Made an appointment a couple days in advance for 10: 20am and was out by 10: 40am. Nurse taking my blood was friendly and cheerful and very efficient, and results within 2 days for standard tests. No complaints from me! Easy experience.

I’ve been to a few LifeLabs, and this one is my favourite. The staff are friendly, the place is clean. There is barely ever a wait!

This lad has to one the worst in the city was told 39 minutes wait and still waiting for 2hr. They are so overwhelmed in here and clue what tech is doing what and which patients are done and what was done. So unprofessional and we have this people with their life results.

I really have nothing but positive things to say about this clinic. I had to go for my 2hr glucose test and I had booked it exactly two hours before they closed. They were super gracious with me and I'm forever thankful for that. I loved the staff. They were kind and thoughtful and friendly. Sadly my Dynacare is closer so in normal situations I'd be going there (in Roncy, also love that location), but if I had to return here again I wouldn't hesitate to!

Slowest, laziest staff I've ever seen! If you have an appointment they're great, you're done so quickly and they're very friendly. But for those who couldn't make an appointment they make you wait for almost 2 hours, doing NOTHING in between patients. Been to other locations and bever seen anything like this place. It's as if they're trying to prove they can only handle the bare minimum appointment load and nothing more. Go to the Lakeshore/Park Lawn location, they are amazing and efficient!

They closed EARLY and when I arrived claimed that they are closed and can’t take my blood… quite disappointed as I had taken the day off from work and planned my day per their regular hours that’s listed on their website and on their door. The man working inside was unwilling to open the door (during their work hours) and continued to ignore me and said that he has already started the process of closing their systems (again before their listed closing time). Him and the woman that left the clinic were extremely rude and it seemed they didn’t care about their patients and only wanted to leave their work early…

These folks are professional, adept and friendly. I feel completely at ease putting myself in their hands. The covid crisis was a huge stresser on us all - they handled it with grace and a human element. Don't be put off by the nay-sayers here. These are good folks with great skills.

These folks are both helpful and skilful. I arrived today with no requisition slip. When I explained that my doc had told me to do bloods one month after the last test, she forgot to pass along the paperwork. No problem at the lab. They gave me their fax number, I called the doc's office and the requisition came in in 5 minutes. I barely felt the venipuncture. This is consistent with all past visits (my condition requires regular blood work). The staff are warm, welcoming and highly professional.

We had such a good experience here today, the receptionist and the technician both were efficient and friendly, especially the technician who did our blood work today was wonderful to work with, she handled my anxiety so perfectly, she was super friendly and caring, I will probably come here again whenever needed.

Hands down, best blood draw experience I’ve had from life labs. The staff and lab techs are professional, kind and friendly and the blood draw is painless and quick. Especially blood drawn from lab tech named Arcelie, she has proficient phlebotomy technique.

I feel like things have really improved at this LifeLabs. I went for a walk-in today. Staff at reception was efficient. Technician were all very friendly and I was finished within 15min. The clinic was also super clinic and everyone was masked and socially distant in the waiting area.

Staff are friendly but you guys are understaffed, exhausting ur employees and making everyone wait in life for at least 60 min including senior is unacceptable and unprofessional for a lab providing health services, i am sure you make enough money to hire more employees

Very poor experience. Arrived at 8.40am, long line, no communication from staff. Get to desk after 25 min wait. Staff member repeats that they do not understand me even though English is my first language. Find out it's a 45 min wait. Ask to make an appointment, staff say to call up even though I'm there in person. Frustrating and disappointing. Avoid.

Do not go to this location. I went here for a routine blood test. I advised the person taking my blood that I have smaller veins and they usually end up taking blood from my hand with a butterfly needle. She refused saying “I’m not doing that, we’ll be here all day”. I reluctantly let her go ahead and she took blood from arm. As soon as she withdrew the needle I had intense pain in my left arm that progressively got worse until I was in so much pain I felt nauseous. The lady went to get an ice pack and basically blamed me saying she has never seen this before. I have never in my life had this happen. I asked her what I should do as it was getting worse and she said she didn’t know and that they were closing soon. I decided to leave as they were not helping me at all. On the way out she asked me to confirm my name and said “ok I’ll remember that, I’m never taking blood from you again, you’re trouble”. I was almost in tears leaving and ended up in the ER with a suspected superficial blood clot from the bad blood draw. Only now, almost 2 weeks later has my arm stopped hurting. I tried calling their call center and nobody ever picks up. Do not go to this location or any life labs for that matter, their staff are not professionals.

I came in as a walk-in and they were friendly and understanding in my experience, even when I wasn't familiar with the process. Of course I had to wait a little longer since I hadn't made an appointment, but I was seen in about 18 mins.

Had an appointment, arrived on time. However someone cut the line, and got the service before me and I had to wait another hour. I got panelized for my decency. What a a joke.

The worst LifeLabs. Staff will only allow one person in at a time so you have to wait 30 minutes past your appointment time in order to check in for your appointment, however if the staff disagree with you they'll call the entire line outside into the check in area! The travel time to any other location is a better use of your time.

There is free 2 hours parking on site. I booked an appointment for the same day and it was pretty painless. There might be a lineup if you don't have an appointment and everything was run smoothly.

Super nice staff. Very compassionate and caring for those who are uncomfortable getting blood tests.
They really try to make it as painless as possible. In a nutshell, if you are nice they are extremely appreciative. Its not an easy job especially during a pandemic.

Worst LifeLab I have been to, a cero for customer service skills. This place is short staffed and LifeLabs is responsible for this, but chooses to do nothing about it.

I have booked an appointment at this lab twice and I was very impressed by the quick service. The young filipina technician was very kind and polite. I didn't feel the needle at all.

Great service, fast, friendly, professional. Full suite of tests completed quickly with no waiting in a well controlled COVID-safe lab. My tech was very informative and helpful.

I’m writing this public review because today during my appointment I overheard one of the lab techs, the one taking my blood, agree with another person that they “wouldn’t get the COVID vaccine” and that they were going to “take oregano oil for health” this kind of pseudoscientific BS is dangerous to the public as they’re in people-facing jobs, drawing blood from patients.

I will also be reporting the lab techs to Life Labs and will no longer be booking appointments at this location if the staff member in question is there.

All lab techs at this location should be retrained and perhaps get more education.

Lifelabs has gotten much better in terms of wait times. I haven't been there in 3months but I used to go once every other week and the lineup would be so long. Even after checking into the lifelabs Save my Spot app they would constantly seem to accept first come first serve even though my spot was "reserved" Today the app was not in service to check in so it was first come first serve. It wasn't even busy yet for two vials of blood I was in there for a total of 30mins

I really believe that they can improve this by actually looking at their queue on the screen they have up to see who has saved a spot and call out the names when they come out to check us into the lab. THEN check in the ones with no appointments. I noticed they move extremely slow, and if there was someone to coordinate the line, while one types in the requisitions, and one is doing the blood withdrawal. The coordinator should keep the line flowing, clear the chairs and calling each patient into the next room to keep things moving.

As someone who is Immunocompromised I don't want to have to spend no more than 30mins max due to COVID-19. A lady I spoke with who was waiting her turn claims to have waited almost 3hrs and she is diabetic! Vulnerable populations and individuals considered high risk should NOT be spending so much time in a lab waiting filled with patients and staff who could unknowingly have the virus (asymptomatic) JUST SAYING! But today was an improvement as my wait was only 30mins or so and I arrived there at 10: 30am (usually a full line by then however it did ️ so maybe why less busy today?) I will edit in a week when I go back.

Note: MANAGEMENT YOU NEED MORE THAN TWO PEOPLE working at a time again JUST SAYING. Makes me want to apply there and work there just to improve the service coordination and flow.

Booked an appointment, arrived 7min early, handed in my papers, was told to take a seat. Waited 10-15min, was finally told to go to a room, and then waited for another 10min, until I heard my name being called from the front desk. Went over and was asked if I had my papers, I told them that I had given them to who ever it was that let me in, along with my health card. She shuffled some papers around only to discover that it was right beside her on the paper rack.and told me to take a seat. Waiting another 10min until I'm finally graced my the techs presence. Waited over 40min PAST my appointment time. Horrible.

For a medical facility, their bedside manners sure aren’t up to par. The front desk staff is short, unfriendly and acts more like cattle herders than customer-facing professionals.

We’re not talking about expecting the royal treatment here, but medical procedures are often stressful enough that the aggravation of a rude staff makes the experience really sour.

It wouldn’t take much to change that, but as things currently are, it’s bad.

This Bloor West Junction location is necessary to me because they are able to target my small veins. It is clean with a large waiting room. Very busy.
Bernie has been looking after my mom and myself for years. She is great. This past visit, Hodan, looked after me, successfully. She got my difficult vein without a hitch. Very nice. This team is capable and efficient.

The receptionist seemed like she was doing her job carefully on the computer, and the two ladies drawing blood were friendly. The lady I had was very good, compassionate and did a good job.

I've had mixed experiences here. Often a wait but last time there was no wait on a Tuesday afternoon. However they did leave a huge bruise on my arm and submitted my paperwork incorrectly so my blood was rejected and I have to go back to have my blood taken again.

I felt like my presence was a nuisance the second I arrived, and the front desk staff had no interest in helping me.

Edit: I went back to get my bloodwork done regardless of the reception I received. I've had my bloodwork done countless times. I've never bruised from a needle. Nor have I ever bled so much. I feel like I got brutalized by a single needle.

Worst customer experience ever. Bernadette was incredibly rude and so very unhelpful. From the very beginning she raised her voice to uncomfortable level. I was left shaking when I walked away from the front desk.

Horrible experience. Technician took blood and it left a bruise for week like I've never had before. Brought in a sample from home, was told I didn't have all the paperwork, got turned away. Went through the trouble of having the paperwork by the doctor sent in, next lady told me I didn't need it when I came back. Don't go to this location if your health depends on it!

Went with my spouse for a booked appointment. No one at front desk for 20-25 minutes, because apparently they only have one person working all jobs on a Saturday morning. Lineup of at least 20 people waiting for tests. So appointment happened a good 30+ minutes later than booked. Do yourself a favour choose another lab.

Nice quick service. Staff kind of polite, and helpful with inquiries. The site has parking underground, and it is free for 2 hours, time enough to take your samples at the lab and leave.
