I like to say to all that are upset and complained about the cancelled project, get over. This was 4 years ago. I bought my unit at Wish condo another project, I wa very impressed, it's the best. Good quality products I got as standard, for other builders this would be an upgrade. In the cancelled project nobody lost money, but lost an investment, that's why everyone is mad. But this is not the only builder that has cancel a project, many have and many will do. I also angry because I was buying at Cosmo as a first time buyer, close to the subway, highways and cheap very low price. That's why everyone is mad. Move on as I did and now I am very happy in my place at Wish with good service. I got all done and to those complainers, you always going to be miserable and complain, chill out and take a deep breath and move on.

I bought my first condo at Wish Condos and I couldn't be happier. I love my suite design and coming home is my favourite thing to do. I have recommended Liberty to my other home-seeking friends.

Our occupancy for wish condo was on November 29,2019 and still these.people giving us notice that the condo is not ready. How.scam you are. Do not buy anything from this company and be careful with the real state agent when you buy any pre construction. Fred Darvish, just.you and your family

Absolutely horrible. If you're looking for extreme disappoint, poor / non existent communication, a ruthless & greedy sales company, this is the vendor for you. Buyer beware.

Do not buy from them, think about this: if the price increase, they cancel and you get nothing, if the price doesn't increase, you get nothing. That's 100% lose

Bought a unit from them before. Unit was not bad. Regular delays, nothing out of the ordinary. I think most of the negative comments come from angry buyers at the Cosmos condos where they cancelled. It's unfortunate, hope they don't do it again.

Took 60k deposit for 2 years and canceled the project a month before they were supposed to start building, and then gave back the money with no intrest even tho it stated in the agreement that if the project was canceled we would get our money back + the intrest. Do not purchase from liberty you will be scammed.

Keep away from these guys and their subsidiary companies. Cosmos Condos got cancelled after two years.

Beware of Liberty Development! Through my personal experience in dealing with Marco Filice and his team at one of the projects, I now know this is a corporation that only cares to make a buck, lacks integrity and has no problem screwing those who purchase their condo units.

My experience has been with Centro Square retail condos. The retail project at Centro Square, the first indoor retail space besides Vaughan Mills, I feel was so poorly handled, that even after two years, the second floor still remains largely vacant, with only a handful of merchants open for business.

What was originally advertised as a “prime retail shopping space”, what originally led to
my purchase, has now been coined the next “Pacific Mall” for beauty salons.

After several requests from us purchaers, to have visible signage on the building, indicating retail Shops, Liberty Development instead put a Telecon sign on the retail portion of the building- a business that has occupied the office towers. There still is no street front signage on the building, for retail shops.

Us merchants are now crying the blues because there is absolutely 0 traffic count: can’t lease these vacant units, no buyers will look at this space, yet monthly dues still need to be paid.

In my opinion, Liberty Development had no plan for the retail units to be a success, the staff are all disorganized, they lack retail experience, have no clue what they are doing and have a horrible, rude attitude!

If considering to purchase, know that you won’t get your own thermostat as they are shared, if you have any ventilation requirements you will be screwed, they demand specific costly materials be used during construction despite what your budget might be, they have less than adequate parking spaces and they will lure you to pay an additional “marketing fee” to help lease your space which is a money grab. Property management is owned by Marco, which presents a conflict in dealing with any resolution.

They will strongly suggest you lease or sell your unit at a loss but yet charge top dollar.
They see that there is no problem in having 10 businesses within the same industry, because competition is “good”, so exclusivity is not an option when purchasing; unless you have deep pockets and become friendly with Marco or Latif, in which case, you will most certainly get your exclusivity clause.
But if your pockets aren’t deep, and you are trying to get into the retail or trying your hand in real estate investments, do yourself a favour, don’t do business with Liberty Development or any other alias name where Marco Filice and Latif are involved. You will save yourself a lot of money and headaches.

If still not convinced, come visit Centro Square Shops or visit their other mess of a project at World on Yonge! See for yourself what your investment will look like.
Buyer beware!

I live in a building these ppl built, it's only 4 years old and falling apart. Costs us tons of money in major repairs and special assessments because of the poor labour and low quality building materials. They also appointed their own property management company who ran the building for 3 years and were well on their way to bankrupting us before we fired them. Looking back at the records, there's LOTS of money unaccounted for and suspicious transactions (ex - paid invoices for work and jobs that were never completed or required). STEER CLEAR OF THEIR FUTURE PROJECTS!

If I can give 0 star I will just do it. Inquires emailed to headquarter can never be replied. Condo quality is below 0. I don't know where these people find these condo managers. Those old HK ladies don't know how to deal with issues within the building and they only help people from HK. After I read reviews of this company, I realized this company is totally a scam.

Liberty.what a scam. They can just cancel 3 condo projects for no reason and won't offer you any compensation. Just don't buy from them.

Can’t explain how much this company has screwed many people’s lives. Honestly it is really pathetic

Do not trust and do not buy from this builder. They manipulate the law and their clients.

They intentionally took deposits for 1000 units, kept it for over 2 years and then cancelled the project saying they didn't budget properly. It was all planned. Research the company, they don't have financing issues. The purchasers have started a lawsuit. Don't waste your time.

Don't listen to these good reviews about Centro square, very bad customer service. Doesn't return emails, save yourself the headache.

Great builder. Got a unit at Centro. On time and great quality. Don’t listen to the haters.

Very unethical and heartless of Liberty to cancel the Cosmo condos project for no legitimate reason. Now hundreds of buyers have lost their future home.
