If you are ever in the area, drop by our favorite lil' family run restaurant. They used to be the Goulash House (Newmarket) and have moved to this location. Same amazing food, service, and hospitality.just a lil' smaller.

Too many things to mention, basically everythin I got was horrible.
They are not professional cooks and no Idea about cooking.

Here for the first time with my son, everything was beyond perfect. My son had the beef goulash and he loved it, he said he will never eat my home made again.i had the chicken Paprikash which brought me back to the days that my mom made it for me.i was very impressed with the quality and portion size for our dinner. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This is one of the best Hungarian restaurants that I have been to.brought back so many good memories that I had with my parents. This will be my family's go to restaurant from now on. I salute the staff and ownership team

Lovely staff, huge portions. Eastern Eurpoean gem! I will definitely return! Loved the veg option and the strudel looks delicious and the chimney pastry too! Yummy dumplings and large salad.

The food was amazing just like when it was the goulash house before. They have created a very nice place to dine-in as well.

We’ve been waiting to try Lil’ Schnitzel for a while now, we weren’t disappointed. We had the chicken and pork schnitzel dinners, one with fries (nicely seasoned and crispy) and one with spaetzel and cabbage. I personally didn’t like the cabbage as it was spiced but everything else was great including the mushroom sauce, and the size of the schnitzel was huge! While we were there, the restaurant was a bit chilly and patrons had their coats on. I mentioned this to the waitress and she immediately closed the inner vestibule door and the owner turned up the heat. We were comfortable in no time. All in all a very good experience.

I was impressed with this place, clean & comfortable inside, food was delicious & the owner/host was absolutely lovely. Both me & my husband went on a whim, hungry but not starving didn’t know what we wanted but curious to try somewhere new, both got pork schnitzel each & the plates are FULL we had to take some home (make sure you go hungry lol), you get a lot of food for a good price, next time we’re hungry & in the area we definitely want to go back & try more off ther menu. Highly recommend.

All homemade fresh everyday Hungarian food. Very generous portions. Friendly owners and staff. Small space, but 5 comfortably spaced tables give plenty of room for dining in.

Super yummy just extremely extremely slow service. I waited 30 minutes watching everyone else get their food before I got mine. Was in a rush too and was not happy.

Edit: the review below is for Goulash House when they were in Newmarket. This location has since closed and they have changed the name to Lil' Schnitzel and moved to Bradford.we have been to that location and while the experience is nowhere close to the old location, the food remains too notch.

My wife and I showed up without a reservation and the only spot available was at the bar, which is in behind the seating area you see from the street. The main seating area was packed, which is always a good sign.

We ordered at the bar and the food came fairly quickly. I had wiener schnitzel and my wife had jagerschnitzel. It was honestly the best I have ever had. Even the potatoes were amazing.

The staff were all friendly and talkative. Several people wished us well as we made our way back to the front of the restaurant when leaving.

We will be going back for sure and will actually try to get another spot at the back by the bar as it was cosey and fun at the same time.

Great food. Just a terrible place to do business with. Ordered food, it came exactly as expected. But I was over charged heavily. When I went back to give them the avenue of correction, after explaining the order i received via the items I received, the bald male kept saying "that's ok". I really didn't want Lil Cesar's tonight.

$46.37 is what I was charged for a schnitzel and and a goulash. I went in there asking if something was missed off the order. I was ordained with the holy blessing of customer service within my experience. They didn't even entertain the idea that the younger blond woman, or expo may have messed up my order. These people are toxic for customer service.

I was devastated when Goulash House closed in Newmarket but so relieved to see the same owners re-open in Bradford. Same great food. Absolutely best Hungarian food I have had, huge portion size and friendly service.

Wow this place is awesome. If your hungry this is the place to eat. Had the chicken schnitzel with house potatoes and sauercrout then had dessert. Apricot crepe. Delicious food and the staff are great. Helpful with explaining what are the different foods.
