Lifemark Physiotherapy Bathurst & St. Clair

My husband and I went to Lifemark Bathurst & St. Clair after our car accident in August. Terry was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable and cared for in my physiotherapy. Chris was a great massage therapist too and I got very attentive care from my acupuncturist, Sonja. She made sure we covered all my painful areas. The whole team at Lifemark was very friendly and I definitely recommend them.

Great facility with excellent staff who are friendly and helpful. I book massage therapy here every month and always enjoy my experience!

Awhile back I woke up in the midst of a vertigo attack, very scary. I sought treatment quickly with Dr. Barbara Maki and she provided great relief in no time at all despite my having a more complicated type of vertigo. Her assessment to make the diagnosis, her treatments and her guidance were impressive. It was a very professional experience and I will return for further care when required.

I got physiotherapy from Mehrdad and he was amazing. Improved my range of motion and strength. He was polite, great with booking, explaining everything he was doing, and how best to do the exercises. He isn't there to waste someones money, he is there to do a great job and it shows. His exercises have worked great and I still them to continue improving my strength.

It was overall okay. Felt a bit rushed. The physiotherapist got called in the middle by her boss/owner (?) To ask about something while with me. Pretty unprofessional in my opinion.

After facing several challenges sorting out my workplace injury benefit reimbursement claims with WSIB, I was finally referred to Lifemark after I had been going to a different physiotherapy clinic that did not support direct billing; I’m so glad I made the switch! I chose the Bathurst & St. Clair location as it’s a convenient distance from both my home and my workplace, and I’m often able to schedule my appointments either before, after, or during my work day.

It’s been almost a year of post-concussion symptoms, but with the strengthening and reconditioning exercises that Terry customizes to my fluctuating pain issues, I’m finally starting to gain hope that I will one day resume my normal pre-concussion range of motion. Thanks to Terry and the entire team at Lifemark for all the work that you do, especially so that I can focus on my recovery and never have to worry about paying out-of-pocket for reimbursement or dealing with my WSIB paperwork!

Excellent staff, I highly recommend this physiotherapy clinic. Working with Terry has helped me work through my pain and get back to living my life. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

The administrative and physio staff are wonderful! The warm and welcoming atmosphere helps me feel at ease. The physiotherapist I work with most, Mehrdad, is very patient and encouraging, and Ross, a kinesiologist, explains the exercises so well when I practice with her. I most recently worked with Terry for TMJ pain, and as with the others, his kind approach really supported me. I am only able to access physiotherapy through OHIP and really appreciate that I'm treated with respect here. I highly recommend Lifemark Bathurst and St. Clair for physiotherapy!

I was a student intern as a Physiotherapy assistant at this place for almost 4 months. I had great learning experience. The staff over there were so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They had even put me in their schedule with proper times of shadowing with each physiotherapist and other staff. They even trained me in various hand-on techniques, which were very unique and interesting. I had a great experience working as a student Physiotherapy assistant at this clinic.

I would like to thank Robert, Terry and all the staff at Lifemark for helping me recover from my wrist fracture. You have helped me so much and I really appreciate it.

The staff is very nice but when it comes to bookings and follow up appointment they are not the best. They don't call clients when they say they would so there is a lot of delay in between appointments

Julie is the absolute best! Changed me for the better. Everyone here is professional and helpful.

I was scared out of mind when I tore my Achilles, but thank God I had Julie as my physiotherapist. She took her time with my recovery even when things started taking a little longer than they should have. She helped me relearn how to walk, and regain overall flexibility/ mobility. I’ve been to a few physio’s in my lifetime now, but she’s hands down the best I’ve ever been to. Her passion for her craft is very apparent, and she truly cares about her patient’s recovery.

Went into LifeMark at Bathurst and St. Clair with a work related hip flexor/groin strain. Not only were they the only clinic in my area that deals with WSIB but they were absolutely amazing to work with. Put me on stretching/strengthening session twice a week for a month and by the end of the second week I was feeling much improved. Thank-you very much Terry and Robert for getting me back to %100!

This particular Lifemark at 1500 Bathurst just steps away from St Clair Ave W, on the NW side, is very accessible by streetcar and bus. OHIP is accepted at this location but there are certain stipulations so it’s best to speak to your doctor and Lifemark before hand.
It is never crowded, very clean and welcoming. I learnt a lot and from the excellent guidance and treatments and feel so much better, finally!

I have been seeing Chris for many years and now I won’t see anyone else! He’s the best RMT I have ever had.

I started seeing Julie for physio after a minor car accident and she was fantastic and helped me find exercises that work for me.

I also just started seeing Sonia for acupuncture for some nerve issues and there has been a remarkable difference only after a couple of sessions.

Love this place and the people. I live across the city now and take the time to drive to and from my appointments because I don’t want to try anywhere else everyone is so good here!

Very organized (clean too!) and professional in every aspect.
My physiotherapist Boris is very knowledgeable and experienced. He recommended to go see a physiatrist after my first assessment for a frozen shoulder at Lifemark. I came back to be seen by him after getting an injection at the physiatrist clinic, and my shoulder is slowly but surely improving. Boris' assessment was absolutely right - I did need the injection done by a physiatrist; otherwise, I couldn't have done much of exercises because of the pain.
I don't normally have to wait for my appointment after checking-in. The pre-screening can be done prior to my appointment online. Upon arrival, the receptionists check their system to see if my pre-screening is done and let me come in. They check my temperature and give me a new clean mask and have me sanitize my hands. And right after that, they take me in to the treatment room right away. Very smooth.

My recent session was the 3rd time I have used this location and I continue to be impressed and highly recommend it.

I've been attending Lifemark Bathurst & St Clair location for many years. The staff are professional, attentive, and friendly. They have supported me through a work injury and WSIB claim, a car accident and insurance claim, a broken ankle resulting from a fall, and ongoing health issues.

Registered Massage Therapist Chris Perlik is excellent with years of experience. He is thorough and caring. He will focus on specific area of concern, releasing tight muscles. I can't say enough good about Chris.

I also work with Physiotherapist Julie Lee and Kinesiologists Roz and Noah. They have helped me find ways to manage through my injuries and help with restoring strength, mobility, and function, with treatment and prescribed exercises.

Administrative staff Mary and Tanya are dedicated and friendly. I always feel welcome and cared for at Lifemark.

I can’t think of enough positive things to say about this place. Rahil, my physiotherapist is attentive and knowledgeable. Benhaz my massage therapist is probably the best massage therapist I’ve ever had (and I’ve had many). Overall amazing service and a great place to go to for all your rehabilitation needs.

I was ever so lucky to have Mr. Shaikh as my physiotherapist! I've never done physio therapy before until I had pulled my back. He was my first physiotherapist and he taught me several exercises and a lot about my muscles and the ones supporting behind it. Not only was he so knowledgeable and kind but he also knows how to deal with patient with care. I'm still new to the physio therapy world but I know that if I ever injure myself again, I'll know who to call first!

I came here with a broken wrist and little hope. They accepted me and gave me and gave me a therapist named Rahil. Rahil is patient and knowledgeable. He encouraged me that I am going to get better and gave me different kinds of exercises. He knows what kind of movement I should do every week. The staff are nice also and collaborating with Rahil during my therapy session. Price wise they have so many options including OHIP card system. The place is very clean and spacious. Now I am in my last therapy session with extra bonus. Happy to come to this place.

I had a car accident this year and sustained neck and lower back injuries. Everyone here is so nice and professional. They took care of everything and made me feel comfortable with my recovery. They went above my expectations and now I can say my back and neck feel so much better than before. I also learn a lot about my body during this time. I want thank chang so much for all his help, he is such a fantastic therapist. Boris also helped me a lot to understand after my case is closed that I need to continue my homework and exercises to keep the injuries from coming back. Was a little nervous going to my first appointment, didn't really know what to expect. Amazing staff from the lady on the phone and front desk to the therapist Zev. Great experience, I look forward to my appointments.

Thank you Rahil and Lifemark for the exceptional physiotherapy care and attention you provided. After an acute injury to my thigh, I was practically immobile and in excruciating pain. However, after only six treatments and 33 days, I am now nearly fully recovered and can do everything I did before my injury. I attribute my recovery to Rahil who provided clear instructions in person, followed by an email that included a short video of each recommended exercise. Rahil was clear about what I should and not do beyond the recommended exercises and was very supportive at each stage of my healing process. Lifemark is an excellent facility with each person that I met welcoming and making appointments, receiving email reminders made the experience seamless. I cannot recommend Rahil and Lifemark strongly enough!

I had my physiotherapy treatments at St Clair&Bathurst Branch after a car accident. They did a great job and did all insurance transactions without any delay. Their COVID-19 protocol was excellent. You do not worry about your schedule because they send you a reminder email and SMS message as well in advance. Special thanks to Rahil, Behnaz and Chris to help me recovering my health soon. It is highly recommended.

COVID-19 protocol better in this facility than in the hospital or other public spaces. Assessed by my physiotherapist Chang to determine key problematic areas in terms of motion and mobility. Appropriate exercise program and therapy given. This is followed by regular supervised time in the gym with Roz to learn how to do those exercises correctly.

Highly professional trained staff whose skills and knowledge inspire confidence. Also affordable. I travel further to be treated by this team because their skills are that good. After only a few weeks of treatment I found my strength being restored gradually and my ability to cope with using stairs increased substantially. I have Osteo-arthritis in both knees and climbing stairs has been very difficult prior to treatment.

Back in 2012 after a serious distal radial fracture in my left arm, this team got me back to work in a short period of time. I had to be able to lift 40 pounds to do my job and they built me back up to that level. Now that I am ageing and experiencing severe mobility issues, I am exceedingly thankful to know them and to be able to utilize their services.

I have had many sports related injuries throughout the years, and have gone to countless numbers of physiotherapists. Lifemark Physiotherapy at Bathurst & St. Clair is one of the BEST! The knowledge, experience, efficiency and COVID 19 protocol has been exceptional. Chang-Hung has been and is my physiotherapist. Chang-Hung is also the Director of the Clinic and manages this location at a superior level.

Chang is professional, knowledgeable and confident in his treatment. He is friendly and shares his knowledge and answers questions willingly.

I have only good things to say about my experience at Lifemark, St. Clair and Bathurst. The clinic was well-run and very clean. The therapists there were very competent, friendly and non-judgemental. I first went there with some trepidation, but finished sessions feeling more confident of my abilities and more ‘ sure on my feet ‘.

I worked with Rahil for a year to rehabilitate my shoulder after a car accident. He was excellent and the facility was always accommodating with scheduling me and making me feel welcome. They worked well with my insurance company and all my expectations were met.

Lifemark is the best! I discovered them when moving into the area and I needed to find a physiotherapist for tendonitis in my rotator cuff. From January to march I worked with julie who is wonderful she is professional but also very personable. When the pandemic hit I was transferred to chang who I worked with virtually until the office was open again. It was great to receive treatment during this time even though it was virtual it helped a bunch. I continued working with chang once the office opened. He is truly amazing at being both a physiotherapist and the clinic director. He is very hard working helping me set up my appointments stress free and has made it very easy working with my insurance provider. I recently started working with rosslyn in the gym she is superb at her job she is helping me gain my strength back and the process to return back to work. The receptionist are all amazing always smiling and greeting everyone I really have no complaints. Over the past 6 months I've made significant progress at the clinic and will continue to go there and recommend others to this clinic at bathurst and st Clair.

Just before the lock-down, I was assessed and booked several appointments to start therapy.but the lock-down happened!: (A few weeks later I received a notice that on-line physiotherapy was available. It's been a really good experience. Thanks to Rosslyn and Rahil, I am improving, and looking forward to returning to my exercise routine.

He was very attentive and caring to my needs and was very patient with all my questions. I would recommend him to my family and friends.

I have been to many physio therapists over the years and none of them have been able to help me the way that Ali has. I get treated for my lower back and legs and the work we have done together has greatly lessened the pain and improved my overall quality of life.

A fantastic experience all around! The online forms were a breeze, and when I arrived they had all the necessary steps & precautions for COVID prevention in place. The receptionist was lovely, and the RMT who I saw was very knowledgeable - she walked me through everything she was doing & gave me additional stretches to do after. Best treatment received here for lower and upper back. Really helped me in my progress for health and wellbeing of my muscles. Chang is fantastic and does all he can to get the best results towards recovery. All staff are amazing and friendly.

Came here after post ORIF Talus surgery. I could barely walk at all, Chang took his time, listened to me, and set me up with a series of exercises. Within a couple of weeks I was actually starting to walk again, and the pain is nearly non-existent now. I highly recommend this place if you're in the market for Physiotherapy.

Chang and his staff have been amazing at helping me heal from several car accidents! Even now, over video chat Chang is able to help me feel better! I am looking forward to going back to in person treatments once it is safe to do so so I can hopefully heal completely! I don't know what I would do without all of you! Thank you for all that you do! I've been a patient of Lifemark for about one month now following hip replacement surgery, and the experience has been extremely positive. Mohammadrahil has been looking after me, providing my rehab exercises and he is amazing. He's very knowledgeable, takes the time to patiently explain and demonstrate the movements clearly, and he is really friendly!

I was there last month with my mom for her ankle injury and was given top notch care by the staff. Chang was thorough and detailed with his explanation and treatment while Noah in the gym was a pleasure to work with as he guided my mom with all her exercises.
Highly recommended!

I am very happy with the service I got in this clinic and especially from Dr. Ali (Dr. Alireza Saeedi). He is a great, knowledgeable and professional physiotherapist. Helped me with 8 sessions and I recovered very well. He is a very nice person, friendly, and constantly looking for new methodes. He would search and give me specific exercises each session for me.
The staff are very polite and patient as well. Had a language barrier problem and their receiptionist helped me patiently and nicely.
I definitely, would gp there and seek for Ali again. Totally recommended.

I went into Lifemark barely able to walk and came out a months and a half later without any pain. The team, especially Alireza are incredibly capable and hand-on.

I’ve had several injuries and visited many clinics to alleviate and resolve my distress and suffering. Though many therapists have done their best to aid me, no others compare to the service provided for me at this Lifemark location.

I received excellent care and prompt attention relative to my injury- Mr Chan is an able and knowledgeable Physiotherapist who patiently helped to restore mobility of my injured shoulder and decrease the pain.
The staff as a whole are experienced and well-trained. And kind. I truly had a positive experience at this patient-friendly Physiotherapy Clinic, and wont hesitate to recommend it.

I had ankle surgery and was in a bed for 2 months. After that, I came into Lifemark in a wheelchair. Within one month I was able to walk unassisted. Everyone at Lifemark is very thoughtful and professional. It is thanks to their expertise and helpful nature that I am walking today. Ljubica
