Horrible! I came here thinking it was a nice and considerate place but the front desk lady is hell bent upon punishing people who are 5 minutes late.even the ones that come on time are made to wait for 45 to 50 minutes.they just believe in reprimanding people.not a good place when you have fasted for more than 13 hours.lifelabs need to teach the front desk how to talk to people.really disappointed! If you have fasted for more than 12 hrs and you have health issues please save yourself from the hassle and avoid this place! I've visited other lifelabs which are much better but this one (mainly due to the front desk lady) is a journey through hell! Avoid avoid avoid!

I booked an appointment for my husband and we arrived 10 mins before the set time. He waited for half an hour before he got a booth. It is useless booking online if it's not followed. We ended up missing our other appointment due to the long wait. They prioritized walk-ins and late patients.

I came here with an appointment however I was late by 5 minutes. And I was on a fast from 12.5 hours. The lady in the front desk was rude to me about me arriving late. You expect Life labs to be more considerate and give an appointment at least within the next 30 min. Here I had to wait for 45 min and then upon checking with them again, they said that I have to wait for another 30 min.at this place they would not mind people collapsing in the name of teaching people a lesson for arriving late! Worst experience ever! I would not recommend if u r looking for a nice considerate place.

If I could give zero I would. Absolutely horrible service. First the employees are extremely rude and unprofessional. They talk to you as if you’re stupid and wasting their time. I had blood work and a 24hr collection test. The charges me for the tests and then I found out they lost my collection. I have called multiple times for answers and they will not contact me back. How the hell do you lose a giant container full of urine. Please someone explain to me. Life lava is a joke and I will never again get any testing done. They take your money and then won’t help resolve any problems. Stay far far away from life labs. Absolute joke of a medical facility.

I went for blood work twice with an appointment and they had me waiting for more 50 mins each time and then they always have only one excuse “we’re running behind” I don’t understand the purpose of booking an appointment then.

I would love to give them zero stars
Terrible system.
It doesn’t matter if you have an appointment or not they’ll make you wait.
Do not go there and go to another company.

I booked my appointment online. So it wasn't too long of a wait before I was served. At the most, maybe 5 minutes?

I was hearing that the walk-ins at the time had to wait up to 90 minutes for service. So it definitely helps to book your appointment online prior to visiting.

Service was great otherwise.

Some of the workers were kind and helpful but that is completely overshadowed by the few EXTREMELY RUDE staff! If you don’t want this job then don’t do it but don’t be rude to people who are polite and did nothing wrong. Wouldn’t come back

Called to make an appointment for an analysis, they told me I can drop off the sample week days between 8 & 11. No weekend options. No evenings. No additional times available.

Very, very inconvenient, considering both my husband & I work Monday to Friday. I am very disappointed in the lack of availability for the services I need (which I doubt are uncommon!)

Completely disorganized location. You have to wait over 30-40 mins even if you have a scheduled appointment.

Very unorganised, they don’t honor appointments, everyone sits and waits along with walk in customers.

This place is simply understaffed. Highly inefficient operations with overworked employees who can't attend too many patients. Although you can book an appointment online, but you should still expect at least a 20 minute wait.
Ideally you should print out your requisition before coming here otherwise you're looking at another 10 minutes of a wait time.

I booked an appointment and drove half hour because it was the only place I could book an appointment to have no one acknowledge me for 15 minutes be told to sit without checking in and have been waiting in a room for over 15 minutes. The only reason I drove this far was because I wanted to book an appointment. I do not have the time for this, I might as well of just done a walk in somewhere else closer.

Pretty unorganized here. The staff are cold and not welcoming. They seem to stress that you screen yourself for covid yet are wearing their own masks under their noses. Ive also witnessed them bring someone into a room without sanitizing before somrone else went in. The 2 oatoents actually crossed paths in the doorway.

I had an appointment and was in a room 10 minutes before my appointment time and now it's 10 minutes later. Leaving without being served. Will go somewhere else

Staff are incredibly rude and unorganized. Whether walk-in or appointment you will wait over an hour, and then they will scramble to locate your paperwork/documents to proceed. Highly unprofessional and unintelligent.

This is the best blood collection lab I have ever been to courtesy Lourdes the person who is their best blood sample collector. They are well organized and the only person since a decade who has been able to find a vein in my arm has been Lourdes. Please give her a raise, she is really a pro!

My wife and daughter did their blood testing. We did online booking and were taken in very quickly. The place is clean and not too crowded. The staff is nearly all immigrants and diverse. So it is helpful. I would recommend.

Completely unprofessional and thoughtless attitude towards my mom who is not as efficient in English as I am. I've just left from the place about 15 minutes ago and still so shocked that the lady (with wavy hair - in the left seat who took my name down) had the audacity to roll her eyes directly at a client that is trying their best to speak to her in English as it is not her first language. Hope this review gives you a heads up on what type of service you'll be running into if English is not your first language.

I went here today for the first time for blood work. To be honest, this location is the best location than the other locations. I always feel sharp pain in arm and fainting after blood work but here i did not feel any pain and fainting after blood work. Very professional and friendly staff.

Our daughter went to the Derry Rd location for COVID testing and we got the rapid test done as well. Within house a lab technician called us at home saying my daughter was positive for Covid. I didn’t realize rapid tests only find positive virus cases—any virus. You need the PCR to confirm Covid. However somehow this technician also alerted Toronto Public Health to begin a case before the PCR was ready. We alerted our school, got the rest of the family tested at a hospital, did contact tracing, freaked out about Covid, the works. All my other children and husband came back negative. Only to find out last night that my youngest was also NEGATIVE. It’s really irresponsible for lifelabs to suggest to a family a rapid test confirmed Covid when even public health states positive rapid tests need to be confirmed with a PCR.

Visited first time. V quick n professional. Special thanks to Laurond (i hope i remember right name). No pain n quickly blood work is done.

Staff was very friendly and everything was very quick if you have appointment and if not then it will take 40-45 mints (So please book your appointment before visiting)

I've been here twice now, once for myself and once with my mother, and both times with an appointment.
Still, they took 45 minutes to come to the cubicle to take the blood.
They had the requisitions and all the information they needed, but they kept blaming it on the system. Whatever ancient system they use, it takes 45 mins to check in.

Second time here and so far I've had no bad experience.
Staff is great.
Clean place.
Very efficient.

Staff was nice. But websites results, corporate policy, customer support and phone support are all lousy. Will not go back

LifeLabs staff at this location are very kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. They understand how to deal with kids and adults and individuals with special needs very well!
This location is very clean and all Covid-19 rules are followed.
Keep up the great job! We need people like to help with our healthcare. Can't thank you enough!)

This place is total mass no organization.workers ask you to get in and other will tell you no wait out side.this location is out of order.its been switched from a covid test center to a regular laboratory.
