I would highly recommend Shivani at Leon’s Burlington location! She was very helpful when we purchased a table and chairs for our daughter’s new house. She is very patient and we definitely will come back and ask for her in the future!

This was a great service from purchasing to delivery, sales lady was great and accomodating, delivery guys were great to.
Unfortunately three seeter unit was defective so they took it back for replacement. Not their fault.

Compared to so many other appliance stores, Leon’s actually has inventory of most items. Their delivery system is perfect. You can track the shipment accurately right to your door. The delivery people are professional in their work. We’ve bought several appliances over a few months recently and they have been 100% dependable.

Not surprised about lots of bad reviews, this company is completely joke, was dealing with them in 2 different locations and all the same problem- they got the money but the item that was purchased they just think they can drive people nerves using different reasons about why it's not delivered. Also to the people posting rewievs about how awesome their experience was - are you friends of friends of people who work there, do you guys go to the different Leons somewhere, or maybe you use some specific skills that we average people dont have? So many questions and no answers. Well, I decided to stop going to this company's stores and advised to my friends the same for the sake of their mental health.and to someone who wants to try spend the money and if you guys have lots of time and patience - good luck

Worst experience ever.
Purchased a $1,200 coffee table from Brantford after telling me they had it in stock. After purchase went through they told me they did not have it. They sent me to Burlington and told me I could pick it up there. 1 hr drive.
They asked for my ID which I gave them driver's license. They told me they could not release it because it did not match my new address which I just signed the lease four days previous. 3 days previous I changed my address with motor vehicle for driver's license. After showing them my rental contract with new address and different ID forms and even my Facebook they still refused to release my paid for table because my driver's license did not match the invoice which was my new address which I have yet to move into for another 2 weeks.
They cannot release my $1,200 paid for table until my new ID driver's license comes in, in about 4 to 6 weeks.
I'll get my money back and I'll never shop there again.
They did not care to listen and they were not concerned about my not having furniture but could only care about their store policy which was ridiculous.
Imagine having a summer cabin and spending $40,000 equipping a new summer cabin and not being able to pick up your furniture

Love this location. They have a large showroom. Great selection and they had just what we were looking for. Sales associate was helpful but not pushy.
Delivery was within a week and delivery drives were courteous.
Price went down on the couch we bought a week later and they price matched it as promised.

The sales part was pretty okay however pickup from Burlington was absolutely horrendous.

We had the receipt, and it had our old address listed as this couch was for our new house which we were picking up the same day of our move. We had to physically show them the proof of sale in order to be allowed to have OUR 2,000$ couch paid for. Because apparently the physical receipt, and ID matching name with purchaser wasn’t enough. How pathetic when I had stressed from the beginning, I had so much trouble with the brick and hoped to find a new retailer to suit our furniture needs.

So heads up, make sure you bring your deed to the house, and probably car ownership too, plus a blood sample to be allowed to take your purchased products home

I ordered a dining set in April. The wrong order was delivered in June. When I mentioned it to the person that was assembling it they suggested I call the store and speak to them. When I called them, they asked me if I’m sure as if I am blind. Quite rude and disrespectful. So at this point, they ordered the set I had ordered the first time with delivery date of of “maybe” in August or September. I called for an update in mid- July and received a horrible service. I asked if the order will be delivered in August/September and if I could get a date since we have now been without a dinning sent for couple of months and my back is hurting and can’t sit on the floor or on the couch to eat. She was extremely rude and not understanding at all. I have received horrible service and it was a terrible experience trying to purchase from this place. I decided to cancel my order and purchased a set from another place. I would not recommend this place! They make you feel like they are doing you a favour by selling something to you and dealing with you while you spend your money.

Frustrating! Ordered Jupiter Sectional in Nov 2021. Received on June 30th and after putting together, there were 3 legs missing. Called customer service right away, and while he was friendly, he said he would call back and never did. Its Tuesday and havent heard from anyone. Couch is sitting on the floor. After waiting 8 months, this is unbelievable.

The sales associate who helped me in store was great! However, I later ordered another piece of furniture online and selected delivery for the same date that the piece I bought in store was scheduled for. Someone at the head office cancelled by delivery appointment for the online order and never told me. So on the delivery day, only 1 piece of furniture came. I had to go through 3 or 4 different people on the phone before I could get any kind of an answer as to what happened. So I would advise against ordering online. Again though, the sales rep in the store was great.

I have purchased very modern grey sectional at Burlington Leon's last year, and we were happy, we liked design, and color. But after 5 months sectional was in a bad shape, 1 recliner broke, middle piece was also in bad shape, and furniture fabric was worn out on few spots.
I was talking to Marissa, a store assistant customer care manager, she helped us right away, tried to order replacements, after Leon's technician came to check on damage. But after 2 months, only one piece of sectional came to store. We had to wait for recliner. In the meantime, second recliner wasn't doing well, Marisa told us, after technician came second time to check new damage, that we can replace our sectional with any other furniture we like.
During all process, I would like to say, Marissa was very professional, patient, and answering all my questions. We decided to take some other furniture and Marissa was there to help us with that task. Also, our sales person Jessi was there, and she helped, very professional, for us to be satisfied. I really liked how Marissa and Jessi handled this sale, it was very good experience for us, and we are happy with Leon's. We will continue to buy furniture from this exceptional Leon's store in Burlington, Ontario.

We bought a sectional couch 6 months agonit was delivered. We purchased extra insurance coverage and thankfully it has worked in our favor. We are extremely happy with our couxh. However we noticed the one end or armrest was broken or smashed but was concealed until we discovered it. We went to Leons and they are sending a tech to determin if it can be repaired.if not Leons will replace it or if we want we can upgrade. I thought they would tell me to kick rocks.but seems extra coverage ihas got its benefits. Thanks Kaval for all your help

Bro's 75" TV
My brother purchased/financed a 75" LG TV from Leon's Burlington store, they sold the unit at FULL retail, financed at ridiculous interest rate, and got him for a costly EXTENDED 4yr warranty! He has a learning disability & resides at a local group home, truthfully I was surprised he was credit approved, since he has a disability.

Now less than halfway into his warranty, the TV suddenly went blue screen only.no picture functionality. I called the warranty company on his behalf, which is a task in itself.no answers and severe lengthily waits/queue.finally I logged the claim and suggested we'd hear from a repair service. Several days later they called to schedule a service call a few days after that. Within minutes of arrival the repair person diagnosed the issue as a cracked screen, when pressed about this so called crack/non-visible crack, he suggested it was an "internal crack" on the screen, not visible on the outside of the TV but actually INSIDE the unit. His immediate response was that WON'T be covered by the warranty!

Unbelievable, however NOT overly surprising!

What I've discovered is that LEON's actually owns the so called 3rd party warranty company & they contract independent repair people to access warranties/claims on Leon's behalf.seems like a slight conflict of interest when the very people they pay have responsibility to have their meal ticket on the hook for the expense of repairing/replacing any item, in this case the 75" TV!

So of course NO repair & NO replacement of his TV. He's a die-hard sports fanatic & ALL he watches are sports especially hockey, and football, especially the upcoming Super Bowl! Poor guy now without a TV monitor.

I'm disgusted with Leon's, their predatory sales tactics, & lack of any customer service including extended warranty rip-off's!

Terrible service! Dishwasher broke after 1.5 years, purchased extended warranty. It's been over a month no eta on part needed. Leons puts me over to repair company State and Main they just say part is ordered no eta. Ridiculous service! I'd be very hard pressed to ever deal with leons again. Can't tell you how disappointed I am.

I went there January 7th and I bought sofa and Love seat, sales rep told me your orde will be ready up to 6 weeks. After 6 weeks I went to the store and I asked them about my order! Sales rep, “ Lina “ told me next date is March 10th but it’s not confirm yet! I told her you told me maximum 6 weeks! After that, General manager came and told me you just have 2 options, cancel your order or choose other things! I complained about that because I bought my order in Boxing deal! And now I have to pay regular price!
He was so rude! So rude! He Threatened me! If you don’t leave my store I’ll call 911! He told me come here tomorrow and we can talk about your problem. I went there and he didn’t say Hi even! He said why you are here? I canceled your order! Leave my store otherwise I’ll cal the cops! He called! And he gave me racist comment! He mentioned my race ….

Very disappointed with my leon’s experience. I purchased a mattress less than 2 years ago and it is already sagging in the middle, resulting in poor quality of sleep/tossing and turning, and stiffness when waking up.leon’s mattresses come with a 10 year warranty IF you purchase the mattress at full price. I bought mine on clearance which meant that someone used it for less than 3 weeks and then returned it.this time frame is still way under the 10 years that this mattress was supposed to last.when i called customer service they said there may have been an issue with the materials used to make the mattress but their hands are tied and they will not do anything to help me. Disappointed to have purchased a defective product and leon’s will not stand by the quality of what they sell or be willing to try and find a solution. Now we need to buy a new mattress but I will not be buying from here again. I would not recommend buying a mattress here.

Had to pick up an item from the Burlington store that was originally bought at the St Catharines store, both stores were very helpful in working together so I could buy the item l needed. If you are interested in buying something a little cheaper look in the mark downs I call it the Scotmans corner, never know what you might find.

Everyone before buying beware - They use third party delivery company- they first left the couch at the door and then when we asked them to bring it inside and then they damaged our kitchen wall in our new house.
They didn't even install or setup the couch, just left upside down.
We had the delievry same day from Teppermans for Dinning table, they installed the table, carefully brought it inside, analyzed everything.

Worst customer service experience ever. I had a scheduled delivery and had taken the day off work to make it possible and they did not even call to confirm when they will come and just called me the day of when they had already reached my location. Not knowing when to expect it during that day, the driver called once & didnt leave any voicemails and just left.

Called the burlington location and spoke to the shipping department whom, told me to call me back after 30mins with an answer and never did. Called back after 45 mins to inquire, no responce. Had to call 12 times all of which I spoke with the customer service and they knew nothing finally got hold of the shipping department whom told me, either pick it up myself or wait another month.

They are really unproffessional and rude. This is my first and last time making any purchase from them. Even when the order was ready, they did not call (nor email) and I had to be the one to inquire to get and answer and schedule my delivery which did not happen.

Stay away from this location, they have a really bad reputation for delivery & customer service.

Also, do not tell me that they called because I confirmed with the person who was supposed to call and they were on vacation and already told me no-one else did.

Manager would not honor price displayed due to a sudden small increase internally on computer that occurred while we shopped and were in process of locking in prices for continued shopping next few days. The price is not the price until fully paid for. Leons no interest in customer.at all. No idea what Customer First means or Customer for Life. But I think they understood NO DEAL! HASTA LA VISTA!

Very nice showroom, it is really big, plenty of choices to look at, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, they are really helpful.
The not so good: some furniture is not ready to deliver, one of our choices would only be delivered in January! (it's September 4). We were stunned that in 2021 things can still take 5 months to deliver, that doesn't make any sense, it would be better if they take those pieces out of the showroom.
We also got a tv, great deal, it was on sale.but found it odd that the tv is a "different department" within the same store? Not a big deal or a deal breaker by any means, but we did have to talk to a different sales person and do a different bill in a different workstation, etc. ; again: why?
Anyways.at the end of the day, it was a good overall experience and we were satisfied with our purchases, it's just that Leon's should take a hard look at their internal processes and bring the company into the 21st century, otherwise sooner or later we will see them disappear.

Keval provided such great customer service! We bought so many items from him. 2 loveseats and new mattress and box spring! A great day! So glad we stopped! Worth the trip so much selection at this location! I'm very pleased with the guarantee/warranty on new products which came recommended to me from others who have had great experiences with Leon's! I love Canadian made products sold by Canadian vendors like Leon's! Yay Leon's! I cant wait until my furniture is delivered it will be so wonderful! I am so excited!

I was lied to about my warranty. I was told if anything went wrong with my mattress I would be taken care of. My mattress has become lumpy and uncomfortable. They came by and did only a visual inspection and said there's nothing wrong with it and will not replace it. DO NOT BE CONNED BY THESE PEOPLE. They made me feel like I was buying from good people and that I was in good hands. It's too bad that I feel like instead I've been lied to for profit.

Great prices for decent products, attentive sales person, mediocre delivery scheduling experience, but beware of legal BS! Result was a disgusting overall experience with a company that clearly lacks business values when a difficult situation arises.

We bought a Samsung TV from Brampton store as part of a $6,000 order, delivered by Leons into the room where TV was to be used, unpacked carefully and place on TV stand by us, but we did NOT power it up because utilities had not been connected. When we eventually powered it up we found out the TV had internal physical damage. Start of legal spin-cycle and scramble to avoid responsibility by Samsung and Leons.

Samsung advised not covered by warranty because damage caused by impact and confirmed by Leons. We know it was not us, but Leons denied responsibility. Stated we needed to return TV in manufacture's box. We did buy an exact same replacement TV, but Leons refused to accept original TV in box of replacement TV. Leons personnel did not dispute that damage may have been caused by them, but said it was our problem. Leons pointed to (a) requirement of return in original box (Samsung confirmed under no circumstances was this covered by their warranty), and (b) Leons appliance legal documentation (BTW - TV is not an appliance) regarding requirement to start up within 72 hours of delivery - no such requirement provided for electronics (TV category).

You only see the character of a company when a problem arises - Leons failed!

Calvin - Thanks for your response. TV Purchased through Leons Brampton; inventory and shipping from Leons Burlington. Decision to source inventory and ship from Burlington was internal Leons decision. Both stores gave me the same legal run around - consistent, but negative.

Our family bought a beautiful couch from this location. We had it custom ordered. We also purchased their BEST 5 year warranty package after the sales rep assured us that it would be fixed if there were any damages. After about a year the leather started to degrade on one side making a small hole. Also the reclineable chair was tilted to one side (proof in the scratches on our flooring when the recliner goes in and out).

Someone came to look at it, told us there was no damage. He even sat on it, fully being able to feel that it was leaning to one side and told us to "just sit on the other side". We felt hugely disrespected as customers after this experience. He also said that the damage of the leather was not covered under the warranty. We followed up with Leon's about this and spoke to several people. Still nothing was done about it. We will never buy something from here again, nor do we ever recommend the warranty. It seems that if we took a scissor and cut the couch open, the warranty would cover it, but "wear and tear" that should not have occurred after only one year based on the assured quality of this couch, isn't covered. Also, no one came back to inspect the tilt in the chair again which should be covered under warranty. It was a very unprofessional employee who came to our house to tell us to "just sit on the other side" and not an honest company for not honouring their packages.

Terrible service. I ordered a 4-pieces sofa (made in Canada) 3 months ago. I have called the shop many times after 10 weeks and I was told that I could get 2 pieces. I cannot believe that I got 2 pieces- half unit of the sofa after almost 12 weeks. I called them today to see when I may get another 2 pieces. They said they dont know. I called Leons Burlington to check when I could get another 2 pieces sofa this morning. MS Sherion answered my call and she said she didnt know when they could get the sofa as the sofa comes from other country (oversea). I was shocked. The sofa on their website shows it made in Canada. The sofa ALTHEA 4- P SECTIONAL. SKU: 2307W809 was ordered on OCT 18,2020 and Im still waiting for another 2 pieces.

Decent sale. Delivery is terrible though. I ordered a couch+chair and upon arrival the chair was damaged. I had to wait about a month and a half for my chair because "there wasn't one in Canada. " on Delivery day, finally, the drivers apparently called me (no missed call notification on my phone, no message left on my, nor my fiancés phone) and skipped our Delivery spot (no follow up call, nothing). Every other company has done a follow up call and/or made the delivery at the end of day. Unless Leons has whatever you want in stock the day you buy it, I would go somewhere else just to save yourself the hassle of below standard Delivery

The bed frame I purchased from Leon’s was defective - the wood split three times in the same location. They are NOT taking Corona Virus seriously. They shunned me for taking apart the bed and putting it on my outside deck for the service technician, as I didn’t want him coming in my home! I spoke to Brenda who was very rude, she interrupted me constantly through out our conversation and spoke over me. They offered me no solution, I will be spending my hard earned money elsewhere! Cheaply made furniture that won’t last a year.

Do not buy any electronics from this store or Leon's for that matter. I bought a 65" TV and for some reason I started having vision issues followed by dizziness. The screen is too big for the room. I asked to exchange the TV within 24hrs of my purchase and I was told that all sales are final and a 25% restock fee was mandatory for the exchange. This is definitely my fault but other stores offer exchanges without such a high restock fee. Their customer service model is atrocious; they have no sympathy or care about their customers. You're better off buying a TV from Best Buy, Costco, Amazon. They have fair exchange policies if something like this happens to you.
