Good food but arrived cold and terrible service: (Unfortunate because I was really looking forward to trying this place out and was disappointed

Popular brunch/lunch cafe that serves up unique brunch plates and a wide variety of drinks.

Walked in for lunch, cafe was full of patrons. You write your name and phone number on the paper waitlist.

We ordered the Pulled Pork Brunch plate with tofu fries. It tasted good and easily shareable dish. Sukiyaki beef pasta was amazing. The Rose Iron tea and Creme Brulee coffee also tasted hot and great.

Cafe was clean, decor was contemporary. Background music was a bit loud.

Servers were good. However, service was slow as they prioritized delivery/takeout orders over dine in.

Also, your clothes may smell like kitchen grease as they have an open kitchen.

It feels like there are a lot of students because it's located near the University of Toronto. Went for lunch on a weekday and waited about 15 minutes. When you go inside, there is a paper for waiting.

The food is very delicious! I had the brunch menu, and the portion was huge. If a couple comes, it might be a good idea to order one brunch menu item and one sandwich to share. I placed my order by scanning the QR code attached to the desk. You can also choose how to cook the eggs and how to cook the potatoes (?).

There are no pictures of the menu on Google, but if you go to the online ordering window on the website, there are pictures for reference.

Definitely one of the better brunch places I’ve been to in a while. Food was great, coffee was pretty good too. Waitresses were nice.
Ordered the lobster croissant brunch combo which was really yum, presentation was pretty my favourite part was it came with a bit of everything.

The food was alright, not the best options for people who are vegetarian or vegan. On the pricier side of brunch places but the portions are decently sized. The food can be very very slow, and the system isn't really set up well for being able to communicate properly with the staff, as it's all done with phones. Overall it's an interesting experience but I probably wouldn't come back.

Light cafe is amazing! We love the food, wonderful staff, and quick service. They have a really good variety of options, definitely recommend the sandwiches, waffle fries, and mini pancakes! The staff is always so kind and amazing service. Prices are also very reasonable. Overall definitely one of the top places around for a comfort meal and good time.

We ordered two main dishes, pork katsu sandwich and mushroom pasta, spaghetti was OK, nothing special about it but the pork katsu can be improved, it would be good if they put less sauce or mayo (just my personal preference) it was too saucy and make the bread soggy. The creme brulle coffee was good. The food price was reasonable. I think overall experience was good. I'll be back to try their dessert next time.

The Swiss Roll & Chiffon Uji Matcha Roll combo stole the show, but the Classic Buttermilk Mini Pancakes took it to the next level—25 mini pancakes loaded with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, vanilla ice cream, and maple syrup.

The Light Cafe Breakfast Sandwich was a breakfast dream come true. Hash browns, breakfast sausages, fried egg, tomato, lettuce, red cabbage, cheddar cheese, mayo, ketchup, all sandwiched between perfectly toasted bread. Choose between a side salad or waffle fries—both equally tasty!

Ordered Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich with Waffle Fries! The chicken was raw! Absolutely disgusting and health hazard!

The food did not disappoint and the portions were perfect! Ordered the roasted mushrooms croissant Brunch! Also the eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked! And Tater Tots!

The breakfast is really nice and the restaurant looks really good! Thank you and next time will definitely come back again:)

A nice, clean minimalistic Taiwanese Café serving delicious Latté and taiwanese snacks!
Vegetarian options available.

The tofu fries and Latté were presented nicely, and tasted heavenly
Service was also friendly and fun!
The waitress had a nice smile on. Positive vibes all the way!

Such beautiful cafe, and welcoming staff. It was a really great experience at this cute feel-good cafe.

Good brunch spot with a presentation that you will definitely remember. A 3.5.

The main attraction is their huge brunch platters which include your choice meat in a croissant, bacon/sausage, eggs and the fluffiest tiny pancakes you’ll have. The dish is tasty and filling and very much worth the money. I tried the beef option and it was definitely good.

The place gets busy and you would have to put your name down for a table. But the wait isn’t too long and luckily there are 2 cute coffee shops on either side of it.

I wasn’t too sure about the vibe of the place too much. It seemed like it lacked a cohesive identity.

Please go here. The food was so good, and the servers were so kind and welcoming. I recommend the big brunch plate, as it has protein, veggies, and a croissant (which was so buttery and flaky). It was also kinda busy on a random Monday morning, and we got there at like 11am. Luckily didn't have to wait for a seat.

They also mentioned to us that if it's busy, they would have a 1 (or was it 2? I forgot) hour seating limit, but if it's not busy, we can stay for however long we want. We ended up sitting for maybe 2 hours, and they never asked us to leave. I noticed some people sit there to do work, so this could be a study spot as well, but it gets quite noisy so I wouldn't suggest that. Otherwise this place has such good food. I definitely need to come back and try more

The environment is a bit bad and the lights are dim. The mini pancake is delicious and the tea is also good and can be refilled.

Probably the best brunch I’ve ever had. Get the lobster brunch it’s delicious. The strawberry au lait was delicious too.
