I would strongly consider thinking twice before purchasing from Leon’s. We bought our couch there and after being promised by two separate sales reps on two separate occasions that the cushions wouldn’t lose their shape.they did exactly that. After a month of use the couch is uncomfortable. The cushions don’t line up as they are rippling and uneven. If you sit in certain areas of the couch, it feels like you’re falling into the back of it, specifically the chaise part. The fabric also looks completely worn and we’ve had it for a year.

If you do choose to shop at Leon’s, definitely do NOT purchase the warranty. We never purchase warranties, but the sale rep talked it up so much and since we were having a baby it was a “must. ” After making a claim, I’m still not exactly sure what it covers. Our daughter accidentally got sick all over one of the cushions which we were told by the sales rep that “you can swap the cushions in and out as much as you like during the 5-year warranty – no questions asked. ” To the contrary – there are a lot of questions asked. Phone calls, emails, photos sent, etc.but it’s not covered.

The delivery guys also made a hole in the drywall as well as one of the interior doors upon install. I understand accidents can happen but thinking back its just another thing that is frustrating about the whole process.

Now we own a warped couch that smells like sour milk barf and there’s nothing we can do about it. Consider yourself warned!

Leon's was great to deal with! So happy with all the furniture I purchased! Everyone was so amazing to deal with from the sales team to the delivery team! I will be buying all my furniture from Leon's going forward!

Amber Harman took excellent care of us for the purchase of a mattress for our cottage guest room, ensuring delivery before guests arrived for Canada Day! Delivery team was fantastic too and the mattress is sooo comfortable. We are going to purchase a king-sized version of this mattress to replace the terrible Casper one we have now in the primary bedroom! Excellent service and product quality!

We went to Leon’s to look at couches and Brigham greeted us. He was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. He left us alone when we wanted to browse but was right there if we had any questions. We found a couch we liked and where lucky enough to have it delivered the following day! I would highly recommend Leon’s and Brigham along with any of their staff who all seem to be amazing.

Amber Harnum was absolutely amazing. We have had trouble finding furniture that was suitable for our family room. Amber went above and beyond to help us. Her honesty and understanding was awesome. Not once did she pressure us into buying. She was so helpful in helping us resolve our problem with previous furniture we purchased. We felt like we were getting the down east hospitality. Thank you Amber for representing Leon's so well.

I had an amazing experience at Leon’s in Peterborough. I have a large livingroom but a small entrance. The sales associate Olena went above and beyond to help determine if the sectional would fit in. She even had person from the warehouse/delivery to come look at sectional and measurements of entrance. Everyone was so helpful.

Hi there. I live in Huntsville, Ontario and two very dear friends of mine are relocating to the Applewood Retirement Residence in Peterborough this Friday. They live in Port Credit and this is a big move for them. Last week I visited them at their home and they mentioned that they needed to change their sleeping arrangements to twin beds. Yes I had less than 10 days to figure this out and help them! An then I talked to Amber Harman in the bedding department at your store. She was helpful, informative and helped me out tremendously! She found the products I needed from your stock, made the arrangements with ARR for delivery before my friends move and also helped me with mattress covers etc. What a WONDERFUL experience! I know why Leon's is the family store! THANK YOU Amber!

Wow, third times a charm. Not! We ordered our home appliances from Leon's over a year ago. Some items were unavailable or delayed understandably due to covid. First our fridge was delivered late with damage so we didn't accept delivery and we did receive a new fridge finally. Our microwave was also damaged and they sent out someone to fix it because it would completely shut off after running for less than 3 minutes. Apparently it had been dropped in transit because the fan that cools the magnetron was bent and not providing any cooling to this component which was overheating the microwave. Yikes! Anyway after waiting months for the repair we were finally told we'd just be sent a new microwave which we again had to wait several more months for. We just received our much awaited replacement only to find the side was caved in like it too had been abused in shipping. I will wait to see if Leons can make the situation right but I'd advise anyone reading these reviews to strongly reconsider your choice of home furnishings and appliances vendor based solely on the experience I've had up to this point. I'm honestly not holding out much hope the Leon's management will be able to change my mind. Spend your money elsewhere.

Bought a new Samsung washer & dryer yesterday and it was delivered today. Items were in-stock as promised, so we are back in business in under 24 hours! Sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful; found a great deal with the features we needed.

Delivery guys were great. They were very friendly and showed up when they said they would!

Good Afternoon
This morning my Sofa was delivered by two young men, namely
Kyle and Cooper.
These gentlemen did a super job and were so polite and friendly.
It wasn't an easy job getting my sofa into the house but these
fellows never gave up and were so positive.
These days when it's hard to find good workers or even people
who want to work, it was heartwarming to meet Kyle and Cooper.
Keep employing workers like them.

It is said companies don’t sell anything and it’s their advertising and promotions that bring you in.
Leon’s did their job. We went to look for bedding. We met Amber Harman who was pleasant and knowledgeable and had a very high level of customer service. She went out of her way to handle a very demanding client. We bought a split-king mattress c/w a moveable frame.
On November 15 we had occasion to purchase again. I emailed Amber again (about 15 times) for a very simple purchase. She responded almost immediately each time. She demonstrated fantastic customer service. She went out of her way to make this purchase seamless. WOW!
Thank you Amber. I am looking to find something else to purchase from you. I promise not to be a colossal pain next time.

We paid for a fridge in Feb 2022, although we were promissed to receive it in one month, never received it. We are in August 2022 and no fridge. No updates from sales people, despite mutiple phone calls they did not even have any equal price replacement. It was very apparent that they did not have the fridge in the first place and they sold us a ghost fridge. They were trying to replace it with another one $300 to $400 more. Cancelled my order after wasting 6 months!

Do not waste your money. My couch has been broken for 3+ months, I did not receive a refund nor an order to fix my couch. They keep blaming the manufacturer, meanwhile I have been sitting on the floor. My couch is still under warranty. Run! Go somewhere else!

Excellent experience buying with the team at Leon’s Peterborough. The support in reviewing, recommending appliances, comparing options, and education made the decision process so smooth.

The team clearly communicated on shipment and delivery timing, and made sure delivery dates and times worked based on our schedules.

The delivery was great, the guys were super friendly, put down floor runners and took care when moving the units in.

I highly recommend Leon’s Peterborough for your appliances.

We bought a sectional and ordered a chair and ottoman which we picked a fabric to compliment the sofa. They delivered the sofa 2 weeks after we purchased everything, but they said the chair and ottoman wouldn't come for 2 to 3 months.
A month after purchasing everything, the salesman who looked after us called to say the ottoman was discontinued. I don't know how they didn't know this before the sofa was delivered. They should have known as soon as the order was placed. The salesman tried to sell us a recliner which is exactly what I said I didn't like or want. Not very happy with my experience
