Great room very clean. Across from the Ottawa mission, tho. A man from there came over threatened my children, be sure to get there early tho parking is limited while they r renovating the garage.
We were able to a fold away bed for my youngest. Our one bedroom suite had a queen bed in the separate room for my husband and I and pull out in the sofa for my two older boys. Then a cott beside them for my 6 year old
Had dishwasher and washer and dryer in the sweet! Just be sure to bring laundry soap.

Perfect location! Parliament hill and byward Market are short strolls. Staff members are very polite and eager to asisst. Suites are a dream. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a great city view. Thank you.

I have stayed here twice now and will definitely continue to come back, I have no complaints. Located downtown and the rooms are affordable, clean and staff is very kind. 10/10

Didn't honor check in times, room wasn't available on time and their answer was "this happens, come back in an hour" and then say you're still getting charged full price

I love the fact that the suites are spacious and i have the freedom to cook quick food with a very nice kitchenette with complete kitchen utensils. There is also a washing machine and dryer in our suite which is very convenient when travelling with kids. It is close to the parliament and shopping centre. The only issue we had was, i could see the floor was dirty, hair and dirts from previous guest were still there, they only cleaned the counter tops, i could tell the floor was untouched, no one swept the dirt before we checked in and it's a hassle to call for housekeeping service when you just want to crash in bed once you arrive at the hotel suite. Also, there was a staff, a woman wearing hijab and i greeted her good morning with a smile when i encountered her at the elevator, she never responded nor smiled back, i know she didn't have to but that was not a very welcoming experience.

Stupid hotel! The staff will get their comeuppance. God will punish you! My car broke down on the way to the hotel and I have a baby with me. I called the hotel to see if I could cancel. The hotel said I had to contact a third party because it was a third party that made the decision. We call the third party. The third party said that they were very sympathetic to my experience and that they would check with the hotel to see if cancellation was possible. 10 minutes later the third party told me they couldn't cancel because the hotel disagreed. I called the hotel again to confirm, but the hotel said that the third party disagreed…I told the hotel worker named Mary that third party ask the hotel could call or send an email, and the third party could cancel my order at any time. Then I called the third party again. The third party communicated again with the same result, and the hotel did not agree to cancel. The last time I called the hotel I asked them why they lied? I was stand on the side of the road with my luggage and a baby and talk on the phone for 2 hours! I would understand if I was told on the first call that I couldn't cancel. But why did they lie repeatedly at the beginning and finally said that they did not agree to cancel? You will get your comeuppance! ! !

A decent hotel. Descent price. Descent room. Good kitchen. Good bed (ie mattress). Nice layout of a two bedroom apt. However was told it would be 212.00$ a night but was charged $235.00 a night. This doesn’t cover parking so one has to pay another 28$ a day for parking. Of corse travelling during COVID is hard enough so when we went to us the pool u have to show your QR code & identification which was no problem but our printed QR code from Quebec the girl at the pool kept telling us that it wasn’t right. She kept saying hers didn’t look like ours. We even offered to show our download version of the Federal government travel document but she just kept arguing with us. She finally let us in but only after arguing. So I would have given a 4 star review but this was upsetting as to be accused this way wasn’t very nice. I think the problem was that we don’t have the COVID app just the printed off paper. So it left a very soar taste in our mouth.

Chambre qui a besoin d'un rafraichissement: il manque d'amour! Fenêtres embuées. Cela dit, au 10ème étage, quand même assez calme. Situé au centre-ville, tout est à proximité à pied. Près d'un centre d'achat, le Rideau Center. Évidemment, comme dans 90% des hôtels, le divan-lit est extrêmement inconfortable. Par contre, le lit est bien. Chambre équipée d'une cuisinette avec lave-vaisselle, laveuse et sécheuse. L'air froid entrait par la prise de courant qui donnait sur le mur de l'extérieur. 3 ascenseurs pour nous servir.
Personnels très gentils. Stationnement 5 étages accessible avec carte. Lecteur de carte capricieux: toujours difficile à détecter la carte.
Accès à l'ascenseur à partir du stationnement. Stationnement pas idéal pour de gros camions: le stationnement est étroit et le plafond est bas. Très difficile de trouver une place de stationnement si vous sortez et arrivez à minuit! Si vous stationnez à l'extérieur, dans le stationnement de l'hôtel, , attention aux contraventions. Petit resto au lobby, le Presse-café.

Visiting Ottawa. Les Suites is downtown.personable staff.great value for exquisite Suites. Only place to spend your accommodation dollars wisely.

Clean and well laid out rooms. With a kitchenette, large bathroom, separate living room area with pull out bed, and balcony, Les Suites is more than accommodating.

Easy to access wifi with reasonable speeds.

Indoor pool with hot tub.

Simple parking.

3 elevators to handle high traffic.

Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a luxurious stay and don't want to break the bank.

Appreciate the location.park the car and walk to Market, Museums and all our favorites. We take food with us and use the kitchen in room for majority of our meals.

Only visited a friend there but the hotel seems nice, the room was big with a kitchenette. Staff were very nice and professional.

Room size is excellent. Good space for a family, and great that it includes washing machine and dryer. Especially because we stayed here for a month and had to wash and dry our own towels and sheets. We had to call down for laundry powder, dishwashing liquid and toilet paper all the time. No initiative from the staff to top up our supplies for our stay. We had to vacuum our own room. The dishwasher leaked and the tap in the kitchen broke. They fixed these issues quickly when alerted which is why I’ve given them 2 stars. Very $$$ for this kind of service and wouldn’t recommend.

Les Suites has very nice size rooms. Reasonable prices. Rooms are clean. Right in the downtown area. Minutes away from transportation. Minutes away from shopping mall (Rideau Center). You can do bus tours, Lady Dive boat tours, and boat rides. Take a beautiful walk to The Byward Market where you can find shops, and restaurants. Lots to do day or night. God Bless You. Cheers

Les Suites is the best place to stay in Ottawa. Very spacious rooms, great location, friendly staff. Very clean. Was perfect for our large group. Enjoyed our stay very much.

We stayed for the night. They upgraded us to a suite. It was the nices room I've ever been in. It can complete with washer dryer dishwasher full kitchen TV room. And a beautiful view of the city. They have a nice office for personal use and the staff went beyond the call of duty. I would recommend this place as a mim vacation. So much to do and see. They have a board in the loby that lights up with suggestions on what to do in Ottawa. They give you a detailed map of the city. A restaurant on site. Very clean.

After looking at multiple reviews, I'm assuming it's a common practise to not issues refunds to customers who are refused entry to a room they paid for. How are they awarded "Ottawa Tourism's Star Team of the Year" if this hotel doesn't know a single thing about customer service? Abdul and Chris, after a week of back and forth exchanging phone calls and hanging up, refused to issue myself a refund when they refused us entry at 3: 30am after a night out but yet they claim it's because we were a group of 9. I thought maybe they would make it an easy process and issue a refund seeing they are "Ottawa Tourism's Star Team of the Year" award recipients.that's an absolute joke. Instead I went through my credit card company and had the charge reversed and the case won in my favour. Another thing the room is absolutely filthy and the carpets need a deep wash and scrub ten times over, and the kitchen had seen better days. With the prices they charge, I think its time this hotel gets a facelift and remodel.

Anyways thanks Abdul and Chris for wasting my time for a week straight when I should have gone to my credit card company for a refund from the start. ;).

Don’t book if you want to use amenities, you need a reservation to use them and hot tub apparently had been broken for a year and thay was the only reason we booked with this one was to use the hot tub! Hotel parking for oversized vehicles is up the street, beside the shelter so lots of people hanging around vehicles all night. Room was big but loud, carpets were filthy microwave was never cleaned! Other wise bed was comfy and clean!

Hard to get in the building. Upon check in I learned I needed to pay an extra $28 to park over night at the hotel. Rooms are very outdated and not a cozy feel. Both alarm clocks in each room were set to 6am and woke us all up. Hair dryer was dirty with greasy hand print on them.

There was no caffeinated coffee in our suite, only decaffeinated. You could hear thudding music from downtown Ottawa on a Saturday night u til 11pm, but I guess that’s what you get anywhere downtown at a hotel. Was hard to fall asleep.

Was disappointed there was no free coffee or even a muffin for the morning, you had to pay extra upon booking your hotel for free breakfast.

Was conveniently located however I would not stay at Les Suites again.

I did not stay at the hotel. I had a problem getting in the horrible and expensive parking lot below the hotel. The front asked me on the street intercom " last name and room number". Since I was not a customer told me she could not help me. Pretty cold.

This is not the first time we stayed at the hotel. Staff is amazing. Great location. However, this time we were very disappointed. The children were looking forward to using the pool but were unable to do so as a spot had to be booked before hand. We were only staying one night and there were no slots available. Pool only opens at 3PM on weekdays and there is no option to use the pool after checkout. Covid means new rules. However, there is no mention on the hotel website of the new rules regarding the use of the pool. The hotel shares the pool with the Novotel Hotel therefore spots are very limited. Had we known the kids would not have been able to use the pool we would not have booked at this hotel. Although we are cognizant that Covid means changes the hotel should make these rules clear on their website so that guests know what to expect when booking. We have some very disappointed children to deal with.

Good sized rooms, amazing location and as a family of 6, I was excited to see a washer dryer in our premium 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen.

Excellent service à la clientèle bilingue. L'Hôtel a accepté de m'offrir le même lrix que sur Hôtels.com. La suite est immense et confortable. La déco n'est pas au goût du jour, mais le rapport qualité prix est vraiment excellent. J'y retournerai.

If you like a big hotel room this place might be for you! The check in was kinda unfriendly and a littl too secure with the buzzing in an all. Past that the room was good cool view quite large. Comfortable beds as well located. I could have done without the 7am construction banging but that’s not the hotel fault!

Absolutely a five star stay! Perfect suite with fill kitchen, laundry and massage shower head. Gorgeous balcony for a fantastic glimpse of the downtown Ottawa glow. 5 minute walk to museums, pubs, breakfast and shopping. Will definitely stay at the Les Suites again?

To everyone who wants to book this Hotel, I suggest you book Sheraton or another Hotel. This Hotel is trash with very bad customer service, they are not friendly, Checking to check out isn't 24hrs, parking is an additional $30.if you need help, they don't help you, it's all on your own. The inside is dirty, like an old appt. With that high price that you can have 5-star service such as Sheraton. This is the worst hotel I have ever seen, be aware of this.

Hôtel vraiment génial! L'accueil, l'équipe, les chambres (de vrais petits appartements tout équipé) sont au top et les règles de sécurité face au covid totalement respectées, ce qui rend le voyage extrêmement agréable.
Le rapport qualité prix est vraiment excellent!
De plus, je tiens à remercier une nouvelle fois l'équipe, qui a été très à l'écoute et qui a fait son maximum pour me renvoyer un item oublié lors de mon séjour à mon domicile.
Je recommande cet hôtel à 100% et j'y reviendrai sans hésiter!

I really enjoyed my stay at Les Suites Ottawa. We booked a 1 bedroom suite and it had all we needed like a living room with sofa and dining table, kitchen with basic pots and pans, toaster, microwave, full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, cooktop with oven and more. The suite comes with it's own laundry. The suite was very good sized and bright. Hotel is very conveniently located steps away from Byward Market and is in Rideau downtown. The service is great as well and everything was sanitized for us before we checked into the suite as Covid precaution. We definitely loved it here and given a chance I'd love to stay here again!

Very nice hotel staff is friendly and good service and nice place to do quarantine because of location and view and very accessible to all food outlets and very easily for delivery

Poor management I seen ever, no safety measures even though they are letting delivery guys in and even they can go to any floor when alot of people are in Quarantine.
Stop spreading Covid 19 Sir, do not cause the spread. Shame

When every other hotel would not take my roommate, Les Suites saved her and let her stay there.

Great experience! Very reasonably priced rooms and the room was very clean.nice view of downtown in the room I was in.

Had the worst possible experience there. I will not be returning due to two staff members who were unreasonably rude and unprofessional towards my guests and I. I spoke with the RM and he is yet to respond to my second email in regards to my complaints.its been over 5 months. Highly do not recommend, you are better off going somewhere else.

Stayed here during covid for a period of 7 nights.
I was assured that all rooms were sanitized prior to my team's arrival. This includes a three day period after a guest checks out where no one enters the room. After the three days, I was told that the cleaning team does an extensive sanitization of the room.

One of my co workers found a half eaten burger in his room upon check in.
I personally found a large mass of someone else's hair on my shower curtain.

My other co worker took pictures of thick, in cleaned dust all over his bedside table and television stand.

Cleaning is not being done up to covid or health Canada's standards.

If you value your health steer clear.

Also found a package of condoms in my bedside table.

The hotel staff is highly treated and respectful, but the internet is very bad for someone who wants to retire for 14 days

Ce fut un court séjour, nous devions y demeurer une semaine mais nous y sommes restés une nuit. Quelle déception! Appartement salle, poussiéreux pas de service à la chambre frigidaire pas nettoyé table de salon salle vitres trop salles pour voir au travers rideaux poussiéreux balcon très salles aussi. Coût exhorbitant 300.00 +28.00 pour le stationnement. Corridor et appartement odeur de renfermé. A éviter

Very nice hotel for people who are travelling in groups. I visited for three days with my family and booked two suites. The suites are like apartments and fully equiped. The place is huge. Has a computer table, fridge, and 2 TVs.
2 Bathroom: one in hallway and other in main master bedroom. Has a walk in closet. Comes with all comodities such as utensils, crockery, coffeemaker, dishwasher, laundry and toaster.
The only turn off was the carpet and the couches as they were not very clean.
Bathrooms are nice and big.
Everything (main attractions and food places) is in a walking distance from this location which is great!
I visited during COVID times so the pool was closed.
We also didnt get rooms made up despite of the sign we put up for the hotel cleaners which was due to Covid situation. They did however say we can get our towels changed anytime if we needed.

Would definitely stay again if I were to visit again.

We often use this hotel for our business trips to Ottawa. The service is excellent, and the rooms are fantastic for long or short term stays. It really feels like a home away from home. Being located right next to the Rideau Centre and the ByWard Market ensures you always have something to do, eat, and/or see.

Not as great as it is claimed. Rooms are big but decor is very simple.

Paying over 30% of room rent as parking is smart way of charging more for room and getting ranked as affordable hotel.

Had an amazing stay here. The booking was simple and check in was fast and easy. The parking was handy and secure witch was a concern with downtown parking being really tough sometimes. We stayed while attending our work Christmas party and had a few very last minute, extra people that needed a place to stay and the hotel staff were more than accommodating and moved us to a more appropriate suite though they didn't need to at all. I truly could not have asked for better. Both suites were beautiful, clean and stocked with everything we could have needed. I really enjoyed the showers with super hot water and really strong water pressure, a treat from ours out in the country. Definitely recommend for any kind of stay in the city and the downtown location cant be beat. Cant wait to come back another time when my husband and I can just stay In to enjoy the room and hopefully get a chance to swim in the lovely pool and hot tub that we didn't have time to use this stay. A big thankyou to everyone that makes it a great experience.

We stayed in the Suites for two nights including new year Eve. Amazing location. The bedding is very comfortable. The TV's and channel selection are decent. The furniture is a little dated, but everything works fine (the laundry room is special treat for antique lovers). The personnel is friendly and professional. I didn't have a chance to check the pool, but I was told it's small but not crowded. The indoor parking priced normal (high- $28/day) for the area. But there are some reasonably priced outdoor parkings around. We would definitely stay again.

Les Suites is my favourite hotel in Ottawa. I stay here many times a year whenever visiting family. The suites are huge around 700 sq feet typically for a 1 bedroom. They offer a full kitchen, seperate bedroom, laundry facilities in the room and a balcony. This is very unusual for hotels in downtown Ottawa. There is also a handy café in the lobby. The location is perfect right next to the Byward Market, the Rideau Centre, Ottawa's transit hub and a short walk away from parliament and the Rideau canal. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. There is also a pool, hot tub and an exercise room. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Excellent spot to stay for a duration. Handy location to the Rideau Centre (mall) and convention centre. Byward market is just a few quick blocks away. My room however smelled musty upon entering each time.

Great hotel. The only thing is the carpets are so gross in the rooms. I don't even let my child play on the floor. They are just so disgusting and they feel so gross. Bring slippers.

Being at the core of the downtown, the hotel is close to quite a lot of places of interest, including Parliament Hill, shops, restaurants, and a handful of art galleries. The family suites (2 bedrooms, 3 beds) are roomy, clean, and have their own laundry room, wich helps a lot while camping, or traveling with toddlers in potty training (although the washer and dryer are dated, and smaller than what you may be used to if you live in a house. Would have been nice to know parking was extra daily fee before checking in, but the super friendly staff truly shines. Overall, a pleasant experience, but can be pricey, specially if traveling on a budget.

Rooms are very spacious (we had a 2 bedroom). The rooms look quite dated however. The beds/pillows were comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the Byward Market and Rideau Centre. Our room was an 03 and right by the garbage chute room (there was an odour outside our room)

We had three rooms at Les Suites this weekend. All rooms smelled of aerosol spray to mask smoke smell. One room had blood on the sheets in the bed and on the fitted sheet and flat sheet on the pull out bed. One room had a pair of socks from a previous guest. They were found just under the edge of the bed. Hair dryer worked inconsistently in one of the rooms. One room had their key stop working when they got back from the pool. Staff was difficult in trying to get a replacement key. Very disappointed experiences for all our families. Our request for rooms together didn't happen. They said the best they could do would be to put us on the same floor. They were fully booked. Yet when the smell of the rooms were notified they did offer to move us. We declined as we wanted to be at least on the same floor. The minimum compensation requested was offered. They refunded two nights of parking for the room that paid for parking.
Location and wifi is good.

Bel endroit, bien situé mais service à la clientèle catastrophique Je ne suis pas du genre à me servir d'internet pour me plaindre mais comme ils m'ont chargé 500$ pour leur erreur et qu'ils ont le culot de dire que c'est impossible, que le personnel ne commet pas d'erreur soyez avisés. J'ai fait une modification de chambre, au lieu de modifier ils en ont fait une nouvelle. Pour cette raison ils me chargent en double en disant que je ne me suis pas présentée Ça fait deux mois qu'ils me niaisent en promettant de me rappeler et j'attends encore. Faite attention à leurs employés parfaits qui ne font pas d'erreur mais vous chargent en double!

One of the worst places I have stayed in. The rooms were smelly. The bedroom was extremely noisy because of heavy bus and trucks traffic, I had very poor sleep over the 7 nights I slept here and the staff did not allow me to check put and get a refund, despite very clearly and specifically asking for a quiet room when I booked. I was disappointed with my experience and will never stay here again.

Les Suites Hotel Ottawa is very conveniently located, and only a couple minutes away from some of the best food choices in Ottawa, as well as the bustling night life in the Byward Market.

A place to not go. We arrived at 8.00 from Spain and we discovered that the suite was a conference room with a small room inside. We also noted that there was no bed for the 3 years old child. We were very upset and we complained. They offered us a 20% discount and the breakfast (nothing special) as the hotel was fully booked. I would have canceled the room but so late, with the child and all tired, what could we do? So we accepted but we are still very upset and we don’t recommend this place for how they treated us. It was the most expensive in our trip and the worst one.

Malgré une réservation (très) tardive, j'ai été fort gracieusement accueillie, et même surclassée dans un superbe appartement du 17ème étage.
Espace (seule la salle de bain, bizarrement, est petite par rapport au reste), vue, confort, tout est parfait. J'ajouterais la présence de la piscine du 5eme étage, bien agréable pour se détente après une journée de visites diverses. Et surtout, surtout, l'emplacement proche de tout à pied, et le plus, plein de restaurants sympa dans le coin! Bref, un séjour parfait. Un seul petit reproche, le Presse Café en bas de l'hôtel mais indépendant de ce dernier, pour le petit déjeuner n'a vraiment pas beaucoup de tables, et on a pas trop envie de s'y attarder devant un 2eme café. Un service de petit déjeuner digne de ce nom serait bienvenu!
