Liberty Shawarma

Good Shawarma Plates and Wraps. The beef is juicy most of the time and their salad is mostly fresh which is refreshing from some other places in the area. Good portion and good deals for Bogo on Uber eats.

Sometimes it can fall a little flat when the meat is a little dry, but doesn’t always happen. It’s a place I would recommend if you’re in the area for a decent shawarma.

Their green hot sauce is actually spicy and really tasty.

Has to be the worst shawama place ever. The falafel and chicken shawarms are okay. But I had the kafta wrap today and it felt like I was eating grass. Can’t believe I paid $18 for two of these.

Gone downhill. Quantity of food for the price is a joke. If you ask for the same amount as other locations, they try to charge extra (even for lentils in a shawarma wrap).

Better go to other Liberty Shawarma locations where food and service is better.

Got 1 beef shawarma for 20 bucks and felt sick next day. Sketchy place with low quality food

Cashier/server was great and friendly, but the shawerma is oily, overpriced, and not worth it at all. Would not recommend.

Very rude and patronizing staff. Disrespectful towards women I did not feel safe here. Staff were over charging me and gave me the wrong order. They then tried to argue that I ordered something I did not and were laughing. Even when I showed my total that I paid on my card they told me they "couldn't hear me" (even though he had EarPods in his ears listening to music) Very different treatment then the male customers in line. And the food sucks. Don't bother

One of the OG places for Lebanese food in cityplace, have been going to this place for ages. Highly recommend for its quality, quantity and customer service. Got stomach sick, asked for 2 wraps in the night. The one I have not eaten the next day clearly stinks as spoiled meat, be careful.

Amazing staff! I made a mistake on my order (it was my fault) and they made me a fresh one. Got the large chicken shawarma and fries and as always it was very very good! Highly recommend!

Chicken shawarma was pretty good but I tried to call ahead they said I had to order it in house. It took me 10 min to get there then had to order it, it could have been ready when I got there but for what ever reason that was to much for them to handle. Food was good staff were not.

Today I was there and ordered shish tawook sandwich, it was such a salad sandwich! No chicken, only salad. Plus, tables were dirty.
Bad experience.

Place was filty. Rice was cold, overcooked and mushy. Potatoes were uncooked. The rest of the salad also looked disgusting. Chicken felt pretty dry. I took two bites and threw it out. Never again.

I was at the store to buy 2 combos of shawarma's plate and from the beginning I asked the attendant not to put anything spicy. When I got home, the food was so spicy that I had to throw it away. 35 dollars given away in the trash! I leave it as feedback The restaurant learns that not everyone likes food, this should be neutral, the consumer chooses whether he wants it or not.

Went over the weekend to this place since it's close by and was shocked by how the rude the staff was. Walked out without ordering. Would not recommend.

Food is okay - I had chicken shawarma a couple of times, BUT:

- a lot of oil - unhealthy
- kitchen seems disgusting and smells bad - unhygenic

The meat was not tender, the side salad was terrible without any sauce.overall one if the worst Shawarma I've ever had

Part of my end-of-the-week ritual. I always grab a chicken shawarma salad with the same toppings. Ibrahim and Santiago ALWAYS take care of me with huge portions. Honestly, nice way to sit, chat, and get a good meal at the end of the day.

I made my order at 11: 20pm and they didn't accept or deny it and then they closed at midnight.

I'm in alignment with the other negative reviews. 3/3 negative experience here, it's only conveniently close but everytime I go, I remember why I look for alternatives

Bad service (rude behaviour), and only for a small chicken shawarma wrap they charged $11 (other shawarma places charge much less and taste better) and the toppings were not fresh at all.

I just had one of my worst food experience.

I asked for mixed. Once I saw the meat, I asked for one mixed and one chicken. He gave me 90% meat for both which was discusting. He added half a pound of butter to soften the meat.

I paid at the beginning. At the end he wasn't giving me my food as he said I haven't paid yet. Luckily I had the recipient.

I would never go back again!

Terrible. No, no, no, a million times no! I found a dead cockroach on the floor of my booth. They can survive a nuclear explosion, but the entree was too much for them. The beef was so undercooked it started eating the salad. Eating here is like playing Russian Roulette, only you have a 5 out of 6 chance of getting food poisoning.

I can summarize my visit in one word: Terrible. My shoes were stained with rat droppings after leaving this place. I think this place was featured on Kitchen Nightmares, or at least it should have been. The service was terrible. The waiter was very air-headed. I found an eyelash that definitely wasn't mine in my food. I wish I could put a sign out front that said "DON'T COME HERE! "

Very old vegetables and toppings. The food was not matching the price and the meat was almost raw. The man was rude and the kitchen was filled with oil and filth. The pieces of meat and leftovers were everywhere on the countertop where he was cooking. The chicken was mediocre at best while the portion in was insufficient in quantity for what I paid (13$) for a very small pita with a small scoop of meat. I will never come back again and will recommend nobody to go there. Awful.

Liberty Shawarma is my go to place for take out in city place. The food is delicious, portions are generous and the staff are lovely (thanks for everything Ibrahim)

Worst Shawarma place In downtown Toronto, the food was served cold, not up to the price. Chicken was served raw. And most importantly the vegetables were days old. Very rude owners that doesn't listen and refuses to anything asked. Hope they could do better.

We live in the neighborhood and visit the Spadina location often. Always pleased with the food and service, especially from Santiago. See you soon!

Terrible. Bad food, awful service. Beef was tough as leather and the guy serving me worked in slow motion while yelling obscenities into his phone. Total waste of time and mediocre food.

I have been frequent bought from this place. The sandwiches tastes great! And the staff is friendly!

If you love Shawarma, this is not the place for you. Extremely small portions. EXPENSIVE. Overall terrible place to spend your $$ for a meal.

Great customer service. They prepare the food to the customers preference. Customers should not hesitate to ask them to make any changes to their food over here, because they do accommodate their customers.

Shawarma is excellent. They have a variety of selections on toppings. Make it nice & spicy. Staff is fast and friendly. Not much space for indoor dining. Ideal for takeout.

Ordered takeout recently, I was the only person in the restaurant and the employee was trying to make my food as fast as humanly possible. He ended up dropping one of the shawarmas on the ground. He sheepishly looked up to see if I had seen, and when he realized that I had he tried to explain that because it is wrapped it didn't actually touch anything on the ground. I asked for it to be remade and he begrudgingly complied. In his haste to remake it, he ripped the pita and didn't even put it on the grill.

Honestly, the food was pretty good, all things considered. But the portion size is smaller than when I was there earlier this year, and the health and food handling standards are abysmal.

No one said hi when we walked in and the lady in the front didn't say anything to us till another customer came in, then she called someone in the back to get our orders. Shawarma was a scam, bunch of veggies with 1/2 cup of meat and the sauce was super watery and tasteless. Do not recommend.

Horrible place with.mosquitos around the toppings, unfortunately iplaced the order before i saw the dirty toppings and the place as i was hungry will never visit again

One of the better shawarma places in town. I've yet to have dry meat here and they load up your wrap. Seasoned fries are bomb

Awesome shawarma place. Really liked the chicken - moist, flavourful, etc. Location isn't huge and not the most formal - really a take-out/delivery place. Great location, great service, great food!

It is a place to try Shawarma beef or chicken! I really love the Falafels and the Kebabs, es un buen lugar con gran variedad en platillos típicos del medio oriente. Buenos precios y combos! Para mí poco "spicy" pero deliciosos!

Liberty shawarma is a good place to get shawarma, it is fair priced and the service is good. I would recommend their basic chicken or beef shawarma and if your pallet likes it try some of their other good food!

My husband eats here often but today he got diarrhea. 100% sure it was from the food here as he did not eat anything else today. Please watch the food handling. I will retract my review if I receive a adequate response.

Honestly something is wrong with this people. I called in order before hand to pick up my food. They keep telling me to order uber eats. They have mediocre food anyways. Just something quick and cheap. They either can't understand technology or you can't even use simple basic phone to order food. Why would I need uber eats, if I am picking up my own food?

Definitely the worst shawarma I’ve had. Potatoes were straight up cold. Will not eat at any of these establishments any further.
