Very unprofessional and unhelpful specifically at the front desk. It’s a very purposeful dismissive attitude. Slow and incompetent as well. People who don’t want to work in healthcare should find another career.
Very unprofessional and careless bunch of people. They had me sit and wait there for 40 minutes before telling me that they do not do that test today that I was there for. Also they needed some extra form from the doctor for this test. When I asked them why didn't they tell me when I came in, they said it is okay, just come back. Did them there was no value for my time.
If you need to come here with the newborn for a blood work, please don’t do this to your baby. They clearly don’t know how to treat babies. Horrible experience!
I had an appointment When i reached there i fund them rude and unhelpful, they made us to stand in a line without doing our paper work, after 40 min that we stand in the line they start to do our paper work from end of the line! And made us to stand again in that line, i went there to drop-off my test and time was very very important fore me that i think my test went wrong due to their problems, nothing was important for them, one star is much for them
Terrible terrible terrible. I am actually in here now and it’s a hint show. It’s unorganized and the staff is extremely rude. Never coming back to this dump and escalating my complaint about the staff’s unprofessional demeanour.
I have been to this location twice now and both times the service was great. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Although I had appointments booked from before it took them a little longer than the scheduled time to see me. The location has plenty of free parking available.
Had an awesome experience with nurse Judie, a pleasant and professional woman who knew exactly what she was doing. She welcomed me warmly, checked me in and had an extremely light hand when drawing blood from my arm. I did not even feel a pinch and had no bruises afterwards. It was done very professionally and will be looking forward to go here for future visits.
We got this address for lifelabs customer service to drop off a test at 1030am today however when we got there the lady said they're closed and were directed to go to the Islington location. However online it says open until 3pm! Why are lifelab reps not aligned with the locations? What a waste of time.
This is the worst place to go to. They do not respect the appointment time. The staff is ridiculously rude and careless. I had an appointment booked for 2: 45 Reached there 15 min prior to my appointment. I had to get blood work and another test done. They kept me waiting for the blood work and finally finished doing it at 3. Told me to go downstairs for the test. And then when I went to get the other test done, I was told that I was late for my appointment and they can’t do it. The receptionist in the basement said herself that the people upstairs do not care. I mean who says to the patients? !? They clearly DO NOT CARE. I had eaten nothing the whole day, took a day off of work so I can get things done and trusted lifelabs. But all in vain.
WORST PLACE AND PEOPLE. Do not trust them. I’m glad I got out of there, wouldn’t trust them with my test/health. No ways.
Sadly I had to give them one star, I wouldn’t even give that to them.
The worst life lab location. Staff are unorganized and extremely rude. My fiancé had an appointment booked and it took over an hour until he was seen. More than 15 people who arrived after us were seen in the time we were waiting. When trying to inquire what the issue was, staff ignored us multiple times and did not help at all. The staff also did a terrible job with the collection of bloodwork, making multiple attempts and leaving a massive bruise. Save yourself the trouble and go to a different life lab
It was an awesome experience with this Life Labs personnel! They were very nice taking blood test, urine test & ECG test. But I have pay $39 for Vit D not included in OHIP.
Lazy / Rude staff 1.couldn’t reach out to me that they would not test my lab result because I did not “ attach” the sticker to the bottle instead left it in the same bag and handed it to the secretary who stated this was good and I could leave. Even more disappointing they couldn’t add the sticker themselves and complete their job. Clearly lack of work ethic, where does life labs find these “ employees”? Also moping / cleaning is a thing when it comes to a clean work environment, should try it sometime
Positive: great nurses who take the blood! It’s my second time here, both times didn’t feel a thing, very professional. Light handed.
Negative: the two younger girls at front desk. Not sure who decided to hire them, but they look and talk like they are forced to be there. Answer with attitude and very uninterested in helping.
My first time coming here 7 months ago, they had different receptionist, much more attentive and helpful.
Last experience was not a great one. Bathroom was very dirty and unkept, which was very surprising seeing the current situation of things. Staff felt a bit inattentive, and inexperienced. Didn’t provide much guidance and it was almost as if I was supposed to know the steps on my own. Will definitely not be visiting this location in the future.
Made online booking and tried to get something close by but was un successful - closest available was Vaughan so I booked it. Glad I did because covid protocols were well executed and Front desk customer service was excellent, and Sheila was amazing! Very gentle as she knew I was having alot of blood drawn, she suggested I lay down and she calmed me down throughout the process. Great location, great staff!
They are so professional and a very important point is that is possible to have your result online free. They do not sell your own results like other some labs
I was there this morning for blood work. Was greeted so nicely. Was a walk in, only waited 30 minutes. The technician was quick and efficient. Usually when I get blood work done it takes them awhile to find my vein. She did an amazing job and no bruising. Thanks for great customer service.
