I'm a fainter and forgot to indicate up front. My tech, Elizabeth, made sure to talk me through the procedure and provide some great care with her needlework. She made sure I felt comfortable until I felt ready to leave. Awesome job!

I always go to this Lifelabs location when I need bloodwork done. I went this morning and from previous experience knew they were opened at 7: 00AM and usually busy. I showed up at 6: 40AM and was 4th in-line outside the door. They let us in at 6: 50 and by 7: 10 I was on my way home. Super friendly staff. No appointment needed for most bloodwork.

I have to go regularly once a week, I've been going for a few weeks, I have stubborn veins and sometimes it's difficult getting any blood, but every nurse I've dealt with has been kind, patient and gentle.

I had no appointment on a Saturday morning very busy they were taking patients pretty quick and orderly. The nurse I had was awesome. Good experience all on all.

In a busy and understaffed world, I thought the people here were quick, polite and I had zero wait or complaints at an otherwise usually annoying type of appointment. I hate getting bloodwork done and they were very friendly. I hope to not have to come back for health reasons but if I do, I will be coming here. Great job you guys!

Super efficient, was out within 5 minutes of my appointment time. I highly recommend making an appointment because otherwise you’ll have to wait in-line. The staff is super kind and checked up on me after the test to make sure I wasn’t dizzy.

I made a 9 AM appointment for bloodwork and I was told I have to wait an hour and a half it didn’t matter whether I had an appointment or not. It was standing room only my wife suggested LifeLabs on Mountain Road. I only had three people ahead of me. It was an amazing experience. There a Parkdale you disappoint me.

Don't bother booking an appointment was 15 mins early waited in line the whole time in, appointment was at 250, finally checked in late.then continued to wait an additional 30 minutes in waiting room, just to wait in a cubicle for another 15. They Made me feel like it was my fault, when clearly they didn't have the Staff to check in patients.

So I guess my point is booking an appointment at this place is the same as a walk in!
Glad I made an appointment when I could have walked in and been here the same time.and get the same rude attitude.

I'd give zero stars if I could. I won't be back to this life lab's. Unorganized and rude staff. I'll go else where.

Rude staff from the front desk to the phlebotomist taking the blood. They treat you like a number with their one-word instructions. There's a survey to fill out if you scan the bar code on the wall but it won't let you fill out the form. The phlebotomist beside my cubicle made the senior lady feel like an inmate with her attitude and superiority complex. If management cared to fix these problems, they would read these reviews.

The Lab technician are absolutely rude. They talk about every one waiting. Complaining about all patients. Do not come. These are sick people you should be ashamed of yourself.

Staff are rude. The service was fast and efficient as I had booked an appt. But I left feeling pretty uncomfortable because I used the staff bathroom on accident. I was queasy from getting a lot of blood taken and thought she told me the bathroom was to the right. As I came out another lady said to me "thats the staff bathroom". I apologized and said it was an honest mistake. She gave me a dirty look and went into the bathroom to clean it. Staff need to learn how to treat people.

They managed to lose the first requisition that was faxed to them. The woman on the desk this morning when I came back for another appointment has the people skills of a Transylvanian body snatcher. Just another reminder that today is Halloween.
Then the nurse who took my blood asked if I wanted the results sent to me. I didn’t hear her properly and asked her to repeat. She asked if I had a computer at home. I said that I did. Then in a piece de resistance of patronization she asked if I used it. I resisted the urge to tell her I could probably give her a lesson on its operating system. I just wanted to get out as quickly as possible.

I visited this location for simple lab work yesterday and brought along my 3 month old son. Not ideal, but I had scheduled an appointment I thought would work with his current sleeping and eating routine so as to avoid any meltdowns while we were out. This location is very busy, but there is ample parking in the back. Yesterday they were so busy that the waiting room was at capacity and folks had to wait in the hall as overflow. So naturally my baby pooped himself in a busy cramped waiting room five minutes before my appointment.

The absolute angels who staff this location made sure I did not miss my appointment and set my son and I up in an unused ECG room, as neither of the bathrooms here have change tables (there is plenty of room in both bathrooms if the owners ever wanted to consider installing at least one change table). I am so appreciative of the staff's kindness even while they're being absolutely run off their feet. Lastly, want to mention I've had what feels like a thousand blood draws in the last year, and the tech who did my blood work here was absolutely the gentlest and most precise of them all. I have deep veins and am used to techs digging around to get the vein or having to try both arms. Not so yesterday, she was great. I literally barely felt a thing. My sincere thanks to the staff here.

I get regular blood tests so I like to review these labs, everyone here was great. They were so so busy today and understaffed, they made sure to tell people this so they were informed. Appointments were slightly behind (15 minutes barely an inconvenience) and they rushed really hard to get them all in and caught up. The lovely lady who was running the front desk was a total champion she was signing people in, checking on them, calling doctors for recs, AND running blood tests and taking blood. She was awesome, and super nice with me. Thanks everyone for your hard work, we appreciate it:)

This location needs to get their act together. Covid has slowed down meaning everyone has to work a full day, not just close up shop whenever you feel like it. Everyday this week I show up well before the posted closing time and everyday they’re putting a sign in the door stating they’re short staffed. Medix college is pumping out lab techs at light speed. Hire someone!

I went their for a blood test and I understand the limit of capacity and I was waiting on a line inside, and there was a lady she was being too rude and told everyone to wait outside which is okay that she told but she could have said very nicely rather than being rude.

Usually not a long wait! I mean, just check on the website beforehand. Lovely workers that make you feel comfortable and very welcoming when you walk in. Always a pleasant experience here

Quickest lab experience ever! I went in without an appointment and waited maybe 3 mins before I was assigned a room to have my blood taken. Normally I have issues where the technician cannot find a vein. The technician I got found a vein immediately and was done in under 2 mins. My husband hadn’t even made it home after dropping me off and my blood work experience was over so he just turned around again to pick me up. Highly recommend. And this wasn’t early in the morning, this was during my lunch hour.

I've been to 2 other locations before coming here. Elsewhere, staff tried but couldn't get my baby's blood. I went to this place today. The lady is very professional, friendly and gentle. My 6 month old baby doesn't cry at all.

This medical laboratory facility is well organized and smoothly run. The wait times are reasonable but you can even book an appointment online if you prefer. I have been there several times and each time the staff at the front were friendly, welcoming and professional. The technical staff were also very professional and knowledgeable. I had no issues with their collection of samples. The facility itself was clean and there were precautions in place to keep clients safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. I recommend this medical laboratory facility.

In recent months I went to this LifeLabs location twice about an hour before they closed. I had checked hours of opening on website before driving to the location. I was surprised to find the lab closed. This happened twice. The excuse given was that some staff had not turned up. Several customers also came and were visibly frustrated at finding the lab closed that early. The website should have been updated to indicate the early closing times.
I looked for another lab in the area the next day and got amazing service.
I am therefore lowering my rating from the previous 5 to 1 (As of January 2022).

My doctor asked me to get some blood taken for some tests, i am 31yrs old and i would consider myself very knowledgeable with computers and technology. I can honestly say that this website is very hard to navigate and find what i am looking for. It is very hard to book a time frame on this website for many reasons. Most people work during the day and during the week, and 90% of these offices r closed on weekends or offer very short time frames to be open. With the time frames this company provides, the only appointment day that works for me is saturday, but to book an appointment for saturday, the first available time is over 1 month away? !? !? THE PROCESS TAKES 10MIN! Last time i got my blood taken, it took maybe 10min tops, so i find really hard to understand why its so hard to book an appointment for something so simple. Would be crazy for me to take a whole day off work for a 10min process!

That 1 877 phone number line is the worst service i've had to deal with in a long time.i called the first time, wasted 25min for the machine to say "we are experiencing high call volume and we are to end the call" and it just hung up. This happened again for a 2nd time and im just really not wanting to call again because i don't have high hopes i will be able to even speak with anyone.

I guess my only option to have my blood taken is to wait over 1 month for something that would only take about 10min to do.

THIS IS TERRIBLE SERVICE!

Minus 2 stars because Closing hour is 11 am on Saturday which is really not ideal considering I work 8-5 during the week like many people. They took me as the last patient and I arrived at 9: 50 AM and I had to hold a “last patient” sign and turn people away who arrived thereafter while waiting outside in the cold. If this were my business I’d take the last patient at 11 AM so my business hours aren’t misleading. Otherwise a clean place and friendly staff.

Terrible experience. You'll be waiting outside if you don't have an appointment. Even those with appointments were queued inside. Such a slow service.

Long wait times. The lab missed testing my blood for several important markers even though it was clearly indicated on the requisition, which forced me to go back a second time. When I went back on a Saturday, this location was closed even though the website CLEARLY said open. Frustrating and waste of my time.

I stood in line for 90 minutes and they wouldn't honour my requisition because the doctor's address did not match their system. My doctor has 3 clinics.they had the req in their system, my ID, etc. But nope. Two hours of my life I'll never get back. Switching back to Dynacare.

Don't be fooled by online wait times for walk-in. You need to wait 1.5h outside the building before you go inside and THEN the wait time clock listed online starts.

Good. I made an appointment and was taken in immediately upon arrival. Clean premises, nice reception staff. Person taking blood was not overly cordial.

Rude staff from the front desk to the nurses taking the blood. They treat you like a number with their one word instructions. They get argumentative and even aggressive when I pointed out the mistake they made. Not very people friendly. Is anyone else seeing a pattern here when multiple people have the same complaints? Does Life Lab management bother to check these reviews?

I’m absolutely horrible with blood and needles. I usually get dizzy and/or faint. Today after my blood work, these ladies were amazing. So friendly and caring. They laid me down and checked up on me. Great place and environment.

The ladies are really friendly. They know how to do their jobs. I've been scared of needles my whole life and they relax me and take a sample painlessly. Good job
