What a horrible experience, the staff is extremely rude! You can’t yell at people because you’re overwhelmed with your job. Everyone is so miserable working at this place!
Extremely inefficient. Their credit card machine stops working all of a sudden and they ask us to go find an atm.
I paid using the same machine more than 1.5 hour before my blood draw and they tell me it’s not in the system.
I understand everyone is overwhelmed but following protocols and procedures is the way to manage a lab!

Everyone seemed very friendly I brought my mom in for an appointment which was at 1: 05 they took her in at 1: 03 everything seemed professional

I didn't find the staff here to be overly friendly at all. The woman who did my bloodwork mumbled which made it hard to hear what she wanted me to do and was very dry. I know that they have to deal with very unpleasant work but I would appreciate if they were a bit kinder, especially as I was a bit nervous about having bloodwork done. Aside from that the walk-in time wait wasn't as long as I expected and the bloodwork was quick.

Best lifelabs location and great customer service as well!

They love ️ us there; knowing my mom as their regular.

This lab is okay, but having an appointment has no benefits. Even with appointments, I've had to always wait about half an hour.

Don't understand the lower ratings. It serves a lot of clients. Great service. Very friendly staff.
It's so convenient for the patients with the doctors in 89 and 101 Queensway. I was just there and I was in and out in no time for blood work, ecg, etc. VERY nice staff.

Even when you book an appt, the wait time is still half an hour, so there’s not really a point of booking an appointment. It’s clearly very understaffed and the staff are very stressed, which often translates to rudeness.

I will Not use this Lab again!

Do you imagine that the person who took my blood (yesterday 07/7/22) had poked me 2 times! Becouse, She was negligent,
I had 2 Reqestitions. 1 from Rhumatoide Specialist and 2nd
1 a Genetic blood test.

She took 3 veils of blood and than, She said Oh.
I need 2 more for the other test (Genetic)
1st needle was very uncomfortable, big thick needle! She, said I won't use the big needle in the 2nd time drowning blood.
She used the "Butterfly " needle was fine, but what really bothered me is that it's how we been treated, how neglect is taking over, and it's a norm nowadays I am very dissatisfied, with any adequate services, like this.

I think the whole thing with Health care system is collapsing! And the people who are still doing the Jobs, aren't caring and careful, accurately doing their job anymore.
What's your take on it?
I realy want to know,

In last 2 months, I have came to rude awakening, with my Family Doctor too.
I was told " Do you think, I have only you? "
Unprofessional, unacceptable, attitude,
really changed since Covid.

I think they made their big $$ charging for ️ consoltations, but that's not a Doctors care, Now,
You, have to be beginning for Office appointment.

Covid is Over!
Weakup people, this is total, insanity and neglect.

The next phase - People's who will need Doctors care, if that's Hospital Emergency, ect.are the once that will be victim's and die.
This is just insane.

Not sure why you would book an appointment if they still make you wait over 35minutes for it. Some of the ladies at the front were also very rude.

Online scheduling is very convenient - one of the few labs that I was able to find an appointment in during the holidays, I had bloodwork done within 10-15 mins of the appointment time, reception and lab techs were efficient at their job, paid parking lot with lots of parking.

Extraordinary people in this facility. I took a glucose test at this location just this morning, and i had to stay a couple hours for the test. The one who attended to me initially was ate Charlotte. She was so nice and kind. Unfortunately i started feeling lightheaded, but didn't want to bother anyone (i am pregnant). But i tell u, everyone was so attentive and came to check in on me at the waiting area. They even made me lay down to relax. If i could mention each of their names, i would, because they all deserve credit. They were all so efficient, polite and professional. I don't know where all these negative feedbacks are coming from. But that wasn't the case. All i could do was to let them know i appreciate all the hardwork they do. I was only there a few hours, some, a few minutes, but they made sure everyone left happy and well taken care of (it was a small facility so I can hear other clients being happy with the service). This is a good branch, with a great staff. I couldn't be more grateful. Thank u to everyone for doing your job so well, it's really very much appreciated. ️

This is the first time I have used LifeLabs. I will NEVER use LifeLabs again. 2 weeks after my test (can't get results online) I phoned and was told results had been finalized and sent to my doctor. Three weeks later-my results have not arrived at my doctor's. Also, it seems like there is only one phone number to reach LifeLabs and the wait time on hold is hours! Terrible customer service!

The skill set of nurses in this location is very bad. I was there in March for a regular blood test, this was my first time in this location, one of the nurse pocked me twice and gave me a huge bruise after taking my blood test. Never go there anymore.

They are understaffed! You can clearly tell how frustrated and tired they are and that is why it is EXTREMELY SLOW!

My first visit at life labs location on Queensway and it was a breath of fresh air. The place was clean, timings were kept, staff were polite, friendly and kind.

If it weren't for the rude lady before him who attempted to take my blood and failed, I would have given them 5 stars.

Very unprofessional and inexperienced.
Took 10 tubes full blood samples from my preganant wife for 10 test (3 sample collection was repeated). They took ten full tubes from from person who is already less on blood level. All the test can be done with one tube of blood.why they have to take 10 samples, are they sending it across canada for testing?
And after collection, they asked if my wife was okay and adviced her to have a nice dinner, as if her body is gonna reproduce that amount of blood by morning.
Need to check with the doctor too, docs have to know one thing, pregnancy is not an illness.

Amazing and friendly staff! The nurse was so kind even though I was such a baby during my blood test. I had an appointment for 8: 55 and there was hardly any line so I was in and out in about 20 minutes!

Took my newborn for routine bloodwork. The technicians that worked at Queensway location had no idea how to collect samples for a newborn. They pricked him thrice on the heels and took 30 mins to collect samples utilizing an ancient technique. The result was blood hemolysis and no labatory testing could be performed on the sample collected. In short, the incapable nurses (named Dua) should be immediately let go for the torture they have to the newborn or be retrained in how to do their job. Take your child to Sikkids or some hospital and stay away from these butchers!

Came here this afternoon and my experience was great. I am really afraid with needles and this kind of tests but the lab personnel assigned to me was very funny and kind and made things so easy for me. Yeah, the waiting time is kinda long though.

Not happy Being seniorWith an coagulation test to be done! An un experimented tech did not get the sample right!

So need another visit to facility for a new puncture. I have a low mobility severe osteoarthritis a lot of discomfort to commute

My 4 yo had to do blood test. Staff made a mistake, poked her twice, they were unprepared and took forever to complete these tests. So much to say that my baby’s experience was AWEFUL! Terrible lab and don’t even look at those waiting times.wrong!

Don't go there. I had an appointment one hour before the closing and they did the test with so much lethargy. They were asking me to blow into a container and told me like "you know how to do, do it". Yes, I do Urea Breath test in my pass time to know how it is done. I knew they won't find anything in my test because all it took them was 2 seconds to do the after test. I stepped out for one minute and went back in to tell them that I was not confident they did it right, they were closed and we're out. I had to pay 100 dollars for it. Wish they have some sincerity towards their profession.

We waited for ages while staff were laughing and enjoying each others
time. Health card never was returned and I sent my son to retrieve it and they were so ignorant to him. They were indifferent to looking after the situation and could not care less. They should close down or look for new employees. Something should be done

Horrible wait times. Fully staffed but it takes forever to get called. Staff is slow! Do not recommend this location.

On Dec 11,2018, I arrived at the lab at 101 Queensway at 8: 51 AM, I was the third person there. After 8 minutes, the other two have left. But then, there was no service a long time even though there were many workers inside. When I left the lab for a simple blood test, it was already 9: 45 AM. I had chosen this location because visitors are required to pay for parking and usually there are less visitors.

Very friendly staff there.my young daughter liked them although she is afraid of the needle but they dealt with her with patience
