They’re not up to the mark in keeping appointment timing, very narrow waiting room where entrance, 6 chairs for patients and always people waiting for long time. Not recommended in this location.

The worst place to do a blood test the Filipino fat lady is soo rude doesn’t know how to treat the patients and needs a training the place is soo dirty even the washrooms are soo filthy the staff laughing loud and talking to each other rather then taking care of the patients u guys need a new management and they charging the people for everything please change the receptionist asap

I recently visited this place to get Blood Work done. I was appalled at how dirty this place was. The Washroom door was wide open and I could see from the Reception area torn up paper scattered all over the floor. People were in the waiting Room. The floors were dirty and pieces of paper and other debris were visible in the waiting area as well. I mentioned the filthy condition to the Receptionist and walked out. Hire a cleaning crew this is unacceptable. I took my Service to another Life Lab and won’t recommend this Place to anyone.

Very smallwaiting space so people are crammed everywhere standing shoulder to shoulder. No separate check-in process for those who have appointments so even if you arrive on time, you still have to wait in line to check-in and are then deemed late. Staff are rude and have no clear system for who goes in what order. I arrived for my appointment on time however checked in 5 minutes late due to a line-up. Individuals who arrived after me, even one who was over an hour late for their appointment, were seen before I was and what was supposed to be a 5 minute appointment turned into a 45 minute one. What is the point of making an appointment if there is no respect for it? Parking lot is also very small so make sure to arrive extra early for that as well. Bathroom is connected to the waiting area and there is no lock on the door from the inside so it's stressful wondering if someone will open the door by accident giving full view to everyone waiting.

Honestly, I personally had a fast and painless experience. I was there for a quick walk-in blood work. Staff was friendly and got to me quick, only waited around 15 mins in the lobby after handing my health card and paper in. I would recommend this location if you're going around non-peak hours around noon, you won't be waiting long

This is the worst life lab I’ve been to in the whole city. The waiting room is tiny and crammed with people waiting. The room the do the blood work in is attached to a storage closet. The staff are rude. I’m never going there again. Extremely negative experience.

Overbooked early in the morning, don't go if you're diabetic or disabled they had 4 seats Max and 13 people crammed in a small room people were coughing and the staff at the desk was being rude to people who were waiting for 15 minutes

They show open online and also accept appointments but majority of the times they're closed when you arrive. People are asked to fast for more than 12hrs but when they arrive starving, they are closed just with a notice put outside.

This lifelabs is the worst! Should be zero stars. I have been 3 times. The first time no appointment and took a long time. Today I made an appointment at 12: 15 only to be told they are behind and at least 5 people ahead of me and some waiting for ecg. Most unreliable and unprofessional lab ever. Never going back again

Very unsanitary in the small cramped closet of a place. Your in line for hours regardless if you have an appointment or not! And they do not do anything correctly the first time. You’re always having to go back to give samples a second and third time. Last time I ever go there and would refer any of my clients/friends or family.

Only waited about 10 minutes past my appointment time. Pretty good for a LifeLabs! I also didn’t wait any time at all from when I sat down in the room to when the nurse came. Nurse was also really nice! Definitely the best LifeLabs experience I’ve had.

Don’t see the point in making an appointment if they are going to make you wait almost 30 minutes past your scheduled appointment time. Nurses walking around giggling while patients like myself who has been fasting for more than 12 hours by the time I was called my hand were cold as ice cubes and I was shaking, I had to shout at a nurse to get inside for my blood work Very Poor Service I won’t be back for sure. Too bad I could not give a rating of Minus ZERO

If I could give zero stars, that would be more apt. I booked an appointment almost a month ago for September 17th at 8: 35 am and I got there. There was a board saying it’s closed and go to other locations. Why wasn’t I intimated? Can’t they even send a courtesy email to people who booked? I had some people come and leave seeing the board too which means others weren’t intimated either. Such a simple thing to do, send a simple email. We too have jobs and don’t want to be wasting time either. Had to go to 520 ellesmere and they were kind enough to accommodate me fast.

My oncologist at Sunnybrook's Odette Cancer Centre ordered an emergency blood test for some rush cancer treatment.
I walked to this place because it's close to home and my car is in the shop.
I arrived at around 10 am and joined the line outside in the rain. After about 15 minutes a staff member walked out to ask for someone who had an appointment booked.
My situation was explained and was told no more appointments for today, no exceptions even for emergency cancer treatment.
So I walked back home
Called Life Labs 800 number and the customer service person said that for emergency situations like that, when you have the documentation to show it's an emergency, that they are supposed to fit you in at some point during the day and not just send you away.
So it seems like the person who came outside just did not care and wanted to make her job as easy as possible by basically saying "No Apoointment Go Away"
These guys are pretty sloppy. I don't trust them to draw my blood and handle my sample responsibly.
It leaves we wondering if these labs are regulated and whether there is a regulatory requirement for them to take me in.

1 hour before appointment calls to cancel.you have a booking system for a reason.during COVID its the safest option. Last year data breach, this year broken booking system.get your act together.

Unprofessional and very rude staff. No one know how manged appointments and walk in-patient. Please don't go this lifelab location don't waste time.

I don’t see a purpose in making an appointments for a certain time, and they people with no appointments before people with appointments. They more they 20 mins past your appointment before they actually see you, place and staff high unethical.

I live walking distance from here but I don't go here on my bloodworks because this location is not organized they are always behind, long line up. Lifelabs in 2562 Lawrence they said they are slow. Come in 2562 Lawrence lifelabs fast and organized. Zero star. Pandemic or previous years nothing changed

To everyone complaining about wait times and locked doors; we are in the middle of a pandemic. A little patience goes a long way.

I went today and found the staff very friendly, professional, and kind. I am absolutely terrified of needles and the woman who took my blood was fantastic. Kept me talking, kept me distracted. Needle insert didn't hurt, I don't have any bruising, there was no blood on the cotton. Lifelabs has always been nice to me, will definitely go back to this location if I need more work done, hope to deal with the same woman. She was hilarious and super fun to work with, especially considering most of us who are getting blood done are sick and already stressed.

I came here for a blood test and see what happened. Never had this issue with any other location or blood test before. They poked me twice at the same place and moved the needle while taking blood.

Bad lab. I can't believe this place is in Canada. Staff are so unethical and results of test you get after 5 days.

Staff are very unfriendly and very slow, when giving test resaults. We gave blood on Thursday but haven't received yet by Monday.

Distance in the office space as the space is small! But friendly staff and you can expect quick response back!
