No complaints, was a walk-in at this location, had no appointment. Waited about twenty five minutes then was called up, the person taking my blood was gentle and did a fantastic job. Would totally recommend and will be back I’m sure.

The staff definitely lacks social skills and techniques for getting the blood sample. Will never recommended This place for anyone.

Let me be clear, the issues with this lab is not staff but 100% management issues. I'm older but don't deserve any better or faster treatment than anyone else. However it's difficult for me to stand for an extended period. All three visits recently to this lab have been horrendous to say the least. All visits so far required one pick up and drop off. Simple straight forward you'd think. Not at all, had to wait inline as intake staff took off to see to this or that. Come back check in one person sometimes two then disappeared again for a good amount of time. By the time I made it up to desk, I was sick to my stomach and in a lot of pain. I'm dreading next week's appointments for time sensitive blood work over two days after reading through reviews. Frankly I wouldn't use this lab but my specialist insisted I had to use lifelabs. Why I don't know but I plan on finding out.
As said this is a management problem. Your understaffed as I can see your present staff are run off their feet. Trouble getting staff. Address why your having trouble and rectify it. Meantime implement take a number system so that people can at least sit down instead of standing for long periods of time. Some like myself simply cannot stand that long and your doing nothing to address this issue. Every business (which you are) wants to be profitable, that I understand. However I'm sure you can find ways to do this yet still treat people like human beings. Please remember yes most of this testing is covered by health care. But that does not mean people do not deserve respect and much better service than your supplying.

Unfortunately there isn't a way to give zero stars. Some of the staff here are amazing. Others like the tech that took my blood today are not. Not even a hello, asked my name then GRABBED my arm to start taking my blood. That was after waiting for nearly 60mins for my appointment after several walk-ins were helped before me.
This is a MANAGEMENT issue, the people in power making the most money are not doing their job. Just called to make a formal complaint because clearly a review means nothing to whoever is running this location.

I get that Saturday's are probably pretty busy but igoring 5 people in line is definitely not a good sign when it's your first time at this lab. I arrived at 9: 10 and waited in line until 9: 40. I managed to make it to the first in line but gave up because I wasn't going to wait 193 minutes to get my bloodwork done when that time didn't include the time I've already waited. They also mixed up this poor ladies scheduled appointment and marked her as a walk-in. It seems as though they need a more organized process in place, and they seemed flustered when dealing with people. I should have read the reviews before wasting my time. Hopefully they can improve, but with our healthcare the way it is, I doubt that will happen.

I would give no stars. Staff have no manners and seem like they don’t even like their job where they need to talk to patients/customers all day.

Need to be re trained asap!

Lowest you can give is one star, would get no stars if possible. Rudest, most unprofessional reception I have ever dealt with in my entire life, whoever was working the morning of the 22nd needs to at the very least have a stern talking to about the way the talk with clients. Absolutely unacceptable and deplorable behaviour. Go to another location or another company, do not use this location

Staff is rude and dismissive to everyone I saw come in. System they use doesn't appear to work properly. One gentleman was sent to a booth and they clearly just completely forgot about him for about 30 minutes. It's like they don't know what they're doing.

Flip a coin. This lab visit was bad. My appointment was 7: 30AM but they cleared all the walk-ins before my turn, 10 min waiting room was not fair especially when I was told that I'd be next. When I complained one of the lab technicians at the desk laughed. But for the smiling nice lab technician who took my blood, others appeared indifferent. I'm 79 with a lot of patience. This LifeLab office needs a tune up.

After checking with the LifeLabs website that this location was open on Saturday, we drove out to this location. The website showed a 0 minute wait time. Upon arrival, there was a piece of paper on the door that stated this location was closed.

I came in with 2 requisitions today (July 9) and I'm deathly afraid of needles. The woman who drew my blood was so incredibly kind and patient and even used a smaller needle. Unfortunately, I got light headed and started to black out. The receptionist grabbed some ice and they had me put my head down and after a few minutes I felt so much better. Thank you so much to the kind team at this location. I wish I could have gotten the two women's names.

Very unprofessional for health care professionals. One of the workers called out a patient’s name in the waiting room. When the patient was not there, or had left, or had not responded, or didn’t hear the worker, or for whatever reason there was no response…. The worker yelled out loud so everyone in the reception area and in the waiting room can hear her “and you wonder why they complain when their name isn’t called”.

I was appalled.

I need to get my blood checked every 2 weeks. I’ve gone to this location for the past 3 years. All the staff work very hard and they were always doing their best to get you done and out. I really appreciated their professionalism.

Came in to get my 3 year olds urine sample done - which should be an in/out thing, and the lady doing the screening at the front seemed so rude. It was an hour until closing (she mentioned it was a problem that I came because of this) and at one point I ended up asking if I should just go somewhere else, and she just ignored me - I was so confused over what was going on and all the random comments. I normally go to dynacare but came here because out doctors office lost his last sample and it was urgent to check on his kidney functions. I’d rather drive further to go to our usual spot.

I have absolutely no idea why this Center has so many negative reviews. My wife and I landed here today for our blood work and the experience was amazing. We were in and out in about 30 mins. Staff are very professional, courteous and there was actually no queue even though we walked in. Plenty of free parking in the premises, a gas station and Tim Hortons right besides it adds to the good experience. Only thing I would mention for improvement is signage, it is little tricky to locate it if you are approaching it from king street. It is actually facing Park Rd S. Keep up the good work!

Highly unorganized.terrible system in place to screen before patients enter. Very rude screening nurse with a nasty attitude. The clinic itself is pretty unclean.nothing looks like it has been wiped or sanitized. They have signs posted saying "kindness is contagious" but some nurses there need a crash course in what kindness truly is. Do yourself and find another location!

I have never seen a more disorganized lab. If people must make appointments, then please do not say you offer walk ins. The system in place isn’t working, staff is completely unhelpful. People waiting for hours. I was there for a 2 hour test (which had to be done at a LifeLabs) and watched patients become so frustrated at the lack of direction. Staff shrugs it off. People left waiting in cubicles. I will avoid LifeLabs whenever possible in the future. Go to Dynacare.

HORRIBLE! So unorganized. My appointment was at 12: 40 they took people in without an appointment and people who's appointment was after mine. An hour later I get called in. Unacceptable.

With an appointment you'll still wait an hour. Saw nothing wiped down. Urine fridge in the waiting area. Paint peeling everywhere. A bathroom toilet 4 feet from where your blood is taken. No lab coats in the back testing area despite signs saying theyre required. Friendly staff but there was nothing sterile or clean about this place. Wont be back

If time is important to you don't go there. I used 'Save my spot', my 10 min wait turned into 1 hr! They were not that busy I am not sure what is going on. This is not the first time I've used 'save my spot' during COVID and it works when it is used properly. Very disappointing!

Terrible service waiting over and hour, still here, staff very slow and unorganized. I expect nothing very unprofessional. Should be shut down if they cannot operate any better than this.

I dont go anywhere else. Professional staff, friendly. Clean and efficient. Plus the lady there never hurts my arm when I get needles. Thank you to the staff that put themselves at risk to help us get healthy and stay healthy.

I just wanted to praise the man at the front handling the line and checking people in. Super kind and friendly, calm under stress, and efficient. Went here because they open early.

It’s an issue when people who have booked appointments (2 weeks prior) are waiting in line for over 45mins, AFTER their appointment time. In that line included a mixture of a pregnant lady, seniors and a mother with her child. The lady then came outside and got upset at everyone. I understand people are under a lot of stress, but taking it out on others is not right. Never going to this location again.

Booked my appointment 2 weeks ago. Went for my appointment today and the lineup is 20 people long. I waited a couple mins and then skipped the line and went inside. Asked at the counter and the lady told me that I have to wait in line outside.behind the people waiting as walkins.somebody needs to re-educate the director/staff/etc as to the definition of appointment.

Waiting line is ridiculous, better book an appointment. They do accept walk in but you have to wait for a long time.staff are so friendly.i recommend this place.

Wait time was ridiculous! Had to get an ECG for an 8 week old and they ignored me when I raised my hand saying I had registered for save my spot and had to wait longer then waiting inside for other people to get their ECG done before my 8 week old baby.

My daughter who has lymphedema preacox, and Deep Vein thrombosis, was Bullied today by a lady named, we were told last time we were here, due to my daughters need to have her blood tested exactly 4 hours after her blood thinner, we have a card that we bring into life labs to bypass and get her seen. Yesterday she spent the whole day in sick kids hospital because her blood clot had travelled from below her knee to her upper hip, even though she's on blood thinners so they upped her dose in hopes that the blood clot does not travel closer to her heart which could result in death, and told me this morning I have to go on to LifeLabs to get her blood levels checked exactly four hours after her dos. So I came into this LifeLabs location 15 minutes before injection needed with this card and I was treated with such unkindness and animosity, the lady ileen began to yell at us for not booking an appointment, to which I had no clue I had to do, and didnt know I was going to have to check her levels till last night after her CT at Sickkids. Then I explained I was told to use the card. She then yelled when she said to wait for an hour like everyone else, I told her levels need to be checked on time, please, then she yelled and said "THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE DYING IN HERE TOO! " INFONT OF MY DAUGHTER! WHO IS NOT DYING! BUT WILL IF HER CLOT MOVES TO HER HEART! And scaring my daughter, my daughter starts to cry heavy fear cries, and the women tells us to go to room 4 fine but NEVER AGAIN and she yells and says shes making a note of it. She then leaves us in room 4 for 20 mins! My daughters crying scared I am also and upset (PTSD and agoraphobia), finally had to ask another nurse to do it because time is of the essence. And the nurse that came and helped us was a very kind, wonderful woman she gave my daughter the injection, also apologized for what we went through, she explained to us that we can go ahead and book online and she gave us information on how to do that, she was compassionate and kind and made me feel safe at that moment and also my daughter felt safe and said that she was very gentle giving her the injection and I deeply appreciate that woman. But to the woman who was rude and bullied, bullying a child who is l with a lifelong disease, bully a single mother who is Just trying her best to care for her child. The women that thought its ok taking out her miserable attitude on me and my daughter, to that woman, I hope you feel ashamed of yourself. What you did was disgusting, uncalled for, immature, and downright traumatic.

I have never had a bad experience.
Friendly considerate staff and the wait time is always reasonable.
They have never missed a vein, and I've never had any bruising.
I would recommend them to anyone.

The only beef I have with this place is that they close too early. I wish they had evening appointments.
