Waiting time is super long. They never pick up the phone or call you back. Terrible service

Been here for many blood tests over the last year and the service was always slow. Today I went in without an appointment at around 2: 45 (my mistake I guess), and waited 40 minutes before being seen. It wasn’t very busy but there was only one nurse working. It took another 15 minutes to get my blood drawn because she had to use 3 different needles to try 3 different veins before finally finding one that worked. My veins are normally hard to find and stab, but I don’t think I’ll be going back here

I made the extra drive as the Markham Lifelabs was ridiculous. I arrived here without an appointment. 2 people were ahead of me but my wait was less than 15 minutes. The staff were polite and efficient. The office was very clean and organized.

I was denied a walk in visit and they were in fact open, was lied to, "we have no staff". Avoid this one, go to highway 7.

Nothing worse than someone’s knocking on the washroom door when you’re trying to pee in a cup for your lab test. The front desk admin did knock on the door and demanded that I come out right that second simply because I was in employee washroom by mistake. And when I came out she was extremely rude and accused me of going in there knowingly that I shouldn’t, even though I apologized for not seeing the sign because the door was wide open.
First time here and will be my last.
They really need to change the front door admin.

Unorganized and unprofessional. Staff here are like gig workers. No one knows what's going on and no one takes responsibility.

First time here and will be my last time. There are only 5 people before me, but the wait time starts from 30 mins and slowly increasing to 60 mins.and not to mention the attitude of the staff here. I used to go to the one at north york. Totally different experience.

Always great with my bloodwork and I find them very professional it would be 5 stars if they still had 'save my spot'.

I walked in this location on Saturday around 9: 15am. No appointment. There were 4 people in head of me. I didn't wait too long, just less than15 mins, and I finished the blood test. I was scared about 1 star review before I go, but so far is good.

The admin here is a joke. Went in May 28. She couldn’t even answer a simple question or verify the correct test before hand. She’s useless and very rude. Unwilling to help and has an attitude she’s above the customers. Tells me over the phone I don’t need an appointment and when I show up it’s a 90 minute wait. Never coming back here again.

So far so good, at least not one star as other reviewers complained. I just walked-in today, around 11: 45AM. I think this may be the best time to visit. It could be more busy in the early morning 'cause everyone trying to do their blood test earlier without eating anything overnight. And another peak hour may be lunch time. I saw more people in line after 12PM. Anyway, I waited and have my test done within half hour, which is acceptable and expected as walked-in. The reception is polite and organized. There is a screen showing who is in line and the estimated wait time, it looks clear. Waiting area is not that big though, so if the line is longer than 10 you may need to wait outside. There is only one lady doing blood work, kind of slow but she is competent and professional.

I walked in for a blood test and the wait was about 5 minutes. The staff was friendly and they got me in and out without a problem.

They are the slowest clinic I’ve ever been to. The people working are rude. They sit talk and go on breaks. I waiting over an hour and there were 5 people in the waiting room.

Wouldn’t even give this place a one star. What rude ignorant people that work here. Life labs get your act together and fire these people! How people were treated was not acceptable in any way. You need to read these reviews and take action!

Unfortunately, the level of communication of the lifelabs admin is very poor. When they say there is a walk- in, they don't specify that customer has to arrive really early or there is an expectation that they might not be admitted. When this communication is not clearly mentioned to the customer, when they arrive and they are told "Sorry we can't take you in. No more walk in", it frustrates any human being because we have different expectations that are communicated to us when we call. Then, poor staff have to deal with the frustrated customers. I think this should be changed for improvement. Be honest, clear and transparent with the customers! If you accept walk in, be clear till what time, when does it close? Instead of wasting people's time and money (with the high cost of gas)

I was just at the clinic at 10: 50 am now for bloodwork only but one of the staff at reception refused to accept me without an appointment informing me that walk ins were not allowed after 10 am on a Saturday and to come back on a weekday. Their website clearly says walk-in are allowed, no special Saturday walk-in rules mentioned, or I would’ve picked another LifeLabs franchise to go to and not waste time driving to this one. There was only one patient in the waiting area. Clearly they don’t need the business. In hindsight I should’ve read the one star reviews to this franchise before trekking to this location.

This isn’t listed on website but be advised! Save yourself the drive/time. Staff seems truly unhappy to be working there.

My visit to the lab was very pleasurable
The lab technician was knowledgable patient and kind to me
It was the first time I had blood work performed and did not feel the needle go into my arm

Made an appointment online, only waited about 5 minutes in the waiting room to be seen for my test. The nurses are a little bit gruff, but they know what they're doing and keep things moving along really well. Don't go in without an appointment expecting to be seen, this is the only blood lab in the area and as a result, is always decently busy.
Only giving it 4 stars though because I wasn't given a test number to access my results online, and when I tried to check my results on their website, I was told that I'd have to wait on the phone for up to an hour to find my test number in their system.

Customer service is terrible. The lady in the front desk is extremly rude to everyone. She doenst answer questions, just looks at you and holds the eye contact and let you ask many times the same question without answering until you give up. I took my father in law and we waited foe 50 mins. Although he had an appojnment nobody called his name. We had to leave because he just had a surgery and cant stand for long. The lack of kindness and compassion is dishertaning for a place that deal with seniors and pepople that has concerns for their health. Please find another place for your test. No bother with this non sense.

I have been shocked by the unhelpful and rude staff, once again. I will not return to this clinic.

If there was a way to rate this lab NO stars, I would.

I had an appointment today to get blood work done. Receptionist was rude right off the bat. I accidentally printed my blood work and ultrasound requisition on one page, double-sided and brought that with me today. I had asked her to just photocopy the blood test side for them and hand me back my double-sided copy. She told me, "We don't photocopy here" (after she just photocopied my paperwork.) She proceeded to argue, told me to leave and find a proper printer and come back with a new appointment and proper paper work. So uncalled for, rude, and very unprofessional.

After what seemed like 5min went by, the nurse called me in, I told her I wanted my copy back as I don't want them having my ultrasound information. The nurse proceeded to argue with me as well, even though I tried to explain in the simplest way possible, the error of it being double-sided and how to resolve it. She also didn't understand because it seemed like I was speaking gibberish. She went over to the Receptionist and they started bad-talking about me very loudly as I'm waiting in the room. When she came back I grabbed the paper from her, then she grabbed it back, tug of war. I began to put my jacket on saying how I've never been so humiliated and treated so poorly in my life, going to go to another clinic. I couldn't comprehend what was happening and that a lab like this exists in such a beautiful town of Stouffville! She finally gave me my copy back, photocopied the blood work page so I wouldn't leave, and responded with "We didn't know what you meant".

Change Nurses, Receptionists, overall Management at this location immediately or shut this place down. So uncalled for to treat a patient like this. I'm not even suprised of their ratings because today confirmed why it's so low.

Overall: Do not go here - find a better lab.

Need to drop off test sample at this location.when i was there, they were closed. People were waiting outside. Finally a female came out and said there was a notice on the door saying they were closed between 12-2 pm. How could we know you are close during these hours? There is no info updated on their web site.
Actually, i tried to call their number before i went. The VM asked to call later. Tried many many times but still no one picked up the phone nor able to leave VM.
They did not accept my drop off.asked me to go back again. I did not have a car and made a special arrangement with neighbour.and the sample must be delivered on that day!
Finally, i got another ride and be able to drop off the sample. However, the reception was cold.they ignored you when you stood in front of them. They had their own conversation without any signals. If it's not COVID, I will not go to this location.

Appointment booking, which is done online, i was able to make an appointment in the morning of the day i visit. No complaint.

Sign in, the reception is not the nicest person of course, but he knows his works, able to provide quick solution to patent. I arrived 5 Mins before my appointment time (with 5 others people waiting) and i was served right on time.

Lastly, the actual lab work, thw technician is one of the most skillful techs i have even had.

Went to get bloodwork done today. There were 3 people in front of me. The 2 staff at the desk were speaking and laughing in their own language at the desk. Not only is this incredibly rude, but it made me uncomfortable wondering who they were speaking about. When I was called to go sit in a room, I told the gal at the desk that my req was for 6 months. She said I will make you a copy and you can bring it back on 6 months. I said no, it says when needed for 6 months, she said so you need a card, but made no effort to make up a card for me. I sat in the room and when the tech came in I said I had just gotten out of hospital, so I had bruises on my arms. She kept saying she was scared and frightened to take my blood because of the bruises. It did not build my confidence in her with her telling me this. When she finished doing my blood she said oh I have to go make you a card. After 40 minutes I left the lab. I did not feel well when I went there, but they don't seem to care about any patients that come in, they are slow and not very personable.
It makes your wonder with the negative reviews, why are the same staff still there? Why does no one look into the poor reviews, does head office not care about this lab location.
I will not go back.

Went this morning for a cyto urine kit, came home to find they had given me a sputum kit instead.this after the woman at the counter asked me 3 times if it was a urine test.wasted trip. I find the staff unfriendly, the reception area overflowing. Stouffville needs better than this.

Staff need training. They don't know how to draw blood. Two of my relatives went there and they were bleeding profusely after their blood was taken.

Stay away if at all possible. Long waiting times. Staff are very unhappy. If you dont like your job.quit!
