Not sure what to say. I received a phone call Nov 21, and returned it, the phone was static and I received no information. Nov 22 I received a phone call, I returned it, the lady could give me no information and locked concern of finding anything else. And both were cold and u hospitable. Being in the sales industry leaves me questioning the upper management. Thank you end result Nov 23 delivery not sure what time no information given?

Terrible customer service post-purchase. It has been a nightmare to get a repair! It’s been well over a month and I’m still waiting for a repair, for.technician to follow up with me from the first visit! I have spoken to numerous people: associates, supervisors, customer service manager (Nicole?) and the store manager. I still keep getting delays. I will never shop here again and will NOT recommend Leon’s to anybody. I’m so disappointed. I’m still here with my ‘defective’ sectional. This has been very stressful. Truly unprofessional and unacceptable.: (

Krystyna was a absolute pleasure to work with very warm and welcoming, she only thinks of your interests first and gives you tremendous suggestions and looks for store deals.
We have come back thrice and each time we have interacted only with her and ask for her when we go to the store (you all should do this too!)

I bought a bed at Leon’s had issues with the company that was suppose to assemble the bed same day as delivery but they didn’t show up for assembling the bed so I went to Leon’s and Jamie refunded me my money and canceled the assembly appointment for me as I had someone else assemble the bed the same day the bed was delivered As well I bought a couch and chair and Debbie helped me pick out the right set that was very comfortable and helped me with the colour scheme as well. Thanks Jamie and Debbie for being Friendly and understanding and very helpful with my purchases and issues

Bought a bedroom set. Was told 1 side table will be delivered with the set and the other will be ready for pickup a week later. Side table wasn't delivered with the set and neither are ready for pickup 2 months later. They told me they were in the local warehouse. 2/5. Just another furniture store.

We received our first statement in the mail and it didn't remotely resemble the $55 per month, 0% interest 36 month plan that Sharif talked us into. We visited Leon's and got a full refund, as we can't remotely afford the financing plan that we were actually placed on. Despite having been offered both a 24 month and a 36 month plan, neither resembles their actual financing options. Shame on you for deceitful marketing.

I can only speak to the customer service in the store, as my couch is no coming for a month. Yesterday,
my boyfriend and I came in to start looking for a couch, as we are renovating the basement. Debbie was fantastic. She was helpful without being pushy and was very knowledgeable. Thank you for all you help!

This place is ridiculous. A year and a half ago we purchased a lot of furniture from here and had several problems. First of all, the mattress we bought, the people "tied down" in our truck and though it looked flimsy the workers ensured us that this is their job and they know its fine. Driving down kings, before we got on the high (thank god) the mattress flew out of the back.

Also the mattress foundation when being delivered to my house, the worker were again in a hurry and put about a 1.5 foot wide hole in my wall. When called the store they wouldn't fix our wall but instead offered to give us a split foundation that would fit down the stairs better, and since better than nothing we took the split foundation.

Further, we got a 2 seater and 3 seater recliner, and our 2 seater was damaged during delivery. This one I am not too angry about, as they replaced the 2 seater with a 3 seater they had available.

Again with the coffee table set, my main table was lob-sided and not flat on the ground. We called immediately and they said they can't fix it but someone will come put a rubber on the bottom of one of the legs. RIDICULOUS!

I thought okay maybe I had just had bad luck with all these deliveries. I have now heard from a friend who just used Leon's now, and they have damaged his door during a delivery, and they are not willing to do anything about it.

This place is ridiculous.

Mover's Damaged our door from moving furniture. The hinges came off the front door and there is a large dent on the metal door. Spoke to management but they deny their staff had anything to do with incident. These movers don't do their job proprely and they will not accept responsibility for their mistakes.

I bought fourteen of them on the 1st of September last month and they gave me several dates for the arrival of the furniture. The last date was 10/15 and today the sales manager is blunt. You cannot cancel the invoice and we cannot return it to you. They don't respect appointments. I have a video that proves all my words and they cheat people and their promises are false

We came in for a sectional.that was discontinued. (We already have one and wanted a second for the recroom) Sharif the salesman went above and beyond and was able to find us what we wanted in the leftover stock at a good price.

Purchased a couch in August, the delivery date is still getting pushed back. I understand covid has caused delays but they keep lying about when it will arrive. Save your time and go elsewhere.

EDIT: purchased in August, they pushed back delivery to end of December now. An absolute joke of a company, I'm begging anyone reading this to NEVER bother shopping here again until they can provide even REASONABLY accurate delivery timeframes.

Ridiculous customer service. The sales associate told us the cost of the Twin bed base instead of the king bed. He didn't even confirm the product before billing. We had to identify the mistake and get it rectified all by ourselves. Very condescending. Didn't even speak English. Kept talking in a regional language. Kept us waiting for 30-40 mins for every inquiry.

We had to go back to another sales person to fix all the chaos that he created in the first place. Horrible service in total.

Super disappointed with the extended warranty offered through Leons, king and state. You call and cannot ever reach anyone, sit on hold for 30 mins to have the line disconnect 14 times! Called the leons store and they said they had no other suggestions, I did put a claim through online but minimum 3 days to get back to me? 3.5 year old LG fridge that had its compressor die. We are a family of 5 living out of a cooler and there is no sense of urgency to get this looked at? Why sell an extended warranty that has zero customer service, better yet why sell a fridge that now has known issues with the compressor & a lawsuit!? !

Went in for an interview, store manager basically bragged about how many people he has fired in the past. He would barely let me speak. Then he apparently adding me to their phone list since I have received multiple automated sales calls from their store.

Well I originally erased my first review and left it at one star because after making the review I was contacted by an employee there who told me they were going to make things right and arrange for someone to come out to my home to spray my couch like they are obligated to. I payed for a warranty and leons is not fulfilling their end of the transaction. This store has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. They called me about a month ago and stated they will make things right and that they are just going to work out some details, then, call me back. That was over a month ago and these people have not even made an attempt to call me or contact me in any way. Shameful and disgraceful customer service and whomever is in charge over there, including the owner, should be absolutely embarrassed. It is such a simple request.spray guard my couch, send me the spray guard and I will do it myself, or make it right by another means. I hope you fix this problem and retrain your staff to be more customer service oriented. Be warned about this leons, once they get your money, they forget you even exist. Go to London or sarnia locations if you want good customer service.

The manager of this store was great. I came in for an outdoor area rug (not a large purchase) and he treated me well. If I have future furniture or decor needs (they have tons of pics, rugs, decor) I will definitely shop here!:)

Waiting on our paid sectional since November of 2020. Called again today to be told it's now October and that other customers are waiting longer than us. No sign of even wanting to keep our business or caring about future purchases. Every manager has the same story about depending on manufacturers etc etc but no mention of that when we bought this product and it was during the pandemic as well. We realize it's trying times but a customer service based store should show more concern about frustrated customers like ourselves. Awful customer service and we really hope this helps other customers be wary of where they purchases.

Not Happy! Placed an order for a sofa June 30th and was told delivery would be the end of July. Was not too happy about that but OK. Now I am being told not until mid August and now am really not happy. Sold my old sofa so have one chair to share in the living room

Initial service was good, but ability to deliver products was poor;

After being initially told the stove and dining set would be available a month or so after order, the availability date passed 3 separate times. Each time I had to call in and was told a later date (I was not contacted).

The final date I was given before canceling the order was 8 months after initial purchase.

The option to re-select a different item was provided, but was not done as they would not meet in the middle on sale pricing
(I couldn’t have even gotten the same thing or a comparable product with the store credit, since the items were no longer on sale).

If the item is there to touch, it may be worth buying, but the experience has left me with little confidence in Leon’s ability to actually produce the products or come to an equitable solution when those products aren’t available.

Leon’s has been incredible from the start of the sale to the end. The communication started on the chat which lead to a phone call and after almost a hour of searching warehouses the sales rep was able to satisfy our requests. Delivery was flawless, the guys brought the appliances into the home no issues and very extremely polite like casual polite not forced interaction. Thank you Leon’s if you’re reading this!

TL;DR: Zero customer service. WAITED 6 MONTHS FOR DELIVERY. POOR QUALITY CHEAP FURNITURE. AVOID THIS STORE!

At the end of September 2020 my partner and I visited this location and were pretty much ignored from the time we entered the building. The most service we received was from the guy at the front who screened us for COVID.

We were in the market for a couch set and dining set. We found a couple of things we liked at an ok price and then stood around for at least 30 minutes for a sales person to notice us. As we completed paperwork we were told our orders were coming from overseas and would take 8-12 weeks to fulfill because COVID would delay things. We should have stopped right there because it's been a nightmare since. We regretfully decided to go through with the purchase anyway.

Our dining set did come within 12 weeks. We had to contact the store to find out it had arrived because at no point were we ever contacted by them. The delivery date and time was given last minute on a Friday evening, which was inconvenient since we were told our elevator needed to be put on service. The only semi redeeming point was that the delivery guys were quick and efficient.

The dining set is cheaply made. Within a week the table top already had deep scratch marks in the finish and the screws weren't staying in the chair legs leading us to have to use glue to keep the chairs from falling apart. Absolute garbage quality.

Our experience with the couch set has turned into a whole new level of regret. We called the store every 2 weeks to check if it had come in. We were met with zero customer service bordering on rudeness. The girl who was answering the phone offered no help, no apology and the only explanation we'd get was that things were delayed because of covid and there's nothing that can be done about it. I understand these are tough times but this had gotten ridiculous. We felt robbed having paid full amount for a product and not receiving it or getting any updates for so long.

After waiting over 24 weeks my partner emailed the store asking for a full refund if the furniture wasn't in by the end of the week. His email was completely ignored and not acknowledged what-so-ever. He called them again at the end of the week and to our astonishment the couch set was there and was to be delivered to us the following week. From the very beginning the entire process took 6 MONTHS.

I couldn't be more disappointed with these couches. After waiting so long, we've now been met with a terrible off-gassing chemical odor. We've had the couches for a week and the smell hasn't gotten better and is making us sick. I try to keep the windows open for ventilation during the day but it's still too cold at night to have the windows open and wake up every day feeling nauseated. My cat won't even sit on them and I've avoided sitting on them because my eyes start to burn and my throat gets scratchy.

I've never experienced such terrible customer service and buyer's remorse as I have with Leon's. If you value your money, your sanity and even your health, shop somewhere else and don't settle for cheap stinking furniture that takes half a year to be delivered to you. Never again.

We order a bedroom set & a sectional in late part of March, we were told due to covid the sectional won't be in until June and we are fine with that but the bedroom set was in I asked for a Saturday delivery as we would be home. Was told we would get a call on the Friday to confirm, never got that call so I called and a girl took my number and said she would have the manager call waited 2 hours than called back talk to someone different said the manager was on another call would call me back I asked them to call on my cell but he called my husband's. Jamie the manager said our delivery was never put in the system but he apologized and offered a Tuesday delivery I said only if they could deliver after 3: 30pm as we both work he said he would call me back. Waited and ended up calling him left a message, he called me back a said that he talked to his delivery department and they could deliver tomorrow we said ok. At the start of our first conversation he was going to offer us $100.00 but he never mentioned it again, I want my set as I gave our old one away today. Yes it is this weekend it all happened now not only 1 day wasted but now 2 as I have to put my plans on hold for tomorrow so I get my set. I`m a patient person and this isn't the first time we have bought something from Leon's but after we get our sectional I will think twice.

I bought a mattress from them and I have to say, I really wish places stopped making their sales employees mostly commission based as their pay. I would hate that pressure and as a customer, I could feel it.

Both my partner and I felt like we were being hunted. Lots of sales employees clearly trying to get our sale first. It was uncomfortable.

It makes me trust this place less because I can easily tell that their pay largely depends on commission. It’s a toxic place for both employees and customers.

I prefer employees who tell me what they *honestly* think works best for me. I value a good, honest, professional opinion. I would feel more confident with my purchase and it would also make me want to come back.

The mattress was okay but I sure won’t be shopping here again.

From their customer service (Valerie) to both movers (Nathan and Dave) who did a great job, were very professional, very careful, polite and they know their job very well! The app also is great it gives you updates all the time and overall just remarkable experience, impressed with how professional the movers were! 100 recommend Leon’s!

We have made 2 purchases from Leon's Kitchener location recently. First it was a fridge, and the one I liked was a brand we were not familiar with, Kristina knew so much information about the company she made my husband feel good about the purchase. When we needed couches we came back to deal with Kristina again. She was not pushy but very knowledgeable and was able to stay with in our budget for what we wanted. Never lied about the wait we would have for all the products we were interested in. She really knows her stuff and treated us above what she had to. She will be our go to person from now on.

I ordered a couch from Leon's in early December and was advise it would take until late February, early March to be delivered. I actually received my couch on Jan. 9,2021 - almost 2 months earlier than expected. The delivery people were very professional and respectful of my home when they delivered the couch. The service received from Leon's was exceptional from purchasing the couch right through until I received it in my home.

My experience as a 17 year old looking for my first sectional was an experience to never forget because of Krystyna. She went out of her way to find exactly what I needed. Was not happy about my trip to Leon's today, had a rough idea about what bed set I wanted and figured would go at open (10am) to avoid a rush after work as i had a few questions about the set still. After spending nearly 45min going between looking at the bed set I wanted, walking around the floor, and looking at the other options I still had not seen nor been approached by any sales person.

Sad experience as my current full bedroom set, couch's and dining set were all from this store and have had great experiences in the past. But I don't think when only 3 or 4 other people are in the store I should be forced to walk up to the front counter to just find a sales person to answer the questions i had.

Will take my business to another store.

Stay away from Leon's. I bought a Mattress from them which became defective within 6 months. When I contacted them for warranty, they played all kinds of tricks to decline warranty by saying things they never mentioned at the time of purchase.

Not a single greeting from anyone for the first 15 minutes. All the associates kept walking around staring but no one approached me or my partner. We ended up buying nothing. I work in retail industry and customer service here was horrible.

Wish I could give 0.after 9 times going there in November.they still screwed up our order and tried charging prices that were more expensive than their sales price. The delivery didnt fit through the door or door way after giving them EXACT measurements and them saying "Ya no problem". After trying to get a hold of them for almost a month and nobody has called me back and now my guarantee has passed. They have the crappiest customer service and the worst management out of any furniture store I have ever dealt with. Just Kitchener localization definitely deserves to be shut down as their customer service it's disgusting and they only want to make commissions for their sales people. Bite me Leon's and I hope you guys I'm very happy with the shity work you've done.

Bought a sofa set with coffee table- the coffee table legs didn’t align to the table holes. It was really easy to get the new one.
However, the delivery guys were not very cooperative, they also do not tell you exact time of delivery. Some one like me living in an apartment needs to book the elevator then we need exact time of delivery.over all it was a good experience

Bought a leather sectional with extended warranty. 8 months after the leather started to crack, the sectional was replaced for the same thing to happen again 8 months later. The extended warranty didn't cover the issue this time so sectional went to the landfill only two years after purchase. Aweful quality and extended warranty

We ordered a TV and the day came for the delivery. I took a half a day off for the delivery & fond out that Leon's had a different date scheduled. Just imagine the feeling. I was so mad & I don't what I said to the person on the other end. I am sorry & regret for some of the things that I said. Anyhow, They delivered the TV on the same day late. That's was a relief. Hope they would learn the lesson and have better scheduling system.

I've always thought leons was good, but they're only good because they're trying to sell you. I called 3 times and all 3 times i was told someone would call me back.no call, finally i called and talked to a manager and she seemed to care, sent a tech out who told me someone would contact me. I never heard anything for a few weeks so i called back and again nobody knew what i was talking about.ive been waiting for a manager for over a month to call now.well leons your loss not mine. I spend well over 10k in the past year and honestly i have no problems taking my money elsewhere. I actully just bought a new dishwasher from Lowe's and normally I'd always go to leons. Well leons Your loss not mine.

Good staff but. I spend a lot of money on a product and when I get home and open the box it's very damaged. I have to return and pick up new myself? This product is very heavy and I dont own a vehicle. Being charged delivery fee if i want them to exchange it seems unfair for something I didnt cause.

Sales person and his manager were very rude to me and my family. Sales guy offered me a discount on bedroom furniture, so I agreed to the price. At the time of placing the order sales person and his manager together changed the price which was offered earlier and didnt communicate or said anything to me. When I asked the question on final price, both got up out of their seat, throw their hands around and walked away. Very rude and disrespectful behavior from them. I felt like they both tried to trick me into swiping the card without telling me the final price which they had changed on their computer. Be alert and cautious while placing order with these people at Leon's.
