I won’t be back. They promised they’d get me the most back from my return, yet when I told them I wanted to claim work from home expenses (had my WFH declaration from my employer as well so I could claim the extra expenses), suddenly it was too much work for them I guess and I couldn’t claim anything. This is a joke right?
So much for helping me get the most back from my return. Didn’t help matters that the rep handling my taxes kept asking his boss for guidance almost every time I had a question. More time was spent talking to her than me and actually working on my return. Do not waste your time or money here.

Absolutely horrible to deal with. They've had my corporate taxes for over a year. They keep ghosting me every time I try to get them back or filed. They have everything signed and have not filed them nor have they released them back to me.
I physically went there today (Tuesday at about 1pm) to settle everything; have it returned to me or filed. Apparently their 9-5 Monday to Friday hours of operation is only a suggestion. I was informed that no one currently there could help me or access my files. No one!
I was told to come back the following day. Absolutely atrocious.
I will return at 9m and if I a still not able to get my files accessed, I will be seeking legal action against them.

I have been filing my annual taxes for 3 years at this place. It has been very pleasant and good experience. I always approached to Krunal Patel for this. He did help me and has done fantastic job while filing my taxes. His suggestions helped me a lot to get better return. I highly recommend this person for tax return as he makes it so smooth and super easy. Thank you!

They scammed my dad. He had to pay $119 for his simple tax return, total rip off.

Update: since I’ve made this review 4 weeks ago, he still hasn’t received his tax return back… This company called him three days after he went there to file saying that they didn’t send it in until 4 days after he was originally there…

I was scammed. Seniors and people who may not know the actual costs beware. Cost me $119 for my return and there was nothing special about it.
Update: I went 4 weeks ago and still no return back. They ended up calling me 4 days after my visit to say they had JUST filed the paperwork… 4 days AFTER I went to file

Elke at liberty tax is amazing. She's helped me every year for the past 6 years, I won't go anywhere else but to her. Looking forward to many more years of service with her

I recently had a huge tax problem and Elka from this location was not only super helpful, she went above and beyond! She personally called me when you saw my problem was fixed. I had to see her a few times to rectify the problem and she was so knowledgeable, professional and compassionate! I will always use these guys as they are always so kind and amazing! 100%!

I have used Liberty Tax, specifically this location for many years. Always a great experience and this year, with COVID, was no exception. Krunal completed most of my tax assessment over the phone. All I had to do was come in meet with him briefly & sign my paperwork. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and I will continue to be a patron of this establishment for many years to come. Keep up the good work!

10/10 would recommend. Krunal is one of the associates there, and he is super friendly. Explains everything and makes sure to not overcharge. Won my business simply because of customer service!

I filed my taxes here last year and again this year because their customer service (at the Main Street East location) is wonderful.

However, i have been sitting here for 2 hours this year "waiting for a supervisor" out of the King Street location to review my return before it can be issued.im sorry, but if your business is in income tax and it is INCOME TAX SEASON, who thought up the policy that ONE PERSON will have to review all of the tax returns above a certain amount for ALL of the Liberty Tax Service locations on a Saturday before they can be issued? ! These are the customers who Liberty Tax Service is profiting the most off of? ! Such an inconvenience after working an 18 hour shift to be sitting here waiting for this long. I will reconsider who i file my taxes with next year. This is ridiculous.

Amazing! Thanks so much Liberty Tax and a big thanks to Ruth, she worked very hard to help me out with such stressful things like taxes! I absolutely recommend coming here if you hate doing taxes. You won’t hate it anymore! Haha:)

My partner and i had an emergency.we were assigned to the new girl who convinced us to file as common law as it would be benefitial. She then said i had to file mine first b4 my partner could file his (me having less income than him would boost his return) then after filing it she tells us only one of us can recieve their return today and the other would have to wait.she then speaks to her boss and comes back to tell us neither of us will recieve it today and we have to wait 3 weeks for CRA to confirm due to change in marital status.in the end we were still forced to pay almost $300 despite the massive inconvenience.please make sure your employees inform people at the BEGINNING.

Horrible customer service and they ask personal invasive things not pertaining To the tax return it’s self

They messed up my taxes so bad. Wrong address, messed up my gst, trillium and my baby bonus. I will never do my taxes here again! Having the same income year to year nothing should have changed! Now my spouse receives his money separately and we get less money. Horrible.

Went there for the first time this year. The girl was very nice who prepared our taxes. But didnt know what she was doing at all. Took maybe 2 hours to do 2 basic tax returns pous kept making mistakes and had to re do a few times. We were shocked by how EXPENSiVE it was. Damn 89 bucks each for efile! Will not be returning.

Great place to do your taxes, had them do mine and my partners return and they were very understanding and helpful to our unique situation. Great customer service and Ruth was amazing!
