I had nano brows done here and they have turned out perfect, even better than I expected! I have a scar on my eyebrow and they were able to cover it perfectly. I love how committed Lina and the team are to producing natural-looking brows. They took their time to ensure they fit my face and look natural. No one can tell that I’ve actually tattooed my brows, but I am getting compliments on how nice they look! And the healing process was so easy, I barely noticed. I highly highly recommend and have been telling all of my friends!

Absolutely incredible place. Hadn't had my eyebrows shaped in more than five Years. I was traumatized by past experiences and couldn't trust any professional with them. May gave my brows their life back, I cannot believe how my face looks so much better and my look so much more defined. Really, really happy with the results and that I finally found someone I can trust!

I never leave bad reviews but their customer service is terrible and the results of my microbladding was not worth it. The colour faded very quickly (weeks) and I followed all procedures both times. Was told I had to pay more for a third visit. No thanks - it didn’t work the first two times, what makes me think you’re using some cheap henna dye. Go somewhere else for microbladding if you want results that last! I also did NOT end up going on a hike, they keep bringing that up, like that’s the reason.
Please invest in skilled artists who do this full time. Not using this as a party time side gig like Kim.

Kim was my amazing artist. Micro blading is very new to me and my sister in law helped me book my appointment and recommended Lina Tran Studios. Kim was so kind helpful and caring. I wanted to keep a very natural look and Kim nailed it. I haven’t looked or felt this confident in years. From start to finish I felt comfortable and in trusted hands. Had a great partial balayage appointment with Yena here! She listened to my hair goals and I brought lots of pictures and she suggested ideas to blend in the right colour to make the grow out seamless on my curly hair. Loved the end result of the colour and the cut.

Lina is the best! I've been getting my brows done by her since she was in a subterranean room in another salon in the Ave/Dav neighbourhood, where I could easily walk to. She's thorough and most of all, a kind and good person. Congrats on the new edition, Lina!

Lina was referred to me by one of my trusted estheticians years ago to get my eyebrows microbladed. I was not let down by the referral. Lina from my very first session with her was patient and clearly explained her process. Her technique is impeccable because I love my microbladed brows. Natural looking with very little redness and recovery time. I made the drive from Niagara for my touch-ups… it’s worth the trip! My mom and I have been visiting for the last years.

I had a great experience with Lina for nano brows. She was very professional and explained the procedure so I know what to expect. She is a good conversationalist and kept me entertained throughout the procedure. I love the brows and they look so natural.

After nearly five years of considering microblading my eyebrows, I knew I wanted to do it and started my research for the perfect artist. I read hundreds if not thousands of reviews online, but honestly went with a trusted referral from a friend who had first hand experience from Lina Tran Studio. I am so thankful for that referral as I couldn’t be happier with the results. Lina was absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable. She spoke about the shape of my brow bones, where my hair naturally grew and set clear expectations form the start. I remember her explaining why she follows the form of my face rather than just drawing on what I think I want: “brow styles go in and out of fashion, but your face is your face”. I loved that. I knew I would be getting something that was going to look natural and be happy with for years to come. We decided to go with nano brows as I had quite a bit of real estate to cover and you would never be able to tell they’re not my own! Absolutely flawless execution. The studio followed up with me a few times to ensure I had all my aftercare questions answered, that I was healing well and to just check in to make sure I was happy with the service. FIVE stars! Got my hair done by Yena with full head highlights and cut. She did such an amazing job and gave me lots of great advice for after care. She was super nice and fun to chat with. Went to Lina after having a terrible experience having my hair bleached/destroyed at a different salon. I’d had a minor colour correction in the meantime, but it was no where near the level of blonde I had been going for. Lina was able to give me the ashy blonde I wanted without causing more damage to my hair, which was absolutely amazing. Her knowledge and confidence in her craft is really complimented by her artistic ability and the results we’ve achieved with my hair colour/cuts have exceeded my expectations. It’s been a lot of fun to have a stylist whose opinion and skill I can trust wholeheartedly. The salon is also a really beautiful space to be in and all of the staff are very welcoming. I have been getting my microblading done with Lina for years and just recently went back for a touch up. The last time I went for a touch up, it was outside of the recommended timeframe (due to COVID) however, I found that the colour lasted longer. I continue to get compliments on my eyebrows in terms of how natural they look and it's so nice to remove the use of an eyebrow pencil from my daily routine. Further, Lina keeps on top of the latest trends and sends emails leading up to and after the treatment to advise on before and after care which is important. I would highly recommend.

I had been considering micro-blading for some time and so when places were to open again I called Lina Tran and was put on a waiting list. I booked my initial consultation and met Dawn.
I clicked with her immediately. She explained everything in detail and I was convinced.
I went on another waiting list to have my brows and liner done.
So my first visit was early January and I just went back for the follow up and touch up.
I am elated. I was not/ am not disappointed whatsoever.
I highly recommend Dawn, and the beautiful Salon that is Lina Tran.

I had microblading done with Lina back in 2018 and loved the result! I went back for a touch up yesterday. Although it has been 4 years (yes, the revisit was long overdue because of COVID), the colour held up quite nicely. The touch up looks amazing and oh so natural! Highly recommended!

Dawn was amazing. Totally entrusted her to make my brows beautiful and she did just that! Was very nervous before the microblading appointment but she was very thorough at explaining the procedure and what to expect and she took her time and did an excellent job! No issues with any reaction to the products and healing has been great so far. Cannot wait till 10 days post procedure to see how they will look but day 2 they look fabulous!

This is the place to go for Microblading! Dawn was very detailed when mapping out my brows and answered every question I had. She takes the time to get to know you and exactly what you hope to achieve. The entire process was comfortable and the aftercare was explained in detail. I booked a consultation for nanoblading and was so pleased with the consult that I also decided to book a lashline tattoo. All of the staff treated me like a queen - they wanted to ensure that the entire process was seamless. The staff are very professional and experts in their fields. Dawn did the nanoblading and was as particular as I am! Caitlin suggested I do the lashline tattoo and I'm very happy that she did. Having both of these services done emphasized my eyes - I am thrilled with the results. I continue to get compliments and always refer them to this studio. Thanks again for my 'new eyes'.

I cannot recommend Lina enough! I got nanoblading done with her and I am so, so happy with both the results and the experience. My eyebrows look great and, most importantly, they look natural and are perfectly suited to my face! It's as if these were the eyebrows I was always meant to have! In terms of the process, both Lina and the studio as a whole are very professional, clean, and friendly. The studio does a really great job ensuring that you have all the information you need throughout the consultation process, the nanoblading itself, and the aftercare process. After my eyebrow experience, I would also go to this studio for any of their other services, they clearly know what they are doing and have a passion for their work!

I almost never leave bad reviews. This case is very different. The absence of professionalism and deceptive practices are akin to blatant thievery.

I booked Microblading and lip blushing with Dawn after an initial consultation with her. I ultimately decided to proceed with LTS and Dawn because of the reviews. Dawn was generally friendly and helpful.

At my first appointment, Dawn showed up just over 20 minutes late. Beyond this and overall, Dawn was fine and I wouldn’t have mentioned this if the proceeding events had not occurred.

If you’re getting Microblading, lip blushing, or any other type of PMU you know that it is a two-step process. What this means is that two sessions are required to get the full and complete results paid for.

During my first session, I explicitly told Dawn that I didn’t notice a difference in my eyebrows. Dawn responded that the second session was for filling them in more. She also said that there would be areas on my lips that would need to be properly filled in.

After the 8 week healing phase the necessity of the follow-up appointment became abundantly clear to me, especially on my lips.

My second follow-up appointment was scheduled for May 10. My understanding was that the appointment was scheduled for 12: 30, however it turns out that it was scheduled for 12. Entirely my fault - I recognize this.

At 12: 20 I received a call from the salon informing me that I was late and that Dawn didn’t think it was “fair” for her to rush the appointment so we’d need to reschedule. I apologized about the mix-up and sincerely accepted that it was my fault. The receptionist went on to tell me that there were no appointments available in May and that I would need to come back on June 2nd.

I was upset that I drove 45 minutes to get there but I recognized that this was entirely my fault. So, I accepted and again apologized. But then, the receptionist explained that because this was outside of my “touch up window” I would have to pay again.

This wasn’t a “late fee” or “no-show” penalty. It was a full blown request to repay for my services. I couldn’t believe it! For being 5 minutes past the grace window, I would have to not only wait nearly one month but also pay again. I expressed my frustration and hung up.

I should note that my initial appointment on March 10 and the date proposed, June 2, are exactly 12 weeks apart, which is within the “follow-up window” cited on the LTS website.

I should also note that LTS knows that almost all other salons will NOT perform a follow-up on services they didn’t perform. Knowing the lack of options available to customers, their demand to pay again for services I needed to complete the works done and paid for is effectively extortion.

In their policy, LTS refers to the follow-up session as a “complimentary” session included in the price of the procedures but which cannot, under any circumstances, be rescheduled or scheduled past the “follow-up window. ”

This definition and unreasonable restriction on customers attempts to conceal the necessity of the follow-up to give full affect to the services paid for. Unlike other salons which clearly break down the total price of procedures as follows: deposit, initial session, follow-up, LTS attempts to rob its customers by charging same or similar fees as those other salons in lump sum, and disguising the necessary and required follow-up session as “complimentary. ” There is nothing complimentary about a service required to complete the results I am paying for - without which the service paid for is effectively incomplete.

The lack of transparency with regard to the purpose and necessity of the follow-up session, and LTS’ blatant attempt to mislead customers by disguising and treating the follow-up as “complimentary” is unconscionable.

Update: Dear Lina, thank you for this “resolution. ” I provided honest feedback and review. You might want to consider honesty in your responses and in running your business.

I am amazed at what Lina can do with someone who has virtually no eyebrows. Even though I penciled in my brows (which took at least 15 minutes every morning) I was still aware they didn't look natural. Then I took a chance on Lina Tran about 3 years ago, and my gosh I was blown away! I've had 2 touchups - the last was just this week, and they look absolutely fabulous! I never worry about my brows. It's hard to believe how much confidence eyebrows can give a person and with Lina's expert touch, no one can tell they're not real. Thank you Lina. Donna Nadeau

This sleek studio welcomes you with warm staff and unpretentious artistry. Dawn made me feel so comfortable as she took me through the steps of microblading to ensure that my comfort came first. The end result was impressive after a week of healing. This week I went back for balayage. My hair is super long and thick which took several hours to complete, but the comfort of the studio and Yena’s personable conversation made the experience shorter than the wait. Plus, I took a nap without hesitation. I’m going back for all their services! It only took me 10 years to finally find a one stopper.

I had my brows done by Lina and waited almost a YEAR for her! It was worth the wait! Being a guy, I was concerned about it looking natural and the results showed. I've also had my haircut and lash line done with her staff and I can truly say I am extremely happy with the results and service from start to finish. Lina is such a professional women. She brings her A game every time I see her. I have gotten my eyebrows done, my eyeliner and frequently get my hair done. I go into Lina salon with an open mind and have Lina do what she does best! When I first went to see Lina I had black hair and she was able to transform my hair to look like Elsa for my wedding.
