Fantastic delivery people! They came to the door to let me know they arrived. They removed all of the packaging and took it with them. They brought the furniture in, attached the legs, and assembled it in the area I wanted it.

They asked if I would like the freezer to come out of the box I said yes and they took the box. Most places these days don't take the boxes. They don't even break them down. They just drop the items and leftI appreciate what they did. They were also wearing booties on their boots.

Today Leon's truck from Leon's Scarborough came to my house to bring a dresser for my wife. Very very bad customer service and unprofessional delivery people. My Wife is 7 months Pregnant and dresser was for her baby room. They didn't want to do anything or wait for my wife's decision cause there was a big chip on the back. She said she will be back cause she wanted to make a call to a manager, she comes back out and the dresser was already on the truck and they were leaving without my wife's consent for them to do that. No cloth to protect the dresser or anything rolled it back on the truck with no protection on it at all. Literally here for like 2 minutes not helping us out in any way kept brushing us off. Not happy at all with this delivery from Scarborough at all. Usually this never happens to us but today we got the worst delivery people

We purchased 2 couches from Leon's Whitby. The sales woman gave us our space browse and provided advice when needed. They had great deals on what we bought. The first couch was in stock and delivered as promised 3 days later. Very happy with everything so far.

I came into Leon’s looking for an accent chair & new sofa bed.

My sales associate Sattar was very helpful and patient.

He showed me some really comfortable accent chairs. I took a while to decide on the furniture I wanted yet he remained patient every step of the way.

This store had a great selection of furniture and great prices.

I ended up buying a navy blue sofa couch & an accent chair to match.

We just had our furniture delivered and as always a great pleasure to do business with Leons. On time and with Leons new delivery tracker you can see in real-time when they will be arriving. We had 2 trucks pull up to our house and 3 men had our furniture in our house and set up within minutes. It was a great experience.

Worst experience buying a TV stand. Thought I was buying a brand new stand and discover after carrying the heavy box up three flights of stairs and assembling it that one piece was totally rusted and others had scratches and damage. Took it apart and drove it back to return which was a total waste of our weekend. When we spoke to customer service they said they would give another stand, deliver and ASSEMBLE. The stand was delivered but no one from tech called, so I call to follow up to discover the manager would not approve the assembly! Thanks for the customer service LEONS! So at this point we are fed up and decide let’s just assemble so bring it up three flights of stairs again, this time I pulled all the pieces out to inspect because I’m not doing the assembling and taking apart again, and it’s now not a surprise that it’s got pieces that were used, scratched up and rusted, AGAIN! Now I’m waiting on my refund and will NEVER walk into a LEONS! Poor products and Poor Customer Service! If you value your time and products, stay away from this place. I wish I read the reviews before I went here, seems a lot of people got damaged products.

So far no complaints with Leons. Got all my stuff on time and the delivery drivers are really courteous and they take the packaging away and bring it in your house they take their shoes off and they're very careful. Their return policy was good. I received a defective Mattress and they were quick to replace the mattress with a new one.

I received my sofas from Leon’s. The delivery persons took care of things very well. They placed the sofas on the space we told them. Overall great experience with the delivery compared to all the other deliveries I received in the past few Months.

I made a purchase since September 2021 for a furniture set and my bedroom set both of which have not been placed on delivery as promised. I'm expecting family over for the holiday and I was also promised a call back from the manager. Still waiting on that call.
Last time I'm doing business here. Unprofessional and disloyal to customers. I can't believe I've gone months now with eating off my floor. I don't even have a functional space due to lack or furnishing.
What bothers me the most. I'm paying biweekly installments for something I don't even have.

Assembly is partial and incomplete. The last sofa is not locked.its free moving. Not ALL USB ARE FUNCTIONAL.feels like it's not properly connected.they left one adaptor and I don't know where it goes.aprtfrom careful and courteous.i doubt they knew how to assembled.one more inferior quality from Leons

Worst experience and terrible quality. Purchased mattress, box spring, frame, and headboard from here. First the box spring came defective, the next delivery was 3 days later. Delivery driver called to let me know they will arrive in 15 minutes and asked that I wait downstairs to provide a service elevator. They did not show up for an hour. After receiving new box spring when I went to assemble, the frame also turned out to be defective. I called Leon’s again Friday morning and they said they would call me back shortly, few hours later no call so I called again. The rep then said she put in a work order and gave me the technicians phone number saying I should call him if he doesn’t call me. When calling the technician, there was no response. I called customer service again Sunday and they said they would call me back Monday morning. Come today, they did not call and I had to call again. Upon calling they informed me they do not have a technician available and do not know when he will become available and I should call him again. It is ridiculous that two items in the same order came defective and Leon’s is so unwilling to help. The issue has come from the store but I am spending my time chasing them to fix it. After spending hours on the phone, they have agreed to send a technician but he will not touch the product just direct us on “how to put it together” even though I have informed them MULTIPLE times that it is defective. Have been sleeping on the floor due to this as I had to get rid of my bed to make room for the new one. Apartment looks like a warehouse and have no idea when this will be resolved. Will never shop at a Leon’s again and would definitely never recommend to anyone else.

Absolutely horrible service. The associates there seem to be making decisions on behalf of the customers, without making the effort to keep us informed. Left messages for multiple people yet it seems like no action is being taken. I understand that COVID has caused delays but there are limits.

Massive location. Staff are clearly on commission and will follow you around. One individual was on my shoulder to the point I had to tell him to leave us alone, we will ask for help when we need it.

Aftab was very helpful with getting me my employee discount during this COVID-19. Since I am unable to go into the store to show my details. Very satisfied with the service today.

UPDATE: After my recliner broke within the warranty period. I called on October 15th and reported my incident. I was told a service person would call me in 4-5 days to schedule an appointment.

Almost two weeks after my initial call no answer. Called again and was hung up on and then called back today only to be on hold for over 10 minutes.
Very disappointed as it seems like they don't care once they already have your money.

UPDATE # 2 - Technician came two week after initial call. He said he needed to order a part and will call me after the part comes in. I call back a week later and find out that the Technician didn't even file the report yet! It's coming up to one month that I haven't had a working recliner in the first year of purchase. I don't think I will be buying from Leon's again. Hopefully this will be fixed by Christmas but at this rate I doubt it.

Update # 3 - After two more visits by the technician it has finally been resolved. It was resolved about a week or two ago to this update.

Ordered couches months ago and at first they delivered the wrong one, took it back and told us to wait 2 weeks. It had a small rip and the stuffing was coming out already but we really liked the look so we decided to wait for a replacement, several weeks passed and they kept asking us to wait until we had to go in person once more to complain. Customer service told us to just "cancel our order" as if we hadn't spent months waiting. Super unprofessional and for the price you're paying, you are not receiving the service or quality. Very hit or miss and disappointing, we used to shop here a lot but this experience has changed our mind.

Had to buy a sofa and needed it to be delivered within two days, Anand was extremely helpful and made the whole transaction a breeze. Not only he helped to find us a nice sofa, he also handled the whole financing professionally. It was a pleasure dealing with Leon’s Scarborough. The delivery was on time as promised and I highly recommend this place.

Great place, has lots of options on display. The catch is, almost nothing is in stock.

And I get it, it's not their fault, global supply chain issues and what not, but it would be nice to have some sort of visual cue as to what's in stock and what's not instead of having to ask about everything you like to a sales person.

The sales persons milling about are also strange, talking to each other loudly in various languages. I'm sure I heard one of them complaining to a guy that looked like a manager about another one who was spending too much time texting, that's a weird atmosphere to work or shop in.

We got randomly assigned someone named Rose. She was nice. Very helpful and professional. I wish we could have bought the bed we liked, but alas we won't be able to wait till January.

Leon’s is always my favourite furniture store.one of the big reason I like is most as they do price match, free delivery as well as hallway. Such a big store with lots a collections.

Waited over 2 months for my couch, called a few times to Hisham; sales agent who sold me the couch. Called, emailed, left a voice mail without any return. Terrible customer service.

Eventually told me my couch will come in another 6 months!

Future buyers beware. Tylers comment below has no mention of the poor customer service received by one of the sales agents.

We ordered a sofa and rug three weeks ago. Delivery was promised as 2-3 weeks. We sold our old sofa and rug in good faith and expected delivery, which was to be from Barrie for the sofa and Scarborough for the rug. Definitely not from China. The disappointment is not only the non- delivery, but the lack of transparency and the run- around. We were told for over a week now both by the salesperson and customer service that the sofa is on the truck- if this truck still has our sofa for over a week, how is poor, poor Leon making any profit? (the money was charged at the point of purchase, not at delivery) Nobody seems to have the faintest idea where the merchandise is and when it will be delivered to its paid customers.

Very disappointed! Getting help in an empty showroom almost impossible! Than trying to call in to ask a question was the worst experience! Needless to say, took my business elsewhere and bought a beautiful sofa! Thank Arrow furniture for the much more pleasant and professional service! Will never go back to Leon's, and we have bought quite a bit there over the years.

Advertising products they don’t have
I bought that’s a month ago. They said delivery was June 29th. No one called me up to the date. So I called then I was told it was gonna be delivered in august. No respect for the customer. Do not care. This is the second time I get bad service from Leon’s. I’m never buying anything here again.

Ordered 1 small item online, customer service has no coordination at all and is just drawing names from a basket. Waiting times could exceed an hour and at this point, might as well not order online, and just shop in store instead. Waste of time standing there.

Ordered a sectional in November, did not come in until June (7 months later). Delivery truck comes and security needed to validate their visit, left immediately without waiting the 10 mins grace period despite being told by security to standby. Within a minute the property manager approved but driver drove off without notifying security. When calling the driver, would not pick up. This is within MINUTES! Called Scarborough location and manager would not get on phone instead was told they would call me back! Telling me I have to reschedule when it’s been only 5 mins since the driver left. Such bad service and even worse they would contract these truck drivers who do not follow protocol and will leave as it suits them!

The worst customer experience I have ever had.
I ordered a sofa bed in March 2021. They told me it will be delivered in 8-10 weeks. 2 month later they said it is delayed to mid-June. Then to July, then to mid-August. End of june they called me to the store to change my mattress. I went to the store then they said they did a mistake, they called a wrong customer and I need to wait at least one more months. I wanted to talk to the store manager. He didn't even show up.
I've never had such a bad experience. I will never purchase anything from neither this store, nor any other store of Leon's.

Good store with vast selection good furniture for a house. A bit shocked paper invoices/order sheets are used, probably the only store I've ever seen still using paper as its 2021 now.

My dishwasher broke down and I needed one as soon as possible. I looked at different stores and it was very difficult to find any in stock due to the pandemic. This was the only store that was able to locate the model that I was looking for. Since I needed one as soon as possible, the associate suggested that we process my order so we can guarantee the last item in stock at another location. I went there right after and brought it home. I’m so glad this was suggested to me so I didn’t waste time going around looking for a dishwasher and losing my chance at getting one!

We had called customer service for help on a damaged item.the person who picked up, Dilsheen was a really unhelpful and rude lady she had been very rude to me and wouldnt listen to what i was trying to say and would constantly blame the damage on me.i am going to email the manager about a complaint and hopefully they read this and follow up with me. I never expected that customer service would treat their customer like this.as per your suggestion we called to talk to you but you were off so we talked to mr. Edward and he is helping us.this isnt on my account it is on my dads.hopefully you can look into this lady and her attitude.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE & RUDE UNEDUCATED STAFF: Leon's on a rare occasion has some nice looking pieces but, of poor quality. During their sales event 8 months ago I decided to take a chance and purchase a dinning set, bedroom set and some additional small pieces around the house. After 8 MONTHS, 5 deliveries, rude staff members who don't know how to speak to clients, wall damages, door damage, railing damage, hardwood floor and stair damage, I was given permission to go to the warehouse at this location to see my pieces and inspect them before arrival at my home. I was being helped or lack thereof by a man named *Waseem* now as I walked into the customer service lounge area this is what I observed as a client. The workers doing absolutely no work but talking about amongst themselves loudly about their personal life right infront of clients. Not answering phone calls, emails nor helping cx in anyway just passing by time and sitting on their behinds. They talked about other clients in an ill-mannered way even though customers of theirs were sitting in the same vicinity. These are the people that are handling your money, private information about your accounts and your needs. Very unprofessional and quite sloppy if you ask me. When *Waseem* approached me he kept asking me what was wrong with the previous items and how bad were they which, I was quite unclear as to why until.when he lead me to the warehouse area and during the unboxing when I said I didn't like that there was a dent in the siding on my bed frame to the point that the wood was crumbling he said "I'm not bringing a replacement item to open. This is not a defect it is how it comes. I have no time for this. " When asked that we want to see other items he said "no, no, no" *Waseem* just wasted my time waiting on the waiting room even though they knew I was coming was rude and acted as though I was asking him to do something out of the scopes of his job. Like he was doing me some kind of favor. If you don't like your job change it but, don't being your filthy attitude and dissatisfaction to me. At the end of the day I was a paying customer who gives him and his company business in turn ensuring he has his job and pay. Leon's and including this location especially will throw in your eyes a bunch of promises and not deliver. They will damage your home before giving you good quality furniture. The reason is because their warehouse staff are small skinny kids who can't lift if their life depended on it. Meanwhile while waiting on the waiting area I had 4 other clients come in experiencing worse and equal to the damages that I recieved in my home and not even close to the quality of furniture or appliances they were promised. Leon's company is a hack company ready to take your money and not deliver. *Waseem* should get fired for his poor quality of work.

The worst store, if you are planning buying something for your home, never come here. A waste of time plus bad experience. Poor customer service from staff, very unfriendly. Bad layout in the store for sofa, bad, wash machine and everything. Close so early at 6 for Saturday. They dont want make you happy at all. Bad location, not entering from Markham road at all.

Saw some negative reviews online, am happy to say, it was the opposite. Hisham is a very patient salesman with lots of ideas regarding products and tastes. The furniture arrived on time, and the delivery guys were very careful with the walls and items they were delivering. Have no hesitation to revisit.

Very nice staff and good customer service. The reason I am giving one star to this company is that their products are really bad. Having said that they sold us 5 years warranty on the leather sofas I bought for my parents. After requesting a service for the holes in the sofa we were told that they are not responsible if that is considered regular wear and tare. This in fact was an accident by my dad and I tried to explain it but they said they need to send someone over.after two times back and forth we were told that the insurance we bought is not for accident but it is in case the sofas were broken or ripped by themselves. I asked for documentation so we can let go of it and no one has ever contacted us back. Do not get into buying any kind of insurance from them since in my experience that is absolutely nothing but a scam to charge your for their over priced furniture. Much love.

After a disappointing experience at another Leons location, I tried the Leon’s in Scarborough as it is close my work. The Salesperson Pramod helped me out, he was kind and very helpful. I explained to him what previously happened at the other Leon’s and how frustrated I was, he went on to explain that the other salesperson should not have said misleading things (delivery issue). Pramod went a step further and called the delivery department to try and accommodate for my small delivery window, he didn’t make any promises but said they would do their best. We chose a time and they “delivered”:)
I am enjoying my couch and my new mattress. I LOVE my new mattress! Oh ya and the delivery team was very efficient, working in a small space and being very careful not to break anything. Thanks to the Scarborough team! Oh ya they have a huge Clearance section at this location! I bought everything new and at full price, and to make the story even better, the next day the couch was half off! They refunded the difference.again great work Leon’s team at Scarborough!:)

There is a 3inch metal rod protruding from the couch. It's quite sharp. Hasn't been a year since purchase. Very disappointing for new sectional.
Overpriced for the poor quality. Avoid Leon's furniture, unless you pay hundreds for a "protection plan"

One of most bad experiences if u are buying a clearance item Leon as a outsource a person called Ravi who deal the deliveries after so many compalaints from customers still Leon allies him come inside solicit the customer and make money
As female don’t ask for delivery he come straight inside Ted house and screaming do
Loudly my kids are sleeping he never care I complaints to his behaviour they don’t care because he gives the commission to sales people
I will call consumer protection company so Leon will stop entering him store and approaching vulnerable female I wanted to call cops but he ran away me bhupinder from Leon who RECOMMENDED this delivery person

Worst customer service
Got 3000$ sofa but the seats were not alligned.has to call so many times to exchange.after nearly 3 months my matter was solved and top of customer service agent were so rude and respectful.now we have been charged for the item which we never bought.they put on the plan.try to call but no one answered.so frustrating

The Scarborough location did a half decent job taking care of a mattress issue we had. However a salesperson named Shabbir went above and beyond to help us out. A truly sincere person and I hope Leon’s recognizes he is a great asset to their company. 5 stars for Shabbir!
