They are QUICK. I really didn’t think it was 24 hour service but originally our furnace stopped on a Saturday night and they were at my house mid day Sunday for no extra Sunday costs. We’ve had a couple different things go wrong with the furnace and all 3 techs we have had (Bryan, Miguel and Saleem) were great.

Had a heat pump system installed in our home. We wanted a 3 head unit, we were told by their service technician/salesman that 2 was more enough for our home. 15,000$ for a 2 head 1.5 ton system. Our house was cold, temperature outside only -4degC and we had to have sweaters and slippers on to be warm and use our baseboard heaters. The company has a guarantee that the thermostat will be within 2degrees of the setting, or they will make it right “no hastle”, no “loopholes”, but the dining room which; the unit was in was 3degreesC lower and the room down the hall was 8degreesC lower. We tried to talk with our salesman and other customer service representatives and we were told a technician would be coming out for a 6 hour appointment to “make it right”. My husband took a day off work and the service technician checked the unit and said it was working properly and there was nothing more he could do and that it must have been a miscommunication and left after 20 minutes. After another 2 weeks of back and forth we were quoted another 9000$ to have a third heat pump installed. Putting the heating system at almost 25,000$ plus tax for a 3 head unit. Meanwhile our next door neighbours had one installed by the exact company for 17,000$. (Which we referred them to, and never received our $100 referral fee like we were promised.) We understand that having a third head installed would not be free and we would have negotiated the cost but $9000 was just too much in our opinion after already spending $15000 and not being satisfied. They called my husband at 9: 00pm this Sunday to tell him they wouldn’t compromise and they want to come remove our heat pumps within the week, “asap”. Least to say we are pretty unhappy with the service we’ve been provided and their “Guarantee”.

Blair was very professional, was able to help out with our faulty thermostat. He provided us with a brand new replacement on the spot. Everything is working great again.

I had several quotes and not only were they quick to get back to me but they listened to what we were interested in and worked with us. HVAC is a big investment and Comfort Masters made it easy. The installers were professional, and went above and beyond to make this project happen.

UPDATE: had a problem with a conductor in the unit (buzzing like crazy), one of their fantastic technicians (Blair) came over and sorted us out at no charge. Very friendly and professional service!

Bob was very congenial to work with. A new thermostat was required before the maintenance could be done. He did a good job for us.

Our thanks to Jordan and Brad, they did a fantastic job with the installation of our new AC/Heat Pump unit. Wonderful work ethics made sure the job was completed and working. After installing the new unit there was a problem and it would not work. After checking everything and troubleshooting they found a faulty thermostat and had to change it out. After that everything was working fantastically. We are so happy Jordan was able to figure out the problem which was from a previous installation of a new furnace system that was installed from another company approximately a year and a half ago. That company installed a faulty thermostat and could not figure out how to get the heat pump working so they bypassed the heat pump at the thermostat without telling us about this issue leaving us to believe that our new furnace was installed properly which it wasn't leaving us with high Hydro bills for the past year and a half. Luckily Jordan was able to figure out the problem tracing it back to a faulty thermostat and installed a new thermostat to go with the installation of the new AC/Heat pump unit and we now have a fantastic new AC/Heat pump that works as it should. This is a man who knows how to do his job well and provides the care and customer service and respect that is appreciated in a time where customer service doesn't seem to matter or exist with most companies anymore. Jordan made sure the job was done correctly and could have packed it in and bypassed the problem like the previous companies installer did but instead spent an extra grueling 2 hours taking the time to figure out why the unit wasn't functioning properly and making sure the job was done right and everything was working properly before leaving. We are so thankful that we had Jordan as our installer whom went above and beyond, just an overall wonderful experience brought to us from a knowledgeable person who cares and has pride in his work! The installation is top notch and we have to praise the installers as they did a wonderful job, were ver professional and we appreciated their attention to details.

The diagnostic meeting does not tell you much about the problem and they do not provide repair options or quotes during the diagnostic visit

Service is very good unfortunately the defect part ordered was not the right one so they have to come back.

They came back and fixed my problem. Actually exchanged the unit at no cost.
The attitude of the personnel who came was excellent and friendly.
I would definitely recommend them.

They called us yesterday to say they could come this morning. Someone came to look at the unit and they are going to be providing us with a quote for a new AC sometime this week. We appreciate that they got in touch with us and were able to come by. Thank you.

My husband called yesterday to see if someone could come to look at our air conditioning unit that had stopped working. Luckily, they were able to book us in, to have someone come take a look at it today. Well, we've waited all day, past the time frame that they said they'd be here, and when my husband called, they said that they had no record of our appointment, or even him calling and speaking to someone. He literally redialed the number that he called when he spoke with them yesterday, so we know he didn't call the wrong number. Have to say, we are really disappointed. Our home has become quite hot and we have a baby that we worry about in the heat. They said they would be able to come about two weeks from now, but I guess we will be taking our business elsewhere. I would not recommend this business, as I do not find them to be very professional.

From the time I spoke with Brian to the time my new A/C unit was installed was LESS THAN 24 HOURS. Amazing service. Happy enough with the value received. Thanks!

My wife and I were very pleased with the professionalism exhibited by Comfort Masters from the initial consultation with Rich. He told us all our different options and at no time did he try to up sell us. The two young lads they sent to do the install were polite and were experienced well above their youthfulness. Turn around time from start to finish was two days. Excellent customer service. We would not hesitate to have this company do other installs in the future.

We had them install new furnace and tankless water heater. They came on time.actually early. Did a professional job, cleaned up after and did follow up. Would definitely recommend for your heating needs.

Oshawa Comfort Masters Ltd.installed a new LENNOX EL296UHV in my home November 2020 with extended warranty. We had our YORK air conditioner turned "on" during a power outage in our neighbourhood. The power went out for a split second but it turned "off" the Fan on the LENNOX. The HVAC technician reset the furnace it's back up and running. We learned the location of the "on" and "off" for our LENNOX. Small fix but Good to know.

Dealing with them have been a nightmare since day 1.

I bought furnace, AC, thermostat and humidifier from this company.

1. They installed the AC unit at the wrong spot. The owner offered 3 years free maintenance contract. Luckily I insisted him to email me as proof. The next year they were about to charge me for maintenance. I told them that I was offered free maintenance and the receptionist said she does not have it in their record. I had to emailed them the email to prove it.

2. Wrong set up to the humidifier hence water constantly running for months even when the furnace was turned off. My water went higher than normal. When I made a complain after finally found the source of the problem, I still did NOT get an apology or compensation.

3. The 2 receptionists promised me to call me back but never did, even after multiple follow ups.

Although the technician were polite, I would like to share my honest experience.

P. S:// I received a call from Steven (Customer Service Manager from Comfort Masters) after leaving this review. He was gracious to apology for my experience and provided me an explanation about the water leakage. I am thankful for this call and got my closure.

Seamless from beginning to end. Options for different furnaces presented for the size of our house. Showed up on time, completed job in time specified and left the place clean. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you!

Blair made some minor changes to our furnace settings and was very clear on what he did and why he did them. I would highly recommend Blair and Comfort Masters for furnace maintenance.

Blair was fantastic. It was routine call to clean the furnace. He went over and above, set of the furnace to warm the house faster and reset the humidifier to cover the entire house. Thanks so much Blair!
