Leon's Boot Alterations and Shoe Repair

Super quick and professional! I bought a pair of knee high boots that wouldn’t zip because they were too tight around my calves. Tried sizing up a little and they were still too tight so I sent them to Leon and now they fit perfectly! It looks brand new - there are no imperfections to the leather at all. Thank you:)

Best shop ever. Resoled my Hoka Speedgoat 5 for €30 on the day. They look like new now and I saved myself 150€ in buying a new pair for continuing the Camino de Santiago!

Custom tall riding boots purchased for my daughter did not fit properly at the top of the calf from the time they arrived. Sent back to the maker to be stretched; still did not fit when they came back. Tried again locally and still no luck. Thankfully found Leon and he did an absolutely stellar job widening the top so that they would fit while maintaining the design elements of the boots. They now fit perfectly! While the repair is not visible while mounted, it simply fits right in with the look of the boot when unmounted. Finding someone with his caliber of craftsmanship who will work on riding boots is no easy task. Fabulous customer service! He was able to turnaround the repair in time so they would be ready for a show. Custom boots are not inexpensive, so having them altered to fit has been so great! I got my Stuart Weitzman boots back today and I am thrilled. I don’t know Leon’s secret but it’s a good one. I could not get anyone in my home town to narrow the shaft of these boots. So I took a chance and shipped to Leon from afar. It is so worth it! I now have the first pair of boots to fit my skinny legs. Thank you, Leon!

Coming from a multigenerational cobbler family, Leon is a master at his craft. He was very professional and honest. His prices are very reasonable, and he was able to deliver on time. I was impressed with his work and can tell he is genuinely talented at what he does. I'm so glad I've finally found a cobbler I can depend on.

All I can say is - “PHENOMENAL”. I needed to alter a boot for a swollen foot after surgery. Leon opened the boot in 2 places and installed velcro for easy on and off. The boot is finished in a way that you would never guess it has been altered. It totally looks factory-made. Great taste and great hands!

Awesome! Leon promised he would be able to stretch my equestrian tall boots, even though another 2 places couldn't. They are PERFECT! My zippers also wouldn't stay up; new zipper pulls addressed that. YOU DON'T NEED NEW ZIPPERS! He also replaced 2 gussets I had cut. I was considering new boots, as I thought the cost of repairs would outweigh their worth. Trust me, Leon's quality of workmanship and pricing are impeccable! If you know the comfort of a well used riding boot, you'll understand why i wanted to keep them. The repair took only 1 week. I picked them up a couple of weeks ago and wanted to ride a few times before reviewing. I couldn't be happier! Thank you, Leon! 5 star review for customer relations, as well!

Leon did am amazing job on my boots. I have small calves and finally being able to fit into knee length boots is the best.

I cannot express enough how thankful I am for the alterations Leon made to my boots. Along with his attention to detail, he was kind, respectful, and professional. I drove all the way from Burlington to have my boots repaired by him and will continue to only have Leon repair my boots and shoes.

I accidentally bought boots that had wide calf from the USA. So I didn't want to send them back. He fixed them up beautifully. They now fit better than if they were regular calf in the first place

Great communication by email, Leon by far exceeded my expectations! Very affordable, A true craftsman. Very friendly and professional. I stopped in Vaughn to see Leon on a trip overnight to Toronto. Early the next morning, on my way out of the city, he called, hoping to catch me before i left for he had already completed the alteration! Unfortunately i had already gone, so he promptly shipped them to me, as we had arranged. I will definitely be using his services again and recommending him to my friends

Leon is great. He is professional and listens to the concerns you have with your shoes and tries his best to address them. He has alot of knowledge and is highly skillful in dealing with all types of shoes. He will explain the reasons for why and how things can or can't be done and will make sure to look after them in the process as well. When you have shoes you love. You don't won't to leave them with someone you don't trust. You can definitely trust Leon and I will be coming back with all my Sandals from now onwards. Thanks Leon!

Leon works his magic on boots and leather jackets - he fixed so many of my favourite shoes very quickly, his craftsmanship and customer service are equally excellent. There were a few shoes that I was ready to throw out but he made them look like brand new, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my boots and accessories. Highly recommended!

Leon is amazing at his craftsmanship. To top it off, he is very friendly, polite, and genuine - qualities that are hard to come by! I took two pairs of boots for him to take in (the calf was too wide). He did a great job and had them ready same day. He also had me try them on and make any last minute adjustments just in case they didn't fit right. Thank you so much Leon!
