Our project finished on time and within 10% of the original estimate. We are very happy with the project.

Michael and Ashley listened to our ideas, shared their own ideas and experiences and helped us navigate the layout of the basement. Michael’s estimate included high quality products for flooring, tiles, vanities, pot lights and faucets. For instance we were able to pick any 12x24 tile for the bathroom or any 26” vanity. Wow! This meant we could focus on the options (and there were many!) instead of always trying to balance budget.

Before signing on with LevelUp, we visited their design center where we saw options that were included in our quote and Ashley spent nearly 2 hours with us to explain our package and clarify our questions. Of course there were many upgrade options too but we felt we didn’t have to. After our visit, we had a very good idea of how our basement can look and what our budget limits will be.

Once the project started, our main contacts were Avtar and Michael. Avtar visited our house twice a week to check on progress and checked on us. We had a direct line with Avtar and he’d answer our calls within a few rings. We felt he was always around and he would listen and action any of our asks.

We received our schedule with different tradesmen visiting us for various tasks. They all came on time, friendly, courteous and clean. Each team would clean up after their part is done and the trash would be removed from our house on a weekly basis to prevent trash build up in our garage. Our property, including the basement, the hallways and the garage was always kept tidy and clean. Everyone respected our privacy and took care to keep us in the loop.

Our project finished one day AHEAD of schedule!

Once floor covers were removed, we found a few defects on the floor and stairs from all the foot traffic. The tradesmen showed up as a team (4 people!) and fixed the issues within couple of hours. These damages are bound to happen so I was less concerned by them. However, I’m incredibly impressed how quickly it was fixed and the care they put to make it look perfect. Michael and his team worked hard to make our project exceptional with great customer service. This is one of those examples.

Overall, we are very happy and thankful that we chose LevelUp for our project. We are looking forward to using our basement for years to come.

From the moment Michael walked in and gave us a complete and professional quote for our basement renovation we knew he was our guy. He created a schedule that we thought was ambitious but he kept us to it. His team from designers, framers, plumbers, drywallers…. Exceptional. He saw things that didn’t meet his standards and fixed them before we noticed. Naturally there were bumps along the way and lots of questions, he was ALWAYS accessible and responsive. Sometimes $&! @ happens, it was remedied immediately. (And even when I changed my mind on something, he thoroughly explained the impact on cost and timing). We are absolutely thrilled with our basement. We highly recommend Michael and his highly competent and professional crew!

Just writing a review on this company after servicing one of their renovation homes.

I am a Duct Cleaner, War Veteran and proud father. After arriving to one of Level Ups post renovation homes to clean the system for them. I informed them that when contractors were doing the renovations they forgot to turn the system off during sanding thus causing high amounts of construction micro dust to be absorbed by the system.

Usually not an issue and can be resolved by an additional $60 to the service to remedy the mistake. Viktoria one of the owners / worker was not even willing to pay $60 to fix the mistake the company itself created.

Finally I told Viktoria and the owner of the company I would not perform a clean that leaves dust behind. This unfair to your customer you promised a FREE Duct Cleaning too.

In spite they smeared our company because they had to pay an additional $60 to have cleaned to avoid us cancelling.

JUST THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW THE MENTALITY OF THIS COMPANY AND HOW IT INTERACTS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY IT SERVICES.

We cannot say enough positive things about Level Up Renovations! We have undergone several renovations in the past (with different companies/contractors) and have never had such a seamless, pleasant and stress-free experience from start to finish!

From our first consultation meeting with Michael (the owner), we felt we could trust him. He was knowledgeable, friendly, professional and we could tell fairly quickly that doing this job was his passion. This all held true for the entire reno process! We needed to make our unfinished basement into a living space for my mom (one bedroom, a 4-piece bathroom, a kitchen and convert our crawl space into a finished storage area). Michael gave us tips, advice and suggestions that were clever and innovative. Cost wise, Level Up definitely wasn't the cheapest but also wasn't the most expensive. Everything was reasonably priced - by the end of the project, we felt that the price was justified based on the excellent quality of the work, the rare stress-free reno experience and the efficiency of the company in dealing with any small or large issues that inevitably always occur with any major reno such as this one. Michael always went out of his way to make us happy, no matter how strange our requests were or how it inconvenienced him.

Once we signed with Level Up, we met with their lovely designer, Ashley and picked out finishings in a showroom. It was a completely seamless process! She even sent us 3D renderings of what our space would look like with the finishes we selected. Very professional!

The project started the first week of January 2023. We were always given the schedule a week or so in advance so we could keep track of what work was to be completed that week; they were quite punctual too! And garbage was taken out regularly as needed. Avtar was assigned as our supervisor for the project (although Michael was still heavily involved throughout). Avtar was quick and efficient anytime we had questions or concerns. EVERY SINGLE tradesperson that worked on our project was extremely polite, friendly, knowledgeable, had incredible craftsmanship, and was beyond patient with us when we were being indescisive! I can't emphasize enough how important this was in making this reno as stress-free as possible! We also noticed how clean everyone was! Everything was covered at the start of the project (stairs, hallway, carpets, entryways, etc) and everything was tidied up at the end of each day. Our main floor powder room was used respectfully (we've had many tradespeople in the past who have used our bathrooms in our home as if they're public toilets). Additionally, everyone was very accommodating to us because we have a preschool aged daughter and were living at home throughout the renos (i.e. Loud equipment was not used after her bedtime, etc). We were very impressed with who Michael had selected to work at Level Up! Each employee truly reflects the values of Level Up.

The project wrapped up the last week of February 2023, being only 1 week delayed (also quite impressive!) from when Michael had originally given us a quote and estimated timeline. The delay was due to a kitchen cabinet installation error (we want to clarify that this was caused by some miscommunication in the location of the cabinets and NOT due to poor craftsmanship) for which Michael immediately took full responsibility and resolved the issue with lightening speed while simultaneously never compromising on the quality of workmanship!

Overall, although we had hiccups in this project as one would expect with any major reno, it was the professionalism and timeliness in which the issues were taken care of that really sets this company apart! This is hands-down the company you'll want to trust with your reno needs!

We recently bought a property that needed major updates on the main floor and complete renovation of the basement. We wanted to be compliant to the city’s building, renovation, and zoning requirements. As such, we were very particular that whoever we engaged for the contract has the capability and experience in delivering what is required while at the same time be able to ensure compliance.

After doing extensive research and receiving quotes from several contractors (some of whom we have already dealt with in the past), we decided to engage Level Up Consulting Group. From the very first meeting with Michael (owner), we felt comfortable even though we had no prior relationship. He was very transparent, giving us a detailed quote with several options, and guiding us through the pros and cons of each. This enabled us to decide on the best option that will meet our requirements and budget. He formalized the quote with a contract protecting our mutual interests, set reasonable timelines, and assured us of the quality delivery that his company is proud of.

Then came the exciting part, meeting and discussing with the Engineer (for the building plans/permits) and the Designer for the interior plans/design). Both were very professional and knowledgeable. They were instrumental in translating our vision into actual plans and design documents that passed the city’s
approval and paved the way for start of the work.

Michael’s construction crew worked efficiently and knew their craft. Each job process seamlessly transitioned to the next until the entire project was completed. As with any construction project, there were some minor hiccups along the way, but Michael managed our expectations well in the process and ensured issues were addressed to our satisfaction.

Our family was looking for some additional living space but wanted a consulting partner that would manage the entire job providing us peace of mind. Michael and Levelup were able to fill this role and allow our family to continue operating within our busy schedules. When we decided to do basement renovation one of the recommended contractors by our friends was Michael - owner of the Level Up group. Initially we wanted to do just a cosmetic repair, but Michael after observing of our basement persuaded us fortunately that we need to do complete demolition and remodeling of it: he showed us mold in several places and ensure that inside the walls there are much more. We hired Mike and the Level up team for a basement refinish after some water damage. He was very responsive and transparent with everything that was happening with the project. We're so glad we found Michael and his team to renovate our bathroom. It was a full gut job, including moving of plumbing and HVAC, and Level Up Group was the only contractor we met with that we felt confident would respect our needs for the space and make our vision come to life. From design to completion Michael was responsive and his team was thorough. Any time we had questions or concerns we knew they would be addressed promptly. We finished on time and on budget and could not be happier with the end result!

Excellent service with a keen attention to detail. During Covid, this team did their upmost to make us feel safe. The craftsmanship is fabulous. But most imporantly, this team is HONEST. I highly recommend Level Up Group!

Our master bathroom urgently needed renovation (previous owners had not maintained house well, and there was moldy smell we could not eliminate). We talked to several different contractors including Level Up Group Consulting. Level Up was a bit more expensive, but they had a two (!) year warranty and we were more impressed by the pictures of their previous work and discussions, so we went with them.

We were quite happy with the final result. Work was done on schedule (very minimal delays) and cost estimates were on track (ended up adding work beyond initial quote, but prices for these additions were reasonable). There was some very tricky work (e.g. Lots of plumbing had to move, like submerging pipe, moving toilet over, switching shower side) but this was all done very well. We're also very happy that the source of mold was found and eliminated. Other highlights are their tiling work (both shower and floor), tricky plumbing work (which enabled larger vanity, etc), glass shower door and wall, and electrical work. Some nice additions were included that I hadn't expected: cleaning service afterwards, thorough patching and painting of minor scrapes in hallway from moving in materials, new furniture, etc. All in all, we definitely got much better results than my parents (who also redid their bathroom recently).

Michael and his team gutted and installed a new kitchen in our newly purchased condo. As with any renovation, there were glitches, but he dealt with them quickly and efficiently. We are very happy with the end result and would recommend him, and his team for your next renovation project.

We hired level up basement to do our basement this fall. We wanted something that was classy, modern and gave a clean appeal. This was an extension to our existing modern home and we wanted the theme to continue throughout. Michael and his team understood our vision and made it a reality. The design process was outstanding. Excellent workmanship. Each team of workers were very efficient. End product was remarkable. Michael was very helpful with his suggestions. He supplied a written contract before reno started so there never was a problem or conflict of what was expected.
