenses arrived in a week and where installed at no charge. Thanks for the great customer service.

Super helpful, the exams where full but they squeezed me in on dr.hungs lunchbreak! Andrew helped with the glasses and was awesome So pleased!

Been in twice for warranty issues and they try to talk you out replacing your lens by telling you that they look fine.
