Considering we were the last call of the day, and the weather was not good for the 2 young men delivering our fridge, they were very courteous and helpful in getting the fridge in our home.

This was an awesome place to do business! We purchased a 3 piece living room set. Rob the salesman was great. There was a small error on the documents and the office staff had everything resolved the next business day to our complete satisfaction.
Typically I don't like to buy from larger stores because you feel like you lose the personal service. Leon's Guelph proved that they do provide excellent personal service even though they are a large store. Well done Leon's!

Absolutely terrible experience. We had bought a sectional couch, two chairs & a dining room set from Leon's at the beginning of October with the confirmation that everything would be delivered within a month. We got the couch & chairs after about a month and a half which was okay (the couch pillows also came with large rust colour stains on them). However, the table and chairs were delayed. When we asked for an estimated delivery date we were told January.meanwhile when we ordered the set we were told November that is a quite the gap in time.

Moving forward, we got the protection package for the couch & chairs. A service appointment was made for the couch but not the chairs. I was told to follow-up with the store to ask them to add the chairs to the service, so I did. I got confirmation from the Leon's Guelph employee that they would contact the service company to add the chairs. The day before my spraying appointment I called the service company to make sure everything was good to go, and they stated the chairs were not added. I called the Leon's warranty department and was advised that Leon's Guelph did not change a code on their end resulting in all of this confusion and time wasted.

You would think when you spend thousands of dollars on furniture and $500 for protection service you would get decent customer service.

I will never buy from Leon's again, and I will be telling friends and family the same. My advice to anyone looking to buy furniture - save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Honestly, we ordered a couch in the middle of March and now they're saying it won't be here until end of June at the earliest.
They just keep moving the date back farther and farther. Originally we were told 6 weeks. I wish the sales associates were a little more honest about shipping times because otherwise we would not have ordered and I'm pretty sure we're going in this week to cancel.

Visited Leon's for the first time and was happy to see a large collection of home furniture. Since I visited during boxing day sale everything was priced quite attractively. Ended up buying a sofa bed and a big shout out to Amandeep Singh from Leon's staff who was extremely helpful.

Me and my girlfriend went in and purchased a couch back in march. We were told by our sales rep that the couch would be max a couple of months away and should have it by the end of June. Never once did the call with any time of update to inform us of our order and when it will be at the store. We called the store in June and they said it would now be end of July. We call close to end of July as we still had no update and they said it would be end of August now. We call again neither then end of August and the push it back to end of September. Now we are being told end of October.at this point I don’t know when I’m going to receive this couch and they wanted the payment in full to process the order. Had we known this wait time from the start we would have gladly gone somewhere else where would could actually have what we paid for when we needed it. Now we are without a couch and they don’t care to do anything to help. Buyers beware they will say whatever is needed to get you to buy.

Went into the store today to purchase a new tv. When we into the store, we were asked if we needed help with anything and said that we were just browsing at the moment. Surprisingly enough, our answer was accepted and we were not hounded or pressured into making a purchase. When we needed help, we asked and got it right away. Ended up leaving to do some price shopping and found the tv we wanted was the same price everywhere. Went back to Leon's because they were the only store who actually provided the type of service that we wanted and looked for the sales person we spoke to earlier to make sure that she got the commission for the sale. Will definitely go back to this location for future purchases

I purchased a $4000.00 fridge freezer from Leons. 2 years after we had it, the ice maker stopped working. I called Leons to ask if I could get someone from their service division to look at it, understanding that I was to pay. They said it was not under warranty and could not recommend anyone or help me with the issue.
I will never purchase anything from them again.

Quite surprised by how pleasant it was to buy sofas at Leon's in Guelph. Their showroom is nicely laid out and easy to try products in your style. The sales person made themselves known but then left you to it, waiting away from you in case you had questions. It was well done - the whole sales process was easy.

The delivery was very well executed, especially consiering that we have a long tricky driveway and they had to back in their truck. Once parked everything was in the house within minutes. What great delivery people, very competant and professional. Congratz to them.

We are people who actually hate shopping for things like furniture, but this was smooth and easy. I would recommend Leon's.

My sales person LAUREN was fantastic. She was very patient while I tried out literally every couch in the place. She was able to offer an amazing price, and she was very knowledgeable. The delivery took a while due to supply chain issues so absolutely not her fault nor Leon’s. I wasn’t in any rush so it worked out well for me. The delivery app is pretty cool, they were on time and very friendly. 5 stars from me. I love the stampede couch and chair, the colour is beautiful. I’ll be heading back to find tables, lamps, and an area rug next!

Very disappointed. They sell faulty mattresses and after they've verified with their own inspector that it sags in the middle, their response is "there's nothing we can do"

Janice was more than helpful in assisting us with getting any appliances & furniture we needed to help get our life back on track after experiencing so much loss due to a terrible tenant who destroyed our home.

We returned for the 60 day price match and received over $60 off our microwave.

Then returned to purchase an oven and Kim helped us find a great deal on a floor model LG gas oven. We are so happy with the service from Leon's - we highly recommend them!

My experience was good and I thought I got an amazing couch set.however the extended warranty is a scam. I noticed the material covering seat cushions was very tight, and within the first couple month would tear when sat on. Tried reaching and communicating with the warranty company after a year of trying to get a response they deemed it uncovered.even tho it states in the contract it is. Just a warning to save your money the extended warranty they offer is completely a joke

The customer service level has declined, as a female I was completely ignored by multiple staff I went into the store for a VIP sale and just wanted to pick out fabric colours and was so discussed that the sales staff did not even acknowledge me they walk past multiple times they greeted the others around me but did not even say hello to me and when i tied to get there attention was ignored even at the cash counter i had to ask multiple times for a manager before i was able to get any one to speak to me. Take your business to another location or store.

We entered the store looking for furniture for several rooms in our new home, we were greeted by Danielle.

Danielle was extremely helpful and friendly - she was attentive to our style and taste, and was able to find us items that were in stock for a quick delivery.

Highly recommend dealing with Danielle at this location! She was able to save us some money by bundling. Make sure you ask for Danielle!

Ordered a fridge December 20,2020 and as of today May 30th 2021 I have not received it. The delivery date continues to be changed. Early May I was told it's in the warehouse and will be delivered mid May. As of today I was told it's in production still and could be months more. Can't even purchase elsewhere as the fridge is 400.00 more after all this time. This has been fully paid for since December. DO NOT PURCHASE HERE unless you want the run around. (Update) received a refund and lost 370.00 having to purchase elsewhere.

Had purchased TV stand with fire place for 75” tv on 3rd week of February 2021 and was delivered on 29th feb 2021 in box. The cost was $1700. Upon opening the box, I saw that the back side of the tv stand was broken and complete back portion fixture was out of place. I called the customer service next day informing about the defect. I told them that I had purchased this stand as I wanted to gift it to my wife on our special day and with this broken piece it did not solve my purpose. The customer care said that she will replace the broken part in few weeks. I told her that if it takes more than a month, then please get it replaced or I will buy another item. She did not agree and her tone changed completely. Could not believe that Leon’s on their website claims to be very client centric and that they will do everything to make a customer happy. I even spoke to the customer service manager the same day and she in her hard tone said that I will have to wait no matter what even if it takes long to get it rectified. I was honestly taken by surprise the way I was handled. I told her to get it replaced as it was defective but she said LEON’S DO NOT TAKE their goods back even if it’s defective. I felt completely cheated and frustrated at this point as Leon’s was completely taking me for granted. I finally decided to wait and watch.

Today I called customer care after a month at 4pm to get an update and her reply was if I could resend the email with the defective/ broken part. (the email was already sent a month ago with the broken part) I realized that they had done nothing since that day to solve my issues. I asked the customer care to transfer to store manager and the reply was that store manager is busy on phone call and that he will call me back before 8pm or next day morning. As I’m typing it’s 10pm here and nobody cared to call me. Is the store manager so busy to attend to a customer who is waiting for his tv stand to be rectified/ replaced for more than 30 days.

Their return policy is the worst. I now understand why Leon’s have no proper return policy because they want to fool customers like me. Almost every big brand has return policy. My first purchase at Leon’s has turned out to be disastrous. I have now decided to take this matter legally if I do not get this replaced in this week. As a customer I feel cheated and no surprises that there have been many such instances in the past with other customers.

I request people purchasing from Leon’s to make a note of their return policy and not so customer friendly customer care.

Leon’s management: is this the way you treat your customers who has got defective product. Why can’t you get me replaced with another product? Is 30 days not enough for me to wait?

Went their earlier this evening with my wife to look at buying a new sofa. It was a good 5 - 10 minutes we were there before being approached by Jennifer. I like that, I've been to other furniture stores and they jump right on you. She was very helpful when we explained what we were looking for. More to the point, the service was great, we had a laugh and brought a sofa and arm chair on the spot.

I liked that she informed us of the pandemic situation and no promises on delivery times. We will be buying from there again.

Terrific team at Leon's Guelph.
Went into the store looking for a mattress and a sofa. Met with a great associate named Narmin who was very helpful and patient as I "tested" some different mattress options. Also extremely helpful in correcting an online web order I had placed that was having a few hiccups.

When it comes time for more furniture or appliances I will gladly head back to Leon's Guelph to shop there.

Will never buy from here again. They are great on sales, but horrible on delivery and service after the sale. They may have good prices and free delivery, but if anything goes wrong, they don't care. And if you are buying a mattress or box spring and expect the delivery people to take away the old ones, the sales person must give you a plastic bag for the old or they will not take it.they carry no extra bags in the delivery vehicle and will not come back. Parts to replace broken chair mechanism.waited 6 months to find out they ordered the wrong part and cannot get the right one.

I don't know what to say here really. Regret. That sums it up. Bought a $2,500 couch that had issues with materials on the reclining sections within a few months. I've contacted the store itself multiple times (over the last 5 months) and have not had any resolution, and the customer service is ultimately unresponsive. I was told this couch was 'great' and was assured it was a good purchase, but the fact that it gained many negative reviews and is now taken off the site doesn't line up. As much as I understand the impositions and restrictions that covid has put on all of us, it has been 5 months of looking for a resolution and having no response from Leon's. I regret the purchase itself, and am very disappointed in Leon's customer service here. (I will say, the folks who helped us initially in store were kind and friendly, which was nice.)

*Leon's has reached out to help resolve the issue. Things are a bit behind as the couch was discontinued, but they are working to get the parts. I will update/adjust the review when the resolution is complete.

I visited Leon's to purchase a specific Samsung TV and was greeted by a friendly young man ensuring that customers were screened properly before entering the store. Nick pointed me towards a lovely salesperson named Danielle, who was able to help me order the specific product I was searching for. I was pleased to hear that Leon's offers free delivery on this purchase, which helped me to make the decision to buy locally rather than order the TV online. I appreciate the excellent customer service me and my family received while in store and would be happy to return in the near future.

Don't buy furniture from Leon's at the moment, I ordered my furniture 2 months ago and still waiting for the delivery of my furniture. Every time I call them they make lame excuse of COVID-19. If you don't have anything in stock just tell your customer so that they don't make a deal with you at the first place. Now am stuck

Nicely laid out store with lots to look at. Could use a bit more variety, but there are lots of classic and usual pieces of furniture in this store if that's your style. My purchase went smoothly and without issue.

That being said, I will be thinking twice about setting foot in this Leon's again because the salespeople made me uncomfortable. I was meeting my partner at the store and I was greeted by a (very nice) salesperson who followed me around and asked if I was "looking for" every product I looked at - pillows, recliners, etc. I was just trying to walk around! I told him the situation - "No, thank you. I'm waiting for someone and we'll be looking at mattresses. " He proceeded to sit in a chair nearby at the ready.

When my partner had arrived, he had been intercepted by a second (very nice) salesperson in the mattress department. The sales guy was super enthusiastic and told us every mattress we tried was the best one ever. That was a little sus, but he was just doing his job.

It was nice that there were people nearby to answer questions, but PLEASE please please teach your salespeople to honor your customer's wishes to be left the heck alone while they're browsing! Both of the guys were nice people, but you're training them to be way too aggressive and I did not enjoy that.

I have purchased a few pieces from Leon’s Guelph through Danielle Reynolds and I have had a great experience. She is extremely patient, easy to work with, communicative, honest and not pushy. When I have needed to follow up on information regarding delivery etc. I did have to wait awhile for one of my couches but given the circumstances of the pandemic that is the case with most places regarding availability. Lately we hear a lot of negativity about everything. This time it’s not anything but positive. I recently was in need of new living room furniture. A new couch and love seat actually. I had looked and looked but it seemed the same story everywhere nothing was available because of Covid.
I went to Leon’s in Guelph where I was met by a young man named Jaweed.
This man upon meeting him was very professional and very nicely dressed. He was very polite and knowledgeable. I was very impressed. Little did I know he would continue to be impressive. He continued on to ask how he could help. He not only listened he heard my needs. I was desperate for a couch as I had absolutely nothing.
Jaweed searched patiently and we found the Wexner set was available but located in two locations. He communicated how he would set this up and told me he would call me when it was ready to be delivered. True to his word I received his call and the love seat and dining set were delivered.
The couch was coming from another location. Unfortunately it was damaged prior to delivery.
Jaweed with a little help from manager, I believe did the impossible.
Apparently there were none available anywhere and there was a waiting list.
Jaweed assured me he would find me one. He did just that, honestly I thought I was going to have to go without that couch. I was extremely happy when Jaweed called and gave me the delivery date for the couch.
Like I said earlier I was only impressed by this young man. He was kind considerate helpful knowledgeable and honest! I also found his work ethic second to none and I told him this. He modestly replied that’s my job I’m happy to help.
I feel Jaweed will go above and beyond every time to help any of his customers in any way he can. I feel Leon’s is lucky to employ him and I think his customers are fortunate to deal with him.

Bought furniture from the store met Duayne (sales) and Tarun (store manager) both thorough professionals, prompt and experienced. The stuff delivered as per time line but received 1 of the items damaged. Spoke with Tarun and got 1st call resolution along with prompt replacement the very same day. I would recommend the store coz of professional customer service and on the dot results offered by Tarun.

We purchased a mattress. Delivery was setup. Was told that they would bring a bag for the old one and move it out somewhere we wanted it. But do to COVID. They couldn’t remove it from our home. My wife called the night before. And confirmed that this was still the case. Delivery guys show up. No bag. Didn’t know anything about it. Wouldn’t move the old mattress. My wife has two broken wrists. Home alone. And it’s a king size. She told them to put new one back on the truck she would call Leon’s they were of no help. If service is what you expect AFTER the sale. Shop somewhere else

Was leery going back to purchase from them again as the couch we bought 8 years ago was not as good as they said it would be. Unlike the one in Kitchener, we were not jumped on like prey when we walked in. We were able to look for a bit before someone came up to us. I can't remember his name, but he let us look for a bit. Others came up to us also and helped, and they seemed to be ok when we looked for our original guy. He was honest it seemed and made everything easy. Last time I didnt realize that where I live is considered Guelph area for delivery, and the sales person got quite snitty when he saw that. I didn't even know there was one I Guelph at the time! Well.he doesn't have to worry anymore. We will go to guelph from now on.

I ordered a new Sealy plush mattress with the 90 day sleep guarantee, should we not like it, we could exchange it once. Well, we found it too hard for us and it wasn't even the " firm" one. So I went back to the store where I had dealt with Danielle. She was a wonderful salesgirl, no pressure at all! I told her we weren't in love with this new mattress as we needed something softer.
So, she took me on over to the Manager and although the mattress, another Sealy one wasn't on sale currently, they offered me the previous flyer sale price on it. I only paid just over an additional $100 from the other one I had bought as it was a more expensive mattress.
Their delivery was free in town.
The delivery drivers were courteous and removed their boots at the door.
I was extremely pleased with my experience and would highly recommend Danielle for any purchases!
I am hoping for some great nights sleep on this Sealy mattress! Thanks!

Poor customer service. When the purchase and everything was going well, they are great but if you have any real issues, the staff at Leon's becomes argumentative and doesn't fundamentally care about you. I had been a loyal customer for 20+ years and got into a disagreement about a small purchase. My loyalty and years of service meant nothing and was disregarded.

We had to step out to go to a last minute meeting during the same time as our scheduled delivery. So, we had a neighbour meet the delivery team for us and this is what she had to say: "If they ask you to give a review on the delivery guys, they were both extremely friendly, very precise where to drop off the items where they thought would be easy for you guys to move the old/new items and they took their shoes off without me even having to mention it and I'd give them a five star rating. "

I have never received such poor customer service in my life. I bought a mattress on Boxing Day and they told me the estimated delivery date would be around the 5th of January. Once the 5th rolled around I did not receive a phone call, so I called the store to find out when my mattress would be delivered. They proceeded to tell me that it wouldn’t be in until the end of the month. Jump forward three weeks towards the end of the month.and still no phone call. I then had to call the store AGAIN and a very rude customer service associate told me that it would be delivered on a certain date. And I asked if I could choose my date and she said no that I had already chosen the date she mentioned. I did not choose a date.and she proceeded to tell me I’m wrong and that if I wanted my mattress that it would be delivered on the date that she is providing me. The problem isn’t the date.it’s the lack of communication and the way their employees treat you.

Customer service is absolutely horrible. Bought a living room set of furniture. Was promised a delivery date at time of purchase; 2-3 weeks after ordering furniture. After 3.5 weeks I called to ask where it was and they gave me a new delivery date in another 2 weeks. That date came an no phone call, so I called again and was told it wouldn’t be in for another week and a half. The person on the other end of the phone couldn’t answer why it was delayed or why no one called. Still don’t have my furniture. Will never deal with Leon’s again. Terrible experience.

We've purchased quite a few items from Leons over the past couple years. Four years ago we purchased a mattress and noticed over time that it was not holding up and would not be lasting the ten years they suggest it should. We went to chat with Customer Service in Guelph and they sent out a technician right away to do some measurements and take some pictures. After a couple of weeks, we heard back (we did have to reach out a few times) but they were granting us a warranty replacement, which was amazing! We went and picked out a new mattress, had it delivered and they also took our old mattress away! Forever why I will never take my mattress purchases to an online site!
