Went in today knowing I may not get time to have my blood work done as walk in since I had to be out of there within a certain time for a dr appointment for my son. Got there it was busy. I was so surprised they were so fast and nice; the lady did my blood work and I was out of there in Less than 35 mins.

I visited today with an elderly family member. Being a Monday, at noon, it was very busy and we did not have an appointment. Blood work and ECG took about an hour all in, which is fine, as there were 6 people in line ahead of us. As well, about 6 people sitting. Staff was efficient and the check in staff member was pleasant. I’d advise an appointment, or perhaps a different day or time of day, but we had visited the Millpond Medical Centre first and the Lab is directly below. We decided to do it all in one trip.

I visit the site today with my 2 toddlers. The process went very smooth, the place is very clean. The staff was very friendly, made us feel at ease. Not sure why there is so many negative review.

The older lady with red curly hair is just awful. She is super rude an impatient. Someone needs to fire her.

Terrible place. If you have a baby don’t ever come here, Brought my one year old for blood works, 3 of them poke him 5 times, also whenever they insert the syringe they keep moving the needle inside to find the vein, it made him cry even more, specially the chunky older white lady who is so miserable, she was so rude to us and rough with my one year old, put a hot pack on my one year old arm so tight, she has anger in her. They are very incompetent claiming they have training with small kids.
Most come here are seniors and they are being yelled at, these staff are in a healthcare setting have no compassion at all. Saw terrible reviews on here I didn’t listen, now it’s time for someone who is reading this to make an extra trip and avoid this place. I hope they do better specially with their attitude

Went to life labs today to get my bloodwork done. It was 11: 30am and I have life threatening conditions. When I got there the lady in the hall said.do you have an appointment? I said no. She said we are full today and we only take so many walk ins. There was ONE lady in the waiting room, and ONE lady in the hall. Wow no wonder people don't care when they cry over money. Shame on you at the alliston location.

My 13 years old daughter had her blood work done here today. The lady who took her blood was so rude and so rough at the ECG room. She was angry at me cause I took a chair and sat on it. We were waiting in the room for over 30 mins! She took the angry out on my child as she took her bloodwork. Was so rough. I apologized about sitting on the chair. She said she had to clean it as it was contaminated! Like, why do you than keep chairs in the room? My daughter got her bloodwork done there before but this is the first time we had such an awful experience!

Absolutely unorganized! We had to leave after waiting 25 mins & didn't even move 1 spot.
One of the staff members (Susan) came out & was so rude to people that we couldn't take it. I work in customer service & I'd be out of a job if I talked to people & pointed the way she did. Go to another lab, I'm sure your experience would be better.

Wife spent 1hr there terribly service. Staff wouldnt take time to explain what save my spot meant and how to do it. If I ran my business like this I wouldnt have one. Staff was rude and if they can't take the time to help people maybe they should find a new job. Never did get blood work done. Just went to Centra Xray and Ultrasound staff was very helpful maybe Life lab sould use as a model for their staff to follow.

The staff here were very friendly. Given the current circumstances with Covid, there is a longer wait for walk-ins and you must wait in the hall until you are screened and welcomed to go into the waiting area. They do check often for appointments to bring those people in first. I did not have an appointment booked and was treated fairly. Michael was amazing at supporting the front desk and screening patients in the hallway. He was polite and courteous the entire time (I visited this clinic at 8am and again at 12pm on the same day). If you’re going to this clinic, bring your patience, the staff are doing the best they can. Christina and Moukie were also lovely; very pleasant and friendly to talk to.

Today I had a bad experience with the nurse who meet a patients. She was so unreasonably unpleasant to everyone in the line. Like we all are already guilty on something. I booked an appointment online ahead and still was waiting in the line for 15 minutes and lady who had appointment 10 minutes later then mine was accepted before me. I know 15-20 minutes is just detailes but why did I do an appointment? I had plans that was partially ruined.

Awful healthcare service provider. I can imagine the gulags were run with similar customer service practices. Avoid the headaches if possible.

I have a palitive mother at home and her Dr regested a stool sample we received the sample so I checked the lifelab website which clearly stated the lab was open til 4 pm. I arrived at the lab at 3: 55 and the door was locked but I seen people inside so I knocked on the door and was ignored so knowing I was one time I knocked again and one of the attendents finally came to the door and very rudely yelled at me saying she didn't need me knocking on the door I said I checked the website and it said opened til 4 pm she then rudely said that during covid that is not necessarily the case.you would think the website would state that is it was true but I have never in my life been treated so rudely and I will be lodging a complaint to the family Dr and I am seriously reporting this to either the newspaper or news this was very uncalled for I myself am a health care worker and I realize working through covid 19 is in no way easy but there is no need what so ever for total rudeness this is the worse clinic I have ever dealt with in my entire life.this woman should be disappointed or let go she clearly has no people skills at all and should not work in any form of health care

I understand Covid has got everyone life upset down. But if you are going to book everyone for the same time slot.you need to hire enough staff to handle it. Or put a warning on website that you will have to wait an hour for an appointment you book for an hour prior. Because of your booking system I am now late for another appointment and putting that dr behind schedule. Respect is earn both ways.respect our time as i am sitting here paitently waiting and thinking about the other appointment I am late for

Miserable staff. You will be waiting for hours even with an appointment but it's the only lab in town so you have no choice.

Super busy. Which I do t know if that's good for society.lol but good for them. They are professional and looks very clean. I made the mistake of not booking an appointment. So for next time create an account and book o line you can be in and out within 10 mins. I trust them for what they do. My only concern is they had a database breach awhile back. I don't know if this ever got resolved. Worth looking into.

This lab gets a 0 star. My 10 year old went in for blood to be taken and you guys brutalized her arm, she is in tears, never wanting to get blood taken, you poked her and continued to - she is 10 years old and you should be ashamed for not stopping sooner. Her arm is beyond sore, I am so upset with this LifeLabs. I should have checked reviews first, before having my husband take her there - "have her drink more water and come back tomorrow" seriously.how about saying that the first time you couldn't find a vein. Not happy, terrible.

Used to be great, now they are just understaffed and it shows in their disposition. Waiting 40+ minutes for a vial of blood is a complete disrespect for people and their time.

There's one chick who works there that I can handle. The blood technician, the other people in this place bark at you to wait behind the stop sign, then can't find your paperwork and have discussions about how they don't like their Royal blue nurse scrubs. Come on people.

Definitely horrible customer service. They need to better organize how they handle patients with appointments. I have had to wait in a long line up and when I approached the desk to say, "but I have an appointment and it's now 10 minutes past" I was yelled at and told to wait my turn in line. So please tell me what the point of setting an appointment online is for!?

I’ve been here a few times. Most of the staff is friendly except for one woman. I do not know her name but every time I come here she tries to turn me away saying she doesn’t even know if she can take my blood today.
Which she has done to me once when I was pregnant and had an appointment!
Awful service from her and she needs training on customer service.

Unfortunately it was a horrible experience. The lady who did my bloodwork first refused to use the proper needle I require, then actually tried to guilt me, suggesting I was "taking needles away" from chemotherapy patients! Also claiming they "didn't have enough" of those needles (doesn't sound like my fault, shouldn't a LAB be properly stocked?) she was rude, incredibly condescending and treated me terribly. I've been having bloodwork done regularly my entire life due to a chronic illness, so I know my body and I know how bloodwork is done. Awful. These people need to realize that it's a MEDICAL facility and people are already in an uncomfortable position when they go there, a kind attitude or even a smile or "hello" would make a world of difference. I already have anxiety about ever having to go back.

Went for blood test to check for any vitamin deficiencies the lady administering the needle was very rude treated me poorly wasn't what I signed up for

I have been to the old place and the new place and I have found all these women to be very friendly and courteous. I have never had to wait very long, they keep patients moving. I almost enjoy my visits. I am a very friendly person and appreciate everyone working in this office. I am a hard one to get blood out of, but these women give it their best and they succeed. I am so grateful for this. It takes patience and they all have it. Highly recommend them.

I've never had a bad experienceinthe10 yrs I've been in Alliston! They run like a well oiled machine no matter how big the crowd. Staff is always friendly and respectful and appointments are an added plus! Always remember you get treated how you treat people!
