Makenzie is a wonderful leasing agent, and the rest of the team has been just as lovely, we just moved in; our kids are excited about their new home and we can’t wait to get everything sorted and decorated. Thank you again, and we look forward to the next few years with this team as we don’t intend on moving again unless it’s to our first purchased home. (It’s exhausting)

In today's extremely competitive rental market limestone property management is the answer. They are extremely responsive (unlike other rental firms in kingston). They made our application process a cake walk.

Highly recommend.

My partner and I have been renting with Limestone since 2020 and I’ve truly loved my experience the entire time. Every interaction with the company (whether it’s maintenance, office staff/admin, or our property managers themselves) has been incredibly polite, kind, and helpful. They’re very quick to respond to questions or concerns and truly make us feel valued and supported as renters. This has not been our experience with anyone else in Kingston so we feel very lucky and appreciative. 10/10 cannot recommend enough!

Miscommunications and improperly shared data between the previous owner and the new management, I.e. Limestone, made for a bit of a painful and expensive move out. However, lime stone management called me to resolve the issue and that helped a lot. Otherwise, had no issues.

We had a great experience with service calls and questions being answered by the lovely ladies on the front desk, but unfortunately I cannot give a 5 star because the leasing manager we dealt with for the move in and move out experiences lacked in professionalism.
I attempted to get in contact with her on several occasions within the last 2 months of our tenancy and it took days to weeks to get a response if I got one at all.

After we did our walk through for moving out I was instructed by her to email her regarding our key deposit refund. I understand that we moved out the day before a long weekend so when I emailed her on Thursday (the day we moved out) I knew I wouldn’t hear back until probably Tuesday. When I didn’t hear from her I emailed her again and on Tuesday and still received no answer. I called the office Thursday to get ahold of her over the phone. She couldn’t take my call and when I voiced my frustration to the lady at the front desk, it was obviously this was not the first time the lady had heard of a complaint about this specific employee’s lack of responding to tenants.

Under recommendation I emailed the leasing manager one last time and CC’d her boss on it explaining I hadn’t heard from her in a week and grew frustrated. Her boss was off until today and FINALLY I heard back from the leasing manager today.

It should not have taken a week and a half to have a simple response saying our key deposit refund was submitted and that we had no damage to the unit and won’t be charged for anything.

I really did love the place I rented and the leasing manager was pleasant to deal with when we could reach her but the past few months have left a bitter taste in my mouth when it comes to renting a property from limestone because this is obviously not an uncommon issue and should not be continuously happening.

The staff at LPM were very helpful in finding a place for my fiance and I! Claire gave me a call after I showed some interest and asked what area in Kingston we were looking for, how many parking spaces, move in date etc.and gave us lots of options to look at. I viewed a place with Claire and she was very open to answering any questions. Shasta was also very helpful when she called us about the unit and was very flexible with our needs and answered all emails very quickly. Overall it was a great experience with the leasing team and we are very much looking forward to moving in in September 2022!

Making big life transitions is difficult to say the least.but Claire at Limestone Property Management made those steps significantly easier. She was attentive, compassionate, listened to my needs, and ensured I found the perfect place to start over. She was quick to respond, easy going in person, and just an over all joy to deal with. I would HIGHLY recommend her as she was exceedingly professional, but did not lose that human connection during the process.

I also had the pleasure of dealing with Shasta, who handled all the 'paperwork and legal' side of things. She was lovely to work with and provided me the information I needed quickly.

Both of these ladies were absolutely fantastic and are a huge asset to Limestone Property Management.

Excellent company. Always prompt to respond when any urgent issues have come up (e.g. We had a sump pump burst and was spraying all over the backyard - they had service here within the hour and handled the issue well and efficiently). They are always quick to return non-urgent calls as well, and are very kind and understanding in their approach. We have been with Limestone for over 3 years now and yet to have a problem! They also work very well with the home owner from what I’ve observed, and the home owner herself is also fantastic.

They are a highly professional team, who has an ideal solution for any housing and management need. When dealing with the Landlord and Tenant board Tribunals, you can be at ease knowing you have an experienced team doing everything possible. Their systems in place make for a seamless job overall. I hired Limestone to manage a rental property of mine. They quickly vetted and secured the best tenants I’ve had to date. All calls and inquiries are answered promptly, and the staff couldn’t be nicer! 11/10. Highly recommend.

Tried multiple times to reach someone. When we did get someone they say there person is showing a place that they would message them to get back to us still no response get a email to fill out info did then no response again! I understand the market is busy but the houses my family where interested in are still available could have had a renter but no response!

We recently rented a unit from Limestone after moving to Kingston for work. We viewed several units with other companies and immediately felt that Limestone had our best interest at heart. They found us the perfect house and arranged for a quick move in.
So far, the house is great and the help and communication from Limestone has been beyond what we expected.

We have been cheated by this company. We are the tenants. Only their services favors to landlords are highly recognized by them but opposite to the tenants like us came from overseas.
The property we rented never was advertised and said as shared property by the limestone management but in the lease it was listed as shared and gave permission to the landlords access to it. Our mistake to sign and initialed not looking closely about the shared property and landlords’ access to it. We just trusted this company but not at all now. They also put responsibility on landlords when we contacted them to resolve the issues and take a legal action.

I strongly disagree with your response in many things.
Was it proper way of business you have conducted? We have even deposited one month rent per your request before we saw the lease. Everything’s were discussed formally except “shared property”. How many people expect to see those in the lease which was the most primary thing in leasing process if they were not advertised and formally introduced?

There were a couple of landlords in Kingston that we have worked previously, they all asked about storage areas they wanted to leave few things in the properties first time we contacted. Prices were negotiated fairly based on spaces they notified us to use with specific duration of the lease. It was also specified that landlords notified the tenants 24 hrs prior to access to their helpings stored in basement etc, Our rental price was fair market value for the sole property not as a shared property.

You blamed your previous employee who managed this property and no longer work there. When I mentioned about T2, You advised me to file claim against landlord not you because it’s landlords’ responsibility. After I researched and consulted with subject matter experts, it was mainly your responsibility to introduce what was said on advertisement you posted to attract potential tenants, it was your responsibility to explain about shared property condition. You said you don’t normally post “shared property “ in your advertisement. Why not? You were not able to explain what was requested by the landlord and what has been done by your employee. Yes we had opportunity to review the lease. What would you do when you lease the car, your dealer showed up at your door and said the agreement stated they can come and use the car anytime they need but it wasn’t ever said to you before and you were not realized it? We waited until our initial 2 yrs lease ended. We made a conversation with the landlords. Nothing has done in favor for us. This situation all caused from your unprofessional business practice. Unfair market value of the listing price with lacking of property description as Shared one, access to the landlords and their friends, families. Why hide property description which is less attractive to the potential tenants then include in the lease when we were not aware of those important conditions? It was our fault at the end but it was error shouldn’t have happened with a company which is locally sourced. Only thing you should have done is to tell the clients every detail information about the property when there is any potential tenants contacted and show interested in the property. Is it too difficult to dd it?

This company follows unfair business practices. They would ask for rental deposit without signing or even showing the lease terms or agreement to the prospective tenants. They start writing agreement once they receive the deposit which means the tenant can not back off from the agreeement as their deposit is held up. A tenant would be forced to sign into an agreement or risk losing their deposit.
