Delivery men were so kind and quick and efficient with my washer and dryer. They moved my new appliances in safely and I’m very happy with the delivery service.

Guys were very professional going the extra distance to make sure product was not damaged and doors and walls were not damaged by taking necessary doors completely off!

Ordered a new fridge June 9th was told it would be here by the end of the month just received it on July 18th now need a technician on the same day to come fix the freezer door because it doesn’t close properly … hopefully will show up today but I have my doubts

Received my sofa set within 3weeks. Had a small issue but was fixed very quickly and efficiently. Interior and warehouse staff where very professional, friendly and eager to help. Was a good experience, overall!

Ordered a 75 inch tv. Was told it would not fit in my truck even though I insisted it would. Asked what other options I had and they said there is none. They also said they would not ship to my house. Went to the Brick. Sure enough it did fit in my truck and service way way more accommodating. For future customers I do not recommend leons in Thunder Bay

The people at Leon’s were quite quick to finish the sale of our product; but we had to call quite literally 10 times to find out about a delivery time, as people would just say they’d call back and then not. When our first piece arrived they damaged our wall, and we had to call back 5 times to get it rectified (they tried blaming it on their technician from auto home) - before we finally decided to just fix it ourself. When the second piece arrived, we just picked it up ourself to save the hassle, but it was damaged from the box! We called immediately but they tried blaming it on a “manufacturers defect”, and said they would do nothing to help us. Don’t buy from the local store, just buy online and ship it there or to your house.

Excellent Service, 5+ Stars for the outstanding guys. They were 1 hour early. Love the Delivery App, plus they called. Hopefully the same guys deliver the matching Dryer when it arrives. Thanks Again for scheduling the delivery so quickly. Very much appreciated.

Will write another review when we get the LG washing machine installation done and it’s operating.

First time I have ever been in a Leon's and it was nice. This store seems to have a great selection of furnishings and electronics. Tons of couches, chairs, sectionals, beds, dining room furniture, appliances, and TVs. The staff member we dealt with seemed very nice and sociable. While I didn't actually get anything, I was more there just to look around, it seems like this would be a good place to go to get furniture. They also had a big delivery section which is a good sign.

Nice place to shop for all your furnishing needs! Sales associate was helpful, will definitely come back on black friday to purchase my sofa.

Leons furniture, extortionists?
Bought a new bed for mom, paid 1400.00 for it, they called today told me I had to give them an extra 100.00 because they made a mistake and wouldn't deliver it until I paid.
After a lengthy argument and trying to make my point that after the sale was done and the money was paid they should honor the sale and price, they would not!
They insisted I pay the extra $100 price or no delivery.
I refused, they eventually refunded my money as I was not going to let them extort me.
This being said, Danielle had a very rude and self righteous attitude.
I bought another bed from the brick, $60 cheaper and a very courteous sales person, Kaitlyn.
Kudos Brick, big thumbs down for Leons!

I went in for a new mattress and Zoe helped me find the perfect one for me! She also showed us the newest icey mattress cover and it felt so cold I new it was going to be perfect for the summer weather. She also made sure that we got the free delivery even though I was just under the mark for it. I 100% recommend her if you’re heading to Leon’s anytime soon.

I recently bought a refrigerator from Leon's (in March). When it was delivered, the doors had to be removed to get it into the kitchen. When the guys put the doors back on, they couldn't get all the screws in properly on the freezer door. I was told that it would not affect the operation of the fridge and it would be okay - not to worry about it!
In the months since then the door as slowly shifted down and now I have to lift the door to ensure that it closes properly.
When I called Leon's to see what could be done, I was told that it was my fault that the fridge didn't fit through the door and I should have measured before I bought it. It was then suggested that I should fix it myself as it was an easy fix. If it was that easy why couldn't the drivers do it right!
There was no apology for the situation or any consideration given to my age or circumstances. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!

Pathetic after sale service. Brought a sofa set last year from them with extended warranty, made a claim 3 to 4 months back, technician has visited twice, he confirmed the issue and said you will get a replacement of one piece and rest will get repaired. After few weeks, I received call from store they said our company will repair but not replace the faulty piece and we have ordered the parts from vendor. Its been two months i have not received any response from them yet, i dont understand what is the purpose of extended warranty if you cant provide the right service afterwards. Is it just to fool your customers? Extreme disappointment for me, will never recommend to shop with them.

Just want to give a huge shout out to Patrick who went over and above to make sure that my moms purchase was taken care of properly. He was informative, helpful and very reliable! He made sure that her price match went through and gave proper information. I would suggest that anyone shopping at Leon’s asks for him! Thank you again Patrick!

If you don't go see Gordon Littleford at Leon's, you'll be hard pressed to find yourself a more knowledgeable salesman anywhere else in Thunder Bay, maybe even Canada! He knows the business inside and out. And so he should! He's been in it for nearly 60 years! From my grandparents to my parents, and now myself; Gordon has never steered any of us wrong. Nothing but exceptional customer service, kindness and an endless wealth of knowledge from this expert! I've purchased every appliance and every piece of furniture in my home from Gord and I couldn't be happier. Thanks Gord.

What a great experience at Leons. I was looking for just a new fridge but Shelley (sales associate) informed us of the benefits of replacing all our appliances at the same time as we would save money in the long run. We are very happy with our purchase and will definately recommend her to our friends.

A great experience when buying our new sectional and dining set. Tina took great care of us walking through the entire process and making sure we were given the best care possible. She is an absolute stud and is definitely the girl to speak to if you're looking to buy anything new appliance or furniture wise for your home.

Was looking for a 6" foam mattress to put in my grand caravan for camping. Leon's was one of the few places that carried them and had them in stock. The staff was friendly and Nicole took very good care of me even after finding out I was cutting up the mattress! 10/10 will look there first when I'm looking for furniture in the future

We visited Leon’s in search of new mattresses and bedroom furniture for our boys. Paola was the sales person that helped us, she was so friendly, helpful and informative! We were able to get exactly what we were looking for.

We needed a new mattress so we visited Leons Furniture about 2 weeks ago. I have to say that Shelley in the mattress department was awesome. She found us a great mattress that suited our budget. We are so pleased and will return to buy our furniture from her in the near future.

We have bought several things over the years from Leon’s Thunder Bay, but our most recent visit to the store prompted me to write a review. We went to the store for a new couch and received fantastic service from Tina Aschaber. She was super knowledgeable about the products they carry at the store as well as the product warranty. She helped us find exactly what we were looking for and she was excellent with helping us without being pushy and never tried to oversell us something we didn’t want. We left the store having purchased a fantastic couch and will return again in the future.

I don’t often feel compelled to write reviews but I have to share the excellent service we had at Leon’s. My wife and I went to Leons looking to purchase a TV. Josh was the sales associate who assisted us. He was friendly, upbeat and professional. He cares about what you need and went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information required to make the right decision within our budget. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. This was a major purchase for our home and Josh made it a pleasant and satisfying shopping experience. Thanks Josh for your expertise! We’ll def consider Leon’s for our future needs.

I recently purchased a couch and a fridge from Tina Hamel Aschabar. I found Tina to be friendly, a real people person; providing service above and beyond the "standard" in an exceptional and professional manner. In addition, I refer Tina to all my friends!

Went to Leon's to purchase a sofa set and was very pleased with the whole experience! Nicole was very friendly and professional, she found exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. The availability was longer than I expected but it's exactly what I wanted so the wait time will be worth it! I highly recommend to go see Nicole as she made the whole experience just wonderful!

We were in need of a fridge and they were really helpful of us finding a new one and able to have it delivered in a short matter of time considering the pandemic and shortage of stuff in demand. They were also very kind to move our old fridge downstairs and bring in the new one.

A new stove was delivered with one broken knob (for the front element) and one crooked knob. Haven't been able to use one element at all! Nearly a month later and numerous phone calls and emails between Leon’s, authorized technician and Manufacture and is still being told by Leon’s to follow up myself when it should be their responsibility to ensure they deliver a product that isn't faulty. TERRIBLE customer service!

Needed a new sofa. We dealt with Tina A. She was amazing! Went above and beyond to get us a good sofa at a great price! She had a lot of great ideas for us and she knows her products! Do yourself a favour and ask for Tina A when you visit.

We were looking to buy few things and visited almost all the furniture stores in Thunder Bay.
Our journey came to an end when we visited Leons and helped by Hemant, he is really great, understood our requirement, explained pros and cons and finally helped us in selecting the perfect deals.
Hemant is a great human being and an amazing sales person, I would highly recommend visiting him @ Leons Furniture Thunder Bay.

Bought a mattress from Leon’s last week and their customer service is amazing! I got helped by a sales person named Honey Pillai and she was very kind and helpful in finding the perfect mattress for me. I recommend her for people who want a friendly and informative sales person. The warehouse employees were fast and efficient. Overall I am very satisfied with my experience with them. Will definitely consider Leon’s for my future purchases.

In store great experience! Staff is pleasant and more than help full but for out of town people with deliveries make sure your whole day is cleared - tome frame was 11am-2pm and didnt arrive until 7pm and everytime i called no one knew or had to call me back - with no call backs

Their employee messed up our Order because the incorrect sticker was on the stove we purchased and when we went to let them know they delivered the wrong stove they pretty much gave us no help, told us we will have to buy the stove we want at the current price which was significantly more money than the sales guy sold it to us for - the stove they delivered to us wasn't even on the sales floor - Customer service was terrible, they were aggressive and rude the women even laughed that "we thought we got that stove for that price" the manager proceeded to admit that they noticed they messed up yesterday and didn't let us know they just dropped off the wrong stove and admitted it happened to multiple people - it should not be the customers job to double check the item number match on the stove and sticker that's your employees job when they put in the order - Based off the service we received we ended up returning the stove and the Brick gave us unreal service and the stove we wanted at a discount (which they didn't have to do) because they felt bad for how poorly leon's treated us! So to the sales women, yes we did get that stove for that price! Would recommend going literally anywhere else

Just brought a mattress and dryer from the store.the sales person hemant help us alot in deciding what to buy that fits in our budgets.even the delivery persons was very cooperative and helpful. Excellent customer service

Worst service ever! I had had a broken fridge from them for about a week now. There store manager is verry rude. They refuse to fix it even tho the extended warranty was bought. Only had the fridge a few months. Never again will i buy anything from the store. Today i started a small clames lawsuit and will be serving them tuesday morning!

Absolutely abysmal service lately. I have been given the run around on products puchased in June. Furthermore, I upgraded my purchase to a move expensive product after being told they could get it here in 2 weeks. Now I'm being told end of November.
When i call to complain, they tell me they'll call me back in 10 minutes after they look into it, they don't bother calling back.i have to call them the next day.
The only positive about this store is Dino, if it wasn't for him I'd shop elsewhere.

I had a wonderful shopping experience today looking for some wall art for my new house. The staff were friendly and helpful! My sales associate offered many suggestions after i showed them where i wanted to possibly place my art.

I will say, when I was purchasing, I could hear the office team try their best to deescalate a customer who was extremely loud and abusive over the phone. It didnt seem like an easy situation for anyone, but my god, i would never swear and be so mean to people trying to do their jobs like that. Shame for who ever that was.

Leons isn't garbage because they sell expensive saw dust glued together where the corners of the tables aren't flush at 90 degrees- that's a typical big box furniture store. What makes them particularly bad is the fact that they will sell an $800 dishwasher on sale for $550 as a 'floor model sale'. What they don't tell you unless you speak to the manager is how that dishwasher is a returned product which leaks water. It should have been called the 'leaky returned model sale (delivery extra) '. Leons will sell you a $550 leaking dishwasher and won't be forward with that information AND they charge you 50$ to deliver that dishwasher (all new product is free delivery).

My husband and I were in Leon’s in Thunder Bay on Sep. 11/21 at about 4pm. We were looking for a dryer and washer. We wanted to know the final price with the discount and your associate needed to calculate everything on the computer to give us the final offer. We went with her, wait till she do calculation. She offered us something about 2200, which were more than homedepote offered us. We told her about it and asked if she wanted to ask the manager if we could negotiate the price. She called, manager said no, and it was fine. We said thank you, but we’ll go to another place. And she told us “thank you for wasting my time”. It was unexpected rude. We went to the manager to complaint. To be honest, looks like manager doesn’t care at all.
We did a lot of purchases last year in Leon’s and Bricks, but I believe today was our last visit to this market. Not only your prices are unreasonably high, delivery takes half a year (we were waiting for chairs 6 months, for couch 4 months), but also your employees are so rude.
No one from my family, friends or coworkers will go to Leon’s

I order a bunch of furniture back in April and was told that some would come in May and the rest around August. When May ended I gave the store a call and was told things were delayed until June/September and I'm now being told that the furniture won't arrive until August/October. If I knew it was going take six months to get my furniture I wouldn't have ordered it. I won't be buying from here again.

the quality of service is excellent! At the time of purchase, they also made arrangements for the items to be stored in the Scarborough warehouse for months:) big thank you for going above and beyond.

Purchased a small freezer here today phone. All over town wasted tons of time onhold for people who didn't seem to care wanted me to come into the store and look for myself but then come back and tell me there is no stock. Leon's treat me fantastic on the phone confirmed inventory and treated me fantastic thank you very much

Wish they had been able to price match for me. Seems a shame to have to purchase from Toronto location. Would have loved to have kept my purchase local. That being said "Dawn" provided great customer service and was a pleasue to deal with.

I recently bought a house and have had several large items delivered. Not every experience has been a good one, however Leon's just tries a little harder. I had my 4 hour window, sitting wondering if a severe rain storm would effect delivery. I received a call about an hour into my scheduled window from a super nice Customer Service Agent named Tarun. He explaining that unfortunately there was a chance that my delivery window might be pushed 1/2 hour later than expected. He was apologetic, empathetic and made me feel like Leon's remembered and cared about me post-purchase too. (Thanks to Jaden for inspiring the team!) It was nice to deal with a retailer that delivers on their promises and cares enough to inform you when they might fall a little short. Information makes a 4 hour window far less painful. I bought a washer in December 2019 it turned out to be a lemon I couldn’t get anywhere with Whirlpool if not for Jayden this matter would have not been Resolved. Her persistence and her willingness to go above and beyond is the reason I got a full credit from the company and was able to purchase another washer. Employees such as Jayden is why people shop at Leon’s Thunder Bay and will continue to do so.

Absolutely a wonderful experience! Tina was very knowledgeable and fantastic at what she does. Very quick to greet me at the door, and help me with all my shopping. Highly recommended and will always go back to her.

Great staff and very well priced furniture. Just bought a bed and very happy with whole process. Staff went extra mile to help me get my bed come earlier than available delivery dates. Love to visit them for my future home needs

Horrible, bought a sectional from the time I called to buy it issue after issue had to repaint my trim after delivery and the couch doesn't fit together I took pictures, they want more, they are ridiculous, It should have been done right when it was delivered. I am sure the delivery guys knew it didn't align properly. Stay away from here they don't care

Recently I was lucky and won a beautiful bedroom suite from Leon's. My wife was ecstatic when she saw the set. A queen size bed, large dresser with a large awesome mirror, as well as a matching end table. I was amazed at how much our new mattress improved our sleep. The delivery staff were friendly and knowledgeable also. All in all great quality products. I plan to purchase all future furniture and appliances from Leon's!

Wasn't too happy about the pressure to "upgrade " my purchase. If she had asked me one more time if I wanted insurance or some expensive cleaning kit. I was ready to walk away. Lucky for her she didn't.

Spent thousands of dollars on furniture there over the years.but would not give a loyal customer a deal on a mattress.not recommended.

The mattress I tried, liked and bought at the Tbay store is not the bed I have now. The bed I have is hard, very uncomfortable and has thin fabric. I requeated a new mattress and the manager said I could have the old dirty floor model. Not a solution. I will never shop at this store again for anything ever.
