Wish i could give it 0 stars. The waiting times are horrible. They dont even stick to the appointment time. Dont recommend going to this location unless you want to waste your life in the waiting room.

Wait times for walk-ins are not bad at all, 30mins at most for the times I’ve been there. Front desk staff are efficiently and to the point.
My one major complaint is that there is one particular phlebotomist who is very curt, rude, impatient and rough, and does not explain anything. This is the nearest lifelabs location to me and every time I visit, it gives me anxiety because I hope that I get literally anyone else attending to me

It was easy and quick to schedule an appointment. The staff was friendly and the person who drew the blood was gentle. Thanks to all the staff and keep up the good work.

Good clean lab. Was running 10 mins behind. Service slightly slow. Hours are 7 am - 3 pm. Just know that it’s located on the 4th floor now.

Great experience overall. Got in at around 7: 50 am and had my blood drawn and was out by 8: 10 am. I didn’t have an appointment either! The blood draw was very quick and painless.

Very disrespect staff! Don’t even bother to update their time u rushed from out of town because it showed up as 11 mins than when I showed up they said sorry we’re only doing appointments we’re short staffed there was 3 girls working and only 2 people sitting they didn’t even bother worst place to go!

Super friendly staff, went for a walk in at 2: 30ish friday was out within 10 mins.check wait times on the lifelabs website.you have to go through the hospital parking lot to 2300 eglinton (it's the building across from the hospital).

Went for a family member's test. Online wait time from the parking lot was around 6 mins, however in reality it took almost an hour (50 mins). I can understand if 6 mins became 20, but if that becomes almost an hour, then the wait times are completely unreliable. Test was quick, although the staff seemed a bit grumpy. I do appreciate the work health care professionals do and the pressure they go through, but there's no need to bring in unnecessary topics while responding if you didn't like the question. Results were available partially on same day with remaining on the next day, so that was a good thing. I would say go with an appointment as far as possible or go right at the time they open.

Rude staff. Parking is so difficult at this location. Lifelabs, please teach your staff how to be polite to patients, what do you all train your technicians and staff for? Just drawing blood and tears? It is not just about drawing blood for testing, it is about the entire experience from the time the patient walks in to the time the patient is out.
Edit: Please teach the petite lady with short black hair to be courteous (who sits in the reception) and not cut people off, while they are talking, she is sooo LOUD while she is asking the patients about personal particulars, that even the last person in the lab sitting far away can hear it. If you are reading this lady, you need to change your attitude and not feel entitled, just do your job properly, it will make a huge difference for you and others! I have been to other labs, and never have I ever seen a lady that talks like she is yelling at people.

The building elevator is not working usually and they are on the fourth floor. Their appointment booking system is usually not sending confirmation of the appointment. The staff is completely unprofessional.

The technician went through 5 patients without changing gloves or sanitizing her hands. And this is at a time when cases are spiking again. When we tried to raise our concerns, the staff tried to hush it away. Parking is another issue at this place. Prefer the meadowvale location which has a quicker turnaround time as well!

Since all the lifelab's score are not very high, so I didn' t pay much attention and kept coming here to do the blood test because I love the credit valley ultra sound, so I do the blood test here btw, but after this time the third time doing blood test here, I decide I will never come again. Their skill or maybe just attitude is quite brutal and random, I felt not much careful everytime they do the blood work for me, because my vine is relatively slim, but they do it fast everytime, and very painful during the drawing everytime. While I was drawing blood from other clinics, I almost felt nothing once they put the needle into my skin, this lifelab make me feel painfull all the way for blood drawing process. This time I felt it's more serious, so before the blood test, the nurse didn't even ask me to make a fist like everyone will do, and just throw, yes, throw the needle into my skin, like throw the dart into my arm, which is very painful at that moment she put it, and keep being painful during the blood draw, and even right now after few hrs, I still feel my arm painful which is quite unnormal, usually it should gone away within half an hr. I suspect she actually hurted my nerve. And for all the three time I draw blood, it always left the spot bruise after that, I know it can related to if I press my spot long enough, but the thing is, it just never happened when I drew blood from other clinics, who are obviously more careful. Whatever reason it is, I don't have really good experience here for drawing blood. Not gonna come again, it's related to the attitude of nurses, how serious and careful they are to the patient.

Should have known not to book here from the 2 star review. Rude and unaccommodating staff. I arrived just a few minutes late after having difficulty finding parking and the lab location in the building. After fasting all day for my bloodwork you would hope to be accepted but I was harshly turned away.
Recommending you all to book a more convenient and polite location.

The ladies here, especially Cheryl and Ally were incredibly helpful to me! Another Life Labs location booked me 45 mins to closing for a one hour test. Cheryl and Ally understood the mistake and did everything to accommodate me and completed all of my remaining tests! This was super helpful as not all Life Labs can perform all of the lab tests that I needed to get done. I really appreciated the ladies helping me so I didn’t have to book another appt, wait again and fast again. A BIG thank you to Cheryl & Ally! I’ll definitely be back to this Life Labs location again when I need lab tests done again.

No concern for medical conditions; I was told too bad, you should've booked an appointment, I tried but unfortunately was not able to after multiple attempts. Staff needs to be replaced, no compassion at all. If you don't like your job leave! You decided this field!

Highly efficient service; had an appointment and was in and out in less than 10min! The technician was also amazing - friendly and hardly felt a thing when she was drawing blood! Great job team! Thank you!

I requested help from head office to reach this location as I needed a blood test for my husband and the date given on line was not OK as he had to go into the hospital on the 28th of April and the appt.was May 10th. The blood test needed was urgent to have info reach the specialist prior to going to the hospital. I went to the lab & the lady at the desk did not care to listen only stated you have to have an appt. She couldn't care less to find out what I required. This is not service, get new staff. Head Office tried twice to reach this lab and stated they are not answering their phone. People need service not to be treated so badly.

My wife who is pregnant took and appointment for a screening. We reached a bit early and she was in the queue to check on next steps. Suddenly a lady from lifelabs come and started asking random questions (appointment time and all). Then without looking at anything directed my wife to wait.
After waiting for 25mins, she saw the people at reception chit chatting and accepting people without an appointment. That's when she decided to to go back and ask about her appointment. To her surprise people at counter weren't aware she was waiting all this while with an appointment.
Note: During the wait time many people had an argument or some issue with the staff.
Please avoid this location. They don't respect customers!

Not helpful and misleading service. I was refused blood test because the receptionist told me that I did not book an appointment, while their website says that appointment is only recommended. She also refused to make an appointment for a later time. The lab was empty- no clients at all.
In contrast, Dynacare lab serves those with online appointment and walk-in clients, in a very professional and quick way, adhering to all Covid-19 rules. I will never use Lifelab and do not recommend this to anybody.

This place is like your typical 3rd world country experience! Waited in line for 1 hour only to let others bud in and try to jump the line! Once I get to the front the gentleman asks if I was next in line!
Took my health card and blood requisition and was told at 3: 00pm it was a 2 hour wait and that they will text me when it's my turn!
Keep in mind the place is closing at 4: 00pm
One thing we have learned is how to make money but give service like the 3rd world!
This is what the new canada looks like these days
Update! Recieved their text message "your turn next" only to find out they had texted everyone that was left about 20 others waiting in line waiting their turn next!
Another 2 hour wait!
I honestly cannot believe this why cant they open till at least 6 or 7pm to handle the traffic created by them by only opening till 4pm or expand and get more employees to handle the crowd!
This is absolutely ridiculous

Front desk and staff is unprofessional. Please ask your staff to stop gossiping about patients. Life labs teach your staff about how to explain the procedure. Also surprised to see that you don’t have weight and height measuring scale even-though measurements Mandatory (According to your staff) for certain tests. I booked appointment. We were on time but it took more than 30 minutes for them to start our test.

Are looking to get blood work "maybe" done? ! You have found the place for you! Make an appointment, it claims they will "call" of any issues prior to appointment. Do not worry, they will never call you, with any issue they will just tell you right at the appointment so you can't do anything at that point! And do not dare to call" they are to busy" doing nothing to ever answer the phone! Would recommend if you 'maybe' need to get bloodwork.

I was a walk in today for blood tests. Was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Technician was sensitive and efficient. Place was clean and modern. Very pleased.

Staff is friendly enough, however clinic is very disorganized. They confused my blood test (tested for another thing). After my call, and the call from my dr they promised to make another appointment, but they did not follow up! This morning I was on hold for over 20 minutes waiting for someone to pick up the phone. Finally I spoke to operator who was not able to reach the clinic. What a mess!

One women (middle age, Filipino with glasses) at the front desk was extremely rude and inpatient. I waited over an hour after signing in and when I asked her how long more it's going to be she screamed at me "Just wait, we can't be there at all times! "

The women that took my blood was a little nicer but left me with a huge bruise afterwards. This has never happened before while taking blood.

This place is hard to find. There are no boards or signs guiding the visitors. This place is in the building 2300 as mentioned in the address. Go to unit 406. There are literally no signs whatsoever. So walk in 2300 and go to 4th floor suite 406. Also the parking is very hard to find here and not free. Its better to park at a nearby mall/plaza and walk over (if you can) it will actually save you time since finding the parking here can at least take 10-15 minutes. So leave accordingly for the appointment.
Also, book your appointment online and you will be in and out in a jiffy.
So, Two tips: 1.park outside the nearby Walmart (save money)
Of course, if you are coming with someone who can't walk then drop them at the front gate first and then go and park the car.
2. Book appointment online (reach on time) and save time.

N. B: The Walmart Supercenter across the road is literally 5-7 minutes walk from this building.

Not sure why a lot of people seem to be saying negative things about this place. 2300 Eglinton is a building that yes, is paid parking so make sure you get someone to drop you off or else park across the street at the mall and walk on down. Also PRO TIP: MAKE SURE YOU BOOK AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE or else you WILL be waiting for a long period of time as preference is given to those who have made an online appointment rather than walk in patients. You can easily make one online by making an account (it's fast) or call the 1800 number.
The receptionists were both south asian ladies and were both kind, patient, and very sweet. I was actually 5 min late for my appointment but they took me in right away and I was in and out within 7 minutes flat. I told the lady taking my blood that I had a tendency to faint after I get my blood drawn and she immediately took me to a new room where she got me to lie down and drew my blood there. I didn't faint. Got my results online within a day. Great service, great care, overall, very satisfied!

I had a nice experience today. The staff was kind. It is usually hard for me to get my blood extracted. The nurse was patient and did a good job. I didn't have to wait much, about 15 minutes. This is my first time here.

7am this morning and the wait time was over an hour. I do not care to make an account in order to make an appointment. (Just another password to remember) I have to wait over an hour and I go every 2 months. I waste a lot of my life waiting in their waiting room no matter what time i go. Although staff is decent with me.
