Easy online booking to schedule an appointment for blood work. Parking is in the back of the building for $2.50/hour. LifeLabs is located immediately to your left when entering from the parking lot. Have your health card and requisition from your family doctor ready, and your name will show up on the screen according to your time slot. Walk-ins are available too; the wait time was about 39 mins (as shown on screen when I was there this morning. There are 3 booths for blood-drawing, with an upright chair that can swivel. You can also request to do it lying down on a bed, and also draw blood with a baby needle. The lady who helped me was very accommodating with my requests, and made me feel comfortable throughout the session, thank you!

One of the asian nurse with ponytail was quick and smooth with taking my blood, I almost didn’t feel it

I normally don't give 1 star but this place is not ethically right that's why I'm giving it.

First of all, when they were checking my name on the computer and asked if I sent them the prescription. I told them I printed it and handed it to them. All of a sudden they called someone else in front of me and processed another customer appointment. I had to wait there just standing until she finished the other person’s appointment. If you needed to do that first, why start my process? Very unorganized.

When the nurse took a blood sample from me, she wiped my skin with an alcohol swab and touched my clean area with her glove…. Why did you contaminate my skin again her gloves were not sterile…. And she put the needle. Since the needle is sterile I do not worry too much about infection but it's just not the correct practice for injection. I am a healthy individual but for people with weak immune systems, this can be a problem.

I didn't argue cuz I don't want any problem and need this to be done today. But I will never come back here again.

The brown hair nurse who collected the blood sample was rude, unprofessional and annoyed. Was not caring at all. Was acting like she is the boss and I was there for her mercy. No sense of customer service or kindness.

This was the most unprofessional and upsetting experience I've had at a lifelabs and I get my blood done at least once every month. She used the biggest needle even when I forewarned them of my difficult veins. Would not recommend or return here at all. I know other lifelabs where they are nice and friendly.

I am not going back to this unhappy environment. But the receptionist lady was nice.

Descent service. My experience is not bad. I have found the staff quiet efficient. Though I got negative feedback before I personally visited this place. I didn't find anything wrong.

The staff here are all so nice. The lab is run efficiently. We waited ~10min only even though they had patients one after another. Thank you especially to Irma for being so attentive and kind to my son who is really afraid of needles. Your patient care and phlebotomy skills are both exceptional

I was at this location last week and can say everything was perfect. First of all, before coming, I read all reviews of all Lifelab laboratories around, and almost all of them had terrible reviews. I was disappointed but, anyway, had to go somewhere to get my analysis. I decided to go to this location and never be upset.
I think people forget to leave positive reviews so I will share my experience.
I booked my appointment one day in advance for 12: 35 and arrived on time. They saw my booking, and I waited in line for not more than 5 mins. After 5 minutes, the adorable lady took the blood for the analysis, and I didn’t feel the needle. Everything was rapid and without any hurt.
I spent 10 minutes there overall.

PS: Parking is paid; it’s 2.5$ per hour, and no half an hour options

Horrible place to go to. I booked an appointment and arrived before my time. They still put me in the queue and asked me to wait. Do not recommend this place to anyone

I have a serious needle phobia and avoid getting bloodwork even when it's necessary and not routine. Jocelyn was kind and funny, kept me distracted, and was finished mercifully quickly. She also pronounced my name perfectly, which is a thing that doesn't happen.

This was the most unprofessional and upsetting experience I've had at a lifelabs and I get my blood done every 3 months. I walked out without critical tests being done because of incompetence with two different nurses, even when I forewarned them of my difficult veins.

I come to lifelabs specifically because of their expertise and would not recommend or return here at all.

Digging around, bruising, painful. And the tests weren't even completed, and now I'm hesitant and nervous to get them done right now. I know other lifelabs where they can do it quickly and efficiently so I will drive an hour away to try there. Ridiculous: (

Amazing. I had a panic attack in anticipation of blood work but they reassured me it would be fine.

I explained that I had trauma in my arm where I had a blood draw before and the phlebotomist gave me a baby needle instead!

Amazing client care.

Staffs are great. I finished didn't book appointment but it was done within 30min. There's a charge on parking.

I’m pregnant and went today to this LifeLabs for a diabetes test. I made the appointment online and was pleasantly surprised they saw me right on time and had a digital board with all the patients’ names and time of appointment. It also said that the time for walk-ins was around 40 minutes.

Because of the nature of the test I had to come back one hour later to get my blood drawn and, again, they provided the service right away.

Very pleased with my experience.

I went there today for blood work and I got rude unprofessional Elsa. So much attitude. She should consider a job that is not client facing. There is always a sour apple who blames everyone else but doesn't reflect on her own crappiness.

Very very rude staff, they asked me about the time that I collected the sample (they ask me for 100 times) and at the end they did not report the time, so I have to ask my family physician to fill out the form for stool test Again! Also, I am not sure about the environmental hygiene, the lady took my blood while I was sitting in the front of restroom!

Had a pretty good experience the first time I came here so I continue to go out of my way to come to this location. Staff range from very friendly (calling everyone honey) to average and professional. Receptionists can be short but don't really come off as rude to me, probably just stressed trying to keep up with patients.

I've had to wait up to 20 minutes once - would really recommend booking an appointment so they at least put you ahead of walk-ins. Just expect to wait at least 10 minutes everytime regardless. Honestly, I'm not sure there's a lifelabs out there that doesn't operate slow, they're all understaffed!

I always seem to get the same 2 phlebotomists, they're quick, pain free and very considerate of your pain and comfort level with needles. One would check in during the draw as well.

Cubicles organized, clean, and are sanitized after each patient. The washroom is clean enough - no visible accidents around and doesn't smell.

According to a young girl with long hair who works their, everyday they might differently approach and attitude with their patients.
They might like someone more than you and give a chance to her/him to go first in front of your eyes rudely while you were standing in line for a long time and then rudely instead of apologizing makes you feel it is their right to behave in any way they like. Do you know what system works like this? !
There are some new employees who are rude and make a decision with their gut not out of fairness and right plan!
Whoever is thier manager is not implementing and managing well!
Some of them need to leave or learn how to talk and behave with their customers/patients.

The staff here are excellent! Waiting times were accurate and the team was efficient with a problem-solving mindset. So glad I found this location.

This place is crazy.
I made an appointment, but they asked people make a
waiting line.no appointment was necessary.the waiting area is so small and people could not keep the social distance at this COVID time

Check in and appointment options are great tools. I was lucky to go at a low volume time and walked right in. 12pm on a Saturday. Great professional staff and very friendly.

I am so frustrated by their service considering the pandemic and especially the lockdown.
10 people are waiting at the door while everyone has booked an appointment. The are too slow and behind from their schedule. So disappointing.
The staff are so rude and behaving so unprofessional.
I will NEVER come to this location.

I like that location. The staff is friendly and even with all pandemic chaos they operate professionally. Atmosphere is calm. Also it's very close to the subway station. And even without an appointment you could go through pretty fast.

Had bloodwork done today, was postponing it for years due to needle anxiety. But all fears are gone after seeing Irma. She has a light hand and reassuring attitude. I usually get some bruising in the tissue, but not today. It's healing real fast. Irma also explained how to see the results online. I could not ask for a better professional! We need such people in health care.
The front staff was good with me, no problems there. But she did not seem very friendly with other staff member, it's noticeable.
I also liked how they display your name as you are about to be seen. Helps a lot - you don't have to wonder when is your turn.
Overall, I liked this location and will definitely come back (if Irma is still there).

Very clean and fast place, the only problem is that Philapino lady got attitude and a heave hand when it comes to needless, stick to the nice lady with glasses, is my final advice, overall 5/5
