Would never come here again. The lady taking my paperwork was so rude. Told me my blood work wasn't urgent and I should come back after Christmas. Who are you to tell someone that their bloodwork is not important?
They under report their wait times because their intake line/process takes so long, add another 30-40 minutes. Their lab is chaotic! My mother was left in a cubicle with her paperwork sitting on the table for almost 30 minutes because the nurse forgot about her. If she didn’t come get me in the waiting room to speak to the front desk we would still be there. The nurse only took 5 minutes, but FFS! Would give a zero if I could. Unfortunately, one of the tests can only be done in this lab.
After the first blood test failure with family doctor’s, I made an appointment here in Lifelabs. The nurse is highly skilled and effective, and kind attitude. Pleasant experience.
Booked an appointment for 11: 30 am on a Monday and waited about 20 minutes before I was called. The clinic seemed busy (overheard that walk-ins had to wait 40 minutes) but there was lots of seating available. The clinic is in the basement which you can get to by stairs (I believe there is also an elevator available).
Was very nervous because it was my first time getting a blood test done but the nurse was very fast and professional and the process was relatively painless (took less than 3 minutes total).
Went there for a walk in at 7am, and had to wait only about 20 minutes before having my name called. Contrary to many other experiences I had, the staff was very friendly. The facility was clean and had plenty of sitting available in the waiting area.
Horrible experience. The gauge of needle used was too large and they left significant bruising covering a wide area. Have never experienced bruising from a blood draw. Poorly trained technician.
This place is Clean, spacious, efficient. They did a blood draw on my 5 yr old. So efficient, quick and no crying. Nurses really know what they are doing!
I arrived at 8: 09am on a Wednesday morning for a walk in. There was no line. After giving the receptionist for blood work my requisition, she directed me to room 3 (no wait time!). 5-6 minutes later, a technician named Mirekas (sp?) came in to take my blood. She finished in less than 2 minutes for 4 vials of blood. She was extremely efficient and obviously experienced. She was also pleasant and wished me a nice rest of my day. I left at 8: 18am, so I was there for a total of just 10 minutes. Highly recommend.
Had an appointment for 8: 40am on a Thursday. I arrived at 8: 37 and was back in my car at 8: 46. The waiting room was full and the walk in wait time was ~40 min. An appointment is highly recommended.
I went to this place twice this month for blood work and I was impressed by a lab technician called zinah mako she is professional and very clean and very experienced she took my blood work and I didn't feel the needle and I wasn't sore at all after she finished she's best of the best thank you zinah
Went on a Friday morning around 10: 30 with no appointment for blood work. No one in line. I was greeted and processed, then told to take a seat. By the time I put my earphones in and opened my magazine, I was called to the cubicle. By the time I sat down, staff came by to draw blood and was very polite. The lack of waiting was uncommon but I've always found everyone to be extremely friendly and professional. I'm surprised to see reviews of the opposite.
I'm not sure what all the negative reviews for this location are about but I've been here multiple times and never had a bad experience, the staff are normal I don't find them unfriendly or rude they have a job to do and they get it done.
Staff friendly enough and fast however very dairty. They do not wipe down the sit or arm rest and cotton balls, lids of Needles on the floor. Bathroom gross and paper towels covered in dust
I have been trying many times to contact LifeLabs and spent a lot of my time waiting on the phone that nobody answered. This is a repeated pattern. Please respond.
Lovely staff at the front counter. Very clean and well organized. Best part is, they have beds for those of us who don’t do well with needles. My nurse was super sweet and caring.
Staff here are always so rude. I’ve probably only ever had 1 good encounter with one of the ladies who took my blood, other than that they all have nasty attitudes and are disrespectful.
Very bad experience The staff is unfriendly you smile and greet them, they don’t even answer you, they are so rude too Besides I had my blood test last week and I kept pressing the cotton but I had a internal bleeding the area is so purple now! The attitude needs to be improved a lot. The management needs to talk to the employees and teach them how to deal with patients little kindness could help!
Worst experience ever! Staff are so rude they don't communicate things to you in a civil manner. I went there yesterday without an appointment a staff told me to come back today because they take walk- ins between 7-8 am and that they were booked the whole week and I shouldn't take long. I went there this morning 7: 10 the woman was so unpleasant asked me questions nasty and told me to get a seat without telling me that I should wait for 2 hrs. I am diabetic I was fasting for the blood work and I sit there for an hour and 20 minutes only to find out my appointment was at 9: 25. I almost fainted because I usually take breakfast at 6: 30 am cause of my diabetes I need to have a schedule to eat. Not very happy with their treatment. I left without doing my test waited 1.5 hours for Nothing! Let alone Covid-19 protocol people came and left they do not sanitize seats, unbelievable!
No complaints. You cannot get a blood test without an appointment. Book online with Life Labs. About a 5-10 minute wait after you check in. People who are complaining about poor service, please remember that the staff is doing their best with what resources they have. They are extremely overworked and understaffed. Please give them the recognition and patience they deserve. We owe it to our front line workers.
I’ll never go back to this location again. They over booked people and continued to book walk-in’s for times 20-30 mins after walking in, which leads to a lot of people being in there at once. I heard 2 other people say their appointment was at the same time as mine. No temperature checks, just a few questions that anyone can lie about. Very cold and harsh treatment with no compassion at all, except for maybe one or two ladies working the front desk that seemed a little friendly.
Only up side is that you’re in and out quick, only if you made an appointment though and if there’s not a lot of people ahead of you.
The worst that I've been in, they ask you do you have any vivid symptoms and if you say no, without temperature screening, you're in. A guy sneezed and coughed at least 20 times within 5mins and I asked them aren't those Covid symptoms? She said: we asked Covid questions, so he is fine. Never ever will go there.
Use the online booking application to reserve an appointment. For the most part, my wait time has been less than 3 minutes.basically, walk straight in.
So horrible. Booked an appointment and took time out by scheduling my day accordingly and when I get there it's closed. "due to internet problems". No call, no email just a sign on the door? Seriously? So unprofessional. People take time out of work and not even an email for appointments booked to let them know.
I was surprised by how professional, friendly, and quick the staff at this branch. I went as a walk-in and from the number of people I saw ahead of me, I thought I’ll wait for more than an hour. But they called me in in about 10 minutes. They were very busy, lots of people but was very organized and the waiting time is nothing. This branch definitely will be my go to branch for any blood work!
Very fast process and timely by appointment. I highly recommend you book your appointment in advance online. I was seen exactly at my appointment time despite there being a 45 min queue for walk ins. The nurse was friendly and skilled. Social distancing enforced with plenty of hand sanitizer for use to keep safe. Thank you for your services.
Free parking and lots of spaces.
I recommend this location. Please be kind to them. They are doing their job and doing their best.
Today Feb 15, I have gone for blood test in fasting. There were almost more than 20 people waiting in line. I realized after 8 am that the lab is closed. There was no information abouhe lab closure on the kind
Booked a 9 am appointment and went right in when I arrived a bit early. To my surprise there were only 2 people in the waiting room. Another man who arrived with no appointment was amazed to be seen immediately. Clean and tidy. Very efficient and friendly-both the young woman who checked me in and the nurse who took my blood. She did say it’s usually quite busy, especially since this location opens extra early (6: 45). Will definitely try this location again.
I have been to this lifelabs many times over the course of 1.5 years. Unfortunately the majority of my experiences have been lackluster. The students working at this lab are extremely incompetent and rude when you ask for a different lab tech to draw your blood. Today I came to this location and had 2 students who worked today try to draw my blood. It took each student 3 pokes each and still no blood came out. I was poked a total of 6 times. They pass me on to a different lab tech who poked me once but collapsed my vein. I ended up getting a bruise on my arm the size of my hand and huge bump. I pressed all the pokes they did and rested in the waiting area before leaving 10 minutes after. Never get the student with glasses or the one with long hair and fake lashes. They worked April 12 at 11: 30am. Forget retraining, this job is not for them.
