Friendliest staff I've encountered at any Lifelabs. Even though my walk-in was at a busy time, the wait was much shorter than expected. Quick service.

Horrible experience! For an ECG you aree topless, no gown, towel, napkin or anything. I was very uncomfortable, and I had to ask for a napkin that was basicale thrown on me. Even though I was uncomfortable and told the nurse that I had never had an ECG, she proceeded to do stick the sensors all over, including lifting my breasts. If she had taken 5 seconds to explain what she was doing, it would have gone a long way. After the test, the nurse grabbed all the wires and janked them off all at once, sending the napking flying leaving me exposed. Then the nurse proceeded to open the door and leave without giving me a chance to cover myself. Horrible place! Go to another location if you can.

The process was alright, but everything after that was terrible. They told me they will send the results to my physician within 2-3 business days… it’s been almost two weeks. Nothing. Getting ANY sort of response from them is a nightmare. Over AN HOUR on the phone to talk to them, and they just hang up! Trying to get my results online requires an appointment number that requires… another call? Which is, you guessed it, ANOTHER HOUR on hold. Absolutely terrible experience. How difficult can it be to just send the results on time? It’s healthcare, people depend on it.

I booked an appointment 5 days ago for Nov 18 and there was only 11: 50 am available. I arrived there at 10: 40am. I waited, waited, and waited.
Others came after their appointment admitted immediately. Others came for their 11,11: 20,11: 30 appointments got called immediately.some didn't have an appointment came after me and admitted way earlier than me.
I approached them and asked them what's going on.they told me I have to wait for my appointment time. Around 11: 30, I asked to give me back my paper and I wanted to leave.they didn't respond. I saw them continued to call people came after me, at 11: 40, I asked for my paper, nobody respond. Right at 11: 49, the lady called me and ask: "do you want you paper and leave now? "
How indifferent and careless are they!

Too busy. Never had to wait over an hour for blood tests. I advise everyone not to do walk in at this location. I came at 8 am and still waiting at 9am.

I went to the dentist in this place, BE VERY CAREFUL BECAUSE THE AGREED PRICES ARE NOT RESPECTED, THEY WANT TO CHARGE YOU MORE, THERE IS NO ETHICS IN THIS PLACE, BE VERY CAREFUL!

Never have a ever been so mistreated in my life, one of these staff members was very rude, i came in to this location to ask if it was ok i did i test without my health card due to the fact i had misplaced it that morning, was told i need to be aware of laws and ect, i had responded to the lady i am aware of the laws i was born in Canada, she went on to yell at me because she took it as i called her stupid for not being from Canada, i am currently pregnant, and told her i dont need to be yelled at, going on screaming about how i was abusing her, then started crying, i was frustrated that a simple question i asked turned on me to be yelled at. Never did i call her a name or raise my voice, i am just appalled at her lack of professionalism and misunderstanding of communication. And the fact that all staff said nothing to her about mistreating a patient, is very sad, the fact that i asked her to stop yelling multiple time and her coworkers laughed at it was so disrespectful.

Worst experience, they don’t know how to manage walk ins and appointment based patients.
They assisted people who came after me (walk ins)
It took me more than 2 hours. The waiting on the screen was increasing all the time.

Worst day that I picked this lab for my test.

Have used this place a lot. Even with the pressure of other labs closing around them they still smile and give great service. Don’t expect to not wait. Anywhere you go you’ll wait. I waited 1 hour. Then took a glucose drink and had to be retested 2 hours later. It was a breeze but long morning.

Everything was good there except for one lady who worked there that had the nerve to yell out to another patient in front of everyone “when was the last time you took your lithium” I was so appalled and poor lady looked so miserable. I did blood work there maybe 2 months ago ish. For that it gets 1 star.

Train your technicians to not blurt out things like that

They don't take walks in, offering appointments for basic blood tests after your actual doctor's appointment dates. No mercy.
Very cold and unprofessional service. Why would I go there for scheduling my appointment? I wax not aware that you can't just walk in and wait. I drove from Sunnybrook there to get my blood test done, because I always had my blood test done at Royal York Life Labs. It was the last time for me.

Rude young girl on the desk. She sounds like she hates being here, at one point she raised her voice "Tennnnn, it's only 9: 44" on clients who came in a little early. I felt bad, they were nice people too.

I walked into a life labs today 1446 Royal York rd The lab was completely empty, and they asked me to book an appointment. I'm kind of beside myself as to why I need to schedule something that can be done in under 5 min when I walk in? Also hours of operation are only till four pm. Is it just me that works during the day?

Don't walk in expecting an appointment. You need to make an appointment ahead of time. I suggest using the internet because I have not met such a nasty, unhelpful woman behind the counter as I did here today. Definitely going to any other location!

I appreciate the fact that i made a mistake on my appt. Time and they still put me in the Queue

Very efficient, Staff was very experience, and courteous, and friendly. The lady who drew my blood, did not feel a thing, amazing!

Finding a parking space was a bit of a struggle at this location, but it was worth it. The lab ladies are outstanding, efficient and organized.

Not long wait times and friendly staff. Comfortable environment and good service.
All in all good experience.

Give these ladies a round of applause. Professional quick and only one poke for blood. Come here if you have small veins. Super clean too!

Usually I’m a nervous nelly with getting bloodwork done but this lab is FANTASTIC. Gentle caring staff that will put you at ease and make it as painless as possible. I’d recommend booking an appointment online ahead of time.

Excellent and timely service. Free parking. Accessible. Elevator at front door. Labs on floor B. Quiet and courteous environment.
