We had a fantastic experience at Leon's Orillia, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Perrin. Her patience and professionalism truly stood out as we navigated through our indecisiveness and wandered around the store. Perrin went above and beyond to help us find numerous options that perfectly met our needs. She assisted us in every aspect of our shopping journey, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable. We greatly appreciate her dedication to customer satisfaction. Leon's Orillia is lucky to have such a valuable team member.

Shout out to the lovely Sherrie! She helped me out with everything. She’s very pleasant and knowledgeable and I’m so glad that I had her as my guide while purchasing my own bed for the first time! I’d recommend shopping there to anyone- especially if Sherrie is there to help!

Liars. I specifically told John a sales person that our road is difficult to navigate prior to committing to my 9k appliance order. Hi lied and said they had various trucks and it would not be a problem to deliver. He assured me in person, on the phone and by email that they would send an appropriate truck. Clearly a salesperson just trying to make a buck any way he can. He ignored my email on Delivery day obviously because he never intended to deliver. We are building on a private road. Timbermart and Muskoka Lumber deliver here almost daily with no problems. The day Leons was supposed to deliver, their lazy staff simply refused to come up the road. They sent pictures of ice on the road to their boss to get out of having to do their job! This is Muskoka! Not Florida. There were 9 trucks already up here that day. These jerks demand payment up front and then just dont deliver. 3 days before Christmas they have left us high and dry. Leonard whom I assume is a manager or something tried to blame anything but themselves. He also lied and told me I would get my refund today. They are now closed for two days holding my money in their account. Fraud and theft is what this is. I got up my "trecherous" road today in my moms mini van with a 15 foot Christmas tree strapped to the roof. Maybe Leons Orillia needs to get some proper drivers and proper equipment if you are in the business of delivering furniture and appliances in this area. Good work Orillia Leon's. Sorry is NOT good enough. What a complete let down. I will take my business elsewhere. **NOTE: Leon's Corporate seems to respond to complaints on here saying "thanks for reaching out". I'm not reaching out Leon's. THEY ALSO TO THIS DAY 4 YEARS LATER KEEP SPAMMING ME WITH ROBO CALLS! GET A GRIP. SO UNPROFESSIONAL.

Overall, a frustrating experience. While there was a significant delay in our delivery, this was not the main issue. It was the lack of communication and missing materials. I will need to carefully consider visiting another Leon's location for purchases again.

Below is a summary of my experience.
On July 25th 2023 we visited the Leon's store located in Orillia, Ontario. We placed an order for a dining room table set and Ed Szymanski was the customer service representative who helped us complete the purchase.
We were informed by Ed (and documented in our Sales Order) that the estimated ETA for the dining table set would be the beginning of September 2023.

On September 9th 2023, I had yet to receive any update and I contacted Leon's. I was informed that the table top was in Owen Sound, the bench had arrived in Orillia, but that the chairs were not yet available. I was informed that Ed would reach out to me to provide an update. Ed never reached out to me after this call.

On September 19th 2023, I once again had yet to receive any update so I reached back out to Leon's. I was informed that the order still was not ready but that the chairs would be expected to arrive within 1-2 weeks (by Sept 26 - Oct 3). I was informed once again that Ed would call me to set up a delivery time. Ed never called me.

By October 4th 2023, I had become quite frustrated. Not so much with the delay in delivery of our table but more so the lack of communication. It was frustrating that not once had I been contacted by Ed or anyone from Leon's to provide an update. I can understand delays but what makes it a difficult experience is the lack of communication and having to continue reaching out to request an update. Finally, I was informed that the dining set could be delivered on October 7th. Due to being out of the country, I rescheduled the delivery to occur on October 21st.

We were informed by Ed at the time of purchase that the dining set would be assembled upon delivery. The two nice gentlemen that dropped the set off told us assembly was not included and we now had to build the dining room set ourselves. Furthermore, the dining set was delivered and was missing all 8 bolts to attach the legs to the table top (all bolts were received for the bench and chairs). After spending $1700.00, it was surprising that Leon's could not ensure all bolts were included.

While we are certainly happy with our table set and the fact that 2 customer service representatives have since reached out about our experience, we will be hesitant to continue purchasing from this location.

I love going to Leon's the person that helped me his name was Michael he's fantastic young guy eager energetic I bought a couch and now I'm going to be buying a fridge and he is my salesperson he's gone over the moon to help me but if you want a good Leon store you really do need to go to the one in Orillia Ontario the people are so nice and very very helpful go check it out tell them I sent you have a great day

Worst customer service experience ever! Let me list only a few;
1- No details received from the orginal sales person regarding exactly how the 200 day return policy works on a very expensive mattress we purchased.
2- No communication received regarding the delivery of the furniture purchased. I had to call the store the day prior to the delivery date only to find out that the delivery date had been changed to 2 months later.
3- We ordered pillows and had to follow-up on when they would be in for pick-up. On the 4th call from me, again, no communication, I was advised that they were in for pick-up. When I got to the store, staff brought me two horrible looking and feeling pillows that apparently were given to me at no charge however, these were not the pillows I ordered. Apparently, another sales person neglected to even place the order so we waited for, and place calls for over a month for nothing.
All in all, a 4 month ordeal was extremely unsatisfactory and unacceptable with no sort of compensation received for this horrendous customer service experience. We spent thousands of dollars for our purchase and I have been a loyal customer for some 20 years and will now end that my customer-furniture store relationship with Leon's.

We recently made a purchase and had the pleasure of dealing with Austin, he was fantastic! Friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful.

*Update. The after sales customer service has definitely taken the shine off my wonderful sales experience. I have called twice, on June 13 and 14. Both times they very nicely told me that someone would call me back. I'm still waiting.

My 5 star review for Austin stands. My overall satisfaction with this store is diminishing.

*Update after delivery. This will be my last purchase from Leons. The leather sectional arrived defective from the manufacturer. The service department is attempting to make this right but the idea of repairing 80% of a brand new couch is ridiculous. I have paid too much to receive such a poor quality item. The only solution I will be happy with is a full refund. Please refer me to someone who can start that process and have this couch returned to the manufacturer. I'm aware that some manufacturers do not provide a warranty but Leon's should stand behind their products. I noticed they don't even sell the couch anymore, unless it's just not on the website. DO NOT PURCHASE JACKSON-CATNAPPER products, they are terrible quality. The manufacturer damage to this couch includes staples through the leather, poor quality fill and not enough of it. Puckered leather, drooping dust covers with holes or cuts in the material. The back of the chaise is very loose and barely attached. Imperfections in the grain surface of the leather. Broken stitching. Accent pillows with broken zippers. This couch should have never passed quality control; yet here it is, delivered to my living room. To be informed that I must pay a 50% restocking fee to return an item so heavily damaged is completely ridiculous. I didn't just change my mind, I received a sub par product. This is not what I paid for.

The sales staff was great. They let you browse around without being pushy. Perin was great. Explained all the process for purchases. Bought a bed frame and mattress and a couch.

Just had to say customer service was awesome today, helpful and considerate, John had an answer to all my questions. Today I was so happy with my purchase, everything I bought was on sale, the whole show room has been revamped and is amazing, I spent 2 hours walking though and enjoyed it I will be going back

Mike Watson is an awesome person and salesman. He came in on his day off to look after us. We purchased a washer and he got a fast delivery for us. We’ve previously dealt with Mike when we were buying appliances for our cottage. He’s incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable about Leon’s products. We would recommend Mike and Leon’s to anyone.

We honestly tortured our salesman John Dunn for at lease 4 visits. He was so patient and always friendly. Because of him we
ended up purchasing living room furniture for our new home. We will definitely be coming back to see John. He's friendly and not pushy at all. I would definitely recommend Leon's Orillia and dealing with John Dunn. Thank you John for all your help and patience. Lauren and Chris Wright.

We recently purchased a new sofa and ottoman and our sales person John Dunn was absolutely excellent to deal with. He could not have been more helpful and has made every effort to ensure that we have
been satisfied with our purchase. We had to wait a few weeks for our purchase to arrive and he called us to arrange delivery when our furniture arrived. On the agreed upon delivery date, the men brought the large piece of the sectional in and it would not fit in the elevator so it meant that they would have to carry it up the stairs to the fourth floor. The guy who seemed to be in charge said that he would not deliver it because it was 4: 45pm and he was done at 5: 00pm and he has had a long day. He said that we would have to go back to the store and purchase a smaller item. He put our furniture back on the truck and so we immediately went to the store. We explained what had happened and we were told that the driver had said that we had refused the delivery. Not true! If we were to return our furniture there would have been a 900 dollar restocking fee. The staff in the store were excellent but in particular was another delivery guy named Matt. He immediately told us that he was familiar with our building and that he saw no issues in delivery. He told us that he would take our furniture off the other truck and put it in his and he would deliver it the next day. Matt and his helper showed up as promised and delivered our furniture without a problem. The 5 star review is because of John and Matt in particular and certainly not because of the first delivery guys.

Me and my wife purchased a sectional from Leon's in Orillia. After a few hiccups with the manufacturer and our sales associate we received our couch today.

Matt and Dameon delivered our couch extremely quickly, and easily maneuvered the tight space I requested of them! Although my experience with the sales associates was at times frustrating. The friendliness, efficiency, and quality of Matt and Dameon's work earned this business a 5 star. Thanks again boys, I hope you two are recognized and appreciated for your hard and friendly work!

You sent the truck to the wrong address but that was your problem. Otherwise all was very good. The 2 men on the truck did an excellent job.

Update to below
I told my husband IF NECESSARY, to get the refund for the second side table back.let them keep the $125 restocking fee. I can’t believe they actually demanded that!
So, we were refunded $942.with this company, I’m surprised we got that! NEVER AGAIN! Do not buy here! They don’t care about losing business!
Having said all of this, my husband dealt with the sales manager Trish who was professional, pleasant and effective in dealing with this. We give her 5 * realizing she had to follow company policy.

One year ago we bought a set of bedroom side tables. One came damaged. We were told to keep it until they could replace it.
We called nearly every month to check status, always told it hadn't come in. We were also told to keep both and use.
Today we are returning both. After all, how can you use only one?
The worst part of this experience was that they SAID they’d update us regularly on the status, they NEVER did.not once.
At one point, we went in and they said they’d accept both back. We decided to give them a year. Times up!
I will write later to let you know how the return went. If it goes well, I’ll update the star rating…I am expecting the worst.

Matt Black and Damian Kerr from the Orillia Leons store
are the best delivery guys ever.when it looked like my couch would not fit they managed to figure a way without doing any damage to my new couch. I was thrilled.these two young men are the very best. I give them a 10. Thanks Leons for sending two experienced furniture movers they made my day!
