The customer service at Leon’s Brantford is horrendous to say the least. We received our couch delivery in October and the company just left without opening the boxes and assembling the furniture. After beginning to build the couch myself, i realized that there were no instructions provided and that i was missing several parts of the couch. I called leons immediately and the customer service rep was shocked and told me that they would call me back to determine what went wrong. They never called me back, i called them and they had no record of my last conversation with them. They never knew how to help me other than to just order new parts and indicate that they SHOULD come within 90 days but would never received an actual shipping date. After many phone calls and exchanges, we requested they just order a new couch since that would be faster (they never suggested this, it was us!). The couch came within a couple weeks, and the delivery drivers actually suggested that perhaps the missing pieces were inside the couch…turns out, they were, inconspicuously hidden in a place we would never think to check. You would have thought that Brantford Leon’s customer service would have perhaps guided us in the direction? Nope, not at all. The customer service team had been absolutely useless, and even Burlington Leon’s indicated that Brantford could have made these suggestions and avoided this whole situation. An absolute embarrassment of a company honestly.

I purchased my appliances at Leon's Brantford. I really am happy with their services and honesty specially I got the best services from Nadia. All the best to all of them.

Bought a new TV. Chris said no problems delivering before my major surgery on Sept 20th. I'll call you, we'll no call was received from Chris for an update.
I am expecting them to actually come thru still.
I should not have to chase responsible people for answers.
If I ever return to Leon's, I am dealing only with Nadia.

By far the worst experience I've ever had in my life anywhere. Twice I might add. Bought merchandise twice in a 3 year span. Took months to get a couch purchased a few years ago and it came in wrong. Recently purchased a washer. We were told we'd hear back within 2 weeks to set up delivery. Finally called them 2 weeks to the day. Item didnt get transferred. Hafta wait another week to hear from Burlington store now. Cancelled order immediately. Will never ever go to a Leon's again.especially this one. Gave it a 1 star rating because there are no negative numbers to use.

Had a great time. From the staff to service everything was just on point. Ishani, who helped me throughout can't be thanked enough. Getting me just what I needed and at the best price.

This place is a joke. $8,000 for dinning table and 6 chairs, loveseat, sofa and chair. First they say living room stuff back order but can deliver table and chairs. Show up with everything but loveseat. Backordered. Table and 4 chairs damaged. Send pictures so get thrm replaced "SOMETIME"? Oh loveseat is in stock and they missed it to deliver. Set up another Friday morning off work to get loveseat. Call 2 days before and now they don't know when they can deliver because now, 1 week later they deliver Saturdays when were away. NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING OTHER TGEN TSKE MONEY TO SELL YOU SOMETHING THEN WHO CARES AFTER THE CASH CHANGES HANDS.

Favour was assisting us at the Brantford Leon’s location and was very kind and helpful. She went over the different financing options and took her time with us. My fiancé and I love coming to this location because the associates are very helpful! Would always go back to this location.

Went into this store looking to purchase some furniture my fiancée and I were instantly judged by the staff at the door and could tell they didn’t want to deal with us. Eventually Ruth Anne came around to help us and throughout the entire time she tried to “help” we were spoken down to as if we knew nothing. It was easier and a better experience for us to outrun Ruth Anne and search the information on the couches by ourselves.

We had great service with Nadia! She kept in touch with us but never hovered or pressured us to buy. The speed and ease for the purchase great. Good selection and quick delivery

Nadia was amazing (a couple of times I actually was amazed) as soon as we walked in she was there - devoted a lot of time - knowledgeable - good experience.

Sales were great staff are Nice. But their manufacturer continues to push back the delivery date. First it was Aug, then Sept, then, Oct, then Nov now Dec.from furniture purchased in May. Absolutely unbelievable at this point I could have hand built and upholstered the chairs myself in less time.

The experience my brother and partner had when looking at furniture was awful, we were looking around the store and we’re being followed around the whole time, but the sales representative did not ask if we needed help. She even stood on her toes to get a better look at us over a sign. We all walked out and said we would never shop here again because it was clear she was racial profiling us and following us so we wouldn’t “steal” anything. This is so wrong and no costumers should ever feel this way ever.

? One star for the showroom design, probably the best furniture store layout from the all places we have visited in the Hamilton area!
And one star for their salesperson ROB.

From there it is all going downhill for this store.

None of the furniture pieces we could even consider buying there were in stock.no guarantees when or if they would be able to deliver it? They do not even know when they might receive the shipments of those furniture pieces.

Most of the bedroom furniture they sell is of a BAD quality.

I do not think these pieces of living room display furniture or bedroom sets will even survive the transportation to your home.that's how bad the quality of furniture they sell is with very few exceptions there.counted with the fingers of my left hand.

Pretty much a disaster, if you plan to go to these places like Leon's, and Ashley's and hope to walk away with a good quality piece of furniture you would enjoy for years in your home.

Forget that idea.first.you will not find it because they have nothing in stock.and second.the quality of the furniture they buy in Vietnam, and Malaysia is so cheap.it is unbelievable.
These companies like Leon's could most certainly find better quality furniture manufacturers but will prefer large profits over bringing quality to their stores. ANNOYING.very annoying to see this trend all over the chains of stores like Leon's, Ashley, the Brick, and Bad Boys.they all are chasing profits and do not give a damn about the poor quality of what they offer to Canadian customers. SHAME.

3 weeks later we went back to buy a new television, again Stephanie greeted us and once again walked us through a fun purchase.

Great store, great team. Loved the furniture, the most important that it wasn't complicated to buy the things you want. (Nadia) was the one helping us, and honesty she was great and very patient and nice!

I recently purchased my house furniture from Leons and I am super satisfied with their survice. The sales associate Nadia was very nice to talk to and she really helped us choose what was best for us and guided us very well.

Bought a kingsdown mattress is 2017… it unfortunately failed due to manufacture defect. We were given a store credit to replace the mattress and decided to go with a Sealy Hybrid mattress. Upon receiving this mattress it was extremely firm and did not feel like it did in store. Thankfully for the 200 night guarantee we were able to do a one time exchange. We exchanged it for a beautyrest. Had to wait 2 weeks for delivery of new mattress. On delivery day, delivery driver calls to say that the mattress has been damaged in the truck and to call the store to set up a new date. We called the store on Saturday and was told they could not set up a new date until the truck returns to the warehouse and that we would get a call back that afternoon. Never got a call back. Now Monday, called the store again was told we would get a call back.never did. Went in to store and now have to wait an additional 2 weeks again for delivery, This is absolutely unacceptable and not good customer service. I will never purchase another item from Leon’s again. I will look elsewhere before going here. Needless to say, I have not had a solid comfortable sleep for about a month now. When you’re a shift worker switching between days and nights, you truly value your sleep and it seems customer service at Leon’s does not value the time we’ve taken out of our schedule and time off work to be here for an expected delivery.

I would like to share my expérience so other people can make informed decision before buying at this location.

I bought a bed in Dec, 2021 and the delivery date was Mar, 2022 due to back order but still not received it.

On following up, came to know that new delivery date is June 2022 and that also is not confirmed.

6 months for one bed delivery shows the level of customer service, pls make informed decision before buying here!

I bought a sofa in November last year, but it was not delivered to me until April, and they said they would continue to delay. I suspect that they are deliberately delaying time, because MY sofa was bought at a special price. Now I am very upset, so I directly cancel the order and never come back

They are not good in keeping their promises. We ordered multiple pieces of furniture from them on March 3,2021. Someone called saying that our products will all arrive by May and that was fine with me. The table that we are waiting for did not arrive as well as the 4 piece bed set. Each time I called to follow up on the status of my order they gave me multiple dates: June, then July, August. I spoke to them again today they said September? What kind of business is this? Maybe by September they will tell me it will arrive next year.

I regret not checking the reviews before placing our order because I would have seen that this is an ongoing issue. So, if you want to get your furniture on time go somewhere else. It is not worth it to purchase from them.

Have purchased two major pieces of furniture here in the last few years, and cannot complain one bit. Great service, and I've saved thousands of dollars compared to the 'other guys'. Products are quality as well.

I have contacted the store several times. My sofa set has pilled on the cushions and arm rest. Substandard fabric. Both cushions on the sofa have dents and are being replaced. Sofa set looked bad before even a year old.

If you want something that day you won't get it. Everything is 2-6 weeks and that is why people use Amazon next day delivery. If it's within Canada why am I waiting 6 weeks if it's sitting in your warehouse.

Absolutely awful customer service from the store manager Ian. Total lack of concern after the product was sold. Leon's delivered a damaged mattress, then 3 months later refused to deliver my replacement to my rural property. Total lack of concern from the store manager.

Edit: if you were truly sorry you would deliver the mattress I paid for. As of right now you have robbed me/scammed us out of $1500.

Was actually quite surprised at the excellent selection and available prices here. Salesperson was friendly but a little hawk'ish. Still, a smooth process purchasing a new sofa and the delivery was also extremely well done (love the tracking). Would definitely shop here again.

My husband and I went into the showroom in Brantford after looking online for bunk beds and the storage drawers for underneath. We ordered on July 5, sales lady was super nice and filled out our order. She did say it was 4-6 weeks for the product to be shipped. We received the items on August 8, upon delivery the one driver had said the drawers couldn’t be delivered since they weren’t ready. Okay that’s fine. The next day my husband and I get everything upstairs into the bedroom and start unpacking to find out that we had the storage drawers but we’re missing the bed rails. So my husband goes up to the Brantford store and they were extremely unhelpful. According to them the bed rails were on the delivery truck but the drivers failed to deliver them. They said our bed rails were sitting at the Burlington location. We ended up driving to Burlington and waiting 45 minutes for them to tell us our stuff was not there and was in Mississauga. They told us we could pick them up in Mississauga or wait until end of August to have them delivered. Three days later we drove to Mississauga and again after 45 minutes of waiting our stuff was not there. The Brantford manager offered to pick up our stuff and deliver it to our address. So the next day our stuff was delivered. We go to put the bunk beds together to find out we’re missing half of the box. We go up to the Brantford store and they call the Burlington location and have a set of bed rails set aside for us and the manager will personally pick them up. After all this we finally got our bunk beds put together. While all this is happening I’ve emailed Leon’s countless times and talked to two different representatives and not one has offered compensation for all this hassle. I will never ever order from Leon’s again. They do not care about their customer service what so ever. Buyer beware!

I'd give them a half star if possible. Nothing but don't worry i will take care of looking after you, I won't leave you hanging wondering where your stuff is, I will keep an eye on your order and update you with information.well its been 10 weeks, still no stove, 5 missed possible delivery dates. Latest update we worked very very very hard to find you the only stove in ontario but will take approximately 4 more weeks before we can send it out for delivery. Unless you go pick it up yourself.but we won't help you out with a discount for driving all over the place to pick up your items.never ever will I order from this place again.

Terrible place runaway! Leon's you should be ashamed of yourself for delivering a couch at my Aunts senior apartment dumping the couch in the front of the building refusing to take to the 5th floor. The lady is a senior and they refused to go inside a senior apartment building shame on you Leon's!

Very disappointed with the Customer service at this store. When I asked for them to pick back up a king bed frame that I no longer wanted, the customer service rep “didn’t know” how to arrange a new pickup date. I had to go back and forth with them on the phone at least three times. Additionally they wouldn’t offer a refund, only store credit plus an expensive restocking fee. Be extra careful about ensuring the furniture you purchase is the furniture you want. Will think twice before purchasing from here again.

How a chain like this, with its primitive logistics, remains in business in 2020 is beyond me. I ordered a simple coffee table in the Brantford store on a Thursday, was advised it would come in on the following Tuesday. It didn't, and I was advised it would be another 1-2 weeks. That happens to be today. I called the store to follow up, just to find out it will be another 2 weeks minimum. It is not a manufacturing or overseas shipping delay - the coffee table has been sitting in the Leon's Scarborough warehouse the entire time. Effectively, the chain in incapable to move a paid-for product from a Scarborough warehouse to its Brantford store, a distance of an hour and a half, for over a month and a half. Needless to say, I cancelled the purchase and will never consider shopping at Leon's again. In the age of companies like Amazon, lying to customers about expected delivery just to make a sale, and taking months to deliver product, that is simply not tolerable.

Very upset about customer service. Extremely poor in Brantford. Feel sorry for sales person. With this last experience they have lost alot of sales. Manager I even has attitude. Very disappointed. Will not buy from Leons ever again

I ordered a table that took over a month to come in. When it finally did it was too big for the space. They happily take things back for a 25% restocking fee! So needless to say, think twice before you order anything online. As for me, I will no longer be shopping at Leon's.

Everything is overpriced! We saw the same couch there that we saw at the Brick and it was more than double the price.

The location in Brantford has a huge showroom. The staff are friendly and fairly knowledgeable. Regular prices can be high.but if you wait for their sales you can usually get a pretty good deal

Keep coming back again and again, when ever we need new furniture or appliances. The staff is always courteous and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend this location!

I have purchased many home furnishing items from Leon’s. I ordered two chairs and a sofa from the Stampede Collection that was delivered on time and in perfect condition! It fits the living space just as I had envisioned it.

The delivery team of Allan and Ryan couldn’t have been more helpful and professional. I was very impressed by how well they worked together and the great sense of humour they both had. It made the experience a real joy!

We just recently bought a house and our box spring wouldn't fit up the stairs. When we went into Leon's Brantford location, Ruth Anne helped us and was fantastic! She knew exactly what we needed. She was very friendly, listened, found us the best option at the best price and we were at the check out within 10 minutes. Delivery is scheduled for today and I really like the tracker as well. Very impressed with the customer experience. Thank you Ruth Anne!

Bought a chesterfield and loveseat Aug 3, now Sep 25th. I was told by the end of August. Where is it? Called numerous times and they have no idea of arrival time. Terrible service and lies. I will never buy from then again!
