Hi I was at Life Lab this morning, September 11/23 for Blood Work Yes it was very busy however the staff were all professional and patient. I want to especially say THANK YU to ERNA who did my blood work She was very friendly, kind and professional and gentle. It's time people sent POSITIVE feedback instead of negative. The staff deserve recognition! Thnx Erna! Sincerely, Carol Silverman
Incredibly rude staff that expect you to know medical terms, and then roll their eyes at you when you don't. Won't be back. There are wonderful nurses and doctors out there, I don't think you'll find them here.
Very friendly staff, i came with my aunt and we had a wonderful experience, we were so happy with the technician Liza was very professional and highly skilled.
I would go for zero star if there is one. Very unprofessional staffs. Disrespectful to clients. You’ll be surprised to see how they talk to the patients. I hope someone would do a recording and put it on YouTube. Lifelabs should train them properly. Staffs need proper customer service training. Don’t bring bad cultures on Canadian soil. Canadians are very respectful to each others. Especially to our elders.
Not only did I have a terrible experience because of the way Liza took my blood jabbing me thrice because she forgot to take another sample and cracking a joke at the same time says it’s not your day today. I have given blood before but this experience was painful.
Here is the WORST PART!
I was also getting charged a $142 dollars because apparently my blood test documents says to charge me according to Liza who works there.
Therefore, I went back to the doctor’s clinic to ask them what’s going on and they told me that LifeLabs never should have charged you because you got your health card before going in for the test.
Liza should have never charged me because I had my health card and I have been calling in for the last 2 weeks since I work during their opening hours.
Highly disorganized place. I was there twice and it was bad. Last time I walked in and they said that the waiting time was around 40 minutes. I decided to wait. After 1,5 hours I asked why everyone who came after me a were already done. They said because those people had appointments. Yet, that’s not true, I was sitting there and heard that 1 out of 3 people had appointments. The stuff was absolutely indifferent and rude. I’ll never come back to that place. The nurses are doing their job great though.
The Filipino lady drew blood on me in a hurry. No device support for the arm, no tapping to find the vein, no alcohol to clean the spot, no skin pinching. She asked me to straighten the arm and went for the kill by jabbing it so hard at a 90 degrees angle. It was painful; she took the needle out, knowing she didn't do it properly. She stabbed it straight on again. I have had blood drawn from different places many times and had no issues. Never again!
People in this location are nice, friendly, and fast. I showed up without printed form and they printed it for me. I like this location above any others in Toronto
This is the worst LifeLabs I have been to. One of the staff working here seemed to be working for a fight. She always yells at people and has no manners. I thinks she has the wrong job.
Perhaps the woman was day off that day. If that bad-tempered woman had been there when you were there, you would have had a very bad experience. I went Life Lab located 4430 Bathurst, I just one questioned but the lady who working there, she has a so annoying voice and very ruled.
I went there around noon on Friday without appointment. There was no line, the staff was very friendly and the blood test went very smooth (I’m actually hard to find vein person for nurses)
Clinic said closes at 5pm. Got there at 4: 30 for a blood test however the receptionist said they are closed and couldn’t perform the test which only takes 5 minutes and with no other patient waiting. Might as well change the time posted online and outside the clinic.
Don't use this location if you're worried about catching covid. With an appointment was forced to wait in long lineup outside elevator in a hallway.just left. Staff was rude, complained and spoke with the manager of the location who basically had no empathy and didn't agree that this was an issue. Would give zero stars if able.
The worst lifelab in the city. Staff are super rude. I had no appointments and they made me wait for an hour where all technicians were free and they were checking their emails. People with no appointments went before me. When I asked they said our printer is slow. 15 minutes later asked again, they said the computer is slow. I was so disappointed. Was late for work and just left after all that time I wasted there. Staff were yelling at me when I asked why I have to wait for so long. I will never be back!
Absolutely zero bedside manner. Every staff member seems like someone is forcing them to work there. Today I was in for a test and a clearly distressed elderly lady lost her purse and they treated her like she was a burden, with no sympathy. I also ended up with a huge clot where the blood was taken. Avoid this place if you can.
My mother had her blood work done here yesterday. The wait time was quick (15 minutes, displayed on a tv screen for every patient) and the lady who inserted the needle, Lisa, did a perfect job.
Unfortunately not the greatest lifelabs I've been to. There were only 2 ppl waiting before me and the staff seemed very preoccupied and flustered. When I arrived I walked to the desk to check in. The admin didnt make eye contact and asked me to sit down even though she seemed available. After 10 minutes of sitting I reminded her i was still waiting. She said she forgot about me.weird experience overall. Considering it wasnt busy I would expect more from the staff. A simple hello at check in isnt too much to ask for.
This is the worst LifeLabs I have been to. The doors opened at 9: 01 & staff seemed flustered & unprofessional. If you want a great experience go to the LifeLabs on Champagne Drive. They open the door 5 minutes earlier to get patients ready and the customer service is amazing.
X ray department was meant to be open at 9: 00. Waited until 10: 00 before leaving in disgust. X ray technician did not even show up. Was told he/she comes in "around" 9: 30. What happened to regular work hours?
Very long line even if you go early, before the lab opens.place is small.staff is friendly and efficient.some patients either do not speak English or do not have manners.receptionist wrote untrue info on my receipt which caused my insurance claim to be rejected.she helped me correct it later though.
