Linguine's Italian Restaurant

This place looks like someone just quit trying about two decades ago.
Atmosphere is tired and dingey and food is uninspired and lacks freshness. Heavy garlic and sauces mask any and all flavours the food you are eating should taste like.
Nothing authentic about the menu unless you are comparing to what you find in the freezer section at your local supermarket.
Spend your hard earned money at an establishment that actually has pride in how their business looks and how the food on the customer’s plate tastes.

A lovely relaxing atmosphere with great service and a very good menu. We enjoyed thoroughly.

Linguine's has been our "Go To" restaurant for celebrating occasions for several years We knew it would always be a wonderful experience. Until last night, which began with seating placement. We were seated in a space far too small to accommodate us. Thankfully the server for the table behind us came several minutes after placing their orders with kitchen and offered to move us. When she came I told her I couldn't sit there and she said she knew, it was a terrible placement and promptly offered us a different table in a more suitable location where my feet weren't wrapped around the table legs!
Our dinners also seemed to be lacking vs what we were used to. No idea why, but just not the same taste or quality we have come to look forward to. Maybe there has been a change in kitchen staff in the 6 months since our last visit?
Our server Danielle was a shining star in this otherwise unremarkable experience.
Sadly we'll be looking for a new " Go To" restaurant.

Good food, service was excellent. Atmosphere could use a bit of an update, but otherwise nice place to go in Belleville.

We had supper at Linguine’s Italian Restaurant in Belleville, ON yesterday, August 2,2022. What a great idea! The service was impeccable, and what to say about our meal, it was delicious, nothing to complain about, so good that we will return as soon as we have the opportunity. In addition, the owner came to our table to check if everything was okay even if our waitress took care of it. Go ahead, you’ll see and you’ll go back. Denis et Claude de Québec.

Everything.was.amazing! The host and waitress were very nice and polite. The food was amazing best shrimp mushroom cap I've ever had. Over all we had a fantastic experience. A great place to have our 10 year anniversary.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express next door. The hotel suggested this restaurant. The decor is outdated and it needs a make over although the food and service was excellent! I recommend if your looking for a good Italian restaurant in Belleville.

Celebrated my dad’s 89th birthday. My mom is 91. First off, nobody told us the specials (we would have had that). Forty-five minutes after ordering we got a salad and were told that they don’t have the soup my dad ordered. But, they could make the soup if we wanted to wait 20 minutes (Christ man we already waited 45 minutes… couldn’t you have made the soup by now?). Seventy-five minutes later, we talked to the manager and he said “I’m sorry” and they began bringing out bread sticks to bribe us to be “happy”. Ninety minutes later, as I’m writing this, we still haven’t received our food. This place is not that good that it’s worth putting your aged parents through this! Literally they shouldn’t be in business with very very very poor customer service. If I ran my business like this I’d have to give away half my services just out of embarrassment and for respect and courtesy for people’s time. As an update, it’s now 100 minutes and still no entree. There’s something seriously wrong with this place!

P. S.the food, to be fair, was outstanding.

This was one of the worse Italian meals I’ve ever had. My veal was literally swimming in the Sambuca sauce. Vegetables and all were covered in so much liquid that I did not enjoy the tough veal at all!
My husband’s fettuccini Alfredo was also very liquidy. The sauce did not adhere to the pasta at all. He had halftime a dish of cheese flavoured milk when done.
Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone

Our small group of three thoroughly enjoyed our dinner & look forward to eating there again. The bruschetta bread was a perfect start as an appetizer along with their caesar salad. I could have stopped there as my meal but I wanted to try my favourite dish. I tried the Chicken marsala while the other guests ordered the carbanara pasta & chicken parmesan. All 3 entrees were so delicious. Don't leave without dessert. We were so full but we ordered the creme brulee cheesecake with 3 forks.
The service was absolutely great. Staff very friendly. I would definitely come back here again.

Lovely atmosphere and great staff. Always a dependable choice when we are in town. I would recommend the Penne Gigi or the Veal Marsala. Calamari is also cooked perfectly, and not at all chewy or tough. Definitely recommend for a date night or celebrations.

First time in Belleville and decided to go to Linguine’s for dinner. Wasn’t very hungry so ordered the Stracciatella soup and Caprese salad. My husband ordered the Penne Carbonara. Service was excellent as was the food.

After years of driving past this restaurant we decided to try it on a Monday evening.
It did not disappoint.
I ordered the Salmon Puttanesca.absolutely delicious! As was the Tiramisu.apparently made in-house.
I would like to thank our server Justin. He was attentive, professional and a true delight.

Food was fine, huge servings. Service was atrocious. Almost 2.5hrs at the restaurant. 30-40 mins just for drinks. This is with making a reservation! Cannot recommend this restaurant. Experience was terrible!

Really great pasta & chicken parm. Only flaw I could come up with was one time while ordering over the phone, the one individual wasn’t very polite. I was simply confused by something on the menu & trying to ask questions. They responded in a very belittling way.

New ownership is amazing. We ordered takeout and the food was ready perfectly on time, and was piping hot.

Quality was incredible; and portions were excellent.

All 7 of us were super happy with our meals; and cannot wait to return.

Excellent food. Try the chicken marsala! Roasted potatoes are soooo good! Generous portions, delicious food, excellent service, reasonable pricing. Will definitely go back when in Belleville. YUM YUM YUM!

Absolutely amazing experience. From service to the food it was all excellent. Danielle was terrific. Delicious lamb, arugula salad, and veal marsala. So wanted to have tiramisu but ran out of room. Thanks for making our stay in Belleville extra special
