It was done by Rowshanand was so painful during and after for hours! I asked her what she has done! She gave me an ice pack to prevent bruising!

Being the Thanksgiving weekend, majority of the labs are closed. Google tells me to head to the one at 1100 Sheppard. Parking wasn't that's difficult at 9.20am.
I was to the lab as soon as a I open the door, it's absolutely packed. Apparently everyone got the same suggestion to come here.
The staff are the POLITEST I've ever come across.
The were absolutely patient with each and every client that has walked in the door. It's 11.31 and I'm still here with my number being called in another half an hour. But it's absolutely worth it.
A big thanks to each and every one on the team here. You guys are awesome!

Extremely disorganized. The nurses are tying their best but is just a matter of proper division work, automation, and attitude of service. They all are rotating trying to do all at once and this clearly doesn’t work. Try to avoid this location if possible.

Avoid this location for walk in during the morning. Staff here discourages walk in, mumbles under their breath "why don't you make an appointment" and says waiting is over an hour. I waited 2 hours 15 minutes

My daughter and I went in without an appointment to get our blood tests done. The lady who checked us in was friendly her name was Emily. We both were seen within 20 minutes by a very sweet and friendly lady her name was Forouz she was so gentle and honestly we couldn't be happier that we chose this location. Dynacare always causes pain and bruising for us both by poking non stop.
Thank you so much Forouz you made it easy for us and were very compassionate towards our fear and sensitivity towards needles.

Such a ridiculous service. Booked appointment online, rushed through traffic, and when reached there, they said it's closed early. What a waste of time! Atleast inform or cancel the appointment in advance. Don't make people come here and then they on their own!

DO NOT GO THERE!
I never do reviews but they lady that took my blood was SUPER RUDE, I was not expecting an urine sample as my Dr did not mentioned it so I used the washroom earlier (I told her oh I did not that I need it, she said well you know it know and you have to get it now), she was making comments about my veins as you can barely find them and I told her that she need to use a butterfly because I Bruce super easily and I know my veins are hard to find (I am a healthcare worker as well and I think they way that they are treating people is unacceptable) as well I BOOKED an appointment I even arrived earlier (NOBODY WAS AT THE FRONT DESK) and I had my blood taken 25 mnts later that my scheduled time appointment. I would like to add that I’m very sick and going there after a long day and getting treat like that is horrible! I believe that is the same lady that someone mentions below, she wear glasses and brown/ grey hair.

Very slow, disorganized service! Had to wait 20-25mins just to show the front desk my requisition paper.only to be told the wait time have my blood taken will be another 50mins! That is beyond ridiculous. I am a nurse myself, and do not understand why it takes them so long. These employees working here would not survive working in the hospital. I'm disgusted reading some of the other reviews as well.how is that Arab/Persian lady with the glasses working there? It very clear that she is consistently very unprofessional and rude to customers on a regular basis.

The wait time online is a big lie. Don’t trust it. You will wait forever here. I came to wait 100 minutes before my appointment, they put me in waiting and I got in almost at my appointment

Extremely positive experience from beginning to end. Staff are friendly and the place is well-maintained. Nati, our nurse, took a great care of our son and made it a painless process for all. Highly recommend this location!

The worst place ever for a blood works, not professional at all, the Philippine lady poked me many times and she was not able to do a very simple blood test, and a very large bruise on my hand, she told me she'll send someone else shortly and I had to wait 45 minutes in that room till I found out that she totally forgot about me! Thanks God that the Persian lady was very polite and after she heard about what happened she came apologized right away and did the test very easily and quickly.

I have bilateral knee injury, staff are rude, lazy and lied that they have 20 people inside which you can see there is only 5 people waiting.

I have been visiting this location for my test since 2013. My overall experience is good. It has free parking but I will not suggest to go there on Saturday morning and early afternoon since parking is a big concern on Sat. It has restaurants and other medical offices in the same location. Suggest to make an appointment. Their way to handle walk-in and people w appt is pretty good. If they can renovate their washroom, it will be even better. Recently they have shortage of staff. So just need to be patient.:)

Based on past reviews I was expecting to wait quite a bit. But I made an appointment and got there a few minute in advance, and they were ready for me before my scheduled time. They were quick, efficient and very professional. Definitely would come back for future requisitions.

Had my appointment at 7: 50AM arrived a bit early. No waiting outside. Was in and out by 8AM. Anna Maria's friendly service and conversation helped me to relax and go through the proceedure with much ease. Thanks Anna Maria.

These guys were awesome, less than 10 minute wait walking in near the end of day Saturday, and one of the best, barely noticeable blood draws I’ve ever had.

I totally recommend Ms. Foruz (not sure about the spelling) she is GREAT!
I have bad veins but she is so skilled and never bruised my arm.

Opened the door when my s.o did blood work when she was fully naked and other patients and staff were walking past the door. Extremely unprofessional.

Staff at this location was completely unprofessional. My daughter needed to have blood drawn, she told the so called technician to take it from the top of her hand and the woman refused. End result they, by this time there was now 2 women trying, bruised both her arms and still didn't get enough blood. Needless to say my daughter was upset. Instead of being humans they mocked her and proceeded to speak Filipino to each other and laugh. Unprofessional and rude with a lack of training. They should be fired! I can only hope that if they ever need to have blood drawn that they encounter someone as unprofessional and rude as they were. Shame on the so called health care professionals at this location!

Probably worst experience ever, awful communication, very rude and unproffesional behaviour at the front door, no clear policies and procedures in place as per communication, very bad customer service. Unreasonably long waiting lines.

Rude and unsympathetic lady in front! Said to go away if you do not have appointment and that it is not her problem that all is booked for next couple of weeks, so for us it is impossible to do tests in a timely manner. Said that it is our problem to find place and book appointment. I would expect better attitude

It was very disappointing. Disorganized and bad attitude of staff made me angry. Instead of explains and guidance they just shout on sicks that why you didn’t declare your insurance type. Come in it is your responsible to clear everything for your sick. I am so sad and surely never see them again.

I am beyond happy with my experience at this lifelabs.
Very polite, punctual and professional staff. I had a blood test with no Bruises. This location would be my first choice from now on. It is also open on Saturday which is another great option.
I booked my appointment for 9: 20 am and I was done by 9: 45 am.

I don't know why there are so many 1 star reviews, been going there for the past 10 years, probably got blood work a dozen times, yes it is a busy location and if you don't book an appointment, expect to wait a long time during peak hours. Would you prefer they refuse to serve you because the wait time is too long? There are only so many physical booths to take peoples blood. I've never had any issues or negative experiences at this location. Book an appointment, don't do a walk in, problem solved.

I was a little anxious cause of recent bad reviews for this place. We had appointment at 12: 50 for blood test: we were there at 12: 45 and our job was done at 1: 15 and we left the lab at 1: 20. Very kind, professional and organized staff. Being afraid of needles and blood test, I must say I felt the needle as much as one feels a mosquito bite. If it was possible I would give this place 6 stars.

Extremely disorganized. They were over capacity for the number of people they were allowed in and when I went in to ask she told me to stand on the left. WHERE IS THE LEFT? I SPECIFICALLY asked her and she vaguely pointed. Then I watched her take 4 walk-ins before I asked her again and she then told me to stand by the door again and she would come get me. My appointment was for 8: 30, I wasn't seen until 9. Not impressed. However, I have to commend them for working through this stressful time. It would just be nice if they would print out a sign to indicate where appointments are supposed to wait.

Unprofessional

Visited Lifelabs on August 11th, confirmed nothing further was required prior to me leaving.

Reaching home and trying to get my test results they are requesting a Lab visit number "mentioned to be provided by the branch" and was never received.

Between the customer care number that informs me they are always having a high volume of calls and just ended the call (several times) and between the online forms that are never responded and the IT support they keep you on hold for over 30 mins I still cant get a lab visit number and I cant check my test results.

Definitely not a go to again.

Took my son to the lab today to get his blood test In the morning but they didn’t know they had to use kids needle. They hurt my son and then tried kids needle in another arm.
Now my both side of my son’s arm are bruised. Who gave them degree to work?

Parking is always a nightmare in this location. Other than that it’s good. Lots of services and you can book your tests online.

We scheduled a blood work for our newborn. The staff were not experienced enough and we ended up going to SickKids hospital for the blood test.

I visited this lab before long weekend as other nearby labs were closed. Parking was bad, crowded, 2 hours wait time. But staff were excellent in managing the crowd and answered all questions.

I would never come back to this LifeLabs location!

I had some blood work done on Nov 15th and just look at the picture of my arm after the blood work was completed! I have never bruised from blood work before in my life!

Be careful if you are getting your blood work done at this location especially if it's done by a person named Bisma. When she was about to pull the needle out of my vein, it felt like my arm was cut by a knife and I felt an excruciating pain. She pushed the needle in before pulling out. I was in so much pain so that I had to see my family doctor. My doctor’s opinion was that the person who did the blood work didn’t know what she was doing since she cut the vein so badly and the LifeLabs management needs to take an action about this incident.

I will definitely report this incident to head office since it's not being taken seriously by the location’s management. Even after I went to the location and explained the situation to them, nothing has happened since then and no follow up calls have been made.

Sometimes crowded but I always book appointments and they are always on time so no waiting.

The technicians are good at all their jobs.

The only problem is parking. There's just not enough.

Very slow, unprofessional, very unorganized and inaccurate time predictability, waited 70minutes instead of 20minutes. Both me and my partner have bruised arms from the blood work needle.

I get in at 09.45 and make it to the desk at 10.03 (meanwhile two people left because they could not take the wait).
I mention I have a 10.00 appointment. 2-3 people are called to the cubicles. I am still waiting.
10.08 I get sent to the cubicle.
10.15 I want to leave, but am patient and decide to wait 5 additional minutes.
10.20 I leave. The nurse goes to my cubicle and finds it empty.
I get my docs back and tell them I am lodging a complaint.
No one apologized. No one told me that if I were to give them 1-2 more minutes, I would be done.
Unfortunately the system doesn't let me give 0 star

Worst lifelabs that I have been. They don't follow order it doesn't matter if you arrive first or last they will input details into system whenever they can and in any order (I'm not counting customers that had appointments) the wait time screen doesn't work and it shows incorrect information. I had to wait for 50 min and left because they told me another 40 min to go. All of the customers had the same service.

I’ve been in this lab for several times and every time I had to wait more than an hour.
They have a shortage of stuff, only 1 Thecnican for the early morning. They do over booking online and accept walking clients then face to huge clients when there is no enough staff.
One time I had a vitamin D test in this location and there was no vitamin D result in dr’s report. As you know you should pay for this test around $20.
I had to back to the lab and followed up by myself. Finally couldn’t get my vitamin D results.
Totally, I don’t recommend this lab. Seems they are not organized.

They shouldn't use wait time screen, if they are not capable of managing times. I understand lots of people are waiting, but we had to wait 30 min, while the screen said 5 min. Horrible experience for one who was experiencing hard time breathing, and there were barely enough air conditioning in uncomfortable chair for more than an hour.

Went in today without an appointment. They open at 7: 30 and I was there at around 7: 45. Already 13 people in front of me. So yes, it is a very busy place. But they were very nice and orderly and quick, and after about 40 minutes of wait time, I went in and got it done quickly.
If you have time, make sure to get an appointment a couple weeks before. But if you don't have one, go early in the morning and you'll be done in the hour.

Horrible place, staff always busy doing unrelated things, I am a sick person they kept me standing for a long time behind the counter while I was not feeling well, they just ignore the person standing to receive service. Hope they train the staff for being polite, caring and responsible.

The laboratory I usually go to had a technical issue on the day of my GP's requisition and could not service me. I had to try this one and had a very good experience.

The wait is not so bad. From my past experiences, wait times for all medical services are not something people tend to praise about.

The technicians are very skilled. I was always told that I have thin veins and that blood collection is normally a bit painful. The worst former experience was when the other tech had to put the needle in my arm first and then poking around inside my arm to look for the veins.

DID NOT have any pain during the three visits at this lab. I also bruise easily after blood collection (or so I thought). Bruising following the visits at this lab was very minor.

The hours are also good. They open at 7: 30 am on a weekday and I can have the test done within 40 minutes to an hour if I arrive shortly before 7: 30 am, leaving me enough time to go to work right after.

Terrible customer service everrrrrr! You can not ask for more worse and terrible lab than this one here! They are always late and waste patients time. RUDE too. I was so sorry for myself that I had to stay
