Delicious food that just happens to cater to my medically required and ethically chosen dietary requirements. Wonderfully friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere seal the deal. Lettuce Love Cafe has quickly become my favourite place to eat.
Absolutely amazing food here. They have wonderful vegan options that are beyond flavourful. I drive an hour and a half to come here for food. Kelly was super sweet and had amazing customer service. Her smile is infectious! Will come here again for sure!
Excellent quality food with large portions! I love how their salads and bowls are full of all the ingredients and not just a sprinkle. They also mix a solid amount of dressing into salads and bowls. When you add on extras (e.g, portobello mushrooms) it is a legit sized portion add-on and totally worth it (this compared to other places where the extra portion is barely 2 tablespoons). Very quick and friendly service, and they also have alcohol. Definitely coming back!:)
I started coming to Lettuce love for their smoothies. I found other places added juice, or sweetened sorbet or yogurt. Lettuce love was healthy and delicious. Totally transparency and no junk. This is my second time coming in for a non smoothie. I tried the Power Bowl. Wow! Huge, healthy and delicious! I could eat 1/3 so plenty to bring home Absolutely recommend to all. Feel good food ️
Besides being a vegan gluten-free restaurant (which is a really important cause for me), the food is absolutely delicious, healthy and comes in a generous portion. A must try for the heart, the soul and the belly:).
The first time I visited, I liked this place. The service was excellent. Along with other meals I ordered a smoothie and it was so delicious, I ordered another one. The great thing about Lettuce love is that it is all things vegan/ Vegetarian. The smoothie was a guiltless sweet because of all the natural ingredients. If you ever find yourself in Burlington, Ontario, near to the waterfront, stop by there a try their wide variety of delectable treats. Stop by today.
We are regular customers and really enjoy the food. However today for some reason my Reuben sandwich was very oily. Usually it isn't. It still tasted good though.
My new favorite place. I am not a vegan or have gluten sensitivities I simply go to Lettuce Love for a healthy and feel-good-after meal. Their prices are in line with other healthy food restaurants but their portions are very very fair. Very good value for your money. Staff is absolutely wonderful too.
Tasty food but the overall experience was disappointing. The vegan classic brunch states that it comes with fresh fruit, but came with 1 single orange slice, so the menu description is quite misleading. This place is also far too dirty to be selling and serving food. We sat in the smoothie section of the café, at a table along the wall. The walls were so dirty and dusty, I was uncomfortable having my food so close to it. If the dining area isn't being cleaned, I would assume the kitchen surfaces are being neglected as well. 3 stars solely for the service, portion sizes and taste.
A cosy vegan spot in Burlington with outstanding food. Vegan food is generally spicy but Lettuce love Cafe have done a brilliant job in providing flavourful vegan food at reasonable prices.
4 of us ordered 4 mains and we were stuffed. All the mains we ordered were fantastic in flavour and quality of ingredients. I highly suggest all of them if you can try.
Definitely coming here again soon! Great Job Lettuce Love Cafe Team!
I was getting a pedicure in Village Square when this place was recommended to me for lunch. I wasn't super hungry so I just had a smoothie and potato wedges. They were yummy!
I have been to both the burlington and the Oakville locations. I tried the tempeh ruban and the falafel bowl. Both were delicious and filling. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. I love stopping here when I'm in town. Would recommend.
We go to the Oakville location because it's closer but were in Burlington today so we went to that location. Fortunate to have gotten the only lower table inside. Food is good and plentiful. I love that they bake food instead of deep frying!
The sweet potato burger is SO GOOD. The whole meal is surprisingly filling while not making you feel super heavy. I dined in, and the service was good too. I definitely will make this a regular stop whenever I come to Burlington!
I arrived in Toronto by train from Vancouver on Friday. Friday night I went to the bar with Kyle, Greg and Sean. Saturday I was delivered back to Burlington. After a night out, I decided to break my hangover by skateboarding to Lettuce Love. I arrived mid afternoon and immediately felt welcomed back to my hometown after one year of being away. After living in the vegan mecca of the West Coast it was refreshing to be brought back to Burlington, where Lettuce Love has been a plant-based staple for years. I remember dining here in my earlier years as a novice vegan. Returning for my meal, I reflected on my how much I have changed and grown. A reminder of how my departure impacted me and not greater community. In my absence not only had veganism in Burlington prevailed, but it has also expanded. If I wondered why veganism was becoming more widely accepted and practiced in the community, the answer was discovered during my third bite. No doubt anyone who is curious about plant-based food will be inspired once they eat at lettuce love. The food is exquisite, offering a wide range of dishes to satisfy the most punctilious of palates. Over the next 7 weeks I proceeded to eat here 6 times, often seeking refuge from my non-vegan surroundings. I had the fortune of having tried 6 different dishes. If that sample is indicative of the entire menu, I assure you that you cannot make a bad choice here. Every time I sat down, I felt replenished by the compassionate energy emanating from the cruelty free environment. Upon consuming my repast to its entirety, I would regain my strength to continue fighting for the animals and people of this planet. As the large sign engineer for Karina Gould’s victorious Liberal party, between canvassing 8 hours a day and expertly installing signs around the city, it was critical that I was properly fueled. Whether it was a nutrient dense veggie burger, a dense and delicious bowl or simply some flavour dense pancakes, I had the energy to peregrinate across the city, delivering democracy. As I am writing this review on the train heading toward Toronto, I already know that my first meal will once again be at Lettuce Love.
Very friendly, personable staff! Out of the things I've tried here they're all delicious and fair priced. So many kinds of smoothies! The fair trade coffee was really good, so is the soup, and buddha bowl
All vegan the staff are very nice and do a great job to make you feel valued as a customer. I have the rewards I enter my phone number on the tablet and they complimented me by saying smart move this was at the Oakville location. Keep up the great work.
We happened on this place during an ikea trip and we’re so pleasantly surprised! The staff were amazing and the food even more so. I had the Reuben sandwich and it was so delicious
For whatever reason, even though people are still eating or waiting to be served, they start rolling up the carpet and closing down the patio. Apparently they close at 8: 00 on Tuesdays but close the patio earlier, so the only option after 7: 30 is take out. After picking up our daughter at the airport we traveled specifically to eat here so we opted for take out. While we were standing outside waiting for our food (chairs were gone) other tables were still being served. That in itself was disappointing, but I have to tell you for $65 (no drinks) the food was about as lackluster as it can get. We've been here before, and it is one of our daughters favourite spots, but after this debacle I'm not sure we'll take the risk. If you want us to come back you owe us three meals.
Guys. I love this place dearly, been coming here for 7 years now. But the potato wedges have not been good for almost a half a year now, this is the 5th time I’ve gotten them over the last 6months and they are burnt to a crisp on the outside and cold to touch, just kinda a depressing potato wedge if you ask me. Anyways, this is not to be rude or upset, but just informative. I know your better than this. Please make them soft and fluffy with a slight crisp like you used too! And I’ll be happy to change my 2star to a 5star!
Extremely expensive and definitely not tasty. The avacado fries are the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. Their smoothies are the best thing on their menu. Save your money and try other places.
Lettuce Love is truly a gem in Burlington restaurant scene. Vegan, gluten free, healthy and really good food. Amazing patio lunch with family. Loved it.
If you are in the area, you need to check this place out. They have amazing food and customer service. I am a regular and would definitely recommend weekend brunch, wing Wednesdays, ceaser salad and the falafel bowl!
Spectacular! Well worth the drive from out of town. Many options from comfort vegan food to refreshing healthy vegan food. Definately a go to whenever in Burlington.
Excellent smoothies. 20 Oz for about 8 bucks plus tax. Highly recommend the blue goddesss. Check out the menu and prices in the photos I posted. Great location.waking distance to the lake.
They welcomed us, first time visitors, with open arms. It wasn’t busy at 1pm on a Wednesday. We sat on the patio once an outside table became available, about ten mins. We waited and waited. We tried to place an order, and were told we had to go back inside to order! This took half hour already! Back inside we went and prepaid.
I ordered the seven vegetable soup, which was a little salty and more of a thick stew, but yummy with the taters. My friend ordered the Buddha bowl and it was BIG! Neither of us could finish our meals, it was soooo filling! I prob would go again but will try their coffee or smoothies next time.
Finally decided to try this place because of the reviews and not worth the money. I got a bowl and my sweet potato was not cooked all the way, mushrooms were drenched in vinegar and the kale was not even cut up and had a very bitter taste, not to mention some of the kale looked like it was going bad. For costing almost $20 I had higher expectations. Save your money and go to freshii or basil box, cheaper and so much better!
Our first time in Ontario we used Skip for delivery. Everything was amazing. I had the California burger and my wife had the Power Bowl. Excellent and delicious. Please open a location in Edmonton, AB.
Absolutely love this place. Love the bowls and smoothies. However, it is way too overpriced. Paid $35 for a smoothie and a bowl. Seems a tad bit ridiculous. But nonetheless, loved the friendly customer service and the food! I live in Brampton and my cousin and I went to Oakville twice specifically to eat from here and chill near the water! Their falafel bowl is amazing.
My family and I are on a raw only diet and we found things we can actually eat here on the menu at Lettuce Love. Got the energy smoothie and the Mega salad and they were unbelievably delicious, finally tasted like more than just berries and lettuce. Extremely impressed. 10/10 would recommend and go back every day
Our first time getting food there and I wonder why we didn’t go sooner! Delicious and perfect if you have allergies. The staff was so friendly and they have curb side delivery. We are definitely going back soon!
Awesome lunch. Good service, quality ingredients. Some items were a bit pricey, especially granola snacks and date bites, both those items came to $25. Most items were reasonably priced.
Amazing food and service! So nice to go to a restaurant and be able to choose anything on the menu that I am craving. All gluten free and vegan! Such nice staff!
Awesome food! Anytime you can get there on the weekend be sure to try the pancakes or the skillet during brunch hours, they are the best! So many delicious options, added bonus, its all vegan
